James smiled at her, a wicked and evil looking grin, and said, "You shouldn't make threats you can't keep, because that threat of beating me is about to go to waste when I beat you."

Naomi looked over to where Emily was standing and said to her, "You know I wouldn't let you do that, because Ruga loves this place and loves working here, and even if he left, that wouldn't make us have an even social status. And I already said that in a few years I will be too busy to love anyone, when I am running Speed Wheel, after all, a Multi-Million company doesn't run itself."

Emily chuckles. [color="#8B0000"]"Who said he needed to leave forever? And who says he can't help you when you take over Speed Wheel? I've heard he used to make Duel Runner designs. Hell, he designed a majority of the Duel Runners we use here. I'll leave you now."[/color] Emily leaves.

Ruga rubs his chin. [color="#800080"]"Seems like she wants me gone. I wonder..."[/color] He looks over at Naomi. [color="#800080"]"What do you think she has in mind?"[/color] He looks down.

Canis looks over and snickers.

Ruga shakes his head. [color="#800080"]"We should investigate what's happening here."[/color] He looks at Naomi, waiting for an answer.

Canis watches Emilia's and Jame's duel, Rasca his hawk size on her shoulder. He goes on her lap and she rubs his head.

Mizu smiled at Jess. [color=#00FFFF]"You know, it's rather convenient for you to have such a wonderful device. A bit too convenient, in fact."[/color] She looked Jess in the eyes, even through bearing the pain. [color=#00FFFF]"I need to know if I can trust you, because the number of people I can trust seems to be in short supply around here."[/color] She slowly got up, walked over, and reclined on Jess' bed, next to the other girl. [color=#00FFFF]"So are you one of the people who wishes to save this school, or do you want to destroy it?"[/color] Mizu neglected to mention that she already knew the answer due to her heart-reading skill, but she wanted to hear it from her roommate's mouth.

"This place is more my home then my parents house and I want to keep it that way. This is the only place that I have had lots of friends, and people who actually look after me and help me, before coming here the only person who would help me was my sister. I want to keep this place around and have it survive. And I actually do keep these tablets around on me all the time, just in case I am ever hurt and need them." Jess lay back on her bed, looking at the ceiling and watching the fan turn, wondering why her roomate was questioning her motives like such.

"Yes, we should." That was all Naomi said, looking out the window towards the giant again.

[Spell Master]

While the Note Blue Student began bragging about how victory was his, Emilia smiled and said, "[color="#FF00FF"]You never know until you give it a try[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]I draw[/color]! [color="#FF00FF"]At the start of my turn my Master Mech Buddha comes back from the Graveyard[/color]!" While drawing her next card, she looks at it and says, "[color="#FF00FF"]I activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 more cards[/color]!" Drawing another two cards, Emilia looks at the three cards in her hand. She takes one of them and says, "[color="#FF00FF"]Now your in for it, I activate my Spell card Giant Trunade[/color]! [color="#FF00FF"]This card returns all Spells and Trap cards back to the owners hand[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]And if I'm not mistaken, your monster then gets destroyed because the lack of a field spell[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]Now[/color]! [b][color="#FF00FF"]Master Mech Buddha[/color][/b]!! [b][color="#FF00FF"]ATTACK[/color][/b]!!!! [color="#FF00FF"]Wipe out all of his Life Point[/color]s!!! [b][color="#FF00FF"]DIVINE BLADES OF GLORY[/color][/b]!!!!" Declaring her attack, Emilia's monster took all six of it's arms and each weapon with it and struck downwards at the Note Blue Student. As an explosion occurred, Emilia thought to herself,[b] did it work[/b]?

Ruga wraps his arms around Naomi and kisses her cheek. [color="#800080"]"At least we admitted our feelings."[/color] He leaves and snickers.

Canis smiles and walks up to Ruga. She pulls Ruga away from Giant mark and turns on her Duel Disk and her mark and Deck flashes. [color="#FF0000"]"So, you will duel me? You will fall before me!"[/color] She draws her hand and the Condor Mark appears around her and Ruga as he draws his hand. She looks over at main building. [color="#FF0000"]"She can watch your dueling demise!"[/color]

Ruga looks over. He looks back and shakes his head. [color="#800080"]"You'll lose."[/color] He sneers as Canis snickers and looks at her hand as she draws another card.

