This isn't exactly a card contest, but if Admins will allow it I'll make a submittion.

I would just like to make a comment first on your Joining Form: Replace "Archetype" with "Deck," since a lot of good decks out there aren't build around a specific archetype.

[spoiler=Naraku](I added more than you asked for, but not much.)

Name: Naraku

Age: 23

Height: 5'7

Description: Naraku often wears dress-pants, and a white button-up shirt.

Personality: He's a very formal yet serious man when dueling, but when it's time for fun he will join in. He always shows respect for his opponents, even when losing, and always keeps a straight face, even when the duel ends. He is also a very caring man.

Alignment: Protagonist

Deck: Naraku uses a Warrior-type deck, built on using his weaker Warriors (such as Marauding Captain) to hold off his opponent until he can get out his stronger monsters. His spell cards are mainly meant to help him summon his key cards, and uses Royal Decree to eliminate the threat of Traps. (I have this deck built using WC2010, I can send you a complete deck list if you want.)

Key Cards: Black Luster Soldier (ritual), Arcana Knight Joker (fusion), Colossal Fighter (synchro)

Duel Disk: He uses a modified version of the Battle City Duel Disk, the only difference being the added Extra Deck Zone.

History: He comes from a good family and built his first deck from cards he collected that people often threw away and didn't want. He eventually modified it to the deck he currently uses, keeping all his other cards in a box-tin, willing to hand them over to people he believes will have use for them.

I will join in as well, I suppose.

Name: Karo

Description: about 5'5, average build, often wears dark red shirt with black vest, medium length dark brown hair with a dark red streak down the middle, dark blue eyes

Personality: Fiercely independent and almost always calm, cool, and collective. Whether he wins or loses, he rarely shows emotions.

Allignment: Antagonist

Deck: runs a DARK beatdown deck (Dark Crusader, The Beginning of the End, Eradicator Epidemic Virus, Great Maju Garzett)

Other: duel disk is tinted black and shaped like a wing, has different layers that expand down as it activates|||a gifted child who excelled at anything he did, this made him tired of everything being so easy (hence, his general lack of emotion)|||he is looking for the perfect duel; one that will truly test himself as a duelist|||

Name of the Character: Kuri Yamato

Side of the Character(Protagonist/Antagonist): Protagonist

Archetype(1 Effect Monster, 1 Spell Card, 1 Trap Card, The Ace Card): 286222.jpgWOGME.png Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a face-up "Warrior of Great Fortitude". While you control this face-up card, your opponent cannot change the battle positions of their monsters, except by card effects. Once during each of your turns, you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:

● You can Tribute 1 face-up LIGHT monster you control to inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

● If this card destroyed your opponent's monster as a result of battle, it can attack once again in a row.

286222.jpg

Lore: After activation, Special Summon this card; it is treated as an Effect Monster Card (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 8/ATK ?/DEF 100). You cannot Normal or Special Summon another monster the turn you activate this card. Once per turn, you can Tribute any number of Fiend-Type monsters to have this card gain ATK equal to the Tributed monsters' ATK, until the End Phase. The controller of this card pays 1000 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). When this card is targeted by the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 2 or 5, negate the effect and destroy the opponent's card. As long as this card remains on the field, during each Standby Phase increase the ATK of this Card by 1000 points until the End Phase. After 2 Standby Phases Remove this Card from play.

Lore: The controller of this card pays 500 Life Points during each of their Standby Phases (this is not optional). When the effect of a monster is activated, you can add 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your Deck to your hand. This effect can only be used once per turn regardless of any other Spell or Trap Cards.

Storyboard(A good and understandable story but not too long): Not too long ago Kuri's younger brother Kalum ran off from home in search of his brother facing any evil-doers who stood in his way and as his story unfolds some dark Mysteries awaken deep within.

I understand better now. You can disregard my earlier submittion, and consider this my official one.

I haven't finished the custom cards: But are written cards acceptable? Some of the ones I did make are lacking pictures to go with them.

[spoiler=Shigeru]Name: Shigeru Daichi

Age: 23

Height: 5'7

Personality: He's a very formal yet serious man when dueling, but when it's time for fun he will join in. He always shows respect for his opponents, even when losing, and always keeps a straight face.

Alignment: Antagonist

Deck: Shigeru uses a Fiend-type deck designed on getting out Tributes for his stronger monsters, the Forgotten Demon.

Key Cards: His key cards are the Forgotten Demon archetype (I'll include the rest of the cards later when I finish them)

History: When he first started dueling, he became fascinated with the different cards and such, and started collecting them, keeping his favorites in his deck. He also wishes to participate in a World Dueling Championship, so his name will be remembered by many.

