"Well, I am aristocracy in a class sense, yes; we have old money. I guess you could join us, but could you really swear to never capture any pure Fire, Electric or Flying types?" Regiana seemed to doubt that Blue could join, although she never made it explicit if that was what she did think. "I am intrigued to know what your view on Arceus is. Do you praise him like the only god in existance? Or are you unable to acknowledge his superiorness?" She then saw C.B., and said to Blue, "Yes, I suppose we should get on." She began to board, although she moved slowly so as to be walking side to side with Blue.

Amaya had been listening contently to what the other's were talking about regarding the Regiist belief system. She didn't know much about it earlier as it wasn't very large in Kanto to begin with and surely not in Maiden's Peak where most everyone were practicing Yureism. She felt educated as well after hearing Regiana talk about her own beliefs but she didn't really understand why Blue had caught such an interest for this particular religion. Perhaps it was due to her already being a Yureist that she couldn't see what would be so alluring about the Regiist belief, but if Blue was interested in it she wouldn't try to ward him off from it. Perhaps he needed some kind of spiritual guidance in his life so that was why he had started to look into Regiism?

As she pondered over these things she didn't notice that Regiana and Blue had started to move and it wasn't until Medea nudged the side of her head that she actually woke up from her little internal debate and took notice of it. She mumbled a thanks to Medea and awarded her with another cereal, which were almost all eaten now, before heading after the other two.

"They don't really interest me to be honest, my favorite pokemon is Wabbuffet and I'm sure C.B. will evolve into one soon enough. I could care less about Fire, Electric or Flying pokemon." Regiana's words were still circling through Blue's head, he didn't really believe in anything until he read the book last night. "I don't even consider him a god, it's why I am sorta looking for a religion, I don't know what to really believe in." Blue sighed, religion was just always a tricky thing to him, he was hoping that with coming to the academy there would be someone willing to help him find a answer, a belief in something bigger. "Your religion was actually one of the only ones that interested me in the book I read."

"Well, if you want to be involved with Regism, you will need to be prepared. You cannot show any allegiance to Arceus, even if you're a Gigagas; if you do, your life will not be rendered easy until you declare yourself either against Arceus, or out of the religion altogether," Regiana swiftly told him. "It is a very tough religion, and one that is not easy to enter into. It's much easier to leave, you can do so much more to offend than to please. I do hope you are being sincere, and not asking through curiosity alone."

When Noriko walked onto the boat she noticed that Regiana was talking to some boy who's name she hadn't heard. In fact she didn't even remember seeing him until this morning. They were talking about the girl's religion; Regism. Noriko could never understand why people would worship pokemon in the way that they do. Not just Regism, but all of the religions centered around pokemon. Now, she wasn't about to judge anyone, make fun or disrespect the religions. In fact she actually enjoied some of the legendens that went with the religions, but the thought of actually worshiping a pokemon was kind of-well-rediculous to her.

Noriko looked down at Pixie laughing slightly at the thought of Vulpixism. "I bet you would like that huh, Pixie?" Pixie tilted her head to the side not having a single clue as to what Noriko was thinking.

Blaine dashed to the ferry and, much a professional sailor as any there, hopped over the guardrail with a quick flurry of movement. Ilia, almost knocked from his shoulders, gave him a sour eye, but quickly returned to sleeping.

"Looks like everyone else is here," he mused to himself. "Well, may as well rock the boat."

He chuckled a little to himself, almost wondering why they were all so excited about seeing the barren rock that was the Seafoam Islands. He'd been there countless times in his childhood, and while it had been a fun playground at first, there really wasn't much to it aside from a couple hills and a pointlessly complex cave system. The permafrost was an interesting scientific conundrum, but Blaine personally found it a little farfetched to think the elemental bird of ice would be residing in it. After all, it was a bird- why would it go underground?

As it so happens, he was feeling a little bored when he dropped in on a certain conversation- and, subtle as he was, he couldn't resist adding his two cents.

"So, basically it's an entire religion with sour grapes?" he said with a chuckle, intruding in what was possibly the rudest manner possible. Blaine's fair mind, intellectual curiosity and minor infatuation with 'Princess' rendered him rather unable to be outright mean or hostile, but he wasn't above being snarky.

