Zauls
Tech it in Demise ftw. Blow up with Demise while Geartown is on the field, get AGGD, Tribute AGGD for this, Attack for 8400.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
If you were going to tech it, it would literally be at like 1, since Megamorph is at 2.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
That argument can be used with most every monster. Especially now in the OCG where they wouldn't be able to activate something like Demise right away.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
You could also do the above by Summoning an extra gadget and then Summoning a final one, then tributing them for Obelisk. Or you could replace Obelisk with Barbaros for a field nuke and -2000 ATK.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It counts original ATK. Chimeratech's original ATK is 0.
evilfusion
Or, more specifically "?", which counts as 0 for the purposes of original ATK. Also, Limiter Removal doesn't affect original ATK, it affects current ATK, so adding Limiter Removal to the "combo" doesn't help.

evilfusion
The strongest you're ever going to get from Summoning this is 10,000 (FGD, Sin Truth, Dragon Master) because no card has over 5000 original ATK.

I use an Exodia Deck, so Tributing 3 Monsters such as "Sangan" or "Witch of the Black Forest" for Obelisk the Tormentor while getting 3 pieces of Exodia the Forbidden One at the same time was always helpful. Using Great Maju Garzett in addition to this would make it even better.

I just use "Cyber Jar" to activate Sangan's and Witch of the Black Forest's effects instead.

Card is a giant beatstick, which is stupidly easy to kill in today's game. But, like someone said, book @1 helps it.

evilfusion
"Overrated"? No one plays this competitively. How is it overrated? It's nothing more than a beatstick and almost everyone knows it.
Zkaiser
Wow, for some reason this topic gets lots of views. I was looking back to the last couple of pages in the TCG section to see what people were talking about long ago and I came across a topic about Great Maju Garzett. I was amazed that it had more than two pages and was a hot topic since I didn't think people would care much about that card. In a test to see if it would get that many posts now (since, in my opinion, we have much better posters now than in the past) I copied that threads opening post word for word and posted it. Lo and behold, Great Maju Garzett gets posts. Uncanny.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I was wondering why that sounded so out of place. I always want to use Maju, but the fact of the matter is he's not easy to play, and being a beatstick he isn't that helpful.
evilfusion
I tend to ignore the opening post. 9/10 it just says discuss and the more noobish sounding comments are ignored on account that they're noobish sounding comments. Well, as the game progressed, the ability of creating beatsticks out of nowhere has helped this card a lot. But it's still not consistent. Sin decks could probably get the biggest kick out of this card, considering the restrictions of Sin monsters.
