Megazone 23 is a trilogy of OVAs released in the 80's. The 80's was a golden age for anime. OVAs were introduced, such as this series, MD Geist, Guyver, Starship Troopers, Violence Jack, and others. To sum up Megazone 23, teenage rebellion, death and destruction, motorcycles that turn into giant robots (in a Robotech's Veritechs,) great music, and a great storyline. Shogo is a teenager on the run from the military after his friend steals the Garland, a motorcycle that transforms into a giant robot. He soon learns that his world isn't as real as he thought.
