"When my opponent attacks I gain life points equal to the attacking monster's attack power, and I can then pay an amount of life points. When this effect resolves I can add one of the Twelve from my Deck with an attack power equal to the combined amount of life points gained and payed by this effect!"

A card shot out of DiTra's deck again and was added to her hand.

"My turn, draw!" Without even looking at the card she revealed it to the opponent. "January - First of the Twelve. I shuffle it back into my Deck to Special Summon March - Third of the Twelve!"

The earth shattered underneath the duelists' feet as another, giant angel appeared, this one with brown, millitant armor.

"March lets me summon March Tokens equal to the total number of monsters on your field, which allows me to summon three Tokens with 1000 attack each!"

Three smaller versions of March appeared on DiTra's field.

"Next I activate my second face-down; Katastrophe. When I control one of the Twelve and at least two more monsters, I can either destroy all monsters or all Spell and Trap cards on my opponents field, so say goodbye to all of your Spell and Trap Cards!"

The giant angel held out its two arms and powerfull winds shot out of them, blowing away all of both Alex' and Raven's spells and traps.

"And now I activate the Spell Card Might of the Messiah and equip it to March. I can send one monster from my hand to the Graveyard to increase one of the Twelve's attack powers by 500 for each monster on the field and each of its followers in the Graveyard."

"Now March... Attack Alex' Dragon!"

"During my End Phase, March returns to my deck Might of the Messiah is destroyed, but when it is it deals half of the attack of the monster it was equipped to as Effect Damage!"

"Not quite!" Alex said. "By removing from play "Origin Elemental Dragon: Life"from my extra deck, I can make the destruction and battle damage count as destroyed by card effect and effect damage. Then due to the effect of opposite Elemental, my water dragon is switched to my fire dragon and no battle damage is taken."
Suddenly, Alex's deck glowed brightly, as did his dragons on the field. Dozens of majestic dragons, all different appeared behind him. At the far back was the largest dragon, which glowed so brightly that no features could be seen. All of them were beautiful and terrifying.
"According to my dragons and my god, this is not the final encounter. In these next moves, one of us would be beaten,but this is not the time. Here this however. We shall meet again Di Tra. And when that day comes, I will be ready. So until that day, the final encounter."
Every one of Alex's Elemental Dragons glowed into a blinding light. The earth they stood on cracked. The weather turned bitter. Alex and Raven disappeared.

[b]"Perhaps I must train harder before I pursue this being,"[/b] Sire Ronald considered, knowing he was on the verge of defeat during this duel. Maybe Alex was right, the two of them may well have underestimated each other.

Days passed after the duel. Sire Ronald was now squaring off against a second Nordic duelist. This one had the Polar God King Thor, which was already on his side of the field in Attack Position.

[b]"Thou shall pay for defying the Messiah!"[/b] Sire Ronald shouted, [b]"DRAW!!"[/b]

(OOC Note: Stopping here so I can sort out Ultimate Iron Chain Dragon's power and what it can do.)

"One of your sons perished trying to bring your message through, my Lord." A man walked into the great throne room and walked up to a man with long, lightbrown hair. The brunette was wearing a golden crown and red armor, and was standing with his back towards the newcommen man, looking out of the window at the city below his palace.

"I take it he didn't succeed?" The red-dressed man answered.

"No, my Lord."

"Ked, you are allowed to call me by name."

"Yes my Lo- Asar."

"That's better." Asar turned around and looked at Ked. He had shining, blue eyes and a sharp face, with two scars on his right cheek. "And Bjorn?"

"Asar, you're not concerned at all that your son is dead?"

"Ked. He was expandable. His sacrifice will not go unnoticed, even though it was in vain." Asar answered and started to walk out of the room, towards a balcony. "I ask you once again, what about Bjorn?"

"He's dueling with a Knight of the Messiah." Ked answered and a floating holoscreen appeared in front of Asar, showing his second son dueling Sire Ronald. "If he dies that makes Hilda the last wielder of the Nordic powers."

"Hilda has already added Loki to her collection of power. If Bjorn perishes she will become one of our most powerful soldiers." Asar said calmly. "She will be a worthy opponent for the Messiah."

"Yes, Asar, but you will be without heirs and the Empi-"

"Silence!" Asar shouted. As he shouted a dragon-like marking appeared on his back, glowing through his armor. "The only thing that matters to me right now is to defeat the Atlanteans. Any sacrifices are acceptable."

"But-"

"Do you question me?" Asar was now standing on the balcony, holding the ledges and staring out over the city. "And should Hilda fall too... I will take care of DiTra herself."