Emily leans on a wall in Ruga's office. [color="#8B0000"]"So we have two Dark Signers? Interesting!"[/color] She snickers and closes door and locks doorway and hides key in her dress.

[Reinforce]

"I was hoping not to use this card, I activate Waboku in response to your Giant Trunade, and while the Earthbound Immortal is destroyed by the lack of field spell. due to Waboku, which is returned to my hand thanks to Giant Trunade, I will take no battle damage this turn, and the only damage I will take is the damage from your Trap Gatler spell card. Sorry to put a stopper in your plans but I am about to lose my Earthbound Immortal so I think I deserve to stop to your plans for this turn." James looked annoyed now, because of the ease in which Emilia had destroyed his Earthbound Immortal, by just returning his field spell to his hand instead of destroying the Earthbound Immortal through one of her spells effects.

Naomi walked to the door and tried to open it,annoyed that Emily had locked her in the room. She then walked over to the window, and using a handheld version of the screens of the duel runners, started using it to watch the duel that was about to start below.

Mizu continued to look at Jess seriously until she finally relented, taking the pill. She smiled and closed her eyes, resting against Jess. [color=#00FFFF]"I believe you."[/color] Mizu told Jess. [color=#00FFFF]"This is going to sound strange, but I need you to keep this a secret. I am not from this world, or even this universe. I travel between parallel universes, helping out people, or I'm supposed to do that once I complete my final test. My mother, the one who raised me, sent me here to stop an ancient evil that was never supposed to rise again from doing just that. If I help the students in this fight against these monsters, and win, then I will pass, and I will be able to travel the multiverse on my own."[/color]

[Spell Master]

"[color="#FF00FF"]Well, I figured it wouldn't work but[/color]...[color="#FF00FF"]at least I gave it a shot[/color]". Emilia says out loud. She looks back at the three cards left in her hand and she continues, "[color="#FF00FF"]Now I'll just summon my Chi Defender in defense mode[/color]. [color="#FF00FF"]I'll End my turn by replaying Trap Gatler. Which means that my master Mech Buddha returns to the Graveyard[/color]." While she put her monster in the graveyard, she began to feel very light headed and couldn't really stand up straight. Holding her self up some how while rubbing her eyes to see better, she says to herself, [b]I have to stay awake[/b]. [b]I[/b]...[b]I can't give up now[/b].

Canis draws and snickers. [color="#FF0000"]"I use Cyber Space!"[/color] Canis and Ruga are surrounded by blackness and suddenly, pillars of 1s and 0s appear everywhere. [color="#FF0000"]"Now all of my Psychic Monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF! And I when I am supposed to lose Life Points in any way besides battle, I will gain them instead! Now I use Field Barrier. I will summon Krebons."[/color] She snickers and shakes her head. [color="#FF0000"]"Now I will place 1 card face-down and your move."[/color] Ruga draws and sneers. [color="#800080"]"I use Future Fusion! I send Masked Dragon, Victory Dragon, Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon, both of my Rainbow Dragons and both of my Malefic Rainbow Dragons from my Deck. Now I will remove Stardust Dragon from my Extra Deck and Special Summon Malefic Stardust Dragon! Now, blast Krebons!"[/color] [color="#FF0000"]"I use Krebon's effect! Normally, I would pay 800 Life Points, but now I shall gain 800 Life Points as Krebons negates your attack!"[/color] Krebons dances around as Malefic Stardust Dragon's beam is blocked by a barrier of brainwaves from Krebon's hands. [color="#800080"]"I'll place a card face-down and end."[/color]

Emily snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"So?"[/color]

[Reinforce]

"Fine, I will duel you then Emily, but realise this, you haven't seen the full potential of my deck yet, all you have seen is Red Dragon Archfiend and Red Nova Dragon. I get to go first as well again, Draw. I place two cards face down and end my turn without doing anything much again." Naomi looked at her hand, a decent hand in her opinion, before looking over to her opponent, waiting for her to go.

"My turn then, Draw." James looked at the new card in interest, before turning to his opponent. "I set Spirit Barrier and Waboku back on the field again, and end my turn." James was waiting for his opponents turn now, confident that he could counter whatever she came up with. "I will just let you know now though, duing the draw phase I will activate Spirit Barrier again, at the cost of my life points but not do anything else."

