"Hey, hey, hey, gimme a second!" Sophie panicked a little when Amaya and Micky left and quickly took a firm hold of the trolley, caught up with them and matched their pace. Heading a little further ahead, Sophie turned around walked backwards, making sure not to stray into the road. Looking at Micky's guitar, she said, "You any good with that? I can play bass pretty well. Oh and," Sophie turned her head a little to look at Amaya, "I don't think I caught your name."

Lyla was completely startled. The previous drive until the lights was so peaceful, but now, she was quit literally pressed into her seat. Thank god she was in the backseat, at least there she wasn't in danger of flipping over the seats. 'Go Myst' she cried, releasing her ghost pokemon with a bit of effort. 'Stop the bus' she ordered. Mystcreeped down the aisle like mist, before wrapping himself around the break and forcing it down.

The bus took off, and Blaine slammed his foot on the gas, rocketing the convertible forward at high speeds after the tires squealed loudly, leaving long fingers of dark rubber across the asphalt. Blaine glanced at Sam briefly when the other had expressed some sort of confusion and surprise-

"Duh, it's a drag race of course!" he said with an almost maniac grin on his features.

A few cars beeped their horns loudly at them as they passed, and the bus was an old sort of ramshackle that obviously wasn't made for these sort of speeds, but it gave up a valiant fight; it wove through traffic like a pro despite its size, and its girth provided an interesting obstacle for the smaller car to pass, darting at the openings on either side that rarely seemed to be open.

Finally, Blaine found a gap in his foe's defenses and took it, the huge engine of the car whirring audibly as it hit speeds even above what it had been doing before. It cruised past the bus -Blaine gave the trainers in the bus a smirk, and the driver a taunting gesture- and sped off onto the path of the university.

Left in the dust, as if recognizing its defeat, the brakes of the bus suddenly jammed, causing its velocity to reverse and the rear end to lift up briefly before it settled on its haunches in the middle of the street. A little smoke escaped from a corner of the vehicle, but it seemed largely still operable.

Blaine smirked broadly as he pulled into the trainer school's parking lot.

"Well, I guess this wasn't a TOTAL loss of my time anyway, hehe..." he said with a grin. He looked into the back, "Hey, coming with Little Lady?" he asked, getting no response from the vulpix. He shrugged and vaulted himself out of the car, stretching his legs a bit.

"Military through and through, eh?" Donovan chuckled as Vector introduced his pokémon, who seemed to have a problem with her vision or just enjoyed bumping into things. "Is she blind that one or does she just enjoy running into things.. ehr, people?" He asked, he had to, it might've been a bit rude but that behavior had triggered his curiosity and if he didn't find out he'd just wander around for ages thinking about it.

"Well, we'll see with the other teachers if they'll be needing your assistance or not but it's nice to know you can step in if needed be" He said in response to Vector's answer on whether or not he could help out with the other classes. "And don't get all too excited about seeing the students battle, if you're lucky there's a couple that have a flair for battling but since none of them actually have trainer cards they will all be making very basic mistakes or pushing their pokémon way too hard" He then added, thinking back to the previous years he had been teaching. Most often there was at least one student that really had an aptitude for battling but even them made mistakes and most often it was them who put the well being of their own pokémon at risk.

"Oh, how rude of me!" Amaya exclaimed, realizing that she indeed had forgotten to introduce herself to Sophie. "I'm Amaya Kurosawa, but you can call me Maya" she said, trying to sound as pleasant as she possibly could in this heat and with the weight of her backpack straining her. "I don't think I'll have time to take a shower before the introductions starts" Amaya thought to herself. Thankfully that'd probably be the case for everyone and what mattered the most would be to find her room and leave her backpack over there.

Vector looked at Donovan with a bit of wonder in his eyes, but then realized that the teacher maybe didn't know a lot about Pokémon from the Unova region.

"Private is a Deino." He said, but it probably wasn't explaining much. "They are blind, and rely on their hearing to catch their preys." He chuckled as the Pokémon started digging, for no real reason. He looked up at the teacher again. "They have to learn sometime. I'm sure that after some time their battles will be as flaring as those that I have seen. And I have seen a lot of battles. Some of which I wish I would forget..."

