Master Red
Medea, whom was perched on the railing to the top bunk of Amaya's bed, had opened an eye to glare a bit at Regiana as she first said she was surprised at Amaya having a Murkrow instead of a Ghost but she decided to forgive her as she did say that she meant no disrespect to her, she aws probably just poorly educated when it came to Amaya's beliefs. "Don't worry about it, I take no offense to that statement and I guess that people that aren't very familiar with the religion would believe that most of us own a ghost type." Amaya started, then having to clear her throat a little as it was starting to get a little dry, probably due to her starting to get tired. "While everyone that answers to Yureism would be very honored to own a ghost type it is not as common as one might think. Ghosts are holy beings you see and capturing one without it's consent is strictly forbidden in our religion and it could also be highly dangerous. Capturing a spirit that does not wish to be capture can bring grave misfortune upon not only the capturer but also their family and the spirits of their ancestors." Amaya continued, explaining to Regiana why owning a ghost type pokémon isn't as common as she seemed to think. "The reason to why I have Medea is that my parents gave her to me and Murkrows, along with other Dark types, are often kept by believers as well to give additional protection from malevolent spirits." Amaya explained, looking up quickly at the top bunk to look at the Murkrow sitting up there, cleaning her feathers.
Naimo
"Oh, I see." Regiana stiffled a yawn, and then checked her clock. "Look at the time, it's late. Well, I shall trouble you no more." Then she added, with some delicacy, "Good night." She tossed herself over so that her back was facing Amaya, and she begun to try and sleep, although Amaya's answers were still fresh in her mind. So, she was a Yureist ... that would make her interesting to study. Very interesting. Valena looked at Medea, gave her a nod that meant 'good night to you too', and she jumped onto the empty top bunk. With her tail, she managed to crumple the bedsheet so as to make herself a comfortable little den, and she curled up into a ball, not dissimilar to the way a cat would curl up. It was nothing grand compared to her old bed, but this would do. At least the mattress was soft.
Magnet Soldier
"YAAAAAWN" Sunlight was streaming in through the nearby window, blinding Micky for a few seconds. After stretching his arms a bit and rubbing his eyes, he finally realised that it was morning. First day at the Trainers school. More importantly, the trip to Seafoam. He stood up slowly and carefully, trying to avoid waking anyone up. He looked under his bed, thankfully finding that Shifty had rolled to the side, away from his Bag. He grabbed the bag and, quietly, pulled it out from under the bed. He grabbed some underwear, a pair of jeans and a plain shirt and walked out of the room, unsuccessfully trying to close the door silently, although it only made a quiet slam. He slowly walked down to the Showers at the end of the corridor, and stepped into one of the cubicles, throwing his clothes to one side and quickly undressing. As he exited the Shower, he could easily tell he spent a while in them, as the sun had risen much higher than it was when he'd woken. He quickly dressed before exiting the showers, walking down the stairs and entered the Common room. Seeing it was empty - according to the clock it was only 6:30 - he moved over to the large kitchen area. He grabbed himself a couple of slices of toast, throwing them into a toaster, before starting to make himself a coffee. By the time he'd finished his breakfast, it was 7 o'clock, and he thought he might aswell watch some Telly. He jumped down onto the sofa, which was, surprisingly, big enough to seat about 5 people, before grabbing the remote and flicking through the channels. Obviously, there wasn't much on. There wasn't in that day. But he had the news, so he simply put it on that, waiting for someone to wake up so he had someone to talk to.
