chairman ali
By making the whole piece look more realistic. Right not it looks like a render over a background with a few effects.

Sorry, I'm still low novice for a reason XD [/quote] Don't class yourself, you'll set yourself up to a superficial standard that isn't healthy for anyone. As for this, I really would consider removing the odd blur's and well... Remove everything except the basics. Start all over and try and get that "Mystified as he's reading" feeling. Like he's in thought while at the train station. And THEN add Dynamic Effects.
Seta
Like Josh said, it's usually the best way to make the basics of the tag work first, like depth, blending, flow etc. and then add the effects. Sure it might sometimes be hard to get the effects look 'right' with the tag, but just keep trying. This one, I'd suggest to scrap everything except the stock and render out and start again. The blur's really odd, it doesn't help the depth in anyways. Try looking at the tag like a realistic scenery with your own eyes. When you focus your look into one point, which points seem to get blurrier? Also, the lighting, doesn't work. It's really forced where the hand is and the lightsource is done wrong. The light comes from the lamp in the ceiling, so Light's body from where we see it should be pretty dark.

N30NSKAT3R
Yeah the blending isn't too great :/ other than that I like your idea. But the C4D's just don't fit...
