Epic showdown is epic.
Heart Earth Dragon's Summon was pretty weird. Reminiscent of Malefic Truth Dragon's Summon tbh.
What the hell?

That effect is getting nerfed. It's immune to opposing card effects, it overpowers opposing monsters by equipping a monster from the Graveyard, it can negate its own destruction by battle by sending that equip, it can use an Overlay Unit when you take damage to inflict half the damage back, and evidently can also increase your LP by the same amount?

That's just...insane.

Hmm, and wiki claims that episode 72-74? has Yuma and Kaito Duel.

Guys seriously think Heartland is dead?

No, of course. Obviously the next season, or at least the climax, will be set in the Astral World cause, well, duh they have to do that. Heartland will come back in that season. Hell, he might even become like a 2nd Tron.

I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest if Heartland came back to be the real Big Bad of Zexal. Also, I can't shake the feeling that at some point Kotori or even all of Yuma's friends will be possessed/get Numbers.

Still no sub for 67 though. Sub teams I am disappoint.

Oh yes, how dare they not supply you with a FREE source of entertainment that they aren't getting paid for? How silly of them.

Tbh, the ending to Yumas and Trons duel was so farfetched, it was possibly the most ridiculous compared to INFINITE attack monsters in a Yugi and Dartz duel. I did not like how Yuma can pull random ZW cards from his ass, especially Lion Arms and its attack during Main Phase effect. They could've planned it properly and still followed general rules of the game >_>

But then again, that was the only way, seeing as his opponent was frikin' boss Number 69, that effect-stealing monster-killing creepy monster that managed to slay even NGEPD.

Though, it could have also been a Life Point gain effect, or a burn effect, or both.
It'd follow the rules of the game, although it'd be anti-climatic.

Effects are partly about breaking rules in any case. This is a stretch, but yeah...

I just noticed something in the manga.

"Meanwhile, as Yuma and Captain Corn Duel, the latter's past is revealed. In the eighteenth century, Captain Corn had been harvested to America, but the ship carrying him was attacked by a pirate named Captain Roberts, which saved Captain Corn. He then decided to navigate with Roberts through the seven seas. However, they crossed paths withDr. Faker, who while attempting to break a world record, ended up transforming Captain Corn into what he is today, due to grains of corn that spilled onto his devices."

Either this was worded REALLY badly, or they're saying Dr. Faker is several hundred years old.....

And now I must read the manga.

That's worded s*** folks.

More like, the grain of corn that later became Captain Corn was accidentally spilled into a compass case owned by Captain Roberts. Corn was there for all the time, but eventually Roberts died, and the compass was lost. Eventually Dr. Faker found it, and he used SUPER SCIENCE to animate Captain Corn.

So Faker isn't that old.

Number 92 has a wall of text, and requires 3 materials.

3 Level 9s

atm all we know from its effects are:
This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is Special Summoned: Change all Attack Positions monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position. Those monsters cannot change their battle positions. When this card battles, damage you would take is inflicted to your opponent instead, and you gain Life Points equal to the same amount of damage. While this card is Special Summoned, all cards your opponent places on the field are banished during the next Standby Phase. If this card is destroyed while it has no Xyz Material and sent to the Graveyard: Once, you can Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned this way, it gains 1000 ATK for every banished card.

Hmm... now where have I seen a similar effect to this card?: Yubel!

So, most of the content of the Duel is a bunch of references glued together.
-It is big muscles-version Godwin vs Yusei + Jack + Crow.
-Number is Yubel ATM, and it'll be Armityle after it most likely revives in the anime.
-Relinquished pops up in my mind somewhere, not sure exactly why.

So he WILL have the "can't be destroyed by non-Numbers by battle" IRL =P *shot*
