[s]I totally want an interview, and someone better nominate me! D:<[/s]

I feel as if, and this is a problem with all YCM Interview threads, the questions are a.) in very little quantity, and b.) do not pertain to the user. If you interviewed me and asked me a single question about Custom Cards or Graphic Design, I would delete the private message on the spot and ignore any further private messages. The point of an interview is to learn things about people that you wouldn't have known if the interview was never taken. Since I'm obviously a very angry person, possibly ask what angers me the most, or what are my political views on xyz topic that was somehow never brought up in YCM.

But not only do you need to have better quality questions, you also need to have more questions. If this is a weekly basis, which I feel is the best course of action, each interview should be jam-packed with as many relevant questions as you can think of. Don't just say "five questions is enough", when it really isn't. The more questions you have, the better the interview will be, so long as the questons are of a decent or better quality. This is been a recurring issue with every YCM interview thread, and because no one has fixed there two overarching problems, each and every one of the threads has closed down.

Just food for thought, my opinion is obviously useless anyways.

Seeing as I was not involved with any of the past versions of this in any way, I wouldn't know. However, you do present many logical points. Odin and I have also conferred about the idea of offering more questions that are intellectually stimulating. Unfortunately, Odin won't be on for awhile, but I shall convey your thoughts on the matter to him.

I thought you would've sold it by now. I'll take A Baby Ruth bar and phone sex though.

Of the three most-recently posted interviews, the only "interesting" question I found was "If you could meet anyone in YCM in real life who would it be and why?".

If you would allow me to, I could possibly interview someone (preferably someone that lurks General or someone that I know) just to show you what kinds of questions the member base would like, and you could base future interviews off of that.

Since we need ideas.

Why not make the questions... more specific? Instead of the super hard hitting "what's your favourite colouring book?" how about you put a few seconds into investigating who you're interviewing next and ask them more personal questions?
[/quote]
Agreed. This is something that both Odin and I are working on doing. However, we are trying to avoid questions that are too personal.

I would like to indicate someone very known and misterious.
MarbleZone.
Everybody would like a specific interview about him.

Alright. Is there a specific question(s) you would like to have asked?
