As her teacher summoned his Dark Strike Fighter back, Emilia thought, [b]I guess I wasn't able to do enough to him then[/b]. Then, suddenly, Professor Croc sacrificed his own monster and 7 weird looking balls took its place. Before she had the time to ask what was going on, all 7 balls started to fall around her and explode simultaneously making her fall on her butt. Her Life Points then dropped down to zero as she hit the ground. Feeling depressed a little bit, she mumbled to her self until the teacher complemented her on her close victory. As he was explaining that no student of his has ever come close to beating him before, this brought Emilia's hopes back up like a Rocket Warrior. He then offered his hand to help her up and mentioned that he had something special for her. She took his hand to get up and asked him while dusting herself off, "[color="#FF00FF"]What do you mean Special sir[/color]?"

Croccie snickers. [color="#4169E1"]"Since I see so much potential in you, I want to know, will you be my apprentice?"[/color] He chuckles and rubs Emilia's head. [color="#4169E1"]"I'm sure I can teach you more than enough."[/color] He looks at the Thunder Gold dorm. [color="#4169E1"]"I'll be in my office. Come when you choose."[/color] He chuckles and walks inside the dorm.

Xeno walks in her room in Bang Red and looks around her room. [color="#FF8C00"]"This should be good."[/color] She wonders when her roommates will show up, as well as who they would be. [color="#FF8C00"]"I wonder if Bug Brain will-'[/color] She is cut off as her door opens and Jane walks in. [color="#808000"]"OH HELL!"[/color] [color="#FF8C00"]"YOU!?"[/color] Xeno and Jane glare at each other.

However, as they stood there talking, off in the distance, a tidal wave several stories tall flowed into a nearby dueling arena, Followed by another, and another. These tidal waves came from nowhere, and they seemed to fill the stadium, which, like most, was riddled with holes, perfectly with water, confirming that it was a hologram, albeit a really cool one.

In the adjacent arena, a blue-haired Note Blue girl with a blade-like Duel Disk was dueling against a rather portly Thunder Gold student. Her opponent had recently used his assorted Cloudians to clear her field, but she had summoned Steam Synchron onto her side of the field. But now, she had activated A Legendary Ocean, filling the arena with holographic water that the Cloudians were submerged in.

A huge clamshell appeared and opened up to reveal a pink-skinned woman attached to the inside of the clam with tendrils for hair and shell bits for clothing. She held a huge shiny pearl in her hands. (0 ATK -> 200 ATK)

The pearl started to glow, and a card shot out of the pearl and landed in the girl's hand.

A strong warrior who was possibly a fishman appeared next to Mother of Pearl, brandishing a trident. (1600 ATK -> 1800 ATK)
"Wait a second!" Her opponent realized. "You're cheating! Deepsea Warrior is a Level 5 monster!"
[color=#00FFFF]"Not here, it isn't! This is my Legendary Ocean's special effect! It decreases the Levels of all WATER monsters in our hands and on the field by 1! Now for the big finish!"[/color]
The arena went dark as a swirling galaxy appeared in the center of the dueling area. The two monsters turned into energy beams and entered the galaxy's center.

A huge fish appeared out of the galaxy and swam over to the girl's side of the field. It had wing-like fins, a long, spiny tail, and three armored shark-like heads filled with fangs. Twelve glowing eyes stared hungrily at the Cloudians. (2500 ATK)

The giant fish charged forward and each of its heads took a bite out of a Cloudian, eliminating the rest of his Life Points.
The water and the undersea ruins around them drained, and the crowd cheered.
"And the new freshwoman Mizu Fudo just defeated St. Elmo, one of the top Thunder Gold students in the school!" The announcer, a girl, let the crowd of students know. "Can anyone defeat her?!?"

Hearing those words meant more to Emilia then Professor Croc could ever imagine. Once he had entered the dorm, She Started to shout out into the air while jumping up and down saying, "[color="#FF00FF"]YES[/color]!! [color="#FF00FF"]I get to learn from another teacher personally! I knew coming here was a good choice[/color]! [color="#FF00FF"]This is maybe my most greatest moment ever[/color]!" She turns her head over her shoulder and asks, "[color="#FF00FF"]What do you think Sempi[/color]?" Behind her was her Buddha Spirit partner, he bowed to her and replied, "[color="#F5DEB3"]You certainly deserve it Emilia[/color]. One box was a fire red color and had "CORE" on it written on it's lid in carved silver. Another box was purple and had "CARDINAL" on it in carved onyx. His last box was pure white and had "FALLEN" on it in carved gold. [color="#4169E1"]"Knowing her Deck, she will probably choose Core. Only 1 way to know for sure."[/color] He sits down and leans back in his chair.

Jane shakes her head and unpacks as Xeno leaves room and walks around, her Duel Disk on her arm and her Deck on her hip in a gray Deck Box.

