Alex lounged back lazily on his bed in front of the T.V. The show depicted some random Gym Challenge battle, probably in one of the other regions. That's the price of Sclora being so little-known, I guess. It's never shown.
He reached over to the remote and flicked the channels across. Weather, news, news, news, destruction, ne- wait, what?
It was a short video of people in dark suits taking Pokemon and throwing them into a hole, sort of like a rift in matter itself. Alex was transfixed, and could only watch as the scene unfolded. After the video, the show returned to the news reporter.
The Luxray padded up onto the bed from where he was kneeling beside it. Alex scratched between his ears, a spot he knew Xin liked, and the Gleam Eyes Pokemon's eyes... well, gleamed. "Feel like some training, buddy?"
He knew neither of them needed training - it was more something to do rather than something nessessary.
Alex gathered up the rest of his Pokemon, still inside the capsules known as Pokeballs, and wandered outside, giving Julia, his mother, a passing nod and reminder as he did so. He stuffed the Pokeballs containing his older Pokemon, Cloudsia and Fortree, into his pockets and kept out the new ones he had captured the other day. He still had no idea what they were, but they looked powerful.
Xin stood by his side and looked up at the person he had been friends with for eight years. It was almost as if he said Ready.
Alex readied the Pokeballs, one in each hand. "Straith, Archfire! Out, now!"

"ASSSSLLYYYYNNNNNN!!!!!!" A voice yelled hysterically from inside Aslynn's house.
"What now!?" Aslynn grumbled, spinning back. Her white hair floated around in the early morning breeze.
Her younger brother, Skye, sprinted out the door. "Where are my comics?!" He complained. "That stupid Crystie thing of yours had them last!"
One of the Pokeballs that hung from Aslynn's belt shook, and broke open, revealing the afore mentioned "Pokemon".
"Young boy, I put those Superman Comics back where I found them; Under your bed." Crystie told the boy calmly. "If you had any sense you'd take the out from under there and put them in that comic folder."
Skye frowned. "Under my bed?! B-but-"
"Just go check there, Skye." Aslynn insisted. "Crystie is usually right."
Skye's frown deepened, but he walked off. Aslynn suppressed giggles. "Crystie, not funny."
Crystie sighed. "It is kinda funny. My sense of humour is different to yours. You know that."
Aslynn sighed. "Heard this before." She looked down the path. "We are heading to Hecti Town today anyway. I heard contests are starting to sprout all around."
Crystie gave a small smile. "Contests we want to win." And with that, the two high-fived. The beggining of a journey neither would forget.

The small and demure lady examined Mariana Town with a expression that seemed to say 'I thought it would have been bigger". She stood in the town's entrance, a suitcase beside her and a bag on her back- it was clear she had just arrived, a fact further stressed by the intricate jacket and skirt she was wearing, both of which were not commonly found in this region. Beside her, a small and rambunctious Eevee was currently chasing a small Rattata, while a large Pokemon- or creature, being a Pokemon never seen before- looked out cautiously from behind the girl, it's lithe, serpentine form curled around her leg. With a sudden movement that sent the Pokemon around her leg rocking and the small buns in her jet-black hair bouncing, the girl seized her suitcase and took a step forward. The Eevee spent a moment further chasing her prey, then cheerfully set off in pursuit of her Trainer.

Kiyo Misawa examined the little houses on either side of the room carefully, looking for the one that would be hers for a couple of days. The fact that a teenager had managed to lease a house might be astonishing to some, but, coming from a rather famous family of dancers that had never been short on cash, it had been a simple manner for Kiyo to sneak some money to rent a small cottage. Not that she intended on staying here long- she fully intended to leave the house in a day or two- maybe even a couple of hours- to start her Coordinator journey- but first, she needed to get more supplies, so she had found somewhere to stay for a couple of days.

There, that must be the one. Kiyo turned and examined the house critically; it was small and only had one bedroom, but it was clean, the yard was nicely trimmed, and it looked like it had a nice paint job (Kiyo, being on the outside, couldn't tell.). It would do. Taking a couple steps forward, she entered the house and ushered her Pokemon in; then, setting her bags down, she turned to look over the town. Even from the doorway, she could see that most of the townsfolk were already up and bustling around; Kiyo looked to see who would be the best one to talk to about getting supplies. A pair of girls were walking down the road and they high-fived- maybe they would be the best to approach...