"So basically you are telling me that you are from another universe, sent presumably to stop the rise of the Earthbound Immortals, and if you succeed in that then you will become a full Multiverse Traveler. Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds, but you have given my no reason to doubt you so I will believe that." Jess had sat back up in suprise at Mizu's explination, before turning to her and asking. "So is that where the magic you did before came from, some powers from another world, sorry, another Universe."

Mizu glanced over at the bag before looking back at Jess. [color=#00FFFF]"I am trained in some spellcasting, thanks to my aunt, but its mainly just for defensive purposes and for healing. That bag, however, is dimensionally transcendental, meaning that it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. I use that bag just in case I need anything whenever I travel. However, I pulled the bag from subspace, which is a whole other kettle of fish altogether. Subspace, or folded space, is the result of interdimensional travel, being the place where the loose change in your couch or the small objects under your bed end up. Here, my mom's organization, Neighborhood Watch, stores all kinds of weapons and gear."[/color]

"That just confused me, I don't really understand those concepts. I am just better at dueling then understanding science so you don't need to explain them too me then. Can you teach me some of the spellcasting though, the healing please, because I can already use my duel monsters to defend me." Jess was excited now, healing magic was something that she could use to help those who were injured, but physics, and the universe just confused her, unlike medicine, which she had a clear understanding of.

Mizu was rather hesitant. She finally spoke up. [color=#00FFFF]"I don't know, Jess. No offense, but you do not seem to have much magical potential. I could try, but I am not very good at teaching. I am very sorry."[/color] She moved a bit closer to Jess, the two now lying next to each other. [color=#00FFFF]"Do you mind if I lie here, with you? Because I do not want to be intruding into your personal space."[/color] Blushing, she adds. [color=#00FFFF]"The only person I have ever shared a room with was my mother, and she let me cuddle with her, so I am not exactly sure on the proper protocol here."[/color]

"Well I don't mind you lying next to me, but I am not really the proper person to ask about proper protocol. After all, I have never had to share a room with anyone before, even last year at the academy I was the only girl without a roomate in Note Blue. If only I had a normal family and a normal life, at least I have a good deck though and didn't have to worry about the cost of some of the cards." Jess watched the fan spin again, content to just lie there with her roomate next to her, before turning and saying, "I don't really mind not learning the magic either, I was just hopeful if I could, don't worry about that request."

Mizu watched the fan spin with her new roommate. It was rather relaxing to watch it continuously rotate over and over again. She rested her head against Jess' chest, and then realized something. She looked up at her roommate. [color=#00FFFF]"I know we barely know each other, but do you mind if we become friends? Obviously, I do not have any friends in this dimension, except for that mysterious white-cloaked woman, but I don't think she counts. You see, I can read peoples' hearts, and your heart says that you are a kind and caring person, even though you are rather shut-in. I asked you that question earlier to test your trustworthiness, since I already knew what you would say, and I apologize for that as well."[/color]

Emily draws. [color="#8B0000"]"And you have never seen any of my new cards before. No one has!"[/color] She snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"I use Black Scale Soul! All Spell and Traps are destroyed and I can Special Summon a Dragon Emperor or Dragon Empress from my hand or Deck! So, from my Deck, arise, Qwarrcall - Dragon Emperor! Oh, and don't think your face-downs will save you! Black Scale Soul can't be negated!"[/color] A purple dragon appears as Naomi's facedowns become green spheres and are absorbed into the dragon. [color="#8B0000"]"Now I use his effect! Since I summoned him, I can Special Summon 2 Dragon Empress Monsters! So come! Nao - Beating Dragon Empress and Waoli - Breaker Dragon Empress!"[/color] The purple dragon's eyes flash and he slams his claws down, making 2 den-like holes, where a dragoness crawls from each one. [color="#8B0000"]"Now I shall summon Mistress in Love!"[/color] A young woman who is around her mid-20s appears between Qwarrcall and Nao. [color="#8B0000"]"Such a wonderful tale. Two dragons in love. Oh, such deep love! But no one will accept their love... How sad."[/color] She snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"Now, I shall place 2 cards face-down and my Monsters will attack you directly and finish this duel!"[/color] Mistress in Love cracks a whip which slaps Naomi and Qwarrcall whacks Naomi with his tail. Nao fires a beam of black fire at Naomi and Waoli fires a beam of purple hearts at Naomi. [color="#8B0000"]"I'll spare you so you can think."[/color] Emily unlocks door and leaves as fire dies down and holograms disappear.

