It seems Gauche is going to duel V. This should be interasting.
Hi character throwaway. Of course, if the writers are desperate to get out some numbers, chances are this will be a full duel shown. If not, it will likely be mostly or fully off screen. Then again, considering 54, this probably could have seen being coming.
Considering...
Anna will apparently lose to one of the Fallguys
Chances are the final final (redundancy yay) will only consist of 4 duelists.

How did Anna even get to participate?!?
We dont actually know. But she must have had a full heart piece, since she was on the coaster. She probably stole a Piece and won the others.

That episode was kind of dumb. Maybe just because I wasn't really able to follow it well, or the fact Yuma pulled a new Rank 4 out of nowhere, or because despite the setup of 3 vs 1, Gauche and Anna joined to turn things around. Anna I knew about, Gauche came out of nowhere for that.

But how could she have a full Heart Piece if she wasn't even in the tournament?
*steal a Heart Piece*

*Duel other people and get the needed Heart Pieces*

How is this hard? She wasn't in the tournament originally, so she didnt have the first piece. But if she got one, her style is pretty overwhelming to the average duelist.

Did anyone see the preview for Episode 60? I've put it in a spoiler cause it contains some really really massive plot device...

It doesn't necessarily mean Dr. Faker appears IN PERSON. For all we know, Yuma encounters Dr. Faker over the video screen, the way Mr. Heartland has always been communicating with him. We have no idea where Dr. Faker is located in relationship to the city, or even if he's in the same dimension as them.

According to all the previews, the finalists will be Droite, Kaito, Gauche, V, Tron, Yuma, Shark, and IV

Tron vs Droite
Kaito vs V
Shark vs IV
Yuma vs Gauche.

Obviously, the winners are Tron, Kaito, Shark, and Yuma.

The next matchup should be, Tron vs Shark and Kaito vs Yuma. The final match should be Yuma vs Tron.

This is my prediction based on the idea of Battle City (which I actually also predicted the matchups WAY back then, although based on what combination would give Yugi all 3 God Cards without breaking the "1 rare card forfeit" rule). Here, Kaito and Yuma absolutely must face off, so it can't be Tron vs Kaito (although that match would probably be beyond epic), and Yuma vs Tron in the semi-finals would be...weird. Besides, Kaito and Shark already dueled once in the past, and if Shark has acquired Chaos Number 32, Tron would be the best opponent to defeat it.

Also, Yuma vs Kaito in the semi-final is idea if Tron is in the finals because both would not only have a personal rivalry/vendetta against each other, but if Tron defeats Shark, Yuma would have something against Tron, and Kaito already has a grudge against Tron because of Haruto. That would give their match the greatest punch for an epic duel.

Shark, being the first rival and now possesing a Chaos Number means that he has to duel Yuma and with the way he was treated by Tron's group (giving him a Number, making him participate) he just has to be important in someway.

Something's telling me that Tron would do some behind-the-scenes shennanigans and pull out of the WDC so Yuma has to go through both Kaito and Shark and then maybe face off with Tron after the final.

Besides, so far Tron has been hyped up as a sadistic mastermind with a destructive power, not a dueling progidy, so him not even dueling and just acting like a living time bomb during the final is not out of the question.

Anyway, this is ZEAL so making Shark fodder and giving Tron a broken ass deck (z-one style) is the most likely scenario.

I hope Tron uses Toons.

Seriously.
I really wish aswell, but it will be mostly unlikely since it goes back to the fact that in the anime, Toons were forbidden from duelists other than Pegasus...

Man, that really makes me wanna see Pegasus summon Relinquished again...

I have a few theories.

Shark will become corrupted by Number 32 and take IV's Numbers when he wins.
I can't believe I'm saying this but its possible V MIGHT win. HIGHLY unlikely, but I doubt think they would make V lose to Kaito. at least not right off the bat. If that does happen, would Dr. Faker toss Kaito aside? Would V take all of Kaito's Numbers?
Gauche and Droite will betray Dr. Faker and Mr. Heartland
We haven't seen the last of Anna.