Master Red
As Amaya woke up she took a look at her wrist watch, seeing it was 6:30 she decided to get up and start to get ready. She got up silently of course as Regiana seemed to be sleeping and Amaya knew that she very much liked to not wake her up. She rummaged through her bag, getting some clothes out for the day as well as a bikini in case she would feel like cooling off in the ocean or tanning a bit. She hadn't unpacked her clothes yesterday so she decided to at least sort them out a bit on her bed so she could just place them in the wardrobe later, still not wanting to risk waking Regiana up. As she had showered last night she deided not to shower right away and instead slipped into the bathroom to change out of her underwear and into the black bikini with white polka dot patterns on it as well as putting on the rest of her clothes. She had decided to go with a tan skirt along with a plain white tank top, feeling like these wouldn't cause her to get too warm when they were outside and they were also very comfortable, which would be preferable if they had to do a lot of walking. As she had unpacked her backpack she decided to put a towel and a sweater down so she could dry herself if she decided to swim as well as being able to pull something warm on when they were to travel within the caves. They were bound to be cold as Ice pokémon lived there, and the legend said that the coldness was originally caused when Articuno decided to take residence within it. Some said Articuno still lived within the caves, but Amaya found that highly unlikely as nobody had ever seen any traces of it anywhere. As she had gotten dressed she took a quick look in the mirror, fixing her make-up, brushing her teeth and putting on a fat dark green headband to keep her hair out of her face. She had considered using her favorite water lily hair clip, but she decided against it as it wouldn't go very well with her outfit and the headband would keep her hair in place a lot better. After throwing a hair brush into the bag and closing it up, she called a sleeping Medea into her pokéball and exited the room with the backpack swung over one shoulder, closing the door silently behind her. As she entered the common room/kitchen area she saw that Micky was lying on the couch, flipping through the channels. She didn't greet him as she doubted he'd seen her and she was dying to eat something so she simply put her bag down by one wall and entered the kitchen, starting to rummage through the cupboards and the fridge. After checking the quite sparse supplies for breakfast she decided to go with some yoghurt and cereal. Sitting down by the table she started to look through a news paper that laid there, it was from yesterday but it would do for now at least. fenrir
Cage had not returned to the dorm room after his trip to the bathroom. He was lying parallel behind the couch on the floor, wide awake. If anyone dared to pull off his shades, they would realize he was glaring at everyone. He was still very much in his pajamas, with his 6 o'clock shadow being very, very obvious. He had made no comment when Micky entered the room, and for the most part he had no knowledge of Amaya entering it as well. He grunted once, then turn around to face the backside of the couch. A few minutes of just lazing around and he got up. He didn't bother to change, instead he went straight for the fridge. Food would surely get his mind off of things. The Warden
Lyla had risen at six o'clock, not by her own volition, as Myst had seen it fit to camp near her sometime during the night. After that she couldn't fall asleep, ghosts do that to people, of course, she finally gave in after fifteen minutes of failed sleep. So, she made a quick prayer by the side of her bed before slipping into the shower, the warm water felt so very good during this late morning. She spent a good twenty minutes in there; aftwards, she returned to wearing her kimono, which was completely uncreased despite sleeping in it. Following that she dug around in her bag, hoping to not wake up Noriko with her rummaging. It was the trip to the Seafoam Islands, and she was going to catch a Zubat. Even though the caves are cold, she probably wouldn't have to go too far, those guys are everywhere in a cave. Course, there was also the idea of getting a Tentacool as well. But then, they're also everywhere in any body of sea. Seeing everything was alright, she left her dorm and quietly closed the door behind her. Myst moved through the wall to follow her down into the joint area. It seemed Micky was already there, not that she knew his name course. It seemed the girl she saw earlier was down there too, eating cereal. This made Lyla question what supplies was there for breakfast. Inevitably she settled with some toast and what she hoped was apple juice. Myst meanwhile floated down in front of Cage, he was snickering. Hotaru987
Like she normally does, Noriko woke up at 5:30 in the morning. It was natural for her to wake up so early because she was usually helping her mother in the pokemon center, so her internal clock seemed to be stuck at 5:30 no matter how late she went to sleep. It was rare that she ever woke up past 5:40. Today, however, she was going to allow herself to get some more sleep. It wouldn't do any good if she was dead on her feet when trying to catch her pokemon - though how she managed to think of all that when she was still having trouble seeing clearly. So her eyes closed once again and Noriko fell back to sleep. The next time Noriko woke up was to Pixie constantly jumping on her stomach, and yelling "Vuuull!!" in her hear, which Noriko was positive ment "Wake up!!. With a groan and a sigh Noriko rolled herself out of bed just in time to hear the door close. It must have been Lyla just leaving the room. With a slight shrug Noriko dragged herself over to the shower, leaving Pixie to sit on the bed and wait. The shower was exactly what Noriko needed to get herself going. She left the bathroom with a wide smile and eyes wide and alive. "Hopefully after today we'll have another friend to add to the group, yeah Pixie." Noriko grinned shifting through her clothes - which she has yet to put into the dresser. She dressed in a white shirt, and a dark purple, dress that tightens up around the waist and then spreads out like a skirt that stops right above knees. This time she is wearing some white pants undernieth the skirt. The final piece to her wardrobe was a black headband - her signature accessory. Once she was dressed she and Pixie headed down stairs to see quite a few people already down there. She didn't really know any of their names, but knew them by face, pokemon and other distinctive features. She decided to head towards the kitchen as well, quickly getting a piece of toast before sitting down on one of the sofas watching as the guitar guy - She remembered Sam calling him Micky - flipped through the channels. Though she was looking at the TV she was only thinking of one thing - Seafoam Island.
