The White Wolf
Link to OOC: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/241862-yu-gi-oh-duel-academy-the-cursed-academy-not-startedacceptingoocco-hosted-by-dementuo/ - Akarui sighed a sigh of content as he walked onto the blimp which would take the students to the Academy Island "First on- wait, this is normally the time I get trampled by a stampede of duelists. Happens every time- WHOA!" Akarui yelled as he was right, he got trampled and thrown to the ground by a mob of duelists "Ow..." he stated as he got back up and walked more into the blimp. "I need to start looking behind me when I'm the first into something." Akarui stated to himself, he walked to a nearby window which stared at the sea before them. "Attention students. We will begin flight in five minutes." a voice on the intercom stated. "Heh..." Akarui stated.
Dementuo
Fubuki looked at the guy who had fallen at the foot of the blimp. "Hey there. You seem to be quite popular." Fubuki remarked teasingly. He put out a hand, awaiting a handshake. "Fubuki Endan." He said. "And you are?" -MEANWHILE- Fujiwara looked down at the blimp, from high atop a nearby building. Through his mask, he could see two people standing at the foot of the blimp. "So you're here after all... Hmm..." Fujiwara thought. He began to chuckle to himself. "And then there's the other..." Fujiwara thought. "...I'll welcome him as well, if need be. Soon enough, Darkness will eliminate the pain he's sure to feel." Fujiwara said aloud, to no one in paticular. "Now to study them... Closely."
Zextra
Corey entered the blimp carefully to avoid being trampled on. He made his way to his room and pulled out a briefcase. "No time for a break now... I have to start the adjustments" he thought as he opened the briefcase, revealing a unique Turquoise and silver-colored Duel Disk. He took out a list of modifications and quickly snatched a couple of tools from his briefcase and started tinkering around with the wires inside. "If all goes according to plan, this should be finished by the time we reach the Academy..." he mumbled as he reached for a screwdriver...
♫♪GoldenBoy♪♫
(OOC: The reason that I didn't skip lines is because the conversation is taking place inside of Ares' head.) IC:"A truly sad case indeed," said the spirit of the Ring inside of Ares' head, "Now we must dispose the body quick." "I never wanted to have a shadow game you greedy piece of sh**!" Ares exclaimed as he looked at the soulless puppet that laid dormant before him. "Well isn't that a shame," the spirit replied mocking Ares. "You're week," he said, "Let me have control of your body." "We will be the greatest duelist who ever lived." "No!" Ares yelled. Ares walked away from the body and dropped the Millennium Ring on his way back to the Obelisk Dorms.
Justice Master
Dalst was the last one to step onto the blimp, his head lowered in dissapointment. He noticed the other two duelists at the front of the blimp, but decided not to talk to them. He began looking for an empty seat, and luckily found an empty row. He sat next to the window, his favorite seat, as he pulled out his deck. This deck has won me a lot of duels, he thought, so it was my fault I lost. But, I'm getting another chance, something few others have had at this academy. I shouldn't be bummed! In-fact, I should feel awesome, I get to show off this deck's true potential. And nothing's better then that! He smiled as he looked up, waiting to see if someone was going to sit by him. Elizabeth stood about two feet behind Fujiwara and payed close attention to every word he had spoken. She then proceeded to step besides her master and examine the two duelists he had referred to. She had no idea what purpose they served, but orders were orders, and she was sure the master would reveal that soon. Elizabeth silently looked over the two boys, she knew that her master wouldn't waste time with the weak, so she started to store all of their details into her mind. The White Wolf
OOC: I apologize for having a life (lol) I was talking with my new gf IC: "Akarui Yami." Akarui stated as he accepted the handshake. "Any reason in particular that you decided to enter the academy?" Akarui asked as he looked at the sea. He just stared upon it "I'm here for a couple reasons, first, being there was nothing better to do, second being I love dueling." Akarui explained as he pulled out his deck from his deck case on his belt, then looked back to Fubuki. His Duel Disk strapped to the other side of his belt "Why not one right now? No better way than to celebrate making it in." Akarui stated with a small smile.