"Ahhh... nothing like the fresh morning sun shining on my face to awaken me, eh Eevee?" Jolta had just woken up. Beside him slept his Eevee, who was still sleeping. "Wakey wakey little buddy, today's the start of our new Journey!"
Eevee then woke up. The duo got out of bed, ready to eat breakfast. At the table was Mrs. Priest, Jolta's mom.
"So Jolta," Mrs. Priest asked her son, "What Pokemon do you think you're gonna catch?"
"Hmmm... that's a good question..." Jolta pondered in a British accent, "there are hundreds of them to catch, maybe thousands!" Eevee, upon hearing, stared at Jolta. "No Eevee, of course I love you..."

Soon, after breakfast, Jolta went out of the house carrying a bag, with his Eevee on his shoulder. "Goodbye mom!" He waved as he left his home, for his journey to become a Champion...
Next, Jolta looked around, then threw a Cherish Ball into the air. "C'mon out, my friend!" the Cherish Ball summoned a white, glittery light, which soon took the form of a young girl. "Well Eria, I'm sure I briefed you about this yesterday..."
"Yes master," Eria spoke, blushing, "we must proceed..."
"Eevee!" Eevee nodded.
With that, the trio proceeded to Route 1, in hopes of catching their first Pokemon...

Ryumaru City experienced a quiet morning but soon felt a bustling transition into the afternoon.
Ryumaru City is a fairly large city. It houses a deep sense of tradition, and as such, not much has changed, except for the major addition of the downtown sector of the city that was built in order to stay on the map as a city. The city houses a Pokemon Center, a Mart, and several office buildings and businesses in its downtown sector. The suburb sector is full of traditional-style houses, and on the far end of the city on the border between city and suburb lies the Ryumaru City Gym, home of the number one Dragon Tamer in the Sclora Region, Alistair Corallel. His house lies in the Suburb sector as well, and is a simple walk down the street from the gym. A dragon temple resides on the outer edge of the field outside the gym.

The breeze blew through Alistair's hair and blew his tie into his face as he made his way from his house to his gym. On his left, his Garchomp, Draco; on his right, his newest party member, Skyrus. It had been a week since he had caught Skyrus on that starry night outside his gym, and that also meant the repairs to his gym were finally going to be finished; he had to battle challengers at the outdoor field a few meters away from his gym ever since Skyrus crash-landed and literally took out the entire front portion of the building.

Alistair attempted to straighten his tie as a team of Gurdurr ran by, carrying their steel beams towards the gym; Alistair looked up and into the distance and saw that repairs were just about done. A Conkeldurr was at the site pointing his concrete walking canes, directing the construction Pokemon for final repairs. "You ready for a new day, guys?" he asked as he turned to face Draco and Skyrus one at a time. "If we're lucky and get no challengers, we'll go explore, okay? Maybe a visit to Unova, perhaps? I haven't seen Drayden or Iris in quite a long time." Draco grew visibly excited at the thought of visiting Opelucid City; Skyrus became visibly confused. Seeing this, Alistair took a moment to stop on the path, no need to rush construction anyway. Sitting down, Alistair told Skyrus that Opelucid City was in a different region. He told Skyrus that Drayden and Iris know a lot about Dragon Pokemon, and as such, they are experts on the care, treatment, and overall happiness of Dragons. Alistair concluded by saying that Drayden can also teach Dragon Pokemon the ultimate Dragon type move, Draco Meteor. Alistair's Garchomp lit up upon hearing those words, after all, Draco's name was part of his favorite move. Skyrus looked at admiration at Alistair, and he could sense it; he was a Dragon Gym Leader after all.

Alistair quickly glanced over to his gym, which was visible from the path. The repairs were finally complete and it looked just like new; the door was back in place and the building looked in tip-top shape. Getting up and dusting his pants off, Alistair motioned for Draco and Skyrus to follow, which they did, and together they entered the gym as the Conkeldurr Construction Team left the scene.

