Dwarven King
Even though I'm new, I'll join this! (made an account a long time ago just to make a card, so here goes nothing xD)
Stan Alda
1 more spot available!
Dwarven King
Ok, here is my entrant! Please tell me if it breaks any rules since I'm new to this, lol. LORE: This monster is unable to attack. This monster can not be attacked by another monster. When this monster is summoned, select one other monster on either side of the field. If the monster chosen is on your side of the field, it gains 500 ATT and DEF. If the monster chosen is on your opponent's side of the field, it loses 500 ATT and DEF. When the monster chosen is destroyed, De Blob is destroyed as well. EDIT: I can't figure out why it's cutting part of the bottom off. >.>

Stan Alda
I must apologize; I've been on business and unable to connect to the Internet. I agree; nobody else seems to be joining. I will start judging immediately, send the reviews as PMs, then post all the scores later. I'll be using a weighted average to compute the cards' scores, with Aesthetics being least important, then Versatility, then Usefulness/Balance. As for OCG, it's not too big a problem; if I can't figure out what the hell your effect means due to OCG, I will note that in the review. I will not, however, grade OCG on its own, partly because my OCG knowledge is rusty. And now, the judgments shall begin!
Dwarven King
My first card to ever be put in a competition is now getting judged!
Stan Alda
Oh s***. I've only graded 3 cards, and I've already given a perfect score. This is gonna be pretty unfair... I'm going to take a break for a couple hours.

Anyway, I'm back to reviewing. The bunker had grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch, and I like my grilled cheese!

It wasn't a perfect score! xD However, I was expecting like a two, yet I got much higher! D:
Dwarven King
Bump? Do we have any results?
Stan Alda
I must apologize for the lateness of my response; my commander has been inspecting the bunker for the past few days and would have reprimanded me had he known I was wasting time on this little project. Now that he is gone, I will return to reviewing.

Stan Alda
I regret to inform you that Jaeger has in fact died. His death was regrettable and pointless (but entertaining). His last words were "Continue the Mook Melee." I assume he meant this. Therefore, I will resume the reviews.

Stan Alda
I couldn't PM you, so I put the review for all to see... Lord Smeagle “Cheeky Devil” FIRE Level 3 When an effect is activated in response to the effect of a Fiend-Type monster, or the summon of a Level 5 or higher Fiend-Type or DARK Fairy-Type monster, you can send this card from your hand or the field to the Graveyard to negate that effect. If this card was sent from the hand, return that card to its owner's hand. If this card was sent from the field, return that card to its owner's Deck. Remove this card in your Graveyard from play to increase the ATK of 1 Level 5 or higher Fiend or DARK Fairy-Type monster on the field by 600. Aesthetics: Now THIS is what I want to see in a pic! Obvious anime style and clever name make it fit right in. 10/10 Versatility: Makes a good Fiend counter. As it counters a given type rather than supporting it, it fits well in just about any deck. The last part is a bit picky though. 9.3/10 Effects/Balance: It looks OP'd to me. Man-eater Bug is annoying, but at least you can guess it's coming. This is like a monster-returning version of Kuriboh, except considerably more powerful. It lacks any real cost; its ATK and DEF are mook-worthy, but why have it on the field in the first place? It's really...cheeky. 5.8/10 Total: 7.8/10: Looks great, but it's too versatile and powerful for its own good.Sometime this weekend; it's pretty late where I am. I've gotten 2/3 of the reviews done.