Name of the Character: Keel L. (Lance) Macabre

Side of the Character(Protagonist/Antagonist): Dark-Hero Protagonist

Archetype:

[spoiler=Set]

NOTE-"Apocalypse Tokens" go to the Graveyard.

115072.jpg

Each time this monster destroys a monster by battle, Special Summon 1 "Apocalypse Token"(Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your side of the field. Once per turn, you can tribute 1 Apocalypse Token to increase the ATK of an Apocalypse Monster on your side of the field by 800 points.

115072x.jpg

If there is 1 or more Apocalypse Monster (s) on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, Special Summon 1 "Apocalypse Token"(Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your side of the field.

115072su.jpg

When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can tribute 1 "Apocalypse Token" to have this card attack once again in a row.

115072.jpg

Once per turn, you can tribute 1 "Apocalypse Token" to destroy 1 Spell/Trap card on the field.

115072q.jpg

This card can be Special Summoned by tributing 1 "Apocalypse" monster on your side of the field. When this card is destroyed, you can Special Summon up to 2 "Apocalypse Token"s (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

115072d.jpg

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned when there are 5 or more "Apocalypse" monsters in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 "Apocalypse Token" in your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Apocalpyse" monster from your Graveyard.

115072m.jpg

2 "Apocalypse Token" + 1 non-token "Apocalypse" monster

You can Fusion Summon this card from your Extra Deck by removing from play the above cards on your side of the field (you do not use "Polymerization"). You can tribute 1 "Apocalypse" monster on your side of the field to destroy 1 card on the field. When this card is removed from the field except by its own effect, Special Summon all the monsters removed from play for its summoning. If "Apocalypse Destroyer" is removed from play or is in the Graveyard, you cannot Fusion Summon "Apocalypse Destroyer".

115072r.jpg

1 Tuner-Monster + 1 or more non-tuner monsters including at least 1 "Apocalypse" monster

Once per turn, by removing from play 1 "Apocalypse" monster on your side of the field, negate the effect of a Spell Card and destroy it. The effects of monsters this card destroys by battle are negated. When this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Apocalypse Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

115072wy.jpg

If you Normal Summon this card, its original ATK becomes 1700. This card can be Special Summoned from your hand by tributing 1 "Apocalypse Token". When this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 "Apocalypse Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

115072k.jpg

When this card is summoned successfully, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Apocalypse" monster from your Graveyard. This card cannot be Special Summoned by the effect of "Apocalypse Necromancer".

115072n.jpg

When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Apocalypse" monster with 1500 or less ATK from your deck. When this card is removed from the field by a card effect or as a cost and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Apocalypse Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).

^ Yeah, I know you had a different form, but I hope this does the job. If not just object. ^

Storyboard(A good and understandable story but not too long): I know this is orthodox, but I'll try:

The world is ruled by egocentric aristocrats, rotten from core, living to do nothing but collect heavy taxes from the enslaved public and be promoted towards the throne of the Universal Lord. Once they were chosen by elections, but for over a decade no votes have been held. Now they use assassins – assassins with powers to materialize Duel Monsters. The underage assassin known by the name of Keel L. Macabre (this isn’t his real name) is one of the most successful of them all. Now he has been assigned by an aristocrat to eliminate the current Universal Lord. And stuff. From here you write.

Guest Justice Master of Spoons

I'll join, but I warn you. I'm using the archetype I named myself after. That and it is a COMPLETE archetype, but it'll give you some variety.

Name of the Character: Dalst Riley

Age: 17

Side of the Character: Protagonist

Archetype: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/235858-cc-yourdek-justice-soldiers/page__p__4924851#entry4924851

Storyboard: When Dalst was young he was terrible at the game of Duel Monsters. He wasn't necessarily bad at the game, not at all, he just couldn't find the deck right for him. That was until he was 10. It was on that fateful day that he entered a huge Duel Monsters trivia tournament. Knowing so much about the game, he easily won. What was the prize you ask? Cards. Not any cards, but cards that were one of a kind, no reprints. What was so special about these cards to Dalst, though? They completed him, they were his deck. At the age of 15 he tried to gain entrance into Duel Academy, failing only because of his ignorance, which gets to him whenever he has a huge lead. But behind that ignorance lies an amazing duelist, a duelist who has faced challenges almost as difficult ones Yugi has faced. He only goes by one rule when playing the game, use your head and your heart.

Other: When dueling, Dalst does something few people do these days, has fun. That being said, when the going gets tough, he becomes more serious and starts to show a higher level of skill. That also applies to when he is in a high stakes match. WILL NOT Turbo Duel. He finds it to be a waste of gas.
