III, IV, and V all saw C39 in the tag duel. Even if III or IV didn't report it, there's NO way that V didn't.

Honestly, I say it's clearly set up for the return of Black Mist, but as a support for Yuma to kill the greater evil. 96 and 69 likely have an important link, so I can see 96 going "f*** IT, TRUCE." I really hope, at least.

IDK, all of Tron's sons in general don't seem all that talkative with their father.
III was shocked about seeing Astral, but never saw him comunicating with Tron all that much. Tron just vaguely understood what III wanted and left him alone to do his thing afterwards.
IV obviously wouldn't.
V, I wouldn't discard the possibility of him not reporting. Maybe his report was along the lines of "be careful of Kazuma's son, he's got a Numbers, does not get possessed by it, and has the original" and that's it. Though I admit it IS very possible he could have reported it. Let's see how stuff turns out.

Tron will use Number 30 in the next episode, so that means Tron will gain some of (if not all of) Kaito's Numbers

Yuma is finally using a non Hope Number in the final match. ....Crimson Shadow

... until Tron uses 50, 91 and 22.

Calling it now.

you're calling/predicting thst Tron will use Numbers that were used in the Manga that Manga Yuma posseses? its a very tiny possibility it'll happen in the anime (but i'm leaning towards the not gonna happen side)

speaking of those, i hope that those 3 will appear in the anime at some point, and if they are, then they'd have to be obtained by Yuma off-screen

Although, now that Tron has all of Kaito's Numbers, i hope we see some new ones (i.e that mystery Number that Jin had)

Just to be a jerk. Yes.

I think they'll appear in a minor way at some point. Was expecting to see Kaito defeat their users during the preliminaries when he was Number hunting.

It just seems to have deflated... I mean it seems like Kaito didn't even try that hard.
imo, i think it might have something to do with the negative effects of Kaito's Photon Transformation, since Number 69 absorbed NGEPD's effect, it felt like it was physically harming it, thus Kaito was able to feel it
After Number 69 absorbed NGEPD's effect, i think Kaito knew he had lost

I knew it! I knew the Tron family used their crests to steal Numbers!

Episode was okay. But it seems that Kaito is the only character who throws down facedown cards that he NEVER USES, even when about to lose Duels.

Seriously, episode 22, after using the Spell to drain Acid Golem's Overlays, he Set a facedown. He never used it.
Against III and IV, he Set a facedown. He never used it, and Yuma had to bail him out twice. He Set another card later (Battle Simulation) and did use it.
This Duel, against Tron. He Set a facedown. He never used it. He lost.

Next episode, Tron clearly uses Acid Golem. He also seems to use Number 8 again, but it looks weird. It looks like it copied Number 12 or something.

[s]It's going to be a huge plot device like Feelings Towards the Future![/s]

It's a way of zeroing his hand.

I'll just drop this here.

スフィア・フィールドは手札のモンスターをオーバレイすることでエクストラデッキからランダムにNo.を特殊召喚
この方法で特殊召喚したNo.はORUが無くなったら破壊

Supposed Translation:

Sphere Field
By using monsters from hand, you can overlay them and special summon by (random?) from Extra Deck. If it has no overlay units, the Number Special Summoned by this way is destroyed.

Short-handed and rushed, etc.
And this pretty much explains how Yuma has Level 5 Monsters. He doesn't, if what's said here is true.
____

Not sure, so I'll just let Kenta go for the translation.

That set card in this new episode was Photon Veil.

So yeah, he legitimately lost. (That and he thinks bluffs work on anyone not named Astral or Yuma...)

EDIT:

And here I thought the posts would merge and not make me look stupid with a double-post. =/

Meh.

Fair point. I just noticed the frequency that Kaito ends a turn with a facedown, yet never uses that card more often than not. I guess it's because I'm used to Yugioh series making use of all the player's facedowns before declaring a winner/loser, unless the card was revealed to the audience and its effect revealed to not help them against that particular threat (like Shark's anti-Damage card he Set against Kaito).

Without exception, a Set card is either used or its owner comments to himself how this facedown card will win the game. And they're never bluffs (that is, they might not be used to stop an attack or something, but they're still a card it makes sense to set). So this sitting on facedowns is really odd/lazy. I blame Astro Dude for this.

Season 2 ended at episode 49

We're on ep64 of Season 3, and it feels like its all drawing together to a conclusion of sorts.

Ya think?

Anyway, trying not to look at spoilers, but Yuma Shark Kaito vs Faker sounds typical, but at least its better than GX where it was every villian and his dog against Jaden for most of the time.
