Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Doomed Days [Started/Accepting via OoC]

"Oh its OK..." The Drifloon said as he flew a little higher... watching the incident from above...

OoC: I'm gonna introduce a new character...

[i]"That's a sad story... dungeons can be so brutal... I'm lucky to live..."[/i] Jolta sobbed. Just then, he saw the Mienshao. "Oh nothing much but a Combusken attacking us in the for-" Jolta saw the Monkey Bar destroyed. "Oh my Arceus, how long were we GONE???"

Frosty thought Lukos was a nice guy. As he gave the tutorial, Frosty was ready. Although she saw a few Pokemon injured in the infirmiry, she still wasn't scared. As the tutorial ended, Frosty started to talk to Lukos. "[b]I saw Phineas at Town Square. His partner was killed. It was just so sad...[/b]" said Frosty, looking at the sky. The question he asked was still stuck in her head. Then, she turned to Lukos again. "[b]I'm ready to take on the Electric Course.[/b]" said Frosty.

Bastian bowed to the Drifloon. "[b]Thank you, sir. Have a nice day![/b]" said Bastian, and he flew away from the Drifloon. Suddenly, he realized that he had spent quite a long time outside. He'd better get back to the museum. Fast. Bastian swiftly dived to the ground, then flew like a rocket across Town Square. Eventually, he landed at the museum. Taking off the CLOSED sigb, he walked in, ready to start his job as owner, curator, and security guard.

Mariana ignored what happened around her, simply staring at her surroundings. She knew, somehow, that knowing your surroundings was a great advantage. The twon DID look peaceful, but looks could be deceiving. Anyone could be lurking in the shadows, ready to kill. Therefore, knowing all exit routes was advantageous.
The town was quaint and peaceful. The only main commotion were the Fighting Dojo, with faint cries of battle echoing in it's depths, and a few other places. A bar, for instance, was destoryed. Despite not making a noise as a broken building, it was a dint in the peaceful surroundings, founding her protective instinct. Somebody blowing up bars. Poof.
The other commotionous place was a cafe, where the owner, a Sawsbuck, was dumping a Munchlax outside. And Munchlax are known to be heavy. The ground tingled still with the force of his impact, below Mariana's feet.

Mariana was surprising herself by being so calm. Before, she was shaky, nervous and just a touch scared. Of what she could now do. But now, she simply stared at destruction like she'd seen it before. And thinking like a body guard. Very creepy considering her preious train of thought had been [I]OMG OMG OMG I'MMA VULPIX OMG![/I]
(OOC: I think I've been reading too much Artemis Fowl. Mariana is officially a weak, Pokemon version of Butler.

Phineas walked below the Drifblim. "We'd been doing adventures from young children. And I never really recovered, but Perin, my second partner, he lasted as a RESCUE partner longer, but not a friend." He looked up. "But I fulfilled the goal. All that matters. Jackson's wish has been fulfilled. Hopefully, the second goal, set by us and Perin, will last. Perin was a Chatot we brought out of the dungeon, our first. We did a few missions. Why he is my second partner. Of many. But most were one mission partners." He looked back. "These partners, they are dropping. LIKE flies."

"Don't ask me. When I came, I totally saw all this ruckus.", said Shizuko, sitting on a log. Finally, she got up and went into the ravaged bar. "One Carbos, should do", said Shizuko.

She slowly walked away from the door, with a jug of Carbos drink.

"If you don't mind, I remembered...I have to repay my debts to my old master", said Shizuko. She took a sip, and took a few steps away from Marriana and Jolta.

"FYI, if anyone wants to come, I don't care. But it's my business"

Finally, she gulped all the Carbos down, dropped the jug, and finally took a few more steps away. "Well, today's the day I at least repay my debt to Romaine", she said.

Meta slowly floated into nova town from nova forest, he was not sure what to make of his surroundings, he had lived his whole life in snowy mountains and now he's in area full of lush trees.

He felt somewhat at home when he saw the signs of a recent fight which he was familiar with, altough he had wished that the famous nova town would be a peaceful place.

Despite what his first impression was, he tried to keep his mind on his main goal "to join a rescue team".