Reinforce
"Would Dalst please report to the top deck, Dalst, we have need of you at the top deck." Ryan always was interested to hear his voice come out of the microphone all squeaky and distorted, however, he had to concentrate because he had to duel Dalst to see if Dalst got into the duel academy before this blimp could take off with Dalst either onboard as a student or walking away because he lost his redone entrance exam. Yami noticed a boy nearby who was challenging someone elso to a duel, thinking it good to see what was happening this year quickly, she walked across, showing a serious but happy fascade as she did. "if you both want to duel, how about a battle royal between the three of us, I'm Yami by the way, Yami Kurai, a veteran of this duel academy and an Obelisk Blue student. Justice Master
"Well," Dalst whispered to himself, "time to go win." He took his duel disk out of his luggage before picking the rest of his belongings as well. He walked slowly towards the elevator, people watching his every move. He knew that this duel wouldn't be private, though. All the other duelists' duels had been watched by their peers, it was only fair that his would be, too. All of the TVs began to show a dueling arena, obviously, the place he was headed. He stepped into the elevator and pressed the highest number on there. The doors closed, and each second in that ascending place, his smile grew. This is it, he thought, as the the elevator's doors opened. The Ra Yellow teacher stood before him. Dalst shuffled his deck and placed it into his duel disk. He began to speak, "well, here I am. Before we duel, I'd just like to say how honored to be here, to get a second chance. With that being said, I plan on going to Duel Academy, so be informed that I'm not holding back!" He awaited the teacher's response.
evilfusion
A girlish snicker sounded from behind Yami, and the source came forward. She was wearing a yellow jacket and had brown hair tied in a ponytail, as well as a disdainful smirk on her face. "Wait, are you serious?" she asked, holding up a small notepad where she had written down the two names, having clearly been eavesdropping from a short distance away. "Your first name is Yami, and his last name is Yami? Also, his first name and your last name are practically anagrams. What are you, clones?" She shook her head. "What are the odds?" ♫♪GoldenBoy♪♫
When Ares made it back to his dorm he noticed the Ring was waiting on his bed. I'm not going anywhere Ares, said the snickering voice of the Ring. "Whatever," he replied throwing it into his desk drawer, "I'm putting you away for a while." Ares looked through his deck as he sat shirtless he began to wonder why his brother come with him on the boat. "I guess he wants to make some non-prep school friends," he said chuckling. His brothers been weird ever since that accident. Talking to himself a lot more than usual. Well he wasn't really one to talk but still weird for his brother. Reinforce
"Not really that high actually, it is fairly common to have multiple people with similar names. What is your name anyway." Yami looked towards the guys and said "you guys can have your duel, I think I would prefer to duel this girl anyway, if she accepts" Ryan watched as Dalst entered the duel arena and made his speech about not giving up, then replied with, "that may be but you will find me a stronger opponent than the testing instructor in your first entry duel. You fan go first because you are the challenger and anyway, my deck avails itself easily to going second." having said that he shuffled his deck, placed itinto the slot and drew 5 cards. evilfusion
"Not that similar," the girl muttered, straightening her jacket idly. "My name? Jenna. Jenna Vienes, if that matters," she said, looking the other girl up and down for a moment. "Blue, huh? That's nice," she said, her tone rather dismissive. "I've got time to kill, so sure, I'll accept. Not much else to do before we get there." She always had a hunch that the Blue dorm students were usually overrated anyway. In the past, it's been said that money and connections made up the Blues, rather than any actual skill in their card playing, and Jenna was not afraid to test her theory by backing up her own game. It could even be fun.
