And since he is in Attack Mode, your effect won't work on him."[/color] He snickers and looks at Emily and nods. [color="#006400"]"You done?"[/color] [color="#006400"]7200[/color]

Ruga chuckles. [color="#800080"]"This will be good."[/color] He looks at Naomi and nods.

Emily snickers and looks at her hand. She checks her face-downs and yawns.

Darkheart drew the card he needed. "I activate Pot of pure greed. Now, if i have 5 or more cards in my grave, then i draw three cards." He drew the three cards. "Get ready i lose, i activate Heavy Storm, so all spells and traps are destroyed, and then i activate My second and last Rageki, to wipe out your monsters, then i activate THE LUCIFER CASTLE!! By removing from play my entire hand, i summon Dark Lucifer of the evil zones, and then attack you directly with all of my monsters, to end this duel." His opponent's LP dropped to zero.

"Since you have me stopped for this turn, I might place one face down card and end my turn." Naomi looked at her hand, still with a lot of cards in it smiled at her opponents, confident that they wouldn't be her opponents for more than a few more turns.

James was getting bored, Mizu was doing nothing other than staring at him and watching him, not doing anything else so he turned, and started to walk away, confident that if she wanted to duel she would stop him from leaving.

Mizu stared at her new opponent for a few moments with a strange look on her face before asking him. [color=#00FFFF]"Why?"[/color] She then elaborated. [color=#00FFFF]"Why should I duel you? I have already proven that I am as good as one of these Thunder Gold people. Why should I have to prove myself to you?"[/color] She pressed a button, and her Duel Disk disengaged, turning back into a buckler and a sword. She attached the buckler portion to her right side, while her sword was sheathed in a scabbard on her left, before placing her deck in a deck box next to her strapped buckler. [color=#00FFFF]"Give me a good reason why I should duel you, and saying I am a coward, or some variation of that, is not the correct answer. It's not like anyone has ever refused to duel before, right?"[/color]

"You should duel me because, unlike you previous opponent, I am not as weak as your previous opponent, nor for that matter am I from Thunder Gold at all. I am from Note Blue, the highest of the dorms and am one of the stronger Note Blue students at that." James knew he could sound arrogant at times but if it managed to convince this dismissive woman to duel him so he could put her in her place, he figured it was worth it. "Anyway, while you are right and there have been times when a duel has been refused, it is rare and anyway, I am not calling you a coward, and if you didn't want to duel at all you would have just let me walk away and not stopped me from leaving."

Mizu, however, was not convinced. [color=#00FFFF]"So you simply see me, a fellow Note Blue student, as an obstacle to be removed? Another name to add to the list of those you have defeated? Someone else you need to put in their place to prove that you are the best? Then I wholeheartedly refuse to duel you. My previous opponent was chosen for me by the teachers. I had no control over my duel with him, something that I hate. In a duel, the duelists should place their hearts in the battle, wanting to go at each other not for any gain in stature or power, but simply because they are passionate about dueling. I see no such burning passion in your eyes, only battlelust. Now, if you excuse me, I need to go apologize to him for publicly humiliating him, and request a duel under more favorable conditions."[/color]

Her words managed to stop his bloodlust, but instead gave new fire to a much deeper and darker rage inside him, a deep hatred of those who just dismissed him and treated him like he was nothing but dirt. "You, a woman who hates not controlling who you duel is that which I hate the most, a duelist who both prattles on about passion in duels and dismisses those you see as beneath you. Mizu, your name is water, and like water you believe that you can flow away from those things that seek to disrupt your control and ignore them but sooner or later, all water flow is stopped for new ones to emerge and so will you have to accept that which you can't control or be discarded like an old card for losing your usefullness without any hope of gaining a new purpose." With that, James turned and walked away, barely controlling the rage that had been re-lit inside him. Next to him, a duel spirit appeared, Infernity Death Gunman, and turned to speak to her, "Hey lady, if you can hear me than I recomend you stay away from James if possible cause you managed to stir his oldest and deepest anger and if he runs into you before it can calm down again than it will emerge way stronger than the bloodlust you saw before. Hell, if that happens then I'm going to stay away and avoid being here until enough time has passed for it to calm down fully, for that rage scares even me. If he gets into that state then he is completely unable to be reasoned with and very liable to be completely consumed with rage for a while and believe me, it has happened before. But good day to you madam and I will see you around but unless you can see me than you won't see me around." Infernity Death Gunman turned to walk away and follow his human away.