Magnet Soldier
Micky sighed, listening to the noise of doors being opened and then closed upstairs. Originally, it was just the occasional one, but now it was happening rapidly, much louder and in quick concession. It wasn't exactly early, about 7:45, but he thought it seemed way too early for this amount of people to be waking up. Micky sighed again, switching the channel back to the news and placing the remote on the arm. If someone wanted to watch something else, they were free to change it. He sighed yet again and stood up, looking around the common room. There weren't that many people here after all, not in the main room at any rate. Just one or two. Being thirsty, Micky decided to go get a drink from the kitchen. There were a few people in there atleast. He noticed Cage and some girl that seemed to be the same religion as Amaya. Then, sitting at the table, he noticed the girl in person. Amaya herself. Micky walked over to the fridge, trying to keep his eyes off Amaya, and grabbed a can of some fizzy drink he'd never heard of. He sat down at the opposite side of the table than Amaya and grabbed one of the few copies of the day old Newspaper Amaya was reading, drinking his Drink slowly as he read, looking up at Amaya over the top of the Newspaper occasionally. Naimo
Regiana yawned as she got out of bed half an hour later than Amaya, yet was quick to make herself awake. She walked over to the wardrobe and donned on the "power suit" she had worn yesterday for about an hour. The heels, however, remained tucked away; instead, she went with a pair of sapphire-azure flat shoes. They were much more appropriate for walking. "Good morning," she said as Valena playfully jumped onto her shoulders. She responded with a delicate "Arctix!" and rubbed the side of her face against Regiana's cheekbones. She soon leapt off again to allow Regiana space to put on the appropriate makeup. Now that she was ready, she made her way to the common room where Micky, Amaya, Cage, Lyla, and Noriko already were. She said nothing to any of them - she didn't even know Lyla and Noriko existed - and halted. Ah. It hadn't struck Regiana that she would have to sort out her breakfast for herself. Back at home, it would either already be done for her, or she would order the nearest butler/maid to inform the kitchen about what she wanted. Sighing, Regiana opened the cupboards, and to some disgust, found a loaf of already sliced bread. It was still fresh, but given the lack of eggs or bacon, it seemed she would have to make do with ... well, just toast with butter. There was a toaster nearby, but this posed yet another problem. Sheepishly, Regiana turned around to whoever was sat at the table, and said to them, "Erm ... heh, er ... how do you use the toaster?"