When he floated into town he noticed a rather yellow pokemon, he wasn't quite sure what it was but decided to approach it, "[size="2"][font="Microsoft Sans Serif"]Excuse me, do you know where i could get information on rescue teams?[/font][/size]"

Butser appeared out of nowhere and placed the stolen book down infront of his leader, "Here's your book back, though I see you have multiple copies..." Buster glanced over at the other book, then rubbed the back of his head, "...Isn't it kinda unhealthy to have such an obsession over Jolta? Can't you just ignore her or something?"

Oscar nudged Draco, "Hey...Not to sund rude or anything, but weren't we meant to go on our first mission as a team? We kinda got side tracked..."

[b]BOOM![/b] Frosty managed to roll out of the way as a Voltorb literally exploded. Frosty had started the Electric Course, and it was in a set of ruins. Voltorb were virtually everywhere! At every turn, she saw at least one Voltorb, and they always just exploded, signalling more to come. And Frosty was smart enough to know that she couldn't take all thos Voltorb on at once. Getting behind a big pillar, she ran across the alleyway, and made a turn for the right. She ran forward, then took a left, then took a right. Frosty then realized that she had hit a dead end. "[b]Well this is going to be harder than I thought[/b]" said Frosty, about to run back only to find that Voltorb were rolling towards them. She was trapped. They stopped rolling and immediatly fired a ThunderShock attack. Frosty managed to get in a Double Team before she was zapped into oblivion. The clones were quickly defeated. "[b]Guess I gotta get through this on my own. Let's see how they handle my Icy Wind![/b]" said Frosty. She took a step back, and took in a breatg. Then, she released an icy breeze at the Voltorb, then, ice started flying at them. However, the Voltorb were quick, and fired a dozen ThunderShocks to match it. The two attacks exploded, but more on Frosty's side, and the pillar behind her was destroyed. "[b]Oh my Arceus![/b]" said Frosty, then quickly managed to create another volley of Double Team before the Pillar crushed her. The Voltorb rolled away as I manage to get out of the pillar's destruction path. Frosty then ran forward, across the wreckage of the pillar. Immediatly, she came across another set of ruins. And a Magnemite came flying towards her, beeping. "[b]Let's see how you take an Icy Fang[/b]!" said Frosty, and she jumped towards Magnemite, her teeth growing large and cold, like icicles. She slashed Magnemite with them, and the Magnemite was knocked back, fainted. "[b]I guess that was an easy one[/b]," said Frosty, walking past the Magnemite. Suddenly, the Magnemite rose up and floated away. It came back with a Magnezone. "[b]Ah noodles[/b]!" said Frosty as the Magnezone quickly fired a Mirror Shot. Frosty was hit, and knocked into the wall. The collision with the wall hurt more then the actual attack. She guessed that that was the effect of the Babiri berries. Getting up, she fired an Icy Wind, but the Magnezone just dodged it, and fired a ThunderBolt attack. It literally zapped Frosty so hard smoke was coming out of her from the roasting. Frosty felt dizzy and hurt. Her head hurt as if it was roasted. Wait, it was roasted. Frosty struggled to get up, and another volley of Mirror Shots knocked her back. Frosty struggled again, bruises everywhere. She felt as if whe was on fire, even if she wasnt. She saw the Magnezone fire another Mirror Shot. She didn't know what just happened next. Her feet just moved. She jumped off the wall and spun towards Magnezone. Then, her teeth grew white, and a dark aura surrounded it. It felt like Icy Fang, but not as cold. She struck the Magnezone with her powerful kaws, and knocked him into the wall. She jumped back, exhausted, then fired a Headbutt attack. She struck the Magnezone, and it was knocked back into a wall. "[b]Gosh, that was tough. Was that Crunch though? Woah![/b]" said Frosty, and she started to jump up in down in victory until the Magnezone fired a ThunderBolt, which barely hit. Frosty glared at the Magnezone and Magnemite, and, a minute later, she had the Magnemite and Magnezone a living popsicle. It wasn't a total victory, but she got tougher. Now for the hard part. She was injured, barely holding on. Frosty took a step back, then ran around the hallways. She felt better with every step.