Ilia opened an eyelid warily, almost sensing Blaine was preparing to make an ass out of himself, but apparently decided she didn't care just as fast. Blaine couldn't help a smile from creeping up as he thought of an argument. "Besides, their type restriction dogma seems rather arbitrary if you ask me. Arceus represents all types equally."

"I would be dedicated, your religion was the only one that really stood out to me. It was the only.... how could I put it? Realistic sounding religion?" Blue sighed, he didn't want Regiana to think he was just posing he was quite interested in Regism. When Blaine intervined the trainer could only glare, he didn't really like the over zealous type and neither did C.B.. "I didn't know they let empty headed jerks into this academy, why don't you settle down and show some respect." Although he was usually the quiet person, Blue didn't exactly hold back when he was angry.

C.B. sighed, he was hoping Blue would be right behind him but this didn't seem to be the case. The Wynaut dashed to where Cage had behind hiding and poked him in the back of the kneecap. He was hoping the trainer would want to have some fun like earlier, even if it wasn't the smartest idea to do as such on a boat.

"Oh, hello Blaine," said Regiana as she heard Blaine. "Don't be so rude, Blue, Blaine is merely showing his opinion. Did you not think that Regists and Gigagases would recieve this kind of challenges from those outside of our religion?"

She then turned to Blaine. "To answer your questions, all religions have 'sour grapes' of some kind. As for our restrictions, does it not occur to you that Fire, Electricity and Fighting destroys Ice, Steel and Rock, respectively? If we are to follow the great Regis, and Regigagas himself, how can we possess any of the three elements that would so easily destroy our great gods?

"I am not certain you are aware of the legend that surrounds Regism either; Arceus was a tyrant, Regigigas' benevolence lead him to come and stop Arceus, and to free this world from the suffering which Arceus was creating and using to destroy this world's people and Pokemon alike. If Regigagas had never arrived, do you believe we would still be here? Even though his efforts were in vain, Arceus continues until this day to seek Regigigas, and it is this search which is saving our people. Faith will restore Regigigas, and faith will ensure that he wins Arceus in the rematch, and make the world a better place. We are doing this for the good of our people, and indeed for the future of Pokemon too." She said all this without so much as blinking, and there was a small fire dancing in her eyes; it was fair to say that she actually was enjoying this little argument of theirs.

Again Noriko wanted to laugh but didn't. It was amazing how many stories the religions have with the pokemon, and how they differ; some more dramatically than others. "But either way I don't see it as nothing but fiction." Noriko sighed to herslef, wondering when they were going to be leaving. It was starting to become increasingly boring, and listening to another person's conversation wasn't her idea of a time passer. Besides, even if she wanted to join the conversation she wouldn't because that Regiana girl looked like someone she wouldn't get along with. She seemed too high manatince, and being the daughter of the Ice Master, as she is always proclaiming when she introduces herself, only furthered Noriko's perception of her. Not only that but Regiana didn't seem to notice her anyway, which made it all the better as far as Noriko was concerned. "Not like it would matter. I doubt we'd even see half of these people after the two weeks are up."

Blue blushed, he really wasn't used to talking to others and already he felt like he overstep his bounds. "I'm sorry Regiana... you probably think I lack proper manners after that out burst huh?" The trainer hung his head, he didn't want Regiana to see him a rose-like red color. "I'm sorry to you... um.. I didn't exactly get your name did I? As you probably heard my name is Blue and I was a bit of a late arrival to the academy," Blue stated as he held out his hand for Blaine to shake, while still hiding his head of course.

Since Cage wasn't replying C.B. simply shrugged and ran back to where Blaine, Regiana, and Blue were conversing. The little Wynaut was hoping that theses trainers would have pokemon that would want to play.

The boat soon left the shore and was on its merry way towards Seafoam. Except for the religious discussion going on between some of the students there wasn't much going on, people took the opportunity to relax in the sun and tan a bit as well as playing around with their pokémon. The boat ride wasn't a long one and within twenty minutes they had arrived to Seafoam.

The students had been informed on the boat that they could take some time to just relax and explore the surrounding area on their own for a while, as long as they didn't enter the caves. "I want everyone to gather by the entrance to the cave over there within twenty minutes and I would recommend that you save the swimming for after we have come back out from the caves or you will be mighty cold in there" Donovan bellowed as the students were starting to disembark the ship, strolling about on the beaches and some climbing the small cliffs to enjoy the view.