Alex's two new-ish Pokemon - if you could call them that - stood before him, or in the case of one, flapped. He had queried his father, who worked in the Pokemon healing buisiness, about them when he had caught them, but no answers. "I have'nt even heard of them before. I don't know what they even are," his father, Warren, had said,
One, which he called Straith, was a Staraptor-looking thing, with a bat's face, long tapered ears and a light-blue complexion on all of its feathers. It had a larger beak than it used to, because of Alex giving it a Sharp Beak, a Flying attack raising item.
The other... Alex couldn't really tell what Archfire was supposed to be. It had a red-purple cloak with claws for hands, and glowing red eyes. But hey, it looked cool.
The two faced each other, Archfire even going so far as to don a battle stance.
Xin quickly moved between the two and growled. "Alright guys, what about Xin and Archfire versus Fortree and Straith today?"
The Pokemon looked towards him. Archfire, with its curious speech capabilities, spoke up. "I do not see wrong..." it said in stop-and-start English.
"Great. Xin, you work without commands with Straith - the Pokemon gave a nod - and I'll command Fortree and Archfire." Straith looked at Alex and gave a squawk before he released Fortree, his Shiftree he caught shortly after setting out on his journey.

Xin stood next to the flapping Straith while Archfire and Fortree lined up opposite, about twenty metres away.
A good breeze was blowing. This should be interesting.
"Go!"

Kiyo's eye caught on another girl, walking down the street and apparently on her way to go try and catch some Pokemon. And...she had an Eevee with her?

Hmm. Kiyo thought. She seems like the best person to advance, if only because we share the same Pokemon... Her choice made, Kiyo clamped down on the fear rising within her about talking to a stranger and took a bold step forward, motioning to her Pokemon to do the same. With a couple more steps, Kiyo had approached the girl.

"H-hello." She stammered. "I'm K-kiyo. Co-ould you perhaps help me and t-tell me where I can get supplies?" Inwardly, Kiyo cursed her lack of social skills.

With an innocent giggle, Aslynn sat down on the grassy slope that led to Mariana Town. Crystie cocked her head to one side, a question rising. "What are we doing?"
Aslynn smiled. "We're gonna have a little fun. Rolling down the slope." Crystie nodded in understanding. And with that, both lay down and tumbled over and over, giggling happily.

At the end of the slope, Aslynn sat up, and brushed small grass particles from her hair. "Ok then." She said. "We should head out to Route 1. That leads to.... whats its name..... Hecti Town. Then we can set out for Yanza City or whatever it was." Crystie nodded her approval, redish hair floating around in the faint breeze.
Aslynn stood up and began to walk down through the town, Crystie following obediently.

Stella glanced at the roof and sighed boredly. There was nothing to do in the Gym currently, as her only potential battlers were either only just starting their journeys or still trying to get up the mountain. It made people like her wonder about the perculiar postioning of the town. And the Wall.
The Wall was probably one of the stupidest things ever built. After potential trainers fought through the countless dangers and made it to the gates, the Wall deprived them of their strength. Stell often considered bringing in fresh Wall Guards, as the current ones were cruel. In order to get into the City, you had to beat 3 Guards. Hardly any trainers, or Co-Ordinators for that matter, ever made it in. Unless they had a flying Pokemon. Then they could just fly over the Wall. Lucky them.
Stella fingered her Pokeballs. "Cyberrrrrr." She called softly. A shadow appeared on the celing, and a large flying serpent appeared, gleaming silver in the dim light of the gym.
"Hey Cyber. What do you say we go for a joy-ride? Escape this city of boredom for a short time?"
Cyber nodded his great head, and angled his tail. With a grin, Stella clambered on. Taking a remote control from her pocket, she pressed a button. The celing opened up, a feature she herself had installed when she'd found Cyber. It was the only way she could actually battle with him without turning the gym to rubble. And, of course, it also worked as a getaway, an exit.
Cyber shot foward, leaving the gym far behind. Turning back momentarily, Stella pressed the button again, closing the roof. Many of the people shouted as the saw their Gym Leader fly off, but none could stop her. Afterall, most were afraid of Cyber.

Alistair was surprised to see his his student trainers already on their respective platforms; after all, the construction team wouldn't allow anyone they didn't know or recognize onto the scene. Perhaps they flew in while the construction crew was on break he thought to himself. He returned Draco into his Pokeball, and he brought out Quasar, his Salamence. "To the top platform, Quasar," he ordered politely as he climbed on his Pokemon's back. "Come on, Skyrus, you have a lot to see and many people to get familiar with." Skyrus followed along as Quasar launched up into the air.