Croccie looks through his 3 decks as he waits. [color="#4169E1"]"She was a wonderful duelist. I wonder if she'll say yes."[/color] He chuckles and spends more time on his decks.

Hanging up her phone, Emilia takes a deep breath and says, "[color="#FF00FF"]Alright then, off to Professor Crocs Office[/color]!"While not quite sure where his office was, Emilia started to ask some of the other students if they knew where. After someone told her, Emilia went off. When she arrived, she noticed that his door was wide open. So she knocked and said, "[color="#FF00FF"]Hello[/color]?? [color="#FF00FF"]Professor[/color]? [color="#FF00FF"]Are you here[/color]? [color="#FF00FF"]I've made my decision[/color]!" As she was talking, she noticed some odd colored boxes on his desk and started to wonder what those were for.

He watches Emilia and leans back on his chair. He places his hands on his lap and smiles. He looks over as his phone rings, but he pushes End, canceling call.

As he gave her permission to enter, Emilia walked right in and sat at a seat that was in front of Professor Crocs desk. Guessing it was for student use, she sat down and got right to the point, "[color="#FF00FF"]I would greatly honored to be your pupil Professor. I want to be the best Machine Duelist in the world! And I know that the only way for me to do that is to be trained under someone much better than me[/color]." getting her knees and legs on the ground, Emilia bows her head to the point where it also touches the ground and asks, "[color="#FF00FF"]Please sir, will you teach me[/color]?!"

Fallen are powerful for their Level, and their abilities make them even more powerful. The Cardinal cards are a small set. Each one is related to an element and a cardinal direction. And each one as an ability while on the field, and one for while in the Graveyard. Now, Core is a powerful set. Their secondary effects seem powerful, but only work if it's destroyed. If you have a full set, you can make a full 80-card deck, as well as a bunch of powerful Fusions, of just Core cards. Currently, I only have 4 Core cards."[/color] He lays boxes on his desk and realizes as he opens them. [color="#4169E1"]"Odd. Could of sworn I had some- Oh yeah. I handed them to someone else. Oh well. They were mostly useless anyway. Anywho....."[/color] He lays Cardinal cards and Core cards besides their boxes as he places Fallen box aside. [color="#4169E1"]"Choose wisely. When you pick one, if I receive one or more new cards for the set, I will hand them to you."[/color]

[color="#4169E1"]"You know, I don't only use Machines. I also use a Beast/Beast-Warrior Deck as well as a Rock/Fiend Deck. You can challenge me and one of my decks whenever you wish. I must warn you. I won't go easy on you."[/color] He chuckles and leans back more. [color="#4169E1"]"So, what are you planning on doing now?"[/color] He removes a Deck Box which has BBW on it and rubs it with a cloth.

Jess walked into the main area the Note Blue dorm, before checking her wrist device for her room. After checking and finding that she didn't have a roomate yet, she walked up to the higher levels of the dorm for her room, before walking in and unpacking her stuff.

James walked forward into the arena Mizu was dueling in, "I'll take that challenge, if you don't mind Mizu." Walking forward he activated his duel disk, which if people remembered their past, they would realise it was one of the old dark signer duel disks.

Naomi turned to Ruga, having been content to watch the duel until now, "Why is Darkheart taking so long to make his move, this is starting to get boring with the whole waiting thing."

Ruga yawns and nods. [color="#800080"]"Yes. I'm fairly bored of this now."[/color] He snickers and yawns again. [color="#800080"]"Oh! Maybe we can leave and have a Tag Duel with some of my staff members."[/color] He chuckles. [color="#800080"]"Show them how dueling really works!"[/color] He removes his Duel Disk from his back and polishes it. [color="#800080"]"After all, I have always been curious how you played. I have never seen you in a duel before."[/color] He looks down and polishes his Duel Disk more, making sure each piece is clean. He mainly polishes his Duel Disk's 'eye' so it shines. [color="#800080"]"Normally, I am one for planning, but Darkheart is taking forever. Maybe he is wondering why his parents gave him such a weird name."[/color] He chuckles. Normally he wouldn't make such remarks in public, but sadly, this one was too true.

With that, Naomi took out and shuffled her deck, before looking through her Extra Deck to check that all her synchro monsters were there. 'Red Dragon Archfiend, Majestic Red Dragon, Red Nova Dragon, Trident Dragon, Exploder Dragonwing, Chaos King Archfiend and Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.' Naomi thought as she flicked through the cards. "All my synchros are here so I'm ready when you are Ruga."

Ruga chuckles. [color="#800080"]"How about Emily and Loi? Loi has a LIGHT Deck which will mix well with Emily's Arcana Force + Herald Deck."[/color] He places his Deck in his Duel Disk and places Extra Deck in the eye and chuckles. [color="#800080"]"An adjustment I made myself."[/color] He stands and leaves arena. He chuckles and rubs his head. [color="#800080"]"You coming, Naomi?"[/color] He waits at arena door. He leans on doorframe and smiles at Naomi.