With that, Shizuko took a hop away at high speeds to a nearby mountain pass. Mt. Travail was the destination. Shizuko gracefully leaped tree to tree at acceptable speeds until the dungeon was reached. Finally, after dealing with several Drowzee, Tyrogue, and Makuhita, she finally reaches the peak.

In an alcove, there were lots of cylindrical rocks. Several sacks of sand laid about, either twisted, or broken apart. Several pots of dead plants laid about, while there were incenses coming out as smoke, giving it a serene surrounding. Finally, with a leap, Shizuko finally reaches to the alcove. She bents over on her knee, and bows as a sign of respect.

"Master Romaine, I am back to repay my condolences.", she says.

Soon an old Conkeldurr appears with a cylinder rock as a cane.

"Shizuko, you finally returned, I guess? Please, sit and I'll prepare tea", he says, heading back in the den.

After some tea, the two sat down and began their discussion. "So, I guess Blade is still out there, right?", said Romaine, sipping a cup of tea.
Shizuko nodded.

"Yes. I still won't forgive him. I believe he's still an outlaw, right?", said Shizuko.
"Uh-huh. Apparently ever since he killed his own clan leader, I bet he is on a rampage. I don't know, but previous exploration teams could never defeat him", said Romaine. "When people hear of him, there's a big fear around. If they are dared to take him down, they'd decline. Blade has blood all over him for years. even some of the most expert exploration teams cannot bring him to justice".

"Sigh. It is a problem alright.", said Shizuko, sipping more tea. "Anyways, thanks for everything, including that day. I've decided, to become an expert solo explorer, so I can dispatch justice all over"

"Well, I'll leave it up to you to do whatever you want. After all, I heard legends like Magnet Rise Jolta are appearing.", said Romaine.

[Jolta]

"Well, these books are basically information about my respective foes.Th Jolta's in all of 'em, being my worst enemy... OK, lets see... most recent..." Volcarona flipped a buncha pages in one of the blue-coloured book. "This Mienshao... she used an Aura Sphere to blast me outta the bar. Well, this Mienshao's a potential threat. Like Jolta."

The Drifloon heard the conversation as his tears fell on the Absol's head, due to the sad story.

"Huh? Oh. A Metang." Jolta was stunned. "Well, looks like a good time I can show some newbies the Bulletin Board. There's a buncha FAQs and mission requests." Jolta looked at Mariana, Rachel and the Metang. "Well, looks like its time to go to the Bulletin Board..." Jolta started walking.

Shizuko, after a voyage away from Mt. Travail, finally reached the town. In a bulletin board, posted in the center of the town, had lots of missions and outlaws. Some where at level D type missions, while some where at A's. Shizuko looked at the board where other pokemon were looking, whom where young explorers. On the top right corner, was a poster of a Bisharp. It was at a *6 level outlaw.

"I can't believe he's here too....", said Shizuko, quickly looking away." "Sometimes being the team of one isn't really much entertaining."

Suddenly a Jolteon, and Vulpix approached the board. They were looking at the mission posters. A Metang and Driffloon were looking away, from the two.

"Hey, haven;t I seen you two before?", she said.

Half an hour later, Frosty suddenly woke up on a soft bed. Her head hurt, and she felt barbequed. Looking around, she saw that she was in the infirmary that was in the Dojo. "[b]Ugh, what happened?[/b]" she muttered to herself, but the memory quickly came back to her. She had started to run away from the frozen Magnezone, and it had thawed itself out, and it soon found me. She remembered a Thunder coming her way, and everything was a blur from then. But she did know that she hadnt completed the Electric Course, but had learned Crunch. If she kept going like this, she could be a strong team leader. Trying to get up, she found that her back hurt way too much to get up. Her foot also didn't seem too move. Suddenly, Frosty realized it: The Thunder attack had paralyzed her foot.

