I don't think she had one. The Tea-type characters either can't Duel or avoid Dueling, and GX didn't have any of those in the main cast, so I'd mark it as N/A.

For ZEXAL, I'd put Kathy in the Akiza slot and Takashi in the Tristan slot.

EDIT: Chumley for Tea slot? lol

1) Yuma's Catchphrase. It's annoying. Even "D-GAZER SET!" would be better.
Episode 1 was oversuing it. sure. But since ep 2, I heard it like 1-2 times
2) The Characters are seemingly single-layered. Yuma is a Dumbass, Shark Is The Atypical D*ck of a villian. That Fat Kid(Forgot his name) is the Joey Wheeler of the Series and The other one is the Tristan Of The Series. And Astral is your Yami Yugi.
ZeXal has 5 episodes so far. You watched the first one. You expected an ultra-deep character development in first episode? Yusei, Jack etc. were also single-layered during the first few episodes.
3) The No. Cards are just Plot Devices. All they do is fuel the plot.
In first episode, Revise appeared only once for a moment. So yeah, shut the f*** up. Besides, Numbers are actually good cards.
4) The HAIRSTYLES. WHAT THE HECK. PINK AND PURPLE HAIR?
They're awesome
5) The First episode is pretty much a Tutorial to the card game.
At least ZeXal tries to teach all those noobs a proper way to duel. Besides, it's a show aimed for kids.
6) The art style. All Of It. The characters look like they are 5 years old.
lolno
7) CARD GAMES IN VIRTUAL REALITY!
Augumented Reality Duels >>>>> all other ways to duel
8) The Opening Only Shows Yuma. Nitpicking here.

This Opening Shows:
Yusei
Crow
Jack
Vizor(He also gets hit by Stardust Dragon if you look closely enough.)
Aki
Ruka
Bruno
Ushio
TheOtherSecurityPerson(Sima or something? I forgot)
Carly
Sherry
Lucciano
Placido
Jose
Z-One
Yep. That's a hell of a lot more than the ZeXal Intro.
ZeXal's opening is the first one. Nexus is from X00 episodes, so yeah. Besides, you must be blind not to see other characters

9) The naming. ZeXal? What does that even mean?
Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh Generation X
Yu-Gi-Oh 5 Dragons

These all mean something. ZeXal Means?
burnpsy already explained

10) They all have scouters. Yes, I know they are "D-Gazers" but what.The.Hell.
5D's had motorcycles, here they have D-Gazers. Each series had a gimmick.
So basically, you saw the first episode, and already say it's crap, and to make it better, compare it to the moment when 5D's was already hella developed?

Just watched ep 5 subbed

They need to realize they don't have time for fillers like this
I wouldn't actually say its filler

I mean, Its just showing us what would happen if Yuma lost the Numbers cards. Astral suffers.

Please understand the difference between filler and episodes at the beginning of a series.

Filler are episodes that don't accomplish anything, whether it be character relationships, plot, and only exist to take up space or episode slots. Episode 5 and 6 are not filler. Episodes 3+4 were not filler.

The series is still in the early stages. These episodes may not be immediately apparent as crucial to the plot, but they're not meaningless. 3/4 brought a new Number to the picture, and 5/6 shows a little more about the characters, and also the results of someone else controlling already obtained Number monsters. I actually learned that the Numbers have no negative effect on Yuma, and that even No. 39 can negatively amplify a person's desires (as Astral noted that the Numbers can do when in contact with a human).

So it may not have majorly developed anything, but it can't be entirely written off as filler. Also remember: The early episodes help develop other characters. Despite episode 1 making Tetsuo look like a jerk to Yuma, 5/6 show that they're actually better friends than you'd think, as he and Kotori were adamantly sticking to Yuma's side.

The main villain should obviously have a lot of No.'s too, which results in a big Anti duel.

makes sense. I can actually see that happening. inb4its1-9or90-99

Kaito, capable of even more, summons the Strongest Monster to exist "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" which has never been seen before! Yuma summons No. 39 Aspiring Emperor Hope to create a turnaround despite the impossible odds facing him.
Soul Hunter will have Numbers? Awesome. I personally like his design as a character, even though nothing really is known about him yet.

I still get that that wasn't really a filler though it was unnecessary

If they had included a number it would of been necessary
If EVERY duel has a new Number, then the show will become routine as hell.
