Which reminds me, it's highly possible that the Trap Point Yuma hit at the start did that damage (it was that trap card that inflicts 100 damage for each card in your Graveyard. It would make sense somehow.)

One thing we did learn from the subs was that the entire thing was set up so Gauche would have an easy win, Kaibaland style.

I did like how this was one of the few duels where Astral didn't hold Yuma's hand throughout. (The others being parts of Yuma vs III, Yuma vs Gauche and Droite and I think Yuma's rematch against Shark. Could be mistaken though.)

Thankfully, post-filler episodes, Yuma isn't that Astral-dependant. Astral tells him what to do sometimes, but Yuma can still make decent plays on his own and at least isnt acting ridiculously contrary (episode 3 + 4, looking at you). In the filler episodes, Yuma lost so many IQ points...

Yuma vs III, Astral did give some solid advice/strategizing, and I think part of the point of Yuma getting annoyed was to make it hurt more when Astral "died". But he did know how to Duel fairly competently. Yuma vs Gauche and Droite was of course because Astral literally could NOT help him. But what made it kind of sad was that Astral had to tell him the winning move. Yuma literally could have won that Duel entirely on his own had he remembered Overlay Eater's effect. It's compensated by the fact Yuma losing all hope is delicious to see.

Of course, Yuma explicitly told Astral not to help in the rematch with Shark, and Yuma lost that Duel partially because of it. I'd note the tag team between Shark and Yuma vs Rikou and Kaio was a somewhat superior example of Astral not doing much to help.

Anyway, I saw Episode 60 unsubbed. It is almost all dialogue, so I dont have much to say.

Although I found it EXTREMELY distracting that a handful of Dr. Faker's animations in this episode are almost directly from episode 13, with two noticeable differences in them

1- They're inverted. Dr. Faker is facing to the left instead of the right and his gestures follow suit.
2- Episode 13 had a LOT of red in Dr. Faker's scene. The colors in this episode are normal.

it seems as if the episode titles for Episodes 64 - 66 have been revealed, and it seems as if the WDC finalists are known (and the semi-finals haven't started yet)
Episode 64: The Roar of Neo Galaxy Eyes! (July 16th)
Episode 65: Yuma vs Tron! The Shocking Duel Within Different Dimension! (July 23rd)
Episode 66: The Terrifying Duel! Arise, Hero of Bonds, ZEXAL! (July 30th)

Just seen the spoilers while looking at potential releases for Duelist Pack - Kite.

At least they're getting on with it now and not having loads of pointless buildup between semis and final.
When Tron beats Kaito, he might take all his 15 or so Numbers (or whatever he has in extra deck).

And he might actually use them in duels against Yuma and company.

Inb4 all he ever uses are Heraldry Numbers...

Number obsessed.
Wonder when subs will be up...

So Tron will remove his mask in episode 66? Awesome. The opening for this season does imply Tron would remove his mask eventually, so I was just wondering when it would happen. And he'll have Number 69? Interesting... it seems like it'll be a Heraldry monster, but no surprise there.

But now I wonder how many Numbers are being involved in this Duel.

And I'm intrigued by the fact it says it's a battle between Numbers. Maybe Yuma will use non-Hope Numbers? Even if he wins using Hope, just him using other Numbers would be great, even if I do get to have an eye twitch about how long it's been since he played another Number (still episode 14).

Despite my thoughts on what it would be likely being false, I still have a feeling it has a heavy link to 96. Considering how Evilfusion pointed out NUMBERS and that Yuma might use another, I can see Dark Mist pulling a and sorta siding with Yuma to stop Tron. He kinda uses Astral as a vessel, as well, so it wouldn't be shocking.

Number 69, lol.

I was expecting 66, but I dunno, maybe Faker. Coat of Arms sounds a badass name though.

Tron removes his mask? Yay.

Yeah. When it says Numbers... I'm not going to get my hopes up. I want to, but I just can't.

Genome Heriter - Number used to beat Kaito - Coat of Arms vs Hope - Hope Ray - and a new evolution of Hope (and Zexal Weapon).

I really hope I'm wrong and we get Astral say "look Yuma, we're going to have to use the lesser EE-VIL! and use the other Numbers" like Volca, Revise and so on (maybe even an OOPArt?) but, er...

Though I would much rather see Revise, Volca, Galaxy Queen, or Shock Ruler, at this point, ANY Number thats not Hope....or Black Mist would be a nice. I can actually see Yuma maybe using Machu Mach or Atlanthal against Tron just because they belonged to III. Or maybe since Yuma beats Shark, he would use Shark Drake.....

BTW, I predict Tron will pull a Marik.

Tron: The powers of Coat of Arms will destroy Neo Galaxy-Eyes!
Kaito: But I still have Life Points left! It's my victory!
Tron: Not so fast...this attack drains all power from your body. And your Photon Change is already half-killing you. I doubt you can live. Coat of Arms, activate!
*Dramatic sequence*
Kaito: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Tron: HAHAHAHAHAHA
*Dramatic sequence ends*
Kaito: ...Gahh....ahh
Tron: WHAT!? He's...still...alive! Impossible...
Kaito: My...turn...I summon...Daybreaker...att...a...
*Drops dead*

If you replace "epic" with "stupid", yes, it'd be epic.

I honestly think Kaito should be defeated, not lose by default. The only reason it worked (kind of) with Marik was because

1) Joey didnt have a God Card at all, so him essentially winning against Marik was a HUGE boost to his character.
2) Marik's entire strategy is "cause as much pain as possible". He's insane and uses a lot of cards and effects designed to hurt the opponent via Shadow Duels. Winning doesn't actually seem to matter as much as being in control of his opponent's torment. It also means he technically lost to all his Battle City opponents (If the Winged Dragon of Ra didnt require a chant, he'd have lost round 1. He lost first in the 4 way Duel. He was in the middle of losing Round 2. He forfeit Round 3).

Now, I fear tripping a QI style Slowpoke.jpg here, but I've had a revelation on the way back from the gym. Now I know we've all had a good titter about this, but I've worked it out why Coat of Arms is... the Number it is.

Atlanthal is Number 6.
Dyson Sphere is Number 9.
Therefore Coat of Arms = 69

Before people say you've missing out IV stupid; the last episode kinda indicated IV is the least favourite.

*cue sirens and minus points*

Anyway, has the ep been subbed yet? I mean genuinely subbed?

Here's the site of the subber
http://shinhwasub.wordpress.com/

According to said site, the raw he was provided is making it difficult to sync the subs, so he needs a new raw. Thus, a delay.

Fair enough since there's a lot of chat going on that isn't as obvious to predict as "I attack you directly with Number X". Can understand it would take a while anyway.

I'm just looking forward to seeing ep 60 more than I am Shark vs Yuma. I genuinely am. I'm interested in what Faker might reveal in his chat.