"Oh there you are, Donovan," said Jane as she suddenly appeared. "I've been looking for you, Haunter needs controlling again, he's trying to knock down the roof of my classroom." She then spotted Vector, and then smiled. "Ah, you must be Vector Hawk; hello, I'm Jane Emett, the Pokemon Care teacher." She held out a hand, and looked very sanguinely at him. Then she noticed Private, and couldn't help but squeal. "Oh my goodness, is that a Deino? I have been looking for one of these for ... goodness knows how long, ten or so years?"

Without even asking, she scooped up the dragon Pokemon and began to do some kind of thorough investiagation. She turned over her paws, looked into her mouth, and gently stroked the horn on top. She then lifted her a bit closer to the sun, clearly examining her fur. "Oh gosh, this is a very healthy Deino - pray, what do you normally feed her?"

"They're all blind, eh? That's quite a peculiar trait." He said, bending down to get a closer look at the Deino who was now digging around a little, searching for something to eat perhaps?

"Oh yes, they have to learn but since you'll only see these particular students for about two weeks you'll probably not see too much of drastic change. We just give them the basics to work with and then they'll have to polish up their rough edges on their own later on." He stated, feeling that Vector might have slightly too high expectations of the students. "Oh yes, I forgot you were in the war.. speaking of which, would you mind giving a lecture about how pokémon were used in it?" He asked, knowing that the students could benefit from hearing of how pokémon were being used for real wars. It was more uncommon nowadays as there were better weapons and of course pokémon had more rights today to keep them safe.

"Again?" Donovan exclaimed, rolling his eyes and looking tired. "I've told you you have to stop pampering your pokémon so damn much because they have no respect for you what so ever!" he scolded her, like he had done oh so many times before, while he fished out a pokéball from a pocket on the inside of his suit jacket. He was wearing a charcoal gray one today along with a strikingly green tie, everything was without scrunches or flaws of course. He started to unscrew the small tap on the tip of the pokéball and it soon opened up to let out Sparky his manectrik.

Sparky growled a little at Vector but quickly shut up as Donovan shushed him and glared a little at him. His pokémon had the utmost respect for him and he demanded nothing else from them, he was as strict with them as he was with his students but he was also fair and thus his pokémon had a respect for him that was not based on fear.

"Come on old chap, we have to knock some sense into Jane's Haunter once again" He said, tapping Sparky twice in his side and then jogging away with the Maectrik taking the lead before him.

Noriko was praying that the bus would stop soon, and had her eyes closed too afraid to open them. Because of that I didn't see the ghost pokemon from earlier slip down the isle, and to the breaks. It was only when she went flying forward and over the seat in front of her did she realize the bus had finally stopped. "O-ow..." The young girl groaned, Pixie right beside her with swirly eyes, and on her back. "St-stupid bus driver..." Noriko grumbled trying to right herself, and fix her skirt and shirt that rode up because of the rough driving, blushing the entire time since some of the guys on the bus saw.

The bus started again, but now that the bus driver obviously lost the race, he drove off again but this time in a more calm manor. When the bus stopped she was the first to run off of the bus. "Oh thank god I'm alive!!" She yelled a bit over dramatically.

Vector looked after Donovan, who was jogging away with Sparky behins him, and then turned to Jane. Private was surprised by the sudden attention, but didn't do anything to get out of the teacher's grip.

"I sure am!" Vector answered Jane's question. "And this is Private. I don't feed her, usually she catches or finds her food herself."

He just noticed as a car entered the school's parking lot at a high speed and looked at it, seemingly enjoying it.

"Dear God, is that one of the students?" He said and laughed. "Too bad I'll just be here for two weeks, because if all the students are like that I might even enjoy this!"

"Oh, Donovan, don't you understand that Pokemon need to be treated with great care? Besides, Haunter's just playful in nature," said Jane affectionately, as if Donovan had just told a joke, which in her eyes, it was. She then heard Vector's answer, and was momentarily astonished to hear it. "Oh, of course! Yes, that makes utter sense! My darling Venasaur hunts food too - hmm, maybe that's why his leaves are so much more sleeker than my Tropius. Well, now, is that the school bus I see? Oh dear, yes it does appear to be." She put down Private, a slight frown on her face. "I've never seen it rush in like that before - it's probably the work of a careless student. Anyway, Vector, it's lovely to meet you, I hope you don't mind if I borrow Private for one of my lessons, she would be an excellent example to show to my students. Now, I need to see how Donovan's getting along..."