Luke came down the mountain, hoping to find someone who was suitable for his Exploration Team, Team Crush. You had to be pretty tough, and had to have certain stat levels. He went down the moiuntain, and saw a motherly looking Donpha running up the mountain, chasing Gengar holding an Egg. He checked her stats, aand sure enough, they were high enough. He decided to help her, and gai her trust. As Jessica ran up the mountain, she saw a Snorlax. "Hey! A little help here!" The Donphan looks good enough, thought Luke, and Jessica the same. " Snorlax intercepted the Gengar, and used Metrenome. The attack turned into Flamethrower, and burned the Gengar. He used it again, but got growl, intead. "Now! To finish it off. Go!" Snorlax used crunch, combied with... Phsychic? (OOC: Replace Rest) It knocked the Pokemon out, and Jessica ran up to Luke, and grabbed the egg of the gorund. "Hey, I don't mean to sound random, but do you want to join my rescue team?" Luke said, feeling nervous. Jessica thought a moment, and replied "Sure. Why not? What's the name?" Jessica inquired. "Team Crutsh. I think we should train at the Dojo, down at town." The two walked down the mountain side, and when they looked aroud, they saw the destroyed Monkey Bar, but walked into the dojo. "Oh honarable Lukos, we wish to challenge the Fire Type leader." Luke was feeling cocky, and so was Jessica, as they waited for a reply.

Frosty tried. She really did. She got onto her left leg and held her paralyzed leg. She couldn't stop here. Just a Cheri Berry could heal her. She was ready for another go at the Dojo, only maybe a different course. Not the Fighting course or the Fire course. She leaned on her bed as she thought. "Not Steel either. Poison isnt the way to go. Rock would mean trouble. Normal and Bug is too basic. Psychic and Dark would be way too much. There would be no way I could get past the Dragon. Ghosts could easily scare me. So that left Flying, Ground, Grass and Water. She may drown in Water. And she would have a disadvantage to Flying-types. And she had enough of Grass-types after getting lost in Nova Forest. So that meant she would try the Ground course. My Icy Wind could probably "freeze" through it. Heh, bad pun..." she quickly thought. She struggled to get back up, then limped over to the cabinet nearby. Opening it, she saw multiple potions. She then limped over to another cabinet, and opened it. There were multiple berries in it. "[b]Great![/b]" she said, and she had her other arm that wasnt supporting her paralyzed leg grab a red berry that was the Cheri Berry. Putting it in her mouth, she felt that it was very spicy and soft. Swalloing the spicy berry, her leg started to feel numb. She let go of her other arm. Her paralyzed leg hit the floor, and she got up, not paralyzed. She still felt hurt, so she took in a couple of Oran Berries as well. Her head felt dizzy, but otherwise, she was ready. Walking out of the infirmary, she saw a Donphan and a Snorlax talking to Lukos. Walking towards him again, she started to speak. "[b]Hello Lukos. I'm ready to try again. I think I'll try the Ground course though.[/b]" she said eagerly. Nothing was going to stop her this time.

Bleeder silently walked through town square, without any clear destination in sight. The Elekid walked past the bar where Volcarona and Buster were talking to each other...

"Isn't it...Weird to keep a journal with images of your enemies in them? To me, that's-" Buster suddenly fell silent, turning in the direction of Bleeder. "That Elekid..." Buster swore he could remember him from somewhere, but he didn't know where, he then remembered where he had seen him before. Buster dashed towards Bleeder and struck him with a Crush Claw, sending the Elekid to the ground...

...Bleeder was winded by the Crush Claw, and had no time to recover before Buster's claws pinned him to the floor. Buster forced more pressure onto the electric type, before lifting him up and throwing him into the Bar...