Croccie leaves the dorm and walks around campus, his hands behind his back and his Duel Disk on his arm. [color="#4169E1"]"Such a boring day."[/color]

Canis tumbles backwards and a large purple and red dragon appears behind her and catches her before she falls off the arena. [color="#FF0000"]"Thanks Idoun."[/color] It safely places her on ground and disappears in her Deck. She removes it and looks at it as she leaves. [color="#FF0000"]"All I needed was 3 turns. And I could have won."[/color] She sneers. [color="#FF0000"]"I may have already made a rival."[/color]

Jane places Cross-Sword Beetle on her shoulder and leaves. She looks at her Duel Spirit as it chitters. [color="#808000"]"Oh? Honestly, I forgot why me and Xeno hate each other. All I do know is that it happened long ago. Possibly around 5 or 6 years."[/color] Cross-Sword Beetle chitters more. [color="#808000"]"Yeah. Maybe I should let it go and ask her to be friends."[/color]

Loi draws a card and snickers. [color="#006400"]"I use Pot of Greed!"[/color] Two cards are shot in his hand from pot. [color="#006400"]"Now I will use Monster Reborn! Bringing my Y-Dragon Head back! Now I will summon Z-Metal Tank! Now I will remove all 3 of them from play to Fusion Summon XYZ-Dragon Cannon!"[/color] X-Head Cannon spins as Y-Dragon Head's legs and wings disappear. X-Head Cannon latches onto Y-Dragon Head, who latches to Z-Metal Tank. [color="#006400"]"Now, I will use his ability! By discarding a card from my hand, I can destroy 1 card you control. So, I will discard V-Tiger Jet from my hand and destroy your face-down! And he has no limits, so I can use it again! I discard W-Wing Catapult from my hand and destroy your Red Dragon Archfiend!"[/color] He chuckles as his Monster aims at Naomi's cards and fires.

(If your face-down allows such, Sim, you can cut in before Loi blasts your facedown)

"Sorry but I activate my trap card, Divine Wrath so by discarding a card, my Level Eater this time, that effect is negated and XYZ-Dragon Cannon is destroyed. Sorry but looks like your move wasn't good enough this time." Naomi looked at Ruga and then back at Loi. "If you are done then how about you let Ruga have his turn so we can continue to beat you two." For all that she only had her dragon left, Naomi was still confident with her chances of winning, maybe something to do with her remaining 4 cards or with the fact that she still had Red Dragon Archfiend on her field while Loi had nothing on hers, a field ready for Ruga to attack next turn.

Ruga chuckles. [color="#800080"]"I use Malefic World's effect! I choose three Malefic cards in my Deck and you two need to choose one. The selected one is added to my hand. The other two are placed back in my Deck."[/color] 3 cards flew from his Deck and appeared in front of him, backs facing Loi and Emily. Loi and Emily nod. [color="#006400"]"We choose the middle one."[/color] [color="#800080"]"As you wish."[/color] The middle card flies in his hand and the other cards are placed back in his Deck and he shuffles. He places his Deck back in his Duel Disk and looks at Dragobie. [color="#800080"]"Dragobie! Attack Loi directly!"[/color] Dragobie roars loudly and fires a beam of pure darkness at Loi. [color="#006400"]"Uh-oh!"[/color] Loi is covered in a black flame and he dusts himself off. [color="#800080"]"Now I will end my turn by using my face-downs! Coffin Seller and Robbin' Zombie! Now you lose 300 Life Points for every Monster sent to your Graveyard and when our Monsters deal damage to you, the top card of your Decks are sent to the Graveyard!"[/color]

Emily draws her card. [color="#8B0000"]"You should have saved your Divine Wrath, Naomi. I will attack with Arcana Force XV! And now his ability activates! Since his coin flip was Heads, I choose 1 Monster one the field and blast it! And I will choose my own Arcana Force 0!"[/color] Her Fool is blasted and Dragobie covers Arcana Force XV in black fire. [color="#8B0000"]"1200 Life Points is worth this! I use my face-down! The Material Road! I can only activate this card if I have a Level 4 or lower Arcana Force in my Graveyard! Like my Arcana Force 0! By discarding a Level 5 or 6 Arcana Force, like Arcana Force XIV - Temperance, from my hand, I can add The Spiritual Road from my Deck to my hand. And I will place it face-down and I will use Suit of Sword X!"[/color] She flips her coin and it lands on Heads. [color="#8B0000"]"Since my Spell landed on Heads, all of your Monsters are destroyed!"[/color] She snickers as Dragobie and Red Dragon Archfiend are impaled and smoke comes up. [color="#8B0000"]"Huh?!"[/color] She looks dumb-founded as Dragobie clears the smoke with his wings, unharmed. [color="#800080"]"Ha! You see, Emily, Dragobie is immune to effects that would destroy him!"[/color] [color="#8B0000"]"No matter. So what if he has a new boost because of Red Dragon Archfiend? He'll still be a pile of bones! I Special Summon Archlord Kristya in Defense Mode!"[/color] Valhalla's doors open and a female angel in bone-like armor adorned in red appears from Valhalla and kneels besides Emily. [color="#8B0000"]"Your move."[/color]

