SCG First Set

I'm actually not expecting anyone to help. I simply said they are welcome to. I won't refuse any ideas. Normally I make cards on impulse. I don't wanna do that for this set. I don't wanna make a set of uber cards that win just about every game. I want the cards to play well but if they pull a victory over something, it shouldn't be by more than 2000 points. I say the slimmer the victory the better. Which is why I'm trying something completely new. The deck I'm testing against plays fairly well against the meta. So if the cards play well against it, then I will have an idea of how they'll play against the meta.

I'm not being stubborn or stupid. I know you're trying to help. I greatly appreciate it and I'm taking your advice. This thread is shut down during the period of time in which I will be working on the CCG. So my presence on YCM will be fairly close to non-existant. Don't post here again until I return. Thank you.

I apologize for the necro bump but I'm still working on this project. I just haven't posted since I don't have a computer to work with at the moment. I just don't like posting my ideas from a phone and such. I'm somewhat sure this post is related to the topic at hand in some way. Generally, no progress has been made yet. I closed the thread due to lack of progress. I guess I could leave the thread open since the intention was to allow the YCM community to discuss their ideas with me and keep you all updated on my progress.

A friend of mine was working on a special set that makes vanilla monsters gain effects.

don't we have monsters like that already..... are they like Gemini monsters?

Gemini monsters both vanilla/effect by virtue. The cards he was working on are normal monsters and the text on the card is nothing but that until certain cards come into play.

Unless you're going to post at least some cards, and show that you're active in your own project and stop continiously posting useless crap, you're not going to get any people involved in this thread. And no, just saying that "I'm working on cards" is not enough to get people interested in it.