Amaya had gotten off the ship quite early and was walking along the shore, collecting sea shells she thought were pretty. Her grandmother had once taught her how to make necklaces and bracelets with them and she figured she could make some when they got back, if she could find enough that was. She doubted it would be any trouble though as there seemed to be an abundance of nice looking ones scattered on the beach.

Blaine didn't shake Blue's hand. It wasn't totally out of rudeness- Blaine just didn't notice meek people sometimes. When there was something at hand -an intellectual problem perhaps, or even an interesting matter of study- he tended to filter out unnecessary details from his world until he was finished.

And talking religion with Princess was an interesting matter of study, if nothing else.

"Well yes," he started, hesitating only a brief second to compile the facts in his head. "But Ice, Steel and Rock are vulnerable to quite a bit else aside from those three. Ice in particular is a rather fragile element, typically better on the offensive than it is on the defensive- both rock and steel, in fact, can take care of it quite handily."

He touched the side of his sun glasses, as was usual, and smirked a bit. "Cinnabar myth tends to tell that story a little differently, when it does at all. Regigigas was created by Arceus to carve and shape the continents, but when he was finished, he was insulted that weak mortals would live on the land he created and tried to destroy them- Arceus interceded and, after a minor struggle, split him into three and hid him away far from mortal eyes. After all mortal kind is dead and gone, Arceus will allow the pieces of Regigigas to come together and dissemble the earth, so they can start again. His job is necessary, but not the kind of thing we want to see come back early," he chuckled.

"Mind you, good luck finding that legend written down somewhere here. Cinnabar religious practice is almost solely concerned with the bird trio- even Ho-oh doesn't get the attention that Moltres does."

A thought occurred to him. He reached into a pocket, and after a few seconds, pulled out what appeared to be a thick golden coin with a stylized symbol pressed into the bottom- it showed a flame-winged bird flying in a spiral, holding a long vine with a delicate flower blossom in a swordlike beak. "Heck, even my family's symbol is Moltres," he chuckled, before noticing the coast of Seafoam. When the boat docked with a lurch, he chuckled a little.

"Though, on trips this near Seafoam, a prayer to Articuno is more proper. Or a song, more likely. Sailors have a lot of supersticians about sailing near these isles..." he muttered, looking at the familiar mountainous hills.

He felt a slightly cool breeze, which was a lot more sneer than Cinnabar's coast. There was less underwater volcanic activity here, so even if the weather was still balmy, the waters still had an ocean's chill to them.

Ilia trilled happily in the air, and Blaine gave a slight smile and rubbed beneath her neck. The vulpix dropped to the ground and stretched out, sniffing the sea air.

"Apology accepted." I suppose I was a bit too quick to judge Blue ... maybe he really does have some standards. Probably not that much though; I'd say he has more than that Micky; he's probably on the same level as Amaya.

Regiana's eyes seemed to dangerously narrow as she listened to Blaine. "I think you will find that when we return to my homeland, unless you wish to attract trouble for yourself, it is best to keep your 'story' unspoken. I cannot understand how you could possibly believe that Arceus created Regigigas; Arceus is the great enemy, Regigigas is our saviour."

By the time they had arrived at Seafoam, the argument was still ringing in Regiana's head; she had predicted that some kind of challenge would happen, but it was interesting to see how Blaine and herself, though somewhat similar in background, were totally different on views such as religion. She then said to him, "Moltres? I pressume your family are Ho-ohists?" She vaguely knew of that religion, and unsurprisingly despised it; to them, Ho-oh was a devil, an evil follower of Arceus.

Blue sighed, he hated being ignored. It didn't exactly help that he felt like the outcast of the group because he came late, but Blaine completely looking over him didn't exactly him. "Well.. it looks like we are at the island... C.B. hop on," The trainer kneeled, letting the Wynaut jump on to his shoulders. "Are you two coming? Or are you two just going to stay on the boat the whole time?" Although Blue was really hoping they would come, it might have seemed like he was the loner type but in honesty he hated being alone and wanted to prevent that while on the island. "That reminds me Regiana, I would still let to get to know you better. Maybe me and you can meet up when they let us roam around in the cave?"

