evilfusion
Volcasaurus, Shock Master, Goldrat, and Shamoji Soldier beg to differ with that theory. "6 is associated with bad things" 61 is the exception. Shock Master is unfair. Goldrat is terrible. I don;t know the other card.

Jord200
Dyson Sphere is not unstable, either. I said 6. Not 9. Dyson Sphere is probably the biggest card in Yugioh history though. On the bright side, we should bet getting at least 3 new Numbers in the next month. One in the manga, and two in upcoming episodes. Yay for progress. I know you didn't mention 9, but your theory seemed to go towards the 6 and 9 patterns so, I thought it was fair to mention it. Soooo.... the pattern doesn't quite connect... 6 = mildly evil? 66 = evil? 69 = more unstable than evil? 96 = more evil than unstable? 99 = unstable (for future reference)? 9= mildly unstable? Northern Sage
There will be a new OP for the anime, called "Dualism of Mirrors". It will be released on May 15th. Oh, and the next ED is called "GO WAY GO WAY", will be released on the same day.
Jord200
IThe fact Vector has an Over 100 Number makes me think he most likely is a Varian Lord. ???- 101 Durbe- 102 ??? ( I feel like Rei may have it for some reason.... )- 103 Vector- 104 Alit- 105 Gilag- 106 Misael- 107 101 probably belongs to the ruler of the Varian World. That being said, there are still two Varian Lords we haven't seen yet. Lets hope after this crap with these, we will see more Under 100 Numbers. It's a bit suspicious, and the spoiler is leaning towards the possibility.

A bit iffy on Rei since he's the Varian's guardian and he was sent to earth to stop the Varian lords, but it's possible though. It was what I immediately drew a parallel to when I first saw Rei… Yeah, but he's always seemed really suspicious to me. We still don't know why he beat the crap out of Alit. evilfusion
It's nice to see Yuma when he's pissed off. Why? Because potential character development, or maybe less immunity to the Numbers. Because why the hell have we gotten almost 100 episodes into the series without having Yuma get even mildly affected by a Number? Even without Astral near him and/or emotions running high, Numbers have never attempted to control him, with the sole exception of Shark Drake Veiss, but that was a unique situation of him pretty much physically wrenching Veiss from Shark's soul when it had been essentially created from Shark's hatred and exemplified by Tron. And even then, all it really did was hurt him. I'm still disappointed that Yuma hadn't gotten even slightly affected by Hope during his Duel with III, when Astral had vanished and Yuma was pissed. evilfusion
Isn't Hope the only benevolent Number? Hope has under at least 2 situations demonstrated it's no different from other Numbers in terms of affecting the holders. Tokunosuke stole it in episode 5/6 with his Trap, and was definitely affected. Tetsuo used it in episode 20 against Black Mist and was on the verge of being affected, but shook it off. I like to believe it was because he knew he couldn't get distracted with Yuma's safety on the line, and he already knew Numbers had some sort of effect on people, just had never felt it himself. I don't remember off-hand if Charlie was affected when he gained control of it for a turn during his Duel with Yuma, but he was clearly using Number 7's powers. I also don't remember if Jin was noticeably affected when Big Eye stole it, but let's face it, Number 11 and 16 both affected him obviously. evilfusion
Hate to rain on your parade, but as far as we know, Durbe is the only Varian Emperor. Meaning there are still six more. What on earth are you talking about? I'm not even sure where we got the info there are 7 lords, but there are also 7 Over-Hundred Numbers at minimum (indicated by Number 107, owned by Misael). If Durbe is the only one (and he has Number 102), then what does that make Vector, Alit, Misael, and Gilag, who have Numbers 104, 105, 107, and 106 (respectively)? Merci
I'm still disappointed that Yuma hadn't gotten even slightly affected by Hope during his Duel with III, when Astral had vanished and Yuma was pissed. The writers probably just forgot about it at that point, and were focusing on other things.
evilfusion
The writers probably just forgot about it at that point, and were focusing on other things. I don't think they forgot. They probably just didn't want to add another subplot to the Duel. They had already done III messing with Yuma's memory (which lasted a whole 7 minutes, probably because they realized Yuma in this state had zero potential) and Astral disappearing. Jord200
Isn't Hope the only benevolent Number? No. We have at least 6. Hope- Obvious. Shark Drake- Since it quit trying to control Shark. Tera-Byte- Born from its owner's desire to make a giant virtual Bugman for people to enjoy. Not an evil desire. Galaxy Queen- Born from her owner's desire to make him mom proud and happy. Not an evil desire. Lucky Stripe- Doesn't control. Gives good luck. Shamoji Soldier- Born from its owner's desire to become a better chief to ehlp him family business. Not an evil desire. Granted Galaxy Queen and Tera-Byte still possessed their owners, I don't think they're in the same class as say Black Mist, Focus Force, Coat of Arms, or Giant Killer. evilfusion
It's only confirmed that Durbe's a lord...the implication that Vector, Gilag, Alit, and Misael aren't lords as well would be ridiculous. There's only so many characters that could be made to fit that role before it gets absurd.
Merci
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Seven_Barian_Emperors Um...FinalFan, you know, you should finish reading people's posts before they're dead. Otherwise, it'd be pointless.
