Flame Dragon Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 While 3-5 is really short compared to the other DS models, it isn't THAT bad. Really, 5 hours is more then enough time for most trips. Also the other DS systems had similar battery life when played on max brightness so it's not that new. Nyko announced that it would be releasing a battery-pack add-on, which would effectively double the battery life of the 3DS. Now, I'm not certain about whether or not the thing'll actually work, since reports on Nyko products are a little mixed, but if it works, you have your solution right there.