"Hello there, Alistair!" greeted his student trainers. "Greetings to all of you as well, my students! Hope you've been training during this past week of gym reconstruction." "We have, Alistair!" shouted his best student, Wes. "We have made excellent progress!" The others nodded in agreement. "That's good to hear, everyone. And now it's time for another day at the gym," Alistair began to say as Quasar landed on the uppermost platform, Skyrus landing right next to them; the massive dragon statue in the gym's center standing there all the while, as if standing guard against challengers. "And since I'm not expecting a lot of challengers today, if I get no challengers for 2 hours, or if 2 hours pass and no one else challenges this gym after a previous challenge, everyone will get the day off to do whatever. Sound good, everyone?" Everyone agreed.

And with that, another day at the Ryumaru City Gym began without a hitch.

Brice sat on his platform, bored. It had been AGES since he last saw a Trainer come his way. The warmer months were coming his way, he knew- and with them, so should the Trainers. But, up until now, they had not. What was with that?

Oh, so much time he had wasted. There he was, coming into the Gym early, starting up the spouts so they could create the whirlpool in the middle of the Gym. The platforms that existed to help the Trainers get to the platform above the hole in the middle he had jumped over with a sense born from doing this a thousand times, and, like a thousand times before, he had reached the middle platform, waited as it rose to the ceiling, and sat in the chair in the half-moon shaped enclave, decorated with a beach motif, without a hitch. A good two months wasted! And during that time, he could have been surfing...

...Aaugh. Screw it, better late than never. With a sudden, languid motion that might remind some of a panther rising, the slim, well tanned young man stood up. Well, the trainers weren't coming, so you know what- it was time to go surfing. Heck, you're dressed for the job, Brice! Brice thought, chuckling as he looked down at his outfit- a wetsuit with a red sweatshirt over it. Yes, he was definitely ready for the beach-

"Are you the Gym Leader?"

You got to be kidding me...Brice looked up, and, of course, there was a trainer standing there, a Poke Ball clutched in his hand and a triumphant expression on his face. Yep, it had to be this one time that the Trainer would come, and not a month or so earlier...

"Yes, I'm the Gym Leader- Brice Whitmore." Brice, thought he was rolling his eyes inwardly, managed to make a smile. "So- you ready to take on the Gym Challenge, I see?"

"Yeah!" The boy said shrilly. "Let's battle! Go- Charmander!"

Oh, this would be fun... "Alright, kid," Brice said. "Go! Sushi!"

***

"And that's game, kid." Brice said as his Huntail burst out of the water (once the battle had started, Brice had pressed a button which extended the platform to include a small pool) and blasted the kid's Burmy with a jet of water straight to the face, knocking him out.

"No...t-that can't be..." The boy stammered, looking crestfallen.

"Yep, kook, you just lost before even obtaining the first Gym Badge- well, see ya; I got some swells! Have a nice trip home!"

Alistair sat on the edge of his platform, waiting for a challenger to enter his gym. An hour passed. Then a half hour. Then twenty minutes. Then five. Then four. He began counting seconds, until literally at the last second, a young girl around the age of 14 or 15 entered the gym, out of breath and exhausted from apparent running to the gym. Alistair got on Quasar's back and, standing, floated down to meet his challenger. "Hello there, young girl. And what is your name?" Quasar floated about 5 feet away and 4 feet above the girl; he returned Skyrus to its Ultra Ball, which he promptly placed on his waist.

"Wendy," she simply replied as she tried to catch her breath.
"I see, well, welcome to the Ryumaru City Gym. I am the Gym Leader, Alistair Corallel. I have just one quick rule to start with. You must have collected the previous 7 Sclora Gym Badges before you can challenge me."
The girl only looked at Alistair, and said, "Badges?"

Alistair facepalmed. He pulled out an Epitome Badge out of his pocket and showed it to the girl. "This," he began, pointing to the badge with his other hand's index finger, "is a Gym Badge. When you have all eight badges in a particular region, you may challenge the Pokemon League. Any more questions?"
The girl just stood there for the longest time, until she began nodding in a delayed understanding. "You can begin your Gym Badge collection with Brice Whitmore. He lives in Yanza City, all the way on the other side of Sclora."
His would-be challenger just looked at him, and after a few seconds, left the gym without saying a word.