fenrir
Cage pulled out three malt bottles, all of them were stashed by him when he was unpacking. He held them in between his fingers and spun around, ignoring the Ghastly. His original plan was to make a beeline for the other couch and claim it all. Noriko could have the other couch for all he cared. Upon walking past the table he caught what Regiana had said. He gave the girl a glare, still frightened by the dream, and muttered, "Put the pieces of toast in the slots and press down the tab on it's side. When it's ready it will spring up and make a noise." With that he quickly walked away towards his couch. He made a mental note to avoid Regiana for the remainder of his time at the school. Upon reaching the couch, he decided he would release Tyrant for a while. The larvitar looked around upon release and upon realizing the Wynaut was absent, climbed onto an arm of the couch. Master Red
Amaya hadn't heard Regianas question as she usually aws very hard to contact when she read. She always spaced out in a sense when she was reading, she still gathered the information from what she was reading but she hardly took any notice at all to what happened around her. It was due to this she could never read when inside of a bus or some other form of public transport, she always ended up missing her stop. She knew someone had sat down in front of her, but as she was focused on reading she didn't know whom, she was too engulfed in an article about Team Rocket. They were constantly in the news nowadays, being up to some shenanigans. This time, it seemed, they had stolen some of the prize pokémon from a casino in Neon City, all of them being pokémon that had been imported especially from the far away region of Unova. Amaya crinkled her nose a little at this, she didn't really think it seemed right to gamble for pokémon but stealing them was surely thousands times worse. She had finished her cereal by the time she had read the article and then eyed through the rest, which was mostly uninteresting. As she closed up the newspaper she threw an eye at her wrist watch and noted it was already 7:45 and the boat to seafoam was to leave at 8:30. 45 minutes to get to the harbor then, that should surely be enough? Aesirson
Vector was already at the harbor, as he was staying at a hotel not very far from it. He was leaning towards a wall, taking a smoke while Private wildly ran around chasing different flying Pokémon. Vector just stood there and watched. He remembered how he had met Private. She had been attacked by her own kin for being "weak". Vector had helped her change that, and she had then joined him on his way back to Kanto. He threw the cig away and looked for any kids who had arrived early.
Hydra of Ages
Blaine, like usual, got up like a crazy person. Scenes flashed by his eyes, though it was difficult to sequence them at times. Vague flahes of Ilia's teeth, his clothing being haphazardly assembled into the order that would eventually create the greaser that was 'Blaine', a shower with the heat turned up until he was given a thick cover of fog and a comb passed by his eyes at random intervals, not necessarily in the way you would expect. In any case, it all worked out in the end- he left looking at least fairly decent, and his hair had lost most of its signature grease, doing wonders for his look even if he didn't know it. He opened the doors of the common room with a bang. "Gooood morning!" he said cheerily, Illia following at his heels with a foxlike grin. "Vul!" she chirped, a long red bow having been tied to one of her tails at some point, and her bandanna replaced with a more scarflike item. Blaine was a morning person. Those few hours when the sun peeked over the horizon, he was filled with an unknowable exuberance, a passion that was bottled up as the day progressed, and even the 'cool' personae he tried to give off couldn't contain. He quite literally could find nothing wrong after a good nap and his flames being recharged. "Morning, Regiana," he chirped before moving to the fridge and frowning a little. Their selection left a bit to be desired, he guessed, but a true warrior could make a meal out of anything. He noticed a forlorn carton of eggs in a corner, and his eyes lit up. He quickly assembled a variety of spices from the shelves, most having plainly sat there for what was likely years without being used, and cracked a couple yolks into an old pan he found hanging on a wall. The stove they had was old and small, but it worked like a charm after Blaine lit the pilot light with a spare match- soon, the scent of cooked eggs and spices filled the air. "Anyone up for Cinnabar Style Eggs?" he asked, cracking an additional egg as the others began to solidify.
Naimo
Regiana blinked, half-furiously half-stupidly, as she heard just how simple it was to use a toaster. The machine certainly looked more complex than Cage had described it. She proceeded to use it anyway, and being unused to doing all the rough work herself, had to use both hands to push down on the lever. As she straightened herself, and brushed her hair out of her face, she jumped as Blaine suddenly spoke to her. "Oh, good morning Blaine," she said to him, turning round as she did so. "Cinnabar style eggs? No thank you, I don't feel like having eggs for today." She stood back slightly and observed Blaine cook; she had rarely been in a kitchen before, and it was fascinating how easy it seemed to just ... cook something. During this time, her toast was done, and as it sprung up, she half-screamed and jumped, reacting as if a nest of Beedrills were heading towards her. She had to breathe deeply in order to calm down when she realised that it was just the toaster, and Valena gently rubbed her body against her mistress' leg in concern. "It's alright Valena," said Regiana as she grabbed a plate. "It's just the toast." She reached for it, and immediately retracted from the heat; she had never expected it to be this hot. She left it for several more seconds, and then pulled them out and onto the plate. She subsequently found butter and a knife, and was about to leave when it dawned that she had not yet had her tea. Another search of the cupboards was conducted, and as Regiana found the teabags (and only a mug, as there were no visible cups and saucers around, which was highly disappointing), yet another problem struck her. Seeing as Blaine was still in the kitchen, she turned to him. "Blaine, how do you make tea?"