Justice Master
"Same here," Dalst replied as he grabbed six cards from his deck, "I'm gonna be tougher then any student you've faced." Hmm, he thought, this isn't a bad hand, not the best I've had, but it'll do. "Okay," he began, "I summon Justice Soldier Kain(ATK-1700), set two face downs, and discard my Justice Soldier Messanger so I can add one the The Last Utopia to my hand, and I'll play it!" A beautiful land appeared before them. Dalst stated, "I'll save it's effect for later, but until then, I end!" This had to be the most excited Dalst had been in ages. Dementuo
"Why I joined the Academy? Well, isn't it obvious?" Fubuki said, tossing his hair a little. "Being a star isn't as fun when you've got no one to watch you preform." He said. He then activated the Duel Disk strapped to his arm. "A duel right now? Sure, I'm game. Though, since you challenged me, I'll start off." Fubuki said, drawing six cards, and stepping back a ways. "I'll summon the Red-Eyes Wyvern, then set two cards, and end my turn." Fubuki said, as a human-sized, black dragon appeared, holding a lance. LP: 8000 Hand: 3 Monsters: Wyvern (ATK: 1800) S/T Zones: 2 Fujiwara glanced over at Elizabeth, before returning to the scene at hand. "You see the younger of the two? Be wary of him. He's stronger than you may think." Fujiwara said through his mask.
The White Wolf
Akarui strapped his Duel Disk onto his let arm and placed his deck into it as it activated and drew six cards "(Hmm, too many attack points for that card's effect.)" "I play a monster face-down in defense mode and set two cards face-down and end my turn." Akarui stated. "Attention students, we will now begin flight to Duel Academy." the pilot's voice declared over the intercom. "That little chat and beginning of a duel took five minutes?!" Akarui stated which caused a laugh attack which quickly finished as the blimp took off. "Let's see if we can do this duel before we land!" Akarui stated, a crowd now forming between him and Fubuki. Dementuo
"Defensive already? You're not as fun as I though you'd be." Fubuki said teasingly. "Well, my turn. Draw." Fubuki said, trying to avoid the groups of people moving to their seats. "Hold on a sec." He said. After a minute or two, everyone was seated, and some students began to watch their duel. "Hey guys, how's this for on-flight entertainment?" Fubuki said to the crowd. "Alright, I'll summon the Red-Eyes Black Chick." Fubuki said, as a small black dragon appeared, still half-inside its egg. "And Red-Eyes lack Chick will become the Red-Eyes Black Dragon!" Fubuki said. The chick began to flare up with an intense dark aura, and immediately, the dragon vanished into the pitch-black. Suddenly, a much larger dragon rose up out of the darkness, and roared. (ATK: 2400) "Now, Red-Eyes! Attack his Face-Down monster. Inferno Dark Pulse!" Fubuki ordered. The larger dragon fired off a blast of darkened fire. Justice Master
Elizabeth listened in silence, ignoring Fujiwara's glance. Th advice she had been told boggled her mind. The young one seemed so worthless, and here she being told he was a threat. However, she knew well that looks could hide the deadliest foes, she worked with someone like that. Overlooking what had crossed her mind, Elizabeth watched the boy with a single statement, "yes sir." That's all she needed to say, for that summed up her whole attitude to every plan and order, "yes sir".