C.B. yawned, he could tell that Blue was distressed but he was honestly used to it by now. He was just wishing his trainer would grow up already.

Micky sighed as he watched Blaine and Regianna bicker over religions. It was a stupid thing to argue about, and extremely Trivial at any case. They were mere legends, and even if they were real, it's in the past. The here and Now is what matters, and what'll happen in the future. Maybe they'd have flying cars, and robots. Or maybe the only advance would be making marmalade taste nice. Who knows. Micky shrugged as they landed at Seafoam, putting his guitar back in it's case. He hadn't actually played it on the boat, too busy thinking, so no-one had heard him play. Not that it bothered Micky, he just realised that no-one at the school had heard him play his guitar. He was just the guy with the Guitar on his back. He sighed and walked off the boat, looking around for Amaya. When he spotted her, he calmly walked over and tapped her on the shoulder. "I heard you wanted a Spheal. We're supposed to go in groups to find them, so you want to come with me?" He asked, trying not to blush, and almost succeeding. Atleast, he only had a slight red flush over his face, not the bright purple it would normally be.

((OOC: lolo wtf purple blush? xD))

Maya jumped slightly as she was tapped on the shoulder very suddenly (the one that Medea wasn't perched upon) and she yipped slightly in shock, dropping some sea shells in the process. As she turned around to find Micky she was relieved though, not that she could think of anything dangerous that would tao her shoulder before actually eat her. Because she couldn't see a murderer creeping up on a victim and tapping them on the shoulder going; "excuse me miss, would it be alright if I stabbed and violated your body?". She almost snickered at this thought, but managed not to in order to not be the girl that bursts out laughing for no apparent reason. "I'd love to try to get one, they are awfully adorable" she stated, keeping herself from letting out a squee over just thinking of how cute the small ball like seals were. "Really, you'd help me? That's so nice of you!" She exclaimed, almost jumping up and hugging him over this, but she restrained herself from doing so. That would be terribly inappropriate, given that they had been friends for such a short amount of time.

Medea rolled her eyes at Maya's obliviousness once more. She couldn't believe that she had no idea Micky was just doing this because he was interested in her, the boy was blushing all the time when he was around her and was super nice to her, how could she possibly not notice? She shook her head slightly and let out a sigh. She was also a bit offended that Micky seemed to think she couldn't handle a battle on her own, she was perfectly capable of taking care of herself! The amounts of caterpies she had eaten shoul be proof of that!

((OOC: I f***ing love Medea xD))

"I'll try and keep that in mind," he said with a chuckle. He would have added that she should probably refrain from badmouthing Arceus or any of his servants while in Kanto -especially a relatively small population center like Cinnabar- but he figured that went without saying.

He fiddled with the gold seal in his hand for a moment, tossed it in the air and caught it befor ehe put it away in his pocket. "Yeah. Most of Cinnabar's a Ho-ohist to at least some degree; you'll see small shrines dedicated to him here and there," he chuckled, "But the only one worth mentioning is Moltres' shrine atop the volcano. Most notable shrine to the Servant of Fire in Kanto. I should show it to you sometime- It'd be a learning experience," he said with a smirk, walking towards the door of the boat. He figured Princess likely bad about as much knowledge of Ho-ohism as he did of Regism.

The sand on the shore was reasonably cool he could tell, though he was wearing shoes. Illia dropped down from his shoulders and glanced around the familiar scenery with an odd look- she stared at the caves in distaste and gave her trainer a curious look.

Blaine chuckled. "No worries, Little Lady. No need for you to go in there if you don't want to."

The vulpix nodded and curled up, looking sleepy again.

"...I'll just take Nero instead."

She opened an annoyed eye at him, but with a vulpine huff, got up again and rubbed against his legs. He chuckled, bent down and rubbed behind her ear. "Thought you'd come around, eh?"

Noriko took her time leaving the boat and took in the surroundings on the island. It was a nice island with plenty of space, and a breath taking view of the ocean - which she would expect considering that it was an island completely surrounded by water. The trees were tall and bright green, no doubt due to the close proximity of a water source. "It wouldn't be bad to take a small vacation on this island." Noriko mused to herself looking down at Pixie who was looking around just as curious.