Jane drew a Pokeball from her belt and opened it to reveal a Tropius with a white collar around its neck. For a woman of 50, she was rather athletic in the way that she leapt onto the back of the mighty Pokemon. "Goodbye Vector, I'll see you back in the staff room, I suppose!" With a cheery wave, she gently nudged the Tropius, and he flew into the air, evidently headed for her classroom.

--------

Regiana had been walking alone for goodness knows how long, but when she caught sight of the school, she was relieved. Arctix was still streaking ahead, and to be fair, neither were tired. Indeed, Regiana had, during her quiet moment, calmed down; she did fancy being with those people, they did seem rather nice, albeit not very well taught. Still, the mind that looks down on people acknowledges them, and she decided that when she got to the school gates, she would wait for them and be friendlier towards them.

The best thing was, she wasn't terribly reluctant to do it.

Sam was still sitting, tensed up in his seat. One might think he had suddenly had a stroke or fallen into a coma, but after a few minutes he began to speak.

"The...hell?" He managed to croak out. "A freaking...drag race? I live...in a small town. Never had one of those before and you know what? I DON'T WANT TO DO IT AGAIN." The last words, shouted, sent Seth, who had quite enjoyed the ride, jumping backwards and out of the car. Sam massaged his nose for a second, breathing in and out slowly, before finally looking up at Blaine.

"Sorry about that," He said. "Never...never been in a drag race before. It's kind of..."-Sam searched for a suitable word- "bewildering the first time you go through it. Anyways, lets just get inside the school so I can, y'know, puke." With slightly unsteady motions, Sam exited the vehicle, and, with Seth happily jumping at his heels, slowly walking towards the school.

I HATE MY COMPUTER! T____T
my internet crashed just as I was posting a really long message here and now I have to re-do it all. FML
He had heard Jane protecting her 'innocent' little Haunter in the same way oh so many times, that woman needed to get a grip. There's a very clear line between being playful and simply vandalising and neither Haunter or Jane seemed to see that line, Haunter probably lived so far away from the line that he doesn't even know it exists.

He came to a stop in front of Janes class room, the outside of the building looked normal but Donovan knew that all hell would most likely be waiting inside. He turned the handle to the door and walked in, stopping blankly in his tracks and just gaping at the sight before him. "OH FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS!" He cried out, probably being audiable over the whole campus one would almost believe he could be heard all over Cinnabar Island but even though he yelled quite loudly that wasn't the case.

Inside of the classroom Haunter had stacked all of the furniture in one large pillar in the middle of the room, which was swaying from side to side in a very unnerving way. He had also drawed all over the wall across from where Donovan was standing and thrown every book in the book cases on the floor, and as Jane had stated herself, he was now in some kind of attempt to rip the roof of the building off and rearranging it. Donovan didn't know if he could actually do that if he was given the time for it but he wasn't eager to find out.

Donovan put his hands in front of his face and sighed, calming himself a bit and also making sure he didn't have to look at the mess in the room. "Sparky, you have my permission to do whatever it takes to make Haunter stop, just don't kill him because otherwise Jane will never get off my case" he said, taking another glance at the room and immediately regretting that he had done so. Sparky barked and then ran into the room, sparks flying from his body as he ran.

"If he ever does this room I will kill him myself, I don't care what Jane thinks" he mumbled to himself and walked out of the room, taking a look at the volcano instead to spare him the headache of the mess inside. Spraky might cause an even greater mess by attacking Haunter but Donovan didn't care, he was sure as hell not cleaning up that mess.

-------------

The rest of the walk had gone by in silence, most likely because of the sun draining them of any energy they could have left for talking.

As they closed in to the gates of the school Amaya could see Regiana standing by them. "is she waiting for us?" Amaya thought to herself, not knowing if she should be flattered or scared. Perhaps she had realized she had acted unreasonably and that she in fact wasn't the queen of the universe and everyone should bow to her, or perhaps she was just waiting for them so she could kick their asses for no apparent reason. Either way Amaya chose to be a bit wary of her right now.