"Well...she looked like the only person who was going to challenge. What an uneventful two hours this has been. Take the rest of the day off, trainers, you've earned it. Your patience has been appreciated."
Alistair sat down on Quasar's back. "Wes, I leave you to lock the gym. I'll be in Unova if anyone needs me."
And with that, Quasar went full speed, heading towards Opelucid City.

"Huh? What is it Eevee?" Jolta's Eevee jumped off his shoulder. "Eevee? Not again..." Jolta turned back, to see a girl and her Eevee. Apparently, his Eevee was trying to mingle with the other Eevee.

"Well," Eria spoke to Jolta, "Eevee's made a new friend."
"Well," Jolta faced Kiyo, "my name is Jolta. Jolta Priest. This is Eevee," he pointed to his dog-like Pokemon, "and this is Eria," he then pointed to the blue-haired girl beside him. "I happen to believe there may be a Pokemart and Pokemon Centre in the next town..."

All of a sudden, Eria released a Hydro Pump using her staff on the tall grass, hinting about a wild Pokemon.
"What's that Eria? A Wild Pokemon?"
Eria nodded.

Hm. It looked like there were two of them- a boy and a girl. The boy had walked forward and introduced himself, to which Kiyo responded with a shaky nod. She was about to repeat her question- no one had apparently heard her- when the girl sent a jet of water out of her staff! Wait a second, was she a wild Pokemon...?

"What are you?" Kiyo asked the girl, but before there was time for an answer, Kiyo heard a scuffling within the grass. A wild Pokemon was near. Quietly, Kiyo looked down to her Eevee and whispered, "Imi, get ready...there is a Pokemon around." Kiyo's attention was now focused on whatever was hiding within the grass, and all the questions she had wanted to ask the duo had been, for the moment, put to the side.

Kamille exited the shower after a difficult day at the University. Students were unruly, and everything that could go wrong did. Wrapping the towel around her, she exited the bathroom door to get dressed. She made her way to the bedroom, and laid out her clothes on the bed. She dropped the towel, and turned around to close the door. As she turned however, she saw a young, male Trainer standing there, watching, eager to challenge her. Embarrassed, she picked up Wattmole, who was standing next to her, and pegged him at the Trainer. Wattmole hit the boy square in the forehead, knocking him down and out. Now angered, she picked her towel back up and dialed the main desk.
"Lennie! Why the hell did you allow a Trainer up here without telling me?! I just came out of the shower to find one just standing there staring!"
"What? Oh, I just got back from breakfast. Free muffins today..." the old man replied.
"You know that it comes out of your paycheck, right?"

OOC: Lennie is the Gym Stalker Guy. He has a name in BW, but I can't remember it.

Alistair and Quasar flew at incredible speeds, and before he knew it they were Opelucid City in the Unova region. "Whew, that was quite the Flying," he said as he fixed his hair and tie, and returned Quasar to his ball. He looked around, and found himself in front of the Pokemon Center. Peering in through the glass doors, he saw a man with quite the moustache, or perhaps beard. "Drayden!" he called out, waving. The man looked out the door and waved back.

"Well if it isn't Alistair from the Sclora Region!" Drayden said, walking out. He had to look up; after all, Alistair was quite the tall young man. "How've you been holding up, fellow Dragon Gym Leader?"

"I've been doing just fine. Really boring down in Sclora though. It's not really 8th badge season..."

"I'm sure you'll get some challengers in no time," Drayden replied. "You still following your strict 7 previous badges policy?"

"Yeah. I had this one girl stop by earlier today; she didn't know what a gym badge was."

Drayden laughed. "A beginner, perhaps? Who knows, maybe she'll become quite the challenger one day."

"Maybe. We'll see," Alistair said with a giggle. "Oh, I stopped by here for you to see my newest Pokemon. You know how there have been reports of strange Pokemon roaming every region causing a bunch of havoc? Well, last week my newest Pokemon crashed, taking out a chunk of my gym. I caught it, and I was wondering if it's possible for it to learn Draco Meteor yet."

"Hmm...you actually CAUGHT one? Interesting indeed. Come to my house. Iris is there. We will look at your newest team member and offer you our advice on this matter."

And with that, Alistair followed Drayden to his house, hoping that Skyrus can learn Draco Meteor.
If not now, they can always tell me when.