((Yes, Muans, that's your Emperor. Father of the three Nordic Duelists and one hell of a Signer, holding all five of them (In this reality BWD was never a Signer Dragon, since his existence in the anime was stupid) and doing it damn well too.))

((Yes, he's a f***ing Mary Sue, but then he is there to counterweigh DiTra.))

[Mecha Love]

Alex and Raven found themselves outside a grand palace in the Muan Empire. Statues of the Signer Dragons lined the outside walls which shone gold from the suns reflection. Tall towers reached for the sky. Alex sighed. "I'm back. After so long, my dragons decided to bring me here. I wonder if my emperor will still treat me as the friend I once was." Alex sighed again. "There really is only one way to find out." He pushed the massive door open and strode into the throne room. "My Emperor! I have returned to my homeland. As always, I am at your command." He bowed low. When he stood up again he said; "It has been too long! We must speak! However, I also have grave news to bring."

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Desna went inside with Chase. [color=#FF0000]"Alright. Show me where I'm sleeping."[/color]

Meanwhile, an armored woman approached DiTra.
[color=#00FFFF]"Greetings."[/color] A smooth, calm voice greeted DiTra. [color=#00FFFF]"I am your new attache from elements of our nation's military. You may call me 'Shark'. My superiors have composed of a plan to lure out the abomination known as 'Desna Adats' by holding a tournament in Mu to improve Atlantean-Mu relations. If a chance to duel you is offered as part of the prize, as well as an exorbitant amount of money, he will be hard pressed to resist. From what information we have gathered, he wishes to meet you to figure out what you are, since, to him, you are a fellow interdimensional traveler. He also wishes to acquire some rare elements to rebuild a device we are still analyzing that seems to give him the ability to travel between dimensions. Those are his two goals, and if opportunity knocks...Well, you know what I mean."[/color]

DiTra didn't look at Shark, but instead brought up a holoscreen in front of her.

Asar looked at Alex. He had so many followers that he had almost forgotten about Alex, but Alex, like he, carried great powers that would help Mu achieve victory in this battle.

"Welcome home, Alex." Asar answered. With a wave with his hand he commanded Ked to leave them. "I see taht you've returned from Atlantis. Then I guess you heard about my son's... Unfortunate destiny."

Before Alex had time to react the holoscreen used to show Bjorn and Sire Ronald changed to show DiTra's masked face. Asar didn't look shocked at all at his "rivals" sudden appearance.

"Asar af Muon." DiTra greeted Asar. Asar answered with a nod.

"My lady." He said in a surprisingly gentle tone. "I take it you have something important to tell, or did I miss our two countries suddenly making up?"

"No, Asar." DiTra replied. "However, we Atlanteans want our relationship with the Muans to be of a more healthy sort and is thus offering to start a tournament to bring our two cultures closer."

"You know that this world is not big enough for both our cultures, DiTra." Asar said with a stern face.

"We can either fight a war or prove our superiority, or inferiority, to eachother in a friendlier way."

"I guess you're right. Let it be then. Here, in this city of Babylon shall it be fought, on the top of the tower of Babel."

The holoscreen turned to Alex.

"I'm waiting for you there." DiTra said, almost hissed, before the holoscreen disappeared. Asar looked at the emptiness left behind from it.

"Collect our strongest champions, Alex." He then said and walked away.

[Mecha Love]

"Well...... someone remembers me." Alex sighed sarcastically. "I'm so glad that she decided to invite me. This is probably where the Final Encounter will take place. I shall go all over Mu in search of these champions. No-one will back down from this. I shall be back as soon as i can." Alex ran out the room towards the door, already summoning his Elemental Dragon: Wind. He swiftly jumped onto the Dragons back and zoomed off into the vast Muan skyline. "First of all, the North." Alex muttered. "We should find all of the strongest, and I think I know who to find first...." The Dragon obeyed its master and fired itself forward into the bright orange sun. Clouds streamed past Alex's face. [i]I just wonder what is REALLY in store for this tournament...[/i]

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

Shark smiled. [color=#00FFFF]"Excellent, Your Magnificence. My superiors are rather pleased. We were planning on paying for this out of our own pockets, but your solution costs the Muans instead of us. Anyways, we should probably collect our own duelists to duel against the Muan contingent. I, myself, will be dueling as well, if you don't mind."[/color] Shark suddenly got an idea. [color=#00FFFF]"In fact, Your Radiance, would you be willing to duel me? I know you are probably tired from that duel earlier, but I wish to gauge your skills if we are going to catch this 'Desna Adats', this heretical creature from another dimension, and eliminate him once and for all."[/color]

[Aesirson]

"Not a bad idea Shark." DiTra answered. "If you are to duel in my name I want to see you worthy first."