The White Wolf
Akarui smiled as Fubuki took 100 damage while the monster survived within the smoke "Meet Metal Guard." Akarui stated as the smoke cleared and a bulky humanoid robot with a shield stood there in defense mode. [DEF: 2500] "I don't think you'll get through this guy so easily, and I plan on going straight through your Dragon even easier." Akarui stated with a smile. "(I'm pretty sure Red-Eyes decks have that Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon? I'd love to see that thing get destroyed.)" Akarui thought as he devised a strategy. Reinforce
"Justice soldiers huh, the teacher who dueled you originally told me about them so a went and did a bit of research in my own, the one on the field, Justice Soldier Kain inflicts 300 points of damage every time he destroys a monster by battle and with The Last Utopia, all Justice Soldiers cannot be targeted by my card effects. I draw, first I set a face down card and summon my Luster Dragon in attack mode (1900/1600) and attack your Justice Soldier Kain with him, go Shining Blast" Ryan said as Luster dragon attacked Justice Soldier Kain. "I'll go first then" Yami said as she drew her five cards. "Draw, I activate the field spell, The Sanctury in the Sky and summon my Gellunduo in attack position (1700/0). Now I place one facedown, Turn End" Yami had smiled when the field had changed and Gellunduo had appeared, content in the knowledge that uness either the sanctuary in the sky or Gellunduo was destroyed by a card effect, she was safe from all battle damage. Justice Master
"Oh! So you did your research on these cards," Dalst responded, "well, then you know about Angel of Justice, too! It not only negates your attack, but ends your battle phase! Gotta say, that teacher was smart to tell you about these rare cards." He smiled widely. "So," he asked is your move done? I'm ready to pop out some of the more difficult ones of them, at least, more difficult for you." Okay, he thought, this is still anyone's game, no time to get cocky. Reinforce
"yes I did do my research and I know that you could remove from play that angel of justice card had I destroyed it to draw a new card. But I didnt have any point or purpose to destroying it so I end my turn." With the cards he had, Ryan wasn't feeling as confident as he looked but he kept his Milenium Eye closed, not wanting to reveal it's power in such a simple duel, a duel that he thought he would win anyway, regardless of the teamwork between some of the Justice Solders and just hoping that his opponent didn't have Justice Soldier Clon in his hand to allow a second normal summon each turn. Zextra
Corey wiped a drop of sweat off his face. "Well, I guess I'm finished with this..." he thought, holding up a newly modified duel disk. "But first, I have to test a few things..." he muttered as he pressed a button on the duel disk. A screen slid out to the side. Corey proceeded to touch his fingers to the screen. He slid his finger in an upwards motion, and Ares' name showed up. "Might as well give a call while I'm at it..." he thought, pressing a button to the side. Immediately, the screen projected an image of the Dual Academy logo. "Hey, Ares..." Corey spoke into the duel disk. "How are you doing?" he asked as Ares' face showed up on the screen. Justice Master
Dalst could see that his opponent didn't see him as much of a threat, in-fact, his opponent didn't even take the duel seriously. Time to change that. He pulled a card off of his deck while shouting, "draw! Okay, I summon Justice Soldier Fin(ATK 1600/ DEF 500) and use his effect to discard my Role-Model to use his effect! So, unless you can stop his effect I get my Justice Soldier Setail in my hand!" Okay, he thought, it's about time I show him my one and only top card. His smiled widened. Reinforce
"Go ahead, I know that Justice Soldier Setail is useless without wannabe soldier in th graveyard to remove from play and I don't really care about it one way or the other so go ahead." he waved his hand at Dalst, as if motioning for him to continue, confident that even if he managed to summon that particular justice soldier, Ryan would be safe. Confident about his safety, he stood back and waited for the next move, tapping his foot along to a song only he could hear and using the vidio cameras downstairs to watch the other two duels without interference from other spectators. evilfusion
Jenna backed up slightly to make more room for the duel, activating her Disk in a fluid motion and smiling a true smile for the first time. She loved a good duel. As she drew her opening hand, she watched Yami play her cards and gave a slight snort. "Gellenduo cannot be destroyed in Battle, but will self-destruct if you take any form of damage," she mused. "Sanctuary in the Sky protects you from Battle Damage involving a Fairy-type monster," she said. With a shake of her head, she drew. "Such simple tactics don't work against me. My turn!" she shot a glance to her drawn card. "I Summon Phantom Beast Cross Wing," she announced, a vaguely eagle-like monster appearing before her. (Lvl 4, 1300/1300) With a cool, casual motion, she slipped two cards into the rear slots of the Disk, holographic cards appearing on either side of the monster.