"My name is Eria..." the girl spoke... "Master? Please..." she faced Jolta.
"I can tell that you are very confused for obvious reasons..." Jolta smirked as he spoke to Kiyo, then returned Eria to her Cherish Ball. "Pretty obvious now. OK Eevee, you're in charge of helping me catch my first Pokemon."

Out from the tall grass came out the tall grass, which jumped up high right in front of Eevee. The creature was blue, had two legs, and had a tuft of tall grass as 'hair'.
"Judging from its appearance its obviously a Grass-Type. Thank Arceus I didn't use Eria."
"Oddish." the creature spoke.

Jolta's Eevee charged at it with a Facade, but the blue creature attempted to negate with Stun Spore. Eevee managed to move on, hitting the being harder. Next thing you knew, the blue creature drained some energy from Eevee, healing himself.
"Stun Spore? Absorb? What is that thing?"

"Um...okay." Kiyo said, further bewildered by Jolta's response. Then, seeing the Pokemon arrival, she promptly relaxed.

"It's just an Oddish- I don't think you need a Facade for it." Kiyo said confidently, which was rather unlike her. "We have them all over Oddish, so, yeah..." Feeling a bit shy again, Kiyo left her sentence hanging, and, like usual, her cheeks began to turn bright red. Oh great. If for nothing else than to turn away from the boy next to her, she looked down at her Eevee and said, "Imi, it's okay. We don't need to battle this one- it's pretty weak..."

"Well let's have a look at Skyrus," Drayden said as everyone stepped into his rather large stone house. Alistair grabbed the ball from his waist, promptly calling Skyrus forth; a low grumbling roar emanated from Skyrus and reverberated around the room.

"Now that is an astounding Pokemon," Drayden said, opening his eyes in amazement. "And you said he crashed onto your gym?"
"Yeah...he took out the front door and a chunk of the surrounding area. Surprisingly enough, Skyrus was uninjured from the landing."
"Really? Hmm..."

All the while, Skyrus floated around the house, examining the fine carving work on the stone's wall.
"He seems to be quite the intelligent Pokemon, to say the least." Drayden looked around. "Now where has Iris run off to?"
"Hiya, guys!" called out a voice from the stairs. A young girl with a dark complexion and purple hair stood at the base of the stairs. Skyrus turned his head. "Oh wow! What's that Pokemon?!" Iris literally jumped over to Skyrus. The dragon just looked at her.
"Hmm...I see. Well, I haven't seen this Pokemon anywhere before. And that's saying something. But, I do know that he's quite powerful. When did you get him?" said Iris, literally talking as fast as an energetic child who had too much MooMoo Milk.
"I got Skyrus just last week by my gym. He crash-land-"
"So he's from outer space then!" interrupted Iris.
"I suppose so- wait, outer space?" Alistair paused for a moment. "Yeah you're right, he was. He flashed across the sky before nearly flattening me."
"Well, Alistair, he's got power, he's got heart, and he's got some spunk too. BUT! What your Skyrus is missing there is a little friendship. I'm afraid Drayden and I can't teach it Draco Meteor just yet," said Iris.
"I understand."
"Alistair, Iris is right. You've only had Skyrus for a week. Train with Skyrus for a few days to improve that bond, and then come back to Opelucid and see us to see if Skyrus is ready or not," Drayden said.
"Alright. I'll see what I can do," said Alistair. "Thanks for all the help, Drayden, Iris. It's been appreciated."
Alistair walked to the window and looked out. A massive cloud was coming. Drayden and Iris walked over to the window and saw it too.
"Oh wow, now that's a powerful storm," Iris said.
"And unfortunately that cloud is in my way when it comes to flying from Unova to Sclora."
"You sure you don't want to spend the night?" asked Drayden.
"I'll be fine. I have to get back anyway, with the time discrepancy and all. Besides, Quasar's really experienced when it comes to flying in bad weather."
"Okay then, Alistair, just be careful," said Drayden, worried.
"I will."

Alistair returned Skyrus to his ball and walked outside, where he brought out Quasar and climbed onto his back.
"Oh, and one more thing, Alistair," said Iris. "Skyrus will be very powerful. I can sense it. Just train with him diligently and who knows, you may be surprised by the outcome!"
Alistair nodded, and waved goodbye as Quasar flew off. Drayden and Iris went back inside. "You need to stop drinking so much MooMoo Milk, Iris, I could barely understand you back there," said the Spartan Mayor with a laugh, holding the door as the Girl who could Understand the Hearts of Dragons happily skipped inside.