DiTra walked a bit away in the room and then turned to Shark.

"I will let you start." She said, and the Duel Disk once again appeared on her arm.

Meanwhile, in the giant city of Babylon Asar walked into the room of his daughter, Hilda. She laid on her bed, dressed in a black jumpsuit with some gray armor platings attached to the chest, arms and lower parts of the legs. Her hair was long and dark brown, and was spread out on the bed. She usually wore it in a ponytail, but right now she didn't. Her eyes were of a golden, hazel color.

"Hilda. You know that you're younger Azael is dead, and if I know DiTra's knights right Bjorn will soon be too. That will leave you the only Rune Eye left."

Hilda nodded at her father's words. "I know, father."

"I want you to champion me during the tournament."

"I will, father." She sat up at the bed and held a card in her hand. Odin. Her right eye turned into the rune eye, and as it did a new card materialized next to Odin. Loki. As it did, a small appendage grew out on the run in her eye, as if it were powering up. "Once Bjorn is gone I will be one of the greatest duelists this world has ever seen."

OOC:Family bonds are overrated. Oh, and Chases speaking is now purple, because purple is the manliest color.

Chase led Desna inside the house, and brought him to the room "[color="#9932CC"]So...good night, sleep well, and don't make too much noise. If you're discovered, we're both dead.[/color]" He turned without waiting for an answer, and walked back out to the shed. He went over to a large box. "[color="#9932CC"]Let's see...they're in here somewhere...[/color]" he muttered. "[color="#9932CC"]Ah...there.[/color]" He pulled out some pieces of electronic equipment. "[color="#9932CC"]Let the illegal modification begin![/color]" He sat down by his fathers D-Wheel, and began working.

"[color="#9932CC"]And...done.[/color]" He said as he finished the modification. "Which leaves me enough time to get a..." he checked his watch, "Sleep that might just barely be long enough." He stood up, and returned to the house.

Shark drew her first five cards, then drew a sixth.
[color=#00FFFF]"I draw, and I activate Gold Sarcophagus."[/color]
A golden box appeared in front of the knight-like warrior, which then opened up.
[color=#00FFFF]"I can remove from play A Legendary Ocean from my Deck for 2 of my turns, after which, it is added to my hand."[/color]
She looked through her Deck, placed a Field Spell Card in the open box, and stepped back to watch the box close and sink into her field.
[color=#00FFFF]"Next, I will set 2 face-down cards and a face-down Defense Position monster, then end my turn."[/color]

"My turn, draw." DiTra drew a card, added it to her hand and pulled another one out of her hand. "I summon Messenger of the Twelve in attack position."

A man wearing machine-like, fullbody armor appeared. He was holding a book in one of his hands and a mace in the other.

"I can now reveal one of the Twelve in my hand and let him attack diurectly during this turn." DiTra picked one of the cards in her hand and revealed it to her opponent. "June - Sixth of the Twelve."

As the card was revealed Messengers mace started glowing with a red light.

"Now Messenger shall attack." The warrior leapt into the sky and was ready to strike Shark with the mace.

Shark flipped her Trap up as DiTra was about to reveal June. [color=#00FFFF]"I activate Respect Play!"[/color]
Five cards appeared in front of DiTra, while 2 cards appeared in front of Shark.
[color=#00FFFF]"Did you not think I would come prepared against your Deck? Our researchers ran simulation after simulation, looking for a chink in your armor, until we found it: your cards can't activate their effect of revealing themselves if they are already revealed!"[/color]

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, Desna was still sleeping when Chase returned to his house.

[Aesirson]

"Impressive." DiTra said and then took two cards out of her hand. "I set three cards face-down and end my turn."

Hilda walked out on the balcony and saw the sun rise in the distance. One day this would be hers. The entirety of the Muan Empire would be hers as soon as her father and Bjorn were dead. She smiled at the thought. She would be the most powerful duelist in the world, and she would also be the Empress of both the Muan Empire AND the Atlantean Nation.

((I don't like the idea of having to plan what cards are in my hand to start with, so let's just say that Shark knows that DiTra has June in her hand, but no other Month card.))

A strange greenish-blue creature appeared from the face-down. (1500 ATK)
[color=#00FFFF]"Now, Skreech, attack Messenger of the Twelve!"[/color]
Skreech emitted a powerful shockwave of sound that headed for the armored warrior.

