Spoon
It's time... and the final result is quite shocking. We have more than 1 winner! And therefor no Runner-Ups :P Without further ado:The winners are *drumroll*Tsukasa Hiiragi and Goodnight! Both of you get 3 Reps and 500 points, I'll send and give them once I can.It took me an hour to take the notes below, I didn't format them or anything, just read them if you're interested. [spoiler=My Notes]TCG Warrior:The Summoning conditions remind me of Faultroll, certainly not the worst you could choose. The effect definitely fits and is strong enough to maintain it's usefulness, but the backfiring ability is what makes it really interesting. Good card with a great effect. The Spell is a bit too restrictive, has not enough power behind it to make it any useful. Even though it cancels out the self-destruction effect of #5, it doesn't do much for the Archetype as a whole. Adding a „cannot be destroyed by battle“ on the other hand would've helped the Archetype a lot. Goodnight:Simple but really effective, especially against Decks that Set a lot (Lightsworns, Gravekeepers and so on). The limiting of Book of Moon hurts this concept a bit, but it's quite powerful overall. Still, it doesn't quite look like the „boss“ I was looking for. It's not a bad card by any means, but it doesn't quite hit the sweet spot on it's own.The Trap card is quite unique. The first effect does help them in situations where their effects may backfire, or where they just need those 1500 extra points in order to stay competetive. The second effect on the other hand is always useful (and will most likely be the one to pick 90% of the time), and definitely the one that would maybe make this card playable. The creativity is high, but in the end, it's also very, very situational.(Runner-Up) The Wicked One:It actually works especially well with #3, which already grants you a little bonus. It's pretty powerful on his own as well, that hijacking effect makes it incredibly useful, and it converts it directly into more card advantage during your Main Phase 2. Also it's a Trade-In target, which never hurts. What definitely does hurt is the Nomi-clause. Sasuke Samurai cannot swarm very well, and getting and holding 2 of them out could be rather difficult. Of course, you don't need to use them, but if you're, for example, using the Frog Engine or something like that, you can also get Light and Darkness Dragon, which, in the end, is still the better card, because this one requires quite a setup. The Equip Card is solid stuff, looks a little crammed in with all those effects where I can't really find the synergy. Why the attack boost if it's supposed to kill with it's effect? Why Trap Protection if #2 can do it better, for just a small price? Still needs some work. Maha Guns:A lot of effects, and all of them are quite useless and show no synergy (except for the „cannot be destroyed by battle“ effect, which is rendered useless as well because anything can run over 1700 ATK, not to mention 0 if you use his effect). Removing random Spells and Traps doesn't fit into the picture as well. Sorry, but this one just doesn't hold up.The Spell is decent though, but so situational that it's pretty much useless again. At the brink of exctinction, with 3 monsters out, and all you get is Spell/Trap destruction? No, thank you, not needed. Trident Dragon/Assault Mode:Special Summon and an immense ATK boost, nothing special here. Still, since this Archetype has no support at all, it may be exactly what they need. However, it's a generic Level 5 Synchro Tuner that can Special Summon 4 monsters for the price of 2000 Life Points. This breaks it on so many levels, it's not even funny. It's an OTK machine, and as we all know, OTKs are bad for the game. The idea may be honorable, but there's a lot of refinement to do.Special Summon, ATK/DEF boost and a cannot be destroyed by battle-clause. Definitely lacks creativity, and that's sad. Not bad, but too basic to be of any interest for me. Tsukasa Hiiragi:That's what I call a boss! It doesn't rely so much on swarming, since most of the fusions can also happen from hand, is flexible and has a bunch of effects that, while not entirely working together, will give the Archetype the power it needs. Well done, good sir.Don't know what to say. You just broke it. Kick out the „Deck“ in there at once. Graveyard is fine, hand and field as well, but „Deck“ is what kills it. A Miracle Fusion is what they need for their Fusion, and this would be exactly it... but, „Deck... you get the idea. In the end, it's also a Nobrainer, little to no thought process, which I don't exactly like.(Runner-up) Kai Hiwatari:The effect is solid, definitely does help them without specifically benefiting a single one too much, because they nearly all rely on attacks. Simple Special Summoning effect that helps them a bit with Swarmin. Could be a bit of a pain to bring him out in the first place and then hold him long enough to make plusses with his effect, but it's not bad at all.My eyes hurt... you call that halfway correct OCG? You call that ENGLISH? Sorry, but even though I don't particularly look out for OCG errors, this doesn't work at all. The effect is mediocre, doesn't help them too much, they don't rely on ATK boosts that much, they need to get their effects out, and the boss monster acknowledged that. This one sadly doesn't. Voices of Chaos:It inherites all the strength of the basic cards and makes them stronger, to an extend that makes it actually quite good. The first and second one deliver a great lockdown, the fourth does a fairly good control job as well. It's similar to Tsukasa's Fusion, but is inferior by not being able to get more than 1 effect at a time. Still, not bad of a card design, makes it versatile, is searchable by Sangan and encourages Normal Summoning.Anti-destruction with a maintenance cost... useless card is useless :( Even though it's searchable by Terraforming, ultimately it doesn't help them at all. Talos the Wind Ninja:Synergy is the key here, and it does that quite well. It deserves the word boss in some extend, It's a one man army that trashes everything in it's way. I can't really say why, but I don't think it quite fits. It does a lot, maybe too much, but it's effects work and work together, so I can't really complain. This card exists in more than one form and doesn't really serve any purpose in the Archetype. Sorry, but I'm really tired right now, if there are any questions left, keep them for yourself