She shot another glance at her watch and cursed under her breath. It was just fifteen minutes left until the introductions were to take place and in that time she would have to locate her dorm and make her way to the battle grounds where it would be held. She wasn't sure if they were going to be somewhere else later on for the rest of the introductions as the brochure hadn't said anything else but if they were she guessed that the teachers would fill her in on that.
yes I realize causing everybody in the group around me to move on could be considered god modding in a way but we really need to get everyone to the school grounds so we can move the RP along. It's all for the greater good I tell you! ;)

Lyla had braced herself before Myst stopped the bus, so all she was left with was a strain on her arms. Myst returned to her and she psedu-patted him affectionataly. 'Thank you' she said and returned him to his home. The rest of the trip was much slower thankfully, and they made it to school safely. Lyla grabbed her things and walked down the aisle to the front of the bus. Before leaving the bus, she glared at the driver. 'You're a public servant' she scolded uncharacteristically harshly. She stepped off the bus and into the full sunlight again. The bus may have been hot and stuffy, but it still beats walking. She saw Blaine's car in the parking lot, he was going to get a right telling off when she saw him.

Closing in on the school, she began to take in her destiny. She decided to find a school official to ask where the dorms are. She entered the closest building to find the classrooms. There was an awful lot of noise coming from one of them, thankfully, there seemed to be a staff member nearby. 'Excuse me' she said meekly to Donovan.

Blaine simply chuckled a little and followed behind Sam at his own pace.

"Kid, you'll get used to 'em eventually. Everyone in the know knows that Cinnabar Island is the drag racing capital of Kanto- or if it isn't, it is now," he grinned a bit, fiddling with his glasses. He paused for only a second, to consider the entrance to the school.

"This the place, then. Nice digs," he muttered. Of course, he'd seen the trainer's school dozens of times- after all, every other member of his family had attended Cinnabar U, and for good reason. He'd been to the area more times than he'd count, passed the doors to the trainer school so often it almost seemed to dissolve into the background- both figuratively and literally. Training pokemon was 'beneath' him. It was for dropouts and losers, people who didn't have his pedigree or his talent- Conscription fodder for lack of a better world, valuable only for the taxes they provided the government and if they enlisted in the army or not.

It really sickened him, that entitled, self-righteous attitude that infected any sort of legacy. He'd decided long ago that he wouldn't have any of that crap, and this was the first step in the final leg of that. By stepping into the trainer's school, he'd be doing something no other Cinnabar could say they did; 'lowering' themselves on purpose, because they wanted to. Sure, it wasn't a gigantic scandal -plenty of rich and powerful people had Trainer's Licenses anyway- but it was it symbolized that truly mattered.

He smiled a little broader and entered in good spirits.

"Don't look at me like that," said Regiana to Amaya. "I'm not going to bite." Such a radical change in temper and behaviour was bound to raise a few eyebrows, but Regiana was totally unfazed, or so it seemed. "Look, can we start again? I know I got a bit bossy with you, but I guess it's the sudden shift from big manor to what I say is survivng alone that sorta, you know, drove me a bit mental." There was an underlying insincerity to her voice, one that was so subtle only very sharp minds could have possibly caught a glimpse of it. Her smile, which had been plastered onto her face, seemed to lack a degree of warmth. Valena looked up smugly at the other trainers. She was avoiding eye contact with any other Pokemon, and was stood very close to her mistress' legs.

Jane arrived in time to see Haunter paralysed long enough for her to return him to his Pokeball. "Thank you Donovan!" she shrilly called. "I shall see you at the assembly hall then - the students have arrived."
Sorry I haven't posted recently. Got about 10 RPs to post on, and I think I may have bitten more than I can chew(Seriously, I'm choking on it.)
Micky nodded at the girls question. "Yeah I can play it. I was in a band, but I've left them now." Micky said, tapping the Guitar lightly. "We better hurry, or else we'll be late. I think them on the Bus and in that car'll be there already." Micky said, walking along with the others. The rest of the trip had gone in silence, but Micky didn't know if it was really because of the heat. Atleast, not for him it wasn't, definately not. He was too busy staring at the back of Amaya's head, and he couldn't think of anything to say anyway.
As they reached the school gates, he also noticed Regianna, although he wasn't as worried. She seemed to ignore him for the most part, although he had a suspicion that she knew that he already liked Amaya. He sighed as they walked up to her, and nodded his head at her. "You calmed down then? Because you seemed a little upset before." Micky asked as he approached.