"I'm glad to see you're enjoying yourself as well. Though I hope you remain that way when we go into those caves." Pixie looked up at her trainer and gave the impression of a glare as she was indicating her dislike of caves. Pixie hated it when anyone pointed out any sort of weakness of hers. She was a proud pokemon, and did her best to remain in control, and always gave her all in battling and training. Noriko thought it was both entertaining and interesting at how pokemon can have human-like personalities. She remembered she did a study of that for a paper in school, but in the end got an "F" because it wasn't "school worthy material".

"Maybe we should practice a few of your moves before we go in there. We haven't really practiced since before we left Pewter city." Pixie perked up hearing this.

"Vul!" Noriko smiled.

"I'm glad you agree. Let's walk a little ways down the shore line." They did so, but on their walk she saw Ayame collecting seashells. Noriko didn't want any distractions so she turned around and went the opposite way, though before she did she saw Mikey walk up to Ayame.

"This looks like a good enough place to get in a little warm up." They may only know two attacks but you didn't need a lot of attacks, you just needed to know how to use them and maximize the power and versatility of the attacks. Thats what Noriko believed anyway.

Regiana appeared disgusted. "I will never enter the temple of a demon! Did you believe I would betray my own religion by even looking at the very devil that is helping Arceus seek our Regis? Never!" Her usual respect for Blaine clearly crumpled at their conflicting religions, although it was more than likely that they would get along again once they were no longer discussing such a sensitive issue as religion.

Regiana promptly disboarded, offended by such a thought from Blaine. She was half-hoping that Blue would follow; whilst she was still angry, having company from someone who was religion-neutral would calm her down much quicker.

"Not even to get a better look at what it is that you're spending so much time hating on? Suit yourself, I guess," he muttered. He was mildly disappointed that the princess didn't have any scholarly interest in Ho-ohism in the same way he was intrigued by Regism, but supposed he couldn't always have his own way. Besides, he wasn't terribly surprised that she wanted to stay ignorant- most people did, unfortunately.

"C'mon, Ilia," he said, beckoning the Vulpix to his heels. That was probably why he got along better with pokemon than he did with people. People made presumptions, were uninteresting and lacked the curiosity that he thought was the spark of life. That was what he hated about his family, and people who talked about his family- they knew about things, but didn't want to know any more about things then they already did. They followed tradition, instead of seeking out something new.

"Something new..." Blaine let the words tease his lips, and he grinned. That was it. Those were the words he'd been searching for, why he started this entire mess in the first place. Why he followed his heart, why he wanted to leave the familiar coasts of Cinnabar, heck, why he found Princess interesting in the first place.

"I need to find something new," he said with a grin. He walked off in the sand somewhere, he didn't know where, Ilia on his heels.

((OOC: I'm going to try to heave the 2-3 posting rule for a while, just to see if it'll speed up a bit. The RP is extremely slow moving atm, if it goes crazy I might put it back into action though. But I guess people might be able to restrain themselves from causing several pages of posts? no? meh, I'll try anyways! :D))

Amaya had walked away from Micky after a while of chatting to collect more seashells, something she had guessed he wouldn't be too interested in. Boys didn't seem to have a big interest for such things most of the time, probably something Y-chromosome related. She had found quite a few by now and felt pleased with the diversity and amount she had, as such she placed them in a small jar she had within her bag and decided to start walking back towards the area where they had gotten off the boat. It would probably be time to go into the cave soon anyways. She smiled at the thought of it, soon she'd be standing within the very cave that Articuno was rumored to once have nested in. Some said that it was still nesting there, or at least visiting every now and then, but she didn't really believe that. Nobody had ever claimed to see Articuno within the cave and such a big bird wouldn't really be invisible.

"Pixie use Ember right after Tackle!" Noriko yelled at Pixie, whom at the moment was in the water. She figured that if they used the water as a resistant, then Pixie in turn could get faster. Water resistant training was much more efficient that wind resistant training in normal conditions. If the wind was stronger then different equations would apply, and at the moment it wasn't really important.