Canis draws and snickers. [color="#FF0000"]"I summon Pandaborg! Now I shall Synchro Summon! Come! Psychic Nightmare!"[/color] Her Monster appears and roars. [color="#800080"]"I use Bottomless Trap Hole!"[/color] [color="#FF0000"]"WHAT!?"[/color] She looks away as Psychic Nightmare falls in a purple pit. [color="#FF0000"]"I shall place a card face-down and end."[/color]

Ruga draws and smiles. [color="#800080"]"I place a card face-down and use another Future Fusion! Now i'll send a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and a Red-Eyes Black Dragon! Now, I will summon Dread Dragon! From bones of Darkness and bones of Fire! Show me what you most desire! Arise! Dragobie King!"[/color] A pillar of fire and a pillar of darkness appear and merge and Dragobie breaks both pillars from inside with his wings. [color="#800080"]"Go!"[/color] Dragobie fires a beam of darkness and fire at Canis. [color="#FF0000"]"OW!"[/color] Ruga chuckles. [color="#800080"]"Your move!"[/color]

All three attacks came towards Naomi, but all three attacks vanished as Waboku appeared, chained to Black Scale Soul. "Sorry but you cannot do any damage to me this turn, and if you stop dueling then it will count as a forfeit, and you will automatically lose. Too bad you couldn't stop my card either."

Jess turned on her side to look at Mizu, "I am fine with being friends, infact I would enjoy that, and don't feel bad about looking into my heart either, I have nothing to hide after all." Looking back at the fan now, she asked Mizu, "Have you ever thought about why you want to join Neibourhood Watch, aside from following in your mother's footsteps?"

Emily sneers. [color="#8B0000"]"Fine. You will force me to snow you another piece of the story! I place 3 cards face-down. Past, Present, Future."[/color] She snickers as her 3 cards appear. [color="#8B0000"]"And i'll place one more card face-down to see deeper and end my turn."[/color] She rubs her head, curious and cautious. [i][color="#8B0000"]"She is powerful, I wonder how this reading will play... By the cards, she may not believe her readings... She'll see..."[/color][/i]

She has saved the multiverse countless times, and there is no way I can follow in her footsteps, so I have decided to simply find what I need to do in this multiverse. There is a place out there where I belong, and I hope to find that niche where I fit. It's not a perfect plan, nor is there any way I can easily find that place I am looking for, but I figure I'll have a lot of adventures along the way. If Mom needs help, I would be more than happy to aid her, and if it turns out my place is to be my mother's successor, then I will make her proud by taking her place. That is my duty, like it is my duty to vanquish evil."[/color]

"You managed to nearly destroy my field, so I will destroy yours now, I activate Heavy Storm to destroy all spells and traps on the field. Next I Special Summon Vice Dragon and normal summon Clock Resonator. I am going to tune my Vice Dragon with my Clock Resonator, to synchro summon Red Dragon Archfiend to the Field. Next I activate the effect of Creation Resonator from my hand, and summon him because there is a level 8 or higher synchro monster on the field. Finally I activate Card of Demise from my hand, now my hand returns to 5 cards and I can activate Double Summon and summon Barrier Resonator to the field. I will now tune my Red Dragon Archfiend with Creation Resonator and Barrier Resonator to summon Red Nova Dragon to the field. Red Nova Dragon attacks Qwarrcall - Dragon Emperor, because with three tuner monsters in my graveyard, he gains 1500 ATK points. Go, attack with Red Nova Stream." Naomi watched as her Red Nova Dragon attacked Emily's Dragon Emperor, waiting to see if she could pull out some protection for him.

"I am sure you will find some place where you fit in the Multiverse, all you have to do is find it." Jess grabbed out her deck then, "Since we are starting to get to know each other, how about a duel, to get to know each other better."