Samantha clapped as she entered the room in which Haunter had been making trouble. "Your still as good as ever Donovan. Glad to know that if anyone runs wild, we can rely on you." She said as she picked up her Pikachu and placed her on her shoulder. "However I'll agree that Haunter seems to be getting a little annoying. It's just a bit boring, right?" Samantha said, sighing. "Anyway, where's that Victor Bloke? The new assistant we're getting. It would be best If I was to meet him now rather than Later." She asked.

Cage rolled his eyes. When the group had arrived at the entrance, the regi-girl had been there, waiting for them. At first Cage simply stayed at the back of the group as he was before, with Tyrant following the trolley. But as the conversation continued, he had moved to the head of the group, arms crossed and glaring at Regiana under his shades. Tyrant was still busy attempting to once again, climb the trolley, and thus the larvitar did not want to confront the artix. Cage would have spoken up, but he still needed to be likeable, at least in front of the rest.

"Micky - that was your name, right? - I'm perfectly fine now. Like I say, I do apologise for being so nasty to you."

Regiana was sharp to latch onto Cage, and she immediately walked up to him. Her smile was now fixed, and her eyes were percieving him with heightened keeness, though it was difficult to tell whether she was just paying him more attention, or if she was trying to see through him. "I do apologise for my behaviour beforehand; I suppose I shouldn't have been so angry towards you. Allow me to introduce myself; I am Regiana Regicalo Regimael Ice, daughter of the great Ice Master. Of course, I do presume that you are familiar with Regism?" Here, she seemed to tense slightly, although it was shown only by how stiff her right hand, which had been half-curled into a fist, appeared to be. She quickly got over it though, and offered her left hand for him to shake.

Noriko slowly made her way to the entrance of the school not really knowing where else to go. Pixie was by her side looking at everything, as was her traner, putting everything to memory. As she got closer to the entrence she saw a group of kids - which she remembered were the ones off to the side saying they would walk. She would have remembered if she saw them on the bus. Noriko stopped a little bit behind the group wondering if they were going to go in, they were kind of blocking the door. While waiting Noriko looked them all over trying to get more information from them. The girl in the front she remembered as the angry one from earlier, having been glaring at the Murcrow chick. Then there was the guy with the guitar - who, from what Noriko witnessed - seemed to be more interested in Murcrow girl then the others. There were two new people there as well - a girl whom was pushing a trolly, and a guy with a larvitar.

"Vul! Vul!" Pixie barked in irritation. Noriko looked down at her pokemon, "Just be paitent. I'm sure they'll be moving soon."

Cage let out a brief sigh, then uncrossed his arms and shook her hand. "Cage Brenner. Yes, I am familiar with Regism. A few of my friends were followers." He retracted his arm soon after, and gave a fake smile. Apology accepted. He thought to himself. "Although to be fair, I was a bit quick to retort," this time he spoke quite low, as if to make sure the others didn't hear what he was about to say. "So you have my apology on that." He grumbled to himself. Tyrant sensed his master's slight annoyance, and stopped trying to climb the trolley. He instead seemed to waddle himself over to Cage's legs, where he peeked through them at both artix and Regianna.