Xeno shrugs and sits down under a tree and shuffles her Deck.

Jane rubs Cross-Sword Beetle as it lays besides her bedframe and it rolls around happily. Jane smiles and picks it up and climbs down bed ladder and hands Cross-Sword Beetle some lettuce leaves, which it happily noms on. Jane wonders how a Duel Spirit is eating, but she pays no mind.

"Sure, just make sure you aren't left behind with the speed of my dueling." Jess replied to Ruga as she walked out the door and towards the staff area, not looking back to check that Ruga was following until she reached the entrance of the staff area. "Hurry up Ruga, the sooner this duel finishes, the sooner that you can organise all the students to their dorm and I can settle into my own room. Anyway, this duel will be over quickly for the opponents, they won't know what hit them." Naomi walked inside and towards another door that led to a private dueling area for the staff.

Ruga was already inside Arena, near duel field, a fake beard on his chin and his back hunched. [color="#800080"]"What took you so long, you wee whipper-snapper?"[/color] He chuckles and straightens himself and removes beard. Loi and Emily were already on Duel Field, Disks ready. [color="#8B0000"]"You ready? You can't-"[/color] [color="#006400"]"Oh, hush, Emily!"[/color] Ruga takes his position and his Duel Disk activates. He chuckles as all 3 of them draw their beginning hands. [color="#800080"]"Come join us, Naomi."[/color] He smiles and looks at his hand. [color="#8B0000"]"This shall be fun."[/color] [color="#006400"]"Who will make the first move?"[/color] Ruga looks at Naomi. [color="#800080"]"Care to start us off, Naomi?"[/color] He looks in his hand more and chuckles.

"Fine but one special rule for this duel, since we are using our own fields, monsters, and life points regardless of being on a team, no-one can attack on the first turn." With that, she drew her starting hand and looked over it before drawing another card slowly and gently. "You know, sometimes the unexpected can be good and since no-one can attack on the first turn, I might end my turn without doing anything so, if no-one has any objections, Turn End. Now, take your turn Loi, and see if you and Emily can beat us." With that Naomi stepped back, content to stay there and not do anything against anyone until her next turn.

"Well, you still lose 1500 LP, and then i activate reinforcements of the army. COME FORTH, DARK SCORPIAN BURGLARS!!" He yelled, as the monster desended. Attack:1000 "I activate sword of dark destruction, raising my Burglars attack by 500." New Attack : 1500 "I end with two fds" His opponent's life points where 6500. If he drew the monster he wanted, he would win this duel. All he needed was Ares.

[color="#006400"]"Now Y-Dragon Head's connection gives X-Head Cannon 400 more ATK and DEF!"[/color] It looks around and aims it's guns. [color="#006400"]"Not now, X."[/color] It shakes it's head and aims it's guns upward. [color="#006400"]"I end my turn."[/color]

Ruga draws his card and snickers. "Now, I shall use the Field Spell Malefic World." He looks around as the whole room looks like a galaxy and is made of a mix of purples, reds, and pinks. [color="#800080"]"Now I will play Field Barrier. So my Field Spell is safe from destruction! Now, I will remove from play a Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my Deck to Special Summon Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon from my hand!"[/color] A Red-Eyes B Dragon appears and black and white armor covers it's wings and a half-white half-black mask covers it's face and top jaw. [color="#800080"]"Now I summon Delta Flyer!"[/color] A small Monster which looks like a mix of an Insect and Dragon appears. [color="#800080"]"Now I will Synch my two Monsters and Synchro Summon Dragobie King!"[/color] A pillar of darkness appears and a pair of red eyes appears in darkness. The pillar breaks and a dragon made entirely of bones appear. [color="#800080"]"Now, since there are 2 Dragons in the grave, he gains 400 ATK and DEF."[/color] He chuckles. [color="#800080"]"Now I will end with 2 face-downs."[/color]

Emily draws and snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"I use Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen!"[/color] A large, holy temple appears behind Emily. [color="#8B0000"]"Now I activate Second Coin Toss!"[/color] She snickers as Valhalla's doors open. [color="#8B0000"]"Now I will Special Summon Arcana Force XV - The Fiend!"[/color] An abstract Monster appears and Emily flips a coin, and it lands on tails. [color="#8B0000"]"Second Coin Toss!"[/color] She flips her coin again and it lands on Heads. [color="#8B0000"]"Much better. Now I will Normal Summon Arcana Force 0 - The Fool!"[/color] Her Monster appears besides The Fiend and she flips her coin and it lands on Tails. [color="#8B0000"]"Wonderful. Now, all of your cards whose effects target my Fool are negated and destroyed!"[/color] She snickers. [color="#8B0000"]"I end my turn!"[/color]

It was quite a sight to see, in one turn Naomi had gone from no cards on the field to summoning Red Dragon Archfield, that fierce and flaming dragon, to the field. "Have you got any response Loi or will you just let those monsters be destroyed through battle."
