Here, we developed civilization, and even primitive kinds of technology. However, a disaster struck Mu a long time ago, and the survivors were scattered with the wind. In this reality the disaster was prevented. The Muan people kept on evolving. After some time, they eventually emigrated to other continents, but they still considered themselves Muan. The Mu Empire flourished, but there was one part of the Mu Empire that wanted to be free, Atlantis. Atlantis broke free from Mu, but the two nations kept on living in peace and developing technology together. However, the people of Atlantis wanted to differ more from the Muan, and instead of worshipping the Muan Gods the Atlantean turned to the multiverse, a gigantic network of dimensions connected to eachother. The Atlanteans saw this as their God. The Muan disagreed, but the Atlanteans kept insisting that the Muans should also follow the Multiverse. Even though peace was kept, the Atlanteans have recently taken a more offensive approach onto the Muan's belief, and a war is around the corner... [spoiler=Info][spoiler=So, where's the card games?]Since there's an obvious Yu-Gi-Oh! tag slapped onto the RP title we can't avoid card games, can we? Since this world evolved into a different direction than the one we live in, the Duel Disks are not equal to those of this world. While they mostly look the same, these are driven by the Duelist's willpower. Otherwise they function like normal Duel Disks, and Duel Monsters is still the most played game in the world. However, it was not created by Pegasus. In this reality, Duel Monsters is a direct descendant from the Shadow Games played on [i]Mu[/i]. Egyptian Mythology doesn't exist, as the Egyptians were refugees from Mu. As a direct consequence to this, the Egyptian Gods does still exist, but they are called the Muan Gods instead (their names and effects are still the same. It is a common fact that Duel Monsters was played by the old Muan Priests, and some Duelists sees themselves as reincarnations of these priests, while others play it for fun. Duel Monsters is also played dring some rituals in the Mu Empire, while it is mostly a sport in the Atlantean Nation.[/spoiler][spoiler=Mu Empire and Atlantean Nation]The Mu Empire stretches across the entire Eurasian continent. Australia, Africa and of course Mu itself is also included in the Mu Empire. The continent Mu is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and divides it into the Northern and Souther Muan Ocean. The people of Mu are religious and worships the Muan Gods, which includes, but is not limited to, the [s]Egyptian[/s]Muan Gods, Nordics and the Crimson Dragon While the Crimson Dragon in our reality is stationed in southern America it originally came from Mu, and since Mu was never destroyed the Crimson Dragon had no need to emigrate. The Alantean Nation includes the entire American continent, Antarctica and the Arctic, along with the island Atlantis in the Atlantic Ocean. While the technology of the Atlantean Nation is equal to that of the Muan Empire, the Atlanteans relies more on the technology than on their religious beliefs.[/spoiler][spoiler=So what about the Meklords and the Earthbounds?]Atlanteans. What did you expect? In this reality, the Meklords were created by the Atlanteans to fight the various Synchro Monsters used by the Muan (Signer Dragons and Nordics, for example) while the Earthbound Immortals were sealed in the Nazca Desert, located on the American continent. I like how all characters so far are neutral (except for DiTra, who is obviously with the Atlanteans) Trimage, the Atlantean Nation and Mu Empire are the only two countries in the world, but Raven could be from a specific city in one of them that instead of following their country's religion has their own. Grandt, your character is interesting to say the least. Just don't bring any more aliens with you. (like if he "calls" the aliens to Earth) I don't think you would do that, but I just want to make sure. He can still make refferences about them of course. Lady, there's really nothing to say. Essentially, he is the Yu-Gi-Oh! multiverse's answer to Duke Nukem. He is badassery incarnate. He is like Sheila Broflowski's description of people from New Jersey: no matter how mad you get at him, he will somehow convince himself that he is awesome and that you really think he is cool. The farthest I was considering going was a special card (or some other object) that could turn him back into an Alien body, if that's okay with you. Though it would probably only happen when the plot demanded it. I also have a friend who might be joining this soon.