Frosty had just started the Ground course. For a course, it was easier than the Electric for her, because Ice-type attacks were super effective against Ground-types. She had only seen a couple of Phanpys, but she managed to grab them with Icy Fang and freeze them with Icy Wind. True, one was able to hit her with a powerful Rollout attack, but otherwise, she was doing okay. The Ground-course was in a rocky cave, but she didn't really mind. She walked down the rocky path and made a turn for the left, and a Diglett suddenly popped out, knocking her into the air. She landed on her back, and she got up and immediatly fired an Icy Wind at the Diglett, freezing it before it could retreat. Panting, she ran down the alleyway and made a right turn, then ran down the path and made a left. Upon turning, she was almost out of breath, and she suddenly saw a Donphan, using Rollout on a nearby Piloswine. The Piloswine seemed to be a challenger, because she had not seen any Piloswine, Swinub, or Mamoswine yet. However, she had seen Phanpy, so she took a deep breath and released Icy Wind on the Donphan to help the Piloswine out. She saw her look at me through the hairy eyes, and the Donphan stopped rolling against the Piloswine and rolled straight towards her. Almost paralyzed by fear, she stood there, trying to create Icy Fang, but the attack never came. The Piloswine suddenly struck the Donphan from the side with a Take Down. The Donphan was knocked into the stone wall, fainted. "[b]Huh...Huh...Thank you,[/b]" said Frosty, almost out of breath. "[b]Dont thank me, thank you for distracting the Donphan,[/b]" said the Piloswine. I looked at her, and said, "[b]I'm Frosty. I just started a rescue team called Team Icy Wind,[/b]" said Frosty, looking at her. "[b]I'm Kiba. I've been looking for a rescue team to join. Do you mind if I-[/b]" started Kiba the Piloswine, and I stopped her. She semed like a good Pokemon. "[b]...Join my team? Of course you can, but there is one exception,[/b]" said Frosty as Kiba nodded her head. "[b]What is it?[/b]" asked Kiba, confused. "[b]You have to defeat me in a batte if you want to join![/b]" said Frosty, and Kiba looked shocked, but she nodded, starting there match, even if they were in a cave. About a minute later, she was on the ground, having been hit by a Take Down and Fury Attack (To Kiba's reluctantcy). "[b]Okay, you win. Welcome to the tram, Kiba,[/b]" she said, getting back up with the support of Kiba. After a few minutes, they were on the road again, and Frosty was pretty happy with herself. Then, another Donphan came rolling in with a Bulldoze attack. She looked at Kiba. Kiba looked at her. Both Pokemon suddenly fired an Icy Wind, freezing the Donphan in his tracks. They could be some good team members.

When they walked into the Arena, they saw a large shadow. "Umm, sir, or miss, we wish to battle you." The shadow turned around and revieled an Emboar! The Emboar charged at Luke, about to use Arm Thrust, when Luke countered with Metrenome. It turned out to be Ice Beam, which hit the floor and sent Emboar crashing into a wall. Then, Jessica used Defense curl, then Rollout, Hurting Emboar only normally, and when Jessica came back around, Emboar was waiting. Luke noticed, and used Heavy slam to send him flying back towards Jessica. Emboar, clearly dazed, got up, and fell back down, its eyes spirals. The team walked back outside, and went to the notice board, and "noticed" an outlaw, the same Seviper that had eaten Jessica's eggs. She turned to Luke and said, "We kneed to take him out, but first, we have to find some other people to join our team. The team walked off, looking for someone to join their team.

[Jolta]

"Of course you have," Jolta replied to the Mienshao. "just briefing these newbies on what we do best - missions."

"Oooh a fight. I don't think I should interfere..." Volcarona said. Suddenly, a strong, powerful shockwave struck all three people in the area, but it didn't affect the Elekid for obvious reasons.

"A Discharge?" Volcarona looked behind. "Its a little Joltik. Well, why not have a taste of Hurri-"
"Electro Web!"
Volcarona was spluttered in an electrical web made by the Joltik. With a Quiver Dance, she broke out.

"Its not right to hurt others, especially randomly!" the 'busybodied' Joltik kept firing Electro Webs at Buster. "Sorry lil' fella," the Joltik very sorrily apologised to the Elekid.

Until Volcarona performed Fiery Dance, roasting him.
"Ugh! You're strong for a Volcarona."
"Nope," Volcarona replied, "I'm strong [i]even[/i] for a Volcarona."

"I see", said Shizuko. "You were that pokemon that knew Magnet Rise. It's quite rare for one to know that move".

Shizuko looked at the rest of the outlaws. ON the other side were mission, ranked E-7*.

"Well, what has been recently going on with you guys? And what team are you with?", said Shizuko, wondering. " Ibet-"

And then she was interrupted by a nearby sight. On her right side, was a little hut where shokeepers sold their goods. Behind it was a Pawniard. It was constantly sneaking around, without being seen by the crowd.


"Excuse me for a moment", she said. She walked over to the hut and began charging an Aura Sphere.
