One could be a new Covenant bioweapon made to only target humans wiped out a world, but it adapted to also kill Covenant as well, so they abandoned the planet. Reina was the only survivor thanks to her armor, but she got infected anyways. They froze her until they could make a cure, which took 17 years. Another possibility is that her ship's Slipspace drive malfunctioned no thanks to Covenant fire, causing it to travel at lightspeed, and a 17-lightyear jump took 17 years. Her ship could have been ambushed by the Covenant, and she was never revived from her cryo-chamber until a prowler discovered the wreckage 17 years later. After the Battle of Jericho VII, which she participated in, the ship she was on was ambushed by Covenant after exiting Slipspace. The ship had enacted the Cole Protocol, jumping randomly, only to run straight into a small fleet in a previously-unknown system that turned out to be a Covenant-held area. Before anyone could be revived, the ship was destroyed. Eventually, 17 years later, a prowler operating behind enemy lines found the wreckage and Reina, its only survivor. However, in that span of time, she learned that everyone she knew was dead, and her homeworld of Yamato had been glassed. How does that sound? I was going to come up with a great analogy but my brain died. Best I could come up with was "That app's got as much chance of being accepted as a glass of milk has a chance of being accepted into the jarred cheese club." but that's just terrible and I think it's probably a metaphor. @Sabotage: What did you want in the "Other" section then? I probably missed something earlier or something. My head's not been in the best place for a while and it's making me feel tired and physcially sick so I've been missing a lot of stuff lately, whether or not I've read it a dozen times. @EVERYONE(!): I was trying to think of squad names but then got bored and played some quality import games on my XBOX. By "quality import games" I mean METAL WOLF CHAOS(!), so it has mentally stunted me with it's awesomeness and now all I can think of for squad names is Justice and Freedom. From the phrase "BURNING AMERICAN JUSTICE/FREEDOM(!)". It doesn't even fit naming patterns for the UNSC or anything but it has seared iself in bold, stenciled, capital letters into my brain. Oh yeah, and @Lady: I'll be sticking that app in soon. @EVERYONE(!) again: I'm thinking of adding in a couple extra weapons. Specifically an experimental Sniper Rifle with a partial-homing system, thus making "Patsy's Magic Bullet" a slang term for it, as well as adding a new kind of grenade that is fired from a variation of the Hunter's Arm Cannons, thus being a "Holy Hand Grenade". There's some totally logical reasoning behind it as well. Buckshot. Covers the "Donkey" part, anyway. It'll most likely be a heavy shotgun designed for SPARTAN use. It'll have some heavy recoil on it, like firing a cannon. Covers the whole thing nicely. If a normal person fires it, they may as well be getting kicked by a (animated) concrete donkey. The way that Circumstance works, at least in this RPs canon, makes the planet uninhabitable in quite a few places which cuts down the amount of forces the Covenant needs to release dramatically. That's also the reason why only a small unit of SPARTANs is being sent in. And about your dibs... Sure. You won't be getting instant access though. Probably. There will be some drawbacks to the gun, obviously. Like a much smaller amount of shots before a necessary reload, 2 or 3, and, of course, the ridiculously powerful recoil, guaranteed to knock even a SPARTAN back a couple of feet. So, to have this moment engraved into the site, I'm asking for any edits to your apps that you want to submit, if any, as well as opting for which squad you wish to be in. Unless someone has an idea for other names, I think the squads will be Ruby and Sapphire. Reasoning? Well, I was having a muck around over some Halo 3 maps when, on Sandtrap, I took a look at the Elephants. 'Behemeoth' and 'Leviathan', red and blue, ruby and sapphire. Anyway, just tell me what squad you're in, along with any app alterations, and give suggestions for other squad names if you want. I will be sqaud leader of Team Ruby, just so you all know. PS: Hopefully, by the time that everything's said and done, I'll have some info on the "Concrete Donkey", "Patsy's Magic Bullet", the "Holy Hand Grenade" and the Stalkers. Also thinking of adding yet another part to non-canon information. ODESA. It stands for Orbital Drop Elephant Shuttle Armour. It's armour designed for Elephants, obviously, and allows them to be launched from orbit. The armour protects the vehicle and those inside from damage and prevents detection from outside forces by preventing it from emanating heat and the like. Makes it look like a ship just dropped a load of scrap metal or something rather than looking like the UNSC just dropped a huge freaking vehicle filled with soldiers. The first one is the Type-58 Unstable Terrain Assault Vehicle, Known in the UNSC as the Spider. The Covenant use Boosted Gravity propoltion systems in many of there land and air vehicles that create anti-gravity fields between the ground and the vehicle, terrain like sandy deserts are too fragile to use standard Covenant vehicles, otherwise the propoltion systems would be damaged with the debris from the terrain being ripped apart below it. The Spider uses instead eight, armor plated legs that attach to a main platform that is suspended 10 foot above the ground. It supports space for six crew members; one driver, two optional plasma turret operators and three Passenger seats. It's weaponary is one tri-barreled fuel rod cannon and two optional plasma turrets, situated at the front and back respectfuly. It's speed is comparable to the scarab. Very, very slow. Due to limitations of the structure of the spider, it's armor plating is very light, and will destroy itself after two or three direct hits from a Fuel rod gun, or just one hit from a Spartan laser. The second idea is the Ga4-DuSH Expermental Tokomac Plasma weapon system. A UNSC weapon which is condisdered to be the Spirital Sucess to the Rhino tank's used at Arcadia. They are somthing comparable to the continual streems from the Hunters' fuel rod assault cannons. Other than that, I dont anything more to about it. I need more time to think and sugestions from others if you wish. Also, randomly, I just hijacked a Anti-Air Wraith on halo 3 using a little glitch.