Assembly hall? I've been writing the first part of it all would be on the battle grounds for so long, but yeah I'll throw a note up somewhere now saying plans were changed and the introductions are there. Also, Vector is not with us he stayed behind at the battle grounds I believe so it's quite impossible for your teacher to have seen him Magnet :P

anything else? hmm.. I think not.. on to my post
"well I'm not the battle teacher for nothing Samantha, but I really do hope Jane could keep track of her Haunter so we can avoid messes like these" Said Donovan, shaking his head a little over the mess in the room. There had been a girl coming up to him asking for directions just earlier and he had explained as well as possible to her how to get to her dorm and that she was then to get to the assembly hall instead of the battle grounds. They had made some last minute changes as they thought it was kind of unbearable for the students to be sitting outside in a weather like this. The second part would still be there though as the students would be showed where the practical part of his classes would be held and then they would move on to the nearby building where the theoretical lessons would be. "Well, we should probably all head to the assembly hall right now so we can set everything up." he said, stretching his back a bit. It had grown stiffer these past years, but Donovan knew it was inevitable, he was getting old after all. "Will you stand by the door as usual to guide the students inside Samantha?" He asked Samantha, turning to her and rubbing a sore point on his back slightly. Sparky had strutted back with a smug and proud look on his face by now and was sitting beside his master, looking like he had just taken an olympic medal.

--------------

"Shoot I spaced out again!" Amaya thought to herself blinking three times quickly. She had just missed out on something but it seemed like Regiana was trying to make some kind of peace with Cage. Perhaps she had realized that she had indeed acted inapropriately and was actually apologizing? Or was she maybe offering him a chance to apologize to her for standing too close to her highness? Well either way a peace offering would be good for everyone, if cage accepted it of course.

She remembered how much of a hurry they would be in and gasped a little. "Girls, come with me! We need to find our dorms and then get to the introductions" She called, looking back at them as she ran in through the gates and then took a left turn in front of the rather large building, probably the main one. There were notes everywhere saying that the first part of the introductions had been moved to the assembly hall and then further down there were schedules for the rest of the day. She didn't have time to read those now though but at least she wouldn't get to the wrong place in the beginning.

With her mouth slightly open, Sophie couldn't understand how nobody could see through the completely transparent act Regiana was putting on. However, she thought to herself, she could probably tell it was fake because she had come across a lot of people in her short-lived travelling through Unova. It was probably a second nature kind of thing to be able to tell if someone's being genuinely truthful. It definitely helps to know how sincere someone is, especially if they're offering to sell you something. Noting that she was the daughter of the Ice Master, Sophie kept her mouth shut. It isn't a good idea to get on the bad side of somebody powerful, especially one you respect, even if their child is a stuck-up snobbish brat.

As Sophie was about to berate Regiana, Amaya ran off in a panic, completely catching Sophie off-guard. As Amaya sped off, Sophie chased after her, pausing just long enough to give a yell of, "It was a pleasure to meet you all!". As she sped after Amaya, Sophie yelled out, "Are you sure where you're going?" while Ringo was rolling around jovially in the trolley, waggling his feet in the air.

Blaine whistled a little as he walked. He expected that kid to follow eventually, but he let him get used to the ground not moving any more -he was aware that his driving wasn't exactly the best, after all. Besides, it allowed him a bit of time to scope out the area, especially the dorms- after all, like hell he was going to stay at home. He hoped, vaguely, that he wouldn't have to share a floor with UV Students that would invariably know his name, but figured he couldn't well worry about it.

He then noticed a group of girls run past him. He blinked, though nobody would be able to notice through his shades.

"Hunh, running dames. You don't see that every day."

It appears that dorms would have to wait, as Lyla walked off to the assembly hall. She could wait and follow Donovan, but that would be kind of awkward just waiting there, besides, it wouldn't be hard to locate the hall. Turning on heel she walked off. 'They seemed to have been dealing with a troublesome spirit' she thought as she wandered.

Lyla located the hall easy enough, all she needed to do was enter and find herself a seat, which she did, in the center row of seats, at the far right to be exact, so she could get out easier.

Regiana calmly followed Amaya to the assembly hall, though at a much calmer pace; the moment she was in, she chose the seat directly next to Amaya and sat down. Her legs were elegently together, her posture was upright and smart, and her hands were placed lightly on her lap. Her head was upright - not too upright so that her nose was in the air - and still; only her eyes were moving, and they were being as observant as ever. Beside her, Valena was sat in a very cat-like fashion, twined with every hint of vanity that was possible.

"I take it you are excited to start lessons?" Regiana suddenly asked Amaya. She was keeping her beautiful figure the way that it was, and when she finished speaking, only her eyes were animated on her serene face.