Emily snickers as Noami uses Heavy Storm. [color="#8B0000"]"I knew you would. So I chain by showing you your future! Perfect Love! My cards are safe. And now we discard any and all Heavy Storms in our hands and Decks."[/color] As Red Nova Dragon fires a beam, she nods slowly. [color="#8B0000"]"Now I shall show you your deeper future! Sacrificial Barrier! Now none of my Monsters can be destroyed and I take no damage from any battle!"[/color] Qwarrcall is encased in a heart which absorbs Red Nova's beam. [color="#8B0000"]"Really now. Can you deny your reading?"[/color] She crosses her arms. [color="#8B0000"]"Or do you need more?"[/color] She giggles. [color="#8B0000"]"Seems like your future is very well lit, Naomi. You'll find love and this person will make a sacrifice which will 'seal the deal'! You're a very lucky woman. Not many girls receive a Dueling Fortune such as this."[/color] She snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"Before we go any further, how do you feel about this? And have you noticed anything about my Monsters' names?"[/color] She snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"Qwarrcall. Nao. Breaker. Love. Odd, huh? Well, my dear Naomi, cards never lie. So, finish your move so we may keep reading."[/color]

Canis draws and sneers. [color="#FF0000"]"I summon another Krebons. Your move."[/color]

Ruga draws and snickers. [color="#800080"]"Been 2 turns since my first Spell was used."[/color] He places his hands together. [color="#800080"]"Serpent of fire. Serpent of blood. Your eight heads shall kill the enemy brood. Your horns of gold shall impale like a spire. Arise! Orochi Neo!"[/color] His Monster appears and roars. [color="#800080"]"I use Change of Heart!"[/color] Krebons jumps over and is besides Ruga. [color="#800080"]"Everyone! Finish her!"[/color] All of his Monsters attack and make Canis fall over as they disappear. Rasca appears and holds Canis close. [color="#800080"]"Hm? He is... Caring? Odd..."[/color] He walks over and tries to open his door. [color="#800080"]"Okay, what's the big idea here, Naomi!? Why did you lock me out?!"[/color]

"You should be asking Emily that, not me, she was the one who locked the door. After all, I don't have a key to the door to lock or unlock it. Anyway, it is the end of my turn so I set two cards face down and end my turn. By the way, I don't believe in predicting the future, especially not through duels and yugioh cards, so before you try to tell me my future, how about you someone who believes in it and duel them instead." Naomi looked confident, knowing that she could protect her monster with the card in her hand and with the cards on the field, regardless of what her opponent used.

Emily snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"Tellers have different ways of telling futures."[/color] She draws. [i][color="#8B0000"]So hard to crack![/color][/i] She sneers. [color="#8B0000"]"I rid myself of my Mistress and summon Rouge Dragon - Frez'ka. Now I use his effect, freezing Red Nova. Now he can't attack or change position! And his effects are negated! Now, let's see if my next face-down, which represents Present, shows."[/color] She snickers and uses her face-down. [color="#8B0000"]"I use Unsure Balance! Now, neither of us can have more Monsters than each other. And since I had more Monsters when my card was used, every card on the field is destroyed!"[/color] She snickers as a black scale appears and crushes both fields. [color="#8B0000"]"Now I shall use Qwarrcall's effect! Since he was destroyed, I can Special Summon 2 Rouge Dragons from my hand, Deck, or my Graveyard!"[/color] She looks over as 2 eggs appear and crack. [color="#8B0000"]"Come, Rouge Dragon Frez'ka and Rouge Dragon Samek!"[/color] The eggs break and Frez'ka and Samek appear. [color="#8B0000"]"Now, burn!"[/color] Both of Emily's Monsters rear up and fire beams of energy at Naomi.

Ruga rolls eyes and unlocks door.

Emily looks over. [color="#8B0000"]"Hmph. Lousy lizard!"[/color] She removes Deck from her Duel Disk and throws cards up as she disappears in a ball of fire.

"So easy to predict, I activate Bottomless Trap Hole, meaning you never get to use his effect as he is removed from play. Sorry to disapoint you but even with Unsure Balance, Red Nova Dragon remains because he cannot be destroyed by card effects. Also, when you try to summon your dragons, I discard D.D. Crow to remove your Rogue Dragon - Frez'ka from the graveyard, meaning you only get the other Rogue Dragon. Sorry to disapoint you but Red Nova Dragon remains on the field, and you only get one of your Rogue Dragons in response to your cards. Now end your turn or forfeit because next turn I will still have Red Nova Dragon to attack your monsters with." Naomi was smiling, happy to have stuffed up Emily's plans so effectively, without any way of her stopping them from working.
