Hydra of Ages
Archer scoffed. "Non. This is what I -that is, Valay- will do," he started. And then he got into character. --- In The World of Angevirth --- Valay had a saying about mindless animals. He couldn't remember exactly what it was, but it was certainly insulting to his compatriots and probably included a couple references to him eventually stabbing them all in the back and bleeding them dry to fuel further dark rituals. You know, hypothetically. So, a mass of dangerous cursed animals. Hardly a threat, but then again, he WAS -THE- Valay De'Cruz- he doubted they could get many more than a few wild animals to go against him after he woke from his brief nap. Their insolence would be paid back in full when he exacted the toll of his revenge. It really was a pity he had to help those other -lesser- Overlords at the same time, but the way he saw it, the easiest way to getting his old power back would be to gather around him a nice group of slave-servants. He picked out a bat, which looked like it would be easiest to sway. "Hey, you! Become my slave or die!" he yelled, which was only slightly less stupid than it sounded. Logic dictated that if one magister could control an animal through a curse, a more powerful one could turn it to his side- especially when it was obviously out of its mind. Besides, if it didn't work, he could just blast it with magical power until it bled purple.
