EndlessOcean
Okay. This a new type of summoning. It can only be performed in the graveyard. A revive monsters first normal summoned, then when in the graveyard you can revive summon it with its effect ( card does not have effect when normal summoned). You have to send monsters that have combined levels equal to the revive monsters level, but all the revive material monsters levels have to be the same. It is sort of a mix of exceeds and synchros. The cards do not tell you the summoning requirements, unless the have specific monsters needed. The ATK and DEF are equal to the revive material monsters ATK and DEF Here are a few. A Monster Dragon Earth Level 8 Machine/Revive/Effect Lore: Once per turn, you can Decrease this cards ATK by 1500 to destroy 2 level 4 or lower monsters on the field. If this cards ATK is 0, you can remove this card from play to Special Summon 1 level 4 monster from your hand. ???/??? B Monster Zombie Earth Level 8 Zombie/Revive/Effect Lore: If this card is Revive Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 level 5 or lower Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard. When a monster Summoned by this effect is removed from the field, destroy 1 card your opponent control with the lowest ATK. ???/??? That's all for now, more will come when I think of them. CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
though the idea is good but the term "Revive Summon" isn't original, many players know this term as it is the hidden term for Vampire lord, Sacred Phoenix of Netphys(wrong spelling i know) TBH this kind of summoning would be a little too easy and ATK can easily be over 3000 from what i know of. and lowering ATK by 1000 to send 2 level 4 or lower monster is a little too much maybe lower by 1000 to destroy 1 monster your opponent control to the graveyard. then again it's like Darklord desire. Horu
Revive Summoning pretty much takes place whenever you SS from the Graveyard. Also for ATK/DEF, you could just ?/? to avoid wasting space in the set file. Link to comment
CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
meh i guess so, but also revive summon seem pretty much a common thing to do for the graveyard since there alway been a monster reborn or so. but which remind me how it goes to the graveyard in the first place? i think you forgot to explain that too. Horu
The term "revive" would imply summoning a monster that existed on the field before going to the graveyard. Technically, you cannot "revive" something that never "existed". Link to comment
CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
oh yes indeed, i guess that pretty much sum it up then Link to comment
Horu
Though it should be that the monsters were sent from the field to the graveyard due to battle or card effects. Just to be a bit more specific. Link to comment
CNo.101 S.H. Death Knight
yup that pretty much fine, and somehow this kind of summoning reminding of Tyrant Dragon which i'm not sure of why but he used to be my favourite dragon before. ah i think it was because of when he is resurrected from the grave it require a monster to be send to the grave in it stead for some reason. Horu
I used to have Tyrant Dragon. But yeah, you have to tribute a monster to summon him from the grave. Link to comment
EndlessOcean
Touched up on the rules a bit. Also, any suggestions on how to make the ATK/DEF rule better? Link to comment

Horu
That will save you 6 bytes of space in the yvd file and any amount of space you can save is good. But ALWAYS keep the quality of your cards nice.Change the Atk/Def from ????/???? to ?/? so it doesn't copy The Winged Dragon of Ra. Link to comment