Stella sighed boredly. "And I thought joyries were entertaining!" She complained. Cyber growled a reply, but having only had the huge beast for a short time, she couldn't yet understand it's speech. Stella sat up straighter, and ran a hand through her long hair as she thought about what she'd said.
"Let's go back to the gym." She said finally. Cyber nodded, and did a quick u-turn. Stella, still bored as the flew slowly back to Prime City, clutched at a cloud. The wispy cloud of vapor dissolved between her fingers, and she suppressed giggles. Clouds were always fun to fiddle with, despite the fact Stella was Steel Gym Leader. She'd wanted to be a Flying, but she distantly recalled the furious arguement she'd had with her parents.
"Only Normal and Flying rule! You choose another type, you're dead!"
"But Normal is SOOOO boring!!! And Flying is stupid!"
"HOW DARE YOU! WE FORBID YOU CHOOSE ANOTHER TYPE!"
"Well then, I'll just break the rules!"

********************

Aslynn walked quickly through the town, Crystie following. In boredom, Crystie made some of the objects around them float up and twirl.
"Crystie." Aslynn said warningly. "We're almost at Route 1. There you could have some fun with the wild Pokemon. Then we can get another one, maybe." The small pokeball at Aslynn's waist shook violently in protest, as if what Aslynn had said was betrayal of the highest order.
"But." Aslynn added hurridely. "I still like you guys. I only reckon we need more Pokemon because then we can become MUCH stronger! And, in some cases, more beautiful. Like I told you, we're doing Contests mainly. The Gyms are there to level us up, make us better, and possibly help you learn new moves. New moves can mean more beauty."
The Pokeball stopped rattling.

"Well, I've never seen one... but I've heard of them..." Jolta pondered for a while... "Oh! Now I remember! Eevee, Bite!"
Eevee bit the Oddish with ease. The Oddish simply flinched.
"She was right- it is pretty weak. But with a little help from us, he'll get stronger!" Jolta took a regular Pokeball out from his bag. "So... the basics of catching Pokemon... weakened, check. Catch rate, I don't know, oh well, go Pokeball!"

Jolta threw a Pokeball at the Oddish. 1.. 2... 3... With that, Oddish was sucessfully captured.
"No time for epic poses, Eevee, you need some healing..." with that, Eevee got on Jolta's shoulder. "Hope we meet again..." Jolta said to Kiyo as he walked off to a nearby tree.

"Now, for a test drive, c'mon out, Oddish, use Sweet Scent on the Tree!"
And that was what Oddish did. From under the tree emerged a Shroomish, who fired a bullet seed at Eevee. Eevee however, took a big leap to dodge. Next, Eevee couldn't move due to paralysis, giving the Shroomish a perfect time to attack with Tackle.
All of a sudden, Eria emerged from her Cherish Ball at her own accord, in order to take the hit.
"Eria? OK, good, strike with Hydro Pump!" with that, Eria fired a thrust of water at the Shroomish, which managed to cut the mushroom's Health Points with a couple fifths.
"And another Pokeball, go!" Jolta threw a Premier Ball at Shroomish. 1... 2... 3... Shroomish was caught.

"Two Pokemon in a day, not bad. Good job! Lets proceed to the next town..." Jolta and his two friends, Eria and Eevee, proceeded.

It was dark, it was always dark. It was cold, there was always a chill in the air that no one liked. It was damp, it was always damp from the caves naturally wet walls and dripping ceiling. This was Undine City, a horrible and dark place where not many lived because it was said to be haunted and looked the part with it's natural darkness. Undine was inside of a cave, and though it was a marvel of modern mining and was intended to be a tourist attraction when finished but its dark disposition pointed everyone away and it was deserted except for a select few; the city's Gym Leader included. His Undeath Badges remain in his possession; either because trainers are to scared to enter Undine City or wants working up the courage to enter get thrashed by the trainers and Gym Leader so badly, that they give up on their journey forever. This is the home to many a pokemon spirit, creepy yugimon and pokemon alike, and the suspicious and spooky children, Synth Maelstrom...