Pixie ran through the water, comsiderably slower than normal, and jumped in the air performing her tackle attack. Before she landed a particularly large wave crashed into her, knocking her out of the air. "Thats ok Pixie! Next time try to push through the water!" Pixie replied with a loud, "Vul!" Before getting back up and to perform her ember attack. Pixie was waiting for another wave large enugh to rise up, and when it did she charged up, fire swirling in front of her open mouth. It continued to grow until it was roughly the size of a softball - but slightly bigger. She fired the ball at the wave but it was instantly vaporized and Pixie was hit with the wave sending her crashing back to the shore.

"Pixie!" Noriko yelled running over to make sure her Vulpix was ok. "Maybe we should take a brake. You have been at this for about 5 minutes, and water is your natural weakness. Besides this is only supposed to be a warm up anyway."

"Vulpix!" Pixie tried to protest standing back up on shakey legs, only to fall back down. Noriko wasn't surprised considering how many waves Pixie was hit with in the pass five or so minutes. "How about some of my special pokemon food. There's still a bit more before we're out of the spicy ones. Then you'll have to wait until we get back home before I can make any more."

Pixie sighed and decided to rest like her trainer said. Noriko smiled and placed some of the food on the ground, so that Pixie can eat them.

Lyla was still standing on the boat, the fresh air was quite cleansing. Besides, it's not as if she was in any great hurry. She was using her free time to the fullest, before going in to capture her Zubat. She knew a bit about them, such as how they may be a bit weaker than the other pokemon available here, but the final results make training one much more worth it. Her arms were resting upon the the metal railing as she watched the waves gently move up and down. This was something you would never see in Lavender, that cooped up little town. For once in her life, she was free.

Regiana was somewhat disappointed that Blue wasn't following, but she didn't care. Instead, she was focusing on the beaches; her desired Pokemon was a Feebas, and it seemed that despite their rarity, there were a good few there. She had heard Jane mention on the boat that there were whole schools of them at Seafoam; surely Regiana would be lucky enough to catch one by the end of the day?

"Oh hello Regiana dear!" she heard Jane suddenly cry. Regiana quietly sighed to herself; Valena looked disinterested and disappeared to poke at some Magikarps that had just faintly appeared nearer to them.

"Hello Mrs -"

"Now, now, you know I dislike being called Mrs Emmett! Honestly, you are young adults, not children."

"Hello Jane," Regiana corrected.

"Are you planning on catching something perchance? I know I am - why, I'll be on the back of my beloved Tropius as we fly out to find a Tentacool." Regiana understandably looked confused - there had been no mentions of Tentacools - but Jane promptly explained that they did exist at Seafoam. Regiana did ponder not telling Jane, but when she quickly realised that the latter would be able to have a good birds-eye view of the ocean, she told the older woman that she wanted a Feebas. "Oh, really? I've never had a student who's wanted a Miltoc before! Most of them go for Gyaradoses - well, I'm not surprised, but I do find that Miltocs are much much prettier and certainly as powerful as a Gyarados. Well, did you know there are schools of them out in the sea? No? Oh, wait, you probably don't, nobody ever knows, how silly of me to ask you a question like that! Well, I shall do my best to help you find one - the occasional Feebas does wander away from the party, you know. Besides, I have helped find a desired Pokemon before; a boy - I think his name was Lee - two years ago wanted a Magikarp, and we only managed to catch one literally ten minutes before the ship left; of course, I was there, and it was ever so thrilling to be running desperately for the ferry! Well, if we do miss it this time, I'll just get Tropius to fly us back..."

Micky smiled as Amaya accepted his invitation, almost literally over the moon. He grinned again as he looked at her, jumping when his mareep, which had somehow burst from his pokéball, snickered at him, rubbing itself against his leg. "So then, what do you want to catch?" Micky asked, kneeling down as Amaya walked off to collect seashells. Mareep sort of baaed in a confused way, obviiously indecisive. "I dont know either." Micky muttered, looking over to Amaya. He looked at the seashells she was collect, most actually looked quite pretty, before noticing something out of the corner of his eyes. When he looked down he noticed a eautiful shell, next to his foot. He didn't know if Amaya would like it, but he thought she would. It was Rainbow coloured, for crying out loud. He picked it up carefully, and walked over to Amaya. "Want this?" He asked, offering the Rainbow Shell.