Master Red
As the other's still seemed to be eating Amaya decided to wash up after herself and then head to her dorm again, brushing her teeth once more and visiting the bathroom just so she wouldn't have to later. As she had touched up her make-up once more she headed back to the common room once again and released Medea from her pokéball. Medea looked around in the room, a bit confused as she had gone to sleep in their nest and now she was in another room. She shrugged this off however and flew up to sit on Amaya's shoulder, giving a caw as she sat down to signal her entrance in the room. Because, her prencense was surely important to everyone in the room. "Hey, I was thinking of walking down to the harbor so if any of you're done with breakfast you're free to join me" She said, swinging her backpack up on her shoulder and looking at the small crowd that had now gathered in the room. She made a mental note to herself to find a small purse or something that she could use when she wasn't on the road, because walking around with a backpack this size at all times just looked silly. Hotaru987
Having been previously doing nothing, Noriko figured that heading to the harbor was probably a good idea. She glanced at the time - more than enough time to get down there. She stood up and walked over to Amaya - whom she over heard the name of when Micky was speaking. "I'll join you if you don't mind. I'm Noriko Tsubasa by the way, and if you don't mind me saying your Murkrow is very beautiful." She said looking over the pokemon on Amaya's shoulder. Noriko could tell the Murkrow was being well taken cared of, apparent by the obvious fondness between the two. Not only that but the coat was an astonishing black, and almost looks smooth to the touch - which Noriko refrained from doing as that would be rude. It's eyes were a glossy red, and the beak looked in healthy condition, and not cracked like she had seen some of the other Murkrows who often does battle. Even the talons on it's feet were nice and sharp. A brush against her leg pulled Noriko from her thoughts. "Sorry for staring." She said a bit sheepishly, "This is Pixie." From the tags around Amaya's neck she assumed she was yureist. Though Noriko always believed that Yuriest would have ghost pokemon with them - like Lyla. Maybe not all of them had one....Ghost pokemon are considered deities, so maybe some people just have too much respect for them to actually capture one. Well either way it wasn't any of her buisness, and to be truthful religious beliefs wasn't her main priority when picking out books to read. Hydra of Ages
"Suit yourself," Blaine remarked when Regiana turned down eggs, then proceeded to add the cheese (though he found almost none) and veritable buckets of Cinnabar Special hotsauce, which gave the eggs their distinctive flavor of burning through your tongue. He had being transferring the mass of food onto his plate when he heard Regiana inquire about making tea. He gave her a bemused look (though his sunglasses, newly shined, once again obscured his eyes) and retrieved the kettle from the spot atop the stove. He shook it twice, and upon determining it was empty, filled it up and put on the hotspot his pan had just been atop. "Wait for that to start whistling, then poor the hot water into your mug. Put the teabag in, wait for it to steep, then remove it and add milk or whatever you usuall have in your tea, Princess," he instructed. It felt odd directing someone on something so trivial, but he could only determine she'd been sheltered from such common tasks- which was odd, because even in his own privileged lifestyle, he'd learned how to make tea. Master Red
"I'm Amaya Kurosawa, pleased to meet you" Amaya said, bowing her head down a little in a greeting. Medea was smirking and tilting her head up proudly from the compliment she had been given by this new girl. She liked her, she was obviously smart enough to appreciate real beauty when she came across it and it was nice being complemented every once in a while. The time and effort she put down on making her feathers look brilliant sure as hell demanded it! "Oh, thank you, and I doubt Medea will mind you staring after complimenting her, isn't that right Medea?" Amaya looked at the Murkrow on her right shoulder and Medea looked back at her and cawed happily. "Just as I thought then" Amaya laughed and then gave Medea some of the cereal she had stacked away in her pockets earlier while making breakfast. She knew that Medea would go really cranky if she didn't get anything to eat soon, not even a complement would keep her from throwing tantrums then. "Your Vulpix is very beautifl too" Amaya, stated as she looked down at Noriko's pokémon by her legs. She couldn't really say that it was prettier than any other Vulpix, as she wasn't especially familiar with the species. And she doubted she would be able to tell from a pokémon's coat that it was being well taken care of. She'd be able to tell if it was in a poor condition of course, like if it was dirty and shaggy but she didn't know how some people could tell that pokémon were even prettier than usual. Maybe that was a good thing too? She wouldn't be able to rank beauty within species of pokémon nor would she be able to get jealous if someone had a Murkrow that had a "better" and "more beautiful" plummage than Medea. "Well if nobody else wants to join us I guess we'll be off then" She stated, taking a big gulp of air and then looking back at the others by the table. "See you all on the boat!" she called, before walking to the door and opening it.