The figure of a person stood on top the roof of the NoteBlue dorm. The person's entire body was covered by a blue and white hooded cloak, the cloak flaped ferociously aginst the wind. The figure stood tall and seemed unphased by the increasing gust of wind. It was a rather strange sight to see a person ontop of the Note Blue dorm, however it was stranger to see the person remain so calm. The person's face may have been covered, but it was clear from the person's body language that they were in a peaceful state. The person began speaking to themself, the voice emitting from the person's body was very soft, sophicated, and clearly a female. " I Wounder, how many years has come to pass? Am I wrong to assume that the Immortals will be making their move soon." The women stared off into the distance, taking her time to view the bright blue skys and puffy white clouds before her. " It is a rather sad sight, the skies are filled with such dark clouds. The sun it self has become corrupt, the land before us dries out and decays." The Women lifts her left arm above her head revealing a duel disk, which has been unseen by any mortal. " No, I can not allow such a future to flourish." The women lowers her left arm back toher side. " I Kasuga Hoeni refuse to allow the Immortals to spread their taint among this land".

While walking around the school, Emilia overheard a loud argument. She looked around and noticed that it was two Note Blue Students. She noticed that the boy started to get angry so she decided not to get involved. As she continued walking around, the same student that was yelling at someone stormed off and ran right into her, she snapped at him, "[color="#FF00FF"]Hey! Whats the big idea?! Running into me like that! Whats your problem[/color]?!" Then Her Buddha Spirit appeared beside her with great concern in his eyes and said, "[color="#F5DEB3"]Emilia, apologize to him now. There is something wrong with him and it's creating a evil aura around him[/color]."Emilia looked at him and said, "[color="#FF00FF"]I don't care! He ran into me and I want him to apologize[/color]!"

Canis walks out of the main building and suddenly stops. She looks around as a voice speaks to her. [color="#2F4F4F"][i]"FOLLOW MY COMMAND! ADVANCE!"[/i][/color] [color="#FF0000"]"Whose there?!"[/color] [color="#2F4F4F"][i]"FOLLOW MY COMMAND! ADVANCE!"[/i][/color] Canis seems worried. She runs away and back in her room. She sits on a bed and places hands on her lap, shaky. [color="#FF0000"]"Who was that? Who contacted me?"[/color] She looks at her Deck. She knew none of her cards did. She knew their voices. But whoever contacted her... She knew it was evil. The tone was dark and demonic. [color="#FF0000"]"I have never heard such a voice before... What am I gonna do?!"[/color] She looks around and screams as she sees a black wing with maroon marks fly at her. [color="#FF0000"]"N-NO! GO AWAY!"[/color] She goes in a fetal position and shakes, scared out of her mind.

Mizu simply left, walking out of the arena briskly. She was rather upset, mainly because she hadn't told the challenger the whole story of why she refused to duel him. However, she couldn't tell anyone her true reasoning. One of her duties was to duel, yes, but to duel those who were a threat, not random students. This boy, however, might have been considered one, but she was not the type to challenge strangers. That, to her, was dishonorable, and the duel would be meaningless because the duelists would not be putting their hearts into it. If someone challenged her with the intent of giving their all and placing their heart in the duel, she would gladly fight, reciprocating the action of dueling with her heart.
She noticed someone up on the roof of her dorm, and decided to go investigate.