[b]THE NEXT DAY:[/b]

Chases' alarm went off at 4:00. "[color="#9932CC"]Uhh...why can't my parents just sleep in until 1:00? That would be more convenient...[/color]" He stood up and dressed. He walked over, grabbed his deck, and a bag he had packed before leaving his room. He walked down to the room where Desna was sleeping. He opened the door. "[color="#9932CC"]If you're awake, get up and get ready to go. If you aren't awake, wake up then do that. I hope you like bagels and toast, because that's breakfast. We're eating on the drive, because this whole 'running away' thing is making me really paranoid.[/color]" He walked back upstairs.

However, Desna wasn't there. His bed was folded, and the entire room looked like it had never been occupied by a man on the run. Instead, a smell was coming from the kitchen, where a huge breakfast had been prepared by Desna, who was entertaining Chase's parents with his awesome pancake-flipping skills.
Chase's father turned to Chase. "Son! Why didn't you tell us about your friend here? He is so talented! He showed me this interesting way to get a closer shave!"
Chase's mother smiled at him. "Come take a seat! Desna's almost done making us this breakfast! He told us that you had been chosen to go to the Babel Tower Tournament being held in a few days, but that his Duel Runner had been stolen, so he asked to borrow your father's."
"And I said yes!" Chase's dad replied. "Of course you can go to the tournament! It's obvious that he is a very responsible young man who is dedicated to dueling, so I am trusting him to look after you!"
Chase's parents got up and hugged him. "We are so happy for you!" Chase's mom told him. "Make us proud." His father added.

"[color="#9932CC"]... ... ...This experiance is getting less awesomely dramatic every second. Also, Desna, I hate you.[/color]" He walked over to him, and whispered in his ear. "[color="#9932CC"]Although, I must admit, just not saying that you're on the run [i]would[/i] have worked...but still, those had better be damn good pancakes.[/color]" He turned back to his parents. "[color="#9932CC"]Um..yeah...proud...sure...can do...but...wait...what the hell is the Babel Tower Tournament?[/color]" He pulled out his hand held computer, and open the internet. "[color="#9932CC"]Oh...OK...sounds interesting enough. It will be nice to own some random people.[/color]" He pulled up a chair at the table. "[color="#9932CC"]Anyway...are those pancakes done yet? I'm hungry.[/color]"

Desna whispered back [color=#FF0000]"I never said I was on the run. Just that you and I are participating in the tournament together. Plus, I managed to synthesize a compound using the materials in your kitchen and your garden. The compound, when combined with caffeine, makes the victim highly suggestible to anything anyone says for a few hours. Obviously, I spiked your parents' coffee with it. For the next 2 hours, they will do and agree with pretty much anything we say, within reason."[/color] He then finished the pancakes and gave each person a huge stack. [color=#FF0000]"Bon appetit."[/color] He announced before digging in. Plus, the pancakes were the best pancakes Chase had ever had.

As Hilda was walking on the balcony a black sphere appeared ahead of her and as it was dissipating a young man walked out of it and looked around for a moment. [color=blue]I've never breathed in such pure anima before not even back home, I might actually want to concur this place when I'm done.[/color]
Raven looked around confused at what had just happened but he decided he'd lay low for a while so that he wouldn't get executed.

"I activate my face-down, Malevolent Catastrophe." DiTra responded to the monsters attack. "Now all Spells and Traps on the field are immediately destroyed."

Hilda looked at the newcommen man. She didn't seem surprised at all, even though she'd never seen the man before. Such things appeared to be common to her.

"What are you doing?" She asked him with a small smirk on her face. "I think you're out of place, bud."

He chuckled at little at the woman's comment seeing as she was dressed quit nicely yet she still used a word like bud which was used either by close friends or someone of very low class, [color=blue]Out of place, in a castle no but I suppose in this one a little... I've been hanging out with Yami a little to much I'm starting to talk like him, but that doesn't matter if it's that much of a problem I'll leave but still a high class lady really shouldn't be using bud in any reality, and with that I should introduce my self I use the name Haseo.[/color] Haseo the boring grammar and manners classes his mother made him take and was surprised that they were actually coming in handy.

"Haseo? Hah." Hilda looked away from the man and instead looked at the city stretching out before her. "I call people whatever I want. I was raised to know that I am in control, and I do know that I am."

She chuckled and then looked at Haseo again.

"And I guess you're on of those weird Atlanteans who think that they're coming from another universe?" She giggled. "How did you get up here anyway?"

Haseo smirked at her first comment but was surprised by her second, [color=blue]Sorry but I don't know about any Atlantis so you probably have the wrong guy all I'm doing is drifting until i understand what my father's message meant that I have to obtain true power before I can go home so i just wonder.[/color] Haseo looked up into the sky remembering his home for a few seconds before continuing, [color=blue]and how I got here was simple I rode the waves of anima from one place to another and this is where I ended up, but it's surprising you don't find anima this pure almost anywhere.[/color]