Hotaru987
"Thank you." Noriko said grinning. Pixie, and Chu - her Pichu back in Pewter - were her pride, and it was her duty as a trainer and a future pokemon breeder to know how to properly care for any pokemon. No matter what it may be. Pixie was staring up at Madea in curiosity. It was her first time seeing a pokemon such as Madea - the only other flying pokemon it was used to was a Pigiot and their evolutions. Though it didn't seem to have the same temperment as a Pigiot, and it was an entirely different color. In fact, Madea almost had a menacing look to him. Noriko held up a peace sign, as she followed right beside Amaya. "I know you probably get this a lot - or maybe not - but I was wondering. Aren't Yureist supposed to have ghost type pokemon. Not to down grade the advantages, and uniquness of a Murkrow, but I always beieved that it was ghost pokemon the Yureist really focus on." She hoped she didn't seem to rude, or ignorant. She was always told that when you have a question just go ahead and ask it. Pixie walked silently next by her trainer, tail and head held high in the air. Pixie wasn't a very snooty, or unptight pokemon, but she did take pride in herself. And despite not enjoying the extreme pampering Noriko provides, she will admit, she does like the outcome. The Warden
'Yureist's will very rarely have a ghost type' Lyla said from behind Noriko. She had floated over there in the small room after hearing her question. There was a piece of toast in her hand. 'A ghost pokemon may only be captured if they are willingly captured; due to their sacred nature, capturing a ghost type in Pokemon Tower or one that does not wish to be captured is considered an ill omen; as Pokemon Tower is their sacred home or because captuing an evil spirit would bring misfortune onto you. And, from what I understand, ghost pokemon very rarely visit Maiden's Peak, aside from the Kimono Festival where spiritual energy is at its highest' she explained.
Master Red
Amya nodded at Lyla's statement, letting out a small "mhm" to show that she agreed with what was being said. "Ghost Pokémon are perhaps not as common in Maiden's Peak as in Lavender Town and Pokémon Tower, but there are quite a few around even when the Kimono Festival isn't in session." She corrected Lyla, whom probably was from Lavender Town and by her experience Maiden's Peak probably had very few ghosts, but they had a few. "They sometimes drift through the village but they mostly keep to themselves near the monument and the shrine on the cliff" She explained and then gave Medea another piece of cereal which she happily munched on. "And even if we have ghost types around my village you may not catch them inside of the village or by the monument, as these are sacred grounds. If a ghost pokémon should happen to follow you as you leave the village you are encouraged to capture it however" Amaya continued, reciting the rules of her village and religion for the others. She was surprised Lyla didn't seem to know very much about Maiden's Peak, as a fellow Yureist she should have been there for the Kimono Festival at least once in her life. This was peculiar, but she chose not to question Lyla about it, at least not now. Medea was happily eating the cereal that Amaya had treated her to. They were quite sweet and tasted like heaven according to her and as she finished one she nudged Amaya's head with her beak to signal she wanted more. "Breakfast for a queen" she giggled happily as she got more cereals to munch on, this was a good morning indeed.