Kasuga did not notice the women below, her gaze was fixed on the horizon before her. " Fenrir, Phythas, Sylph, Naito, Ixion, Spellblade, Star Lily, Volkner, Yowler, Nora oh noble guardians guild me. Light thy path set before me and give me the strenght to abolish the evils of the Immortals." Kasuga spoke as if she was in some sort of trance, her words were clear and held truth behind it. " My dear queen, I shall not fail you. I shall continue on this road until I ....." Kasuga stoped speaking in mid senyence, her head moved to the direction to where the women below was standing. Kasuga's facial expression was hidden by her hood and veil, but a inquisitive soon filled her face. " Have I drawn attetion to myself once agin?" She mumbled to herself.

Mizu started to run at a tree next to the dorm building, and jumped up into the tree, expertly using parkour to swing from branch to branch like a gymnast on a set of bars, conserving her momentum as she climbed up the tree before finally launching herself at the roof. She just barely grabbed onto the side, and hoisted herself onto the roof. She was tempted to draw her sword, but she did not, instead reaching a spot where she could cut off the woman's escape, unless she was willing to jump. [color=#00FFFF]"Normally, people do not stand on roofs watching the sunset, at least where I come from, they do not. So why are you up here, all alone?"[/color]

Kasuga did not express it, but she was rather impressed with the women's movements. Kasuga stared at the women for a bit, without a saying a word. Kasuga glanced at the women once more, " What I am doing you ask? I am doing the same as you merely existing, hoping for the dawn of another day." The women spoke in a some what of a sad tone. " As for what I am doing up on this roof, well is really none of your business." Kasuga turned her back to the women and slowly walked off the roof of the building.

Mizu slowly approached the cloaked figure. [color=#00FFFF]"The question of whether we truly exist is something that philosophers have been debating for millennia, but that is not why you are up on the roof with an illusion cast over yourself to prevent anyone from seeing you, is it? Yes, I spotted your illusion. Only took a bit of magic to punch through it. You really need to work on improving your illusion-casting abilities, whether they be magic or otherwise. You are leaving a slight shimmer in the air where you trick the mind to accept that you are not there, and that only sky exists behind you. It has fooled the students, but I have been trained in many things, and noticing things that aren't supposed to be noticed is one of them."[/color]

Kasuga stoped in her tracks before walking off the edge. " Oh, is that so? " Kasuga turned around back to the girl. " Who would have guessed a mear child like yourself would possess such keen eyes." Kasuga looked over the girl once more. " You are a bold one arent you child? To inform me about my own spells, let me ask you something child. Do you belive the illusion i cast is the extent of my powers? Also you said that you have been trained to see thru such things, so tell me why would one so young require such training." Kasuga had the impulse to just walk away from the girl, but she felt rather compelled to hear the girls answer.

Mizu replied. [color=#00FFFF]"I am not at privilege to tell you, but I can tell you that I have been trained to vanquish evil and protect the innocent using my sword, my skills, and/or my deck by channeling my heart into these tools. This is my sacred duty, my [i]dharma[/i], and I must follow through with it, whether those who prey on the weak and helpless are close to me. My mother taught me this lesson, and gave me a book, the [i]Bhagavad Gita[/i], from which this philosophy comes from, though she is not here with me."[/color]
[color=#00FFFF]"So I must ask you whether you plan to harm the innocent students of this academy like the evil presence I feel, or if you plan on aiding them. Normally, I can tell by reading the hearts of those around me, but yours is shrouded from me, a property of your cloak, from what I gander."[/color]

Kasuga tought to herself { This child is unlike the others of this island. I can see the passion within her eyes, she could prove to be a valuable ally aginst the Immortals. She has the heart, but does she have the strenght? I shall test her.} Kasuga slowly walked towards the girl without saying a word. Within the blink of an eye Kasuga appeared infront of the girl, it seemed as if her movent was untracable to the naked eye. Kasuga soon stood infront of the child, a strong wind blew as she arrived infront of the girl. Kasuga bent down and placed her hand upon the girls shoulder and whispered into the girls ear. " I will banish everyone in this academy to a world of shadows and there is nothing you can do about it child." Within an instant Kasuga was standing upon the branch of the nearby tree, which the girl used to leap on the roof. It looked as if the women was teleporting or moving at a great speed. " Do you hate me child?"

[color=#00FFFF]"No."[/color] Mizu replied behind the cloaked woman. She was standing behind her, also appearing out of thin air. [color=#00FFFF]"Flash step technique: using a burst of speed, magically-generated or otherwise, to move incredibly fast, making it look like you are teleporting. This is also a rather basic technique. If you are trying to show off, you are not making a very good impression on me. No offense or anything, but you do not seem to be very threatening. Sure, you have some abilities, but if I can do them too, then to me, you are not very intimidating. I am even starting to have doubts you can 'banish everyone in this academy to a world of shadows'."[/color]

"I will not apologize because there is no reason for me too, you were in my way." James was still angry and with someone else interupting him, his rage was growing more and more. Infernity Death Gunman flew up to Buddda Spirit to talk to her, "You should probably warn your human that my human is not in a good mood at the moment and that she should probably back down and leave before she gives him a reason to be angry at her too."