Alistair's tie flew everywhere in his face as Quasar flew through the storm clouds. After several minutes, Alistair motioned for Quasar to slow down and fly carefully, and the Salamence obediently slowed. A large cloud loomed in front of the two. "Looks we have to fly through that cloud," Alistair told his Pokemon. "I think it's just this cloud and then we're good to go." Quasar flew into the cloud, and all of a sudden, thunder boomed and lightning struck everywhere. "Whoa, slow down, Quasar!"

Alistair had almost no time to register a large energy blast heading towards him. "Look out, Quasar!"
KRSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH!!
Quasar swooped to the left, almost knocking Alistair off, and a large beam of energy blasted right where they had been. "What was THAT?!" He looked to where the blast came from. An ominous-looking shadow loomed within the clouds.

"You like it? Personally, I think my accuracy was a bit off," boomed a voice, coming from the clouds.
"W-who, or WHAT, are you?" demanded Alistair, wide-eyed.
"I'm hurt. Is that how you treat a Legendary?" Alistair's eyes only widened as the shadow emerged from the clouds, revealing a large, serpentine form of a giant red dragon, complete with large wings, short forearms and legs, and two big mouths.
"That's no way to treat a Legendary, young Alistair Corallel. But, I will tell you WHO I am, since that was your first question." Alistair blinked.
"I am Slifer. In your world, I am a Legendary Pokemon, still undiscovered to your people. In another world, I am feared as a GOD." All the while, Slifer's mouth never moved; never opened. "Wait, how are you talking? Telepathy?"
"Perhaps; if that is what you people call it. But we digress. I was sent here to tell you a message. I know, I hate being a messenger," Slifer said casually, even adding in arm gestures.
"A message from who?" Alistair could only focus on this large being in front of him; a Pokemon obviously larger than Rayquaza by at least 5 times.
"A message from Ra." Slifer said, leaning his head in. "I guess I was the proper choice for this; Ra himself is far too busy with other matters, while Obelisk would've pounded you to dust before giving the message." Alistair blinked again.
"But I digress again. Anyway, the message from Ra to you is this: You have a destiny surrounding you and 2 Pokemon. Your current path to destiny is only 2/3 complete; you must first obtain a legendary green dragon." "A...legendary...green dragon Pokemon?"
"Yes, young Alistair Corallel. And not the one I know you're thinking about; no, this green dragon is filled with more power than Rayquaza. We call him Timaeus. He seeks only those with strong hearts. He despises cowardice and evil, and his sense of justice is unparalled. But I digress again. Your current path to destiny is only 2/3 complete; you, and Skyrus. You must train Skyrus well, and only then will Timaeus recognize your strong heart, and then test you. And if you pass his test, your current path shall be fulfilled."
"T-Timaeus?" Alistair could only stutter. "I have to catch Timaeus then?"
"Perhaps. Unless he deems you unworthy of even fighting him. Train hard, and he shall come to you."
A pause. Alistair looked down, his eyes closed, and he took a deep breath. He exhaled. He looked up, and Slifer's intimidating glare no longer scared him, which Slifer noticed.
"Oho! Now THAT is the Alistair whom Timaeus seeks. Now young Alistair Corallel, I have delivered my message; I must now depart," said Slifer as he started to fly towards the edge of a cloud.
"Wait, where are you going, Slifer?"
"Somewhere where you cannot follow. Do not worry, young Alistair Corallel; we will see each other again. As for when, even I do not know. Farewell, young Alistair Corallel."
"Wait! Slifer! One more thing," said Alistair bravely. Slifer paused, and turned his head. "Yes, young Alistair Corallel?"
"That move you almost hit me with earlier. Was that a Hyper Beam?"
Hmm...so that is what you humans call it. Interesting indeed. It appears I have much to learn from this world." Slifer turned back around. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a reputation to begin in this world of yours. I think I'll start by stopping that pointless quarrel between Groudon and Kyogre down in Hoenn...maybe after that I can..." Slifer's voice trailed off as he flew off into a cloud, and in a matter of seconds, the entire cloud they were in instantly disappeared, and Slifer's form gone.
"Whoa. Too weird..."
Alistair patted Quasar on his head, reassuring him that they were still alive, and, a bit shaken, they flew back to Ryumaru City without hinderance.