Magnet Soldier
Micky sighed and shook his head to Blaine's offer of 'Cinnabar Style' Eggs. "Not a big fan of eggs, to be honest." Micky stated, finishing the last drops of his Coke as Amaya, Noriko and Lyla prepared to leave for the Harbour. He had atleast 45 minutes, at most, to get down there, so there was no hurry, but he felt he might aswell take a break outside. The weather seemed lovely, and the view from the windows inside looked great, so he was curious about what it looked like from outside. But first, he had to wake up his Pokémon. Micky sighed and stood up, walking to the stairs to his dorm and walking into his room. He grabbed his guitar case and a few things from his Backpack, including some Potions and Antidotes, before donning his Denim Jacket and crouching down to reach under the bed, waking Shifty up. "Come on. We're going to a cave today, so I think you'll like it." Micky whispered, watching with a smile, he could quite hold back his amusement, as the Shifty groggily crawled out from under the bed, bumping into Sparky. "Saved me a job." Micky muttered, before taking out two pokéballs and returning the Pokémon to their respective balls. "Well then, let's go." He said, walking out of the Dorm and towards the exit from the building, walking to a nearby tree and sitting under it, grabbing his guitar off his back and, as he commonly did, started to play some random, relaxing tune on it, humming along. "We'll go when the crowds start leaving. For now, you two enjoy the sun." Micky said, laughing as Sabelly rushed, nearly screaming, into the shadow of the tree, away from the sunlight. fenrir
Cage looked up at the mention of 'eggs'. "If you don't mind splitting," He raised himself from the couch with three now empty bottles in between his fingers. "Then yeah, why not?" He shuffled over to Blaine, dropping the bottles in the trash. Tyrant perked up at the sound of bottles crashing against something and leaped off his seat, trekking through the room to reach Cage, who was pouring a glass of water. The larvitar dove between his feet and stared at the door where the others were leaving. "Why were they going?" He pondered, was it back on the boat? Before the larvitar could think anymore, a rumbling sound broke the odd silence in the kitchen. Cage looked down, raising an eyebrow behind his shades. Tyrant looked sheepishly away. The Warden
'That's, correct' Lyla said, a little distraught that her lack of overall knowledge for Maiden's Peak was caught upon, at least so quickly. She chose to stay quiet on this, it was for the best anyways. She glanced at the clock on the wall, there was still a bit of time til they left for the Seafoam islands, how agonizing really. To take her focus off social matters, she talk to staring at the Murkrow. It was a pretty bird really, with a unique charm. She held her hand out to Medea. 'Nice to meet you' she said pleasantly. Naimo
Regiana was so taken aback by the simplicity of the task she completely overlooked the fact he had just called her Princess. Still, she waited patiently for the kettle, although when it started whistling, she half-cowered and covered her ears from the shock of hearing it go off at such a pitch. It was like the nest of Beedrills headed even closer to her, and it took a while before she grabbed the handle with a trembling arm. "Gah!" She had never expected that much water, and almost crashed the kettle onto the floor, had she not grasped onto the handle with her other arm. She groaned slightly as she strained to put it back onto the counter, eventually managing to do so. She put the teabag into the mug (as Blaine had said), and then attempted to pour the water in. Trying to do that must have been the equivalent of an ant lifting a grand piano; Regiana never had to fill anything with something that heavy, and it was a huge relief by the time she had finished. Why did everything have to sound so much easier than the task really was? She had no idea how long she was suppose to leave the teabag in, and by the time she declared it alright to take it out, and added in the milk and sugar, she took a sip and almost gagged. It was nothing like the usual tea she had, and she quickly found the reason for its disgusting flavour to be due to the brand, and that she had left the teabag in for too long. She largely blamed the first reason for its appalling quality; what kind of a brand was that?! She had never heard of it before, and quickly declared it to be 'cheap', and as we know, her tastes were much too aristocratic to accept cheapness. Grudgingly, she was forced to eating her toast with hardly anything to drink (for she only drank tea), and rather than sit with everyone else, sat in a corner. If anyone tried to approach her, they would have felt the rainclouds over her head. Eventually, she moved to darken the kitchen instead, and being incapable of washing the dishes, dumped them in the sink and walked away. It was about time to start leaving for Seafoam anyway.