"Draw, Even with Red Dragon Archfiend gone and in my graveyard, it is easy to summon him back and the only thing in the way of doing that is your Archlord Kristya. So I might take her out of the equation for now with the spell card, Forbidden Chalice. Now while she gains 400 ATK, her effect is negated so Special Summoning is allowed again until the end of my turn. I still have 3 more cards to use and use them I will. I activate the spell card Premature Burial, now at the cost of 800 Life Points, I can summon back my Red Dragon Archfiend from the Graveyard. I also special summon Creation Resonator, who can be special summoned whenever I have a level 8 or higher synchro monster on the field. I then normal summon my Force Resonator and Special summon Level Eater in Defence Position from my graveyard at the cost of one of Red Dragon Archfiend's levels. This is so I can Double Tune my now level 7 Red Dragon Archfiend with my level 3 Creation Resonator and my level 2 Force Resonator. Now the King and the Devil combine to create Red Nova Dragon. As you should know, Red Nova Dragon gains 500 attack points for every tuner monster in my graveyard, and I count 3, Dark Resonator, Creation Resonator and Force Resonator so his attack is 5000. Go, attack Loi with Red Nova Stream." Red Nova Dragon spun forward and flew at high speed towards Loi, ready to reduce her life points to 200 if sucessful.

Canis leaves her dorm and looks around. She walks in main building and enters Ruga's office. She opens his desk and removes a maroon box covered in purple flame marks. She walks outside, box in hand. She opens box and removes a card and places it in her Deck. [color="#2F4F4F"][i]"Good girl! You will be useful."[/i][/color] Canis looks over and sees Mizu. [color="#2F4F4F"][i]"She seems like a fine enemy. But I sense 2 people. Where is the other one?"[/i][/color] [color="#FF0000"]"I don't even know if I can use you."[/color] [color="#2F4F4F"]"Leave her be, then. We need to find an opponent we can test you with."[/color] Canis nods and walks off. She drops the box and walks on. [color="#FF0000"]"You sure I should use you?"[/color] [i][color="#2F4F4F"]"Yes! Now, find an enemy!"[/color][/i] Canis leans on a tree and looks around.

Loi blinks and backs up as HE is blasted. [color="#006400"]"Not good!"[/color] He shakes his head and looks up at the Synchro. [color="#006400"]"We're done for."[/color] [color="#8B0000"]"Hush, Loi! We can still win!"[/color] [color="#006400"]"How?"[/color] [color="#8B0000"]"There is always a way!"[/color]

" So you are immune to such tricks are you. Very well, allow me to show you a spell which none has seen." Kasuga turned around and faced the girl. Once Kasuga's eyes locked with the girl's eyes, the air around the two began to darken and the air became thick. Two purple glowing eyes appeared under the women's hood. " You truly are a bold one to doubt my powers child." The area become pitch black until no light existed. The space where the two stood was pitch black and the air was so thick it made it hard for anyone traped within such a space to breathe. Kasuga stood a few feet away from the girl. A large glyph appeared under the two women, the glyph glowed a bright blue which matched Kasuga's clothing. " I should warn you this negitive space is rejecting your very being. If you stay here to long you will die my dear child, oh yea I should let you know that this spell is no illusion child." The gravity also seemed to be much heavier, but kasuga walked around the room as if she was not affected. " You have two options child, you can duel me for your freedom or you can sit here and die. Reguardless of your choice you should hurry up, a mortal like your self can not last more than ten minutes in this world." Kasuga leans back and sits down as if she was in a chair, but there was nothing behind her. Kasuga was sitting in mid air, it was clear now that this was no trick. " Well my child you questioned my powers so here is a taste,but this is not the limit to my powers i can asure you. Anyway have you made up your mind, time is running out child, well running out for you that is." Kasuga snaped her fingers, once she did a large golden hour glass appeared aside the girl. The sand in the hourglass quickly fell. " Once that hourglass runs out of sand your air supply will be deminished aswell." The women said with a slight chuckle in her voice.
