Mayby it's something to do with those books. "The Curse of the Cross" "Monster Art"

My thoughts exactly.
I thought that was a cool idea, tying the color page with the story. If I ever read that, I'd be blown away by that creativity.
It was a good chapter, Fukuda's despair was lulzy.

I only read it because the name sounded like Bakugan. Weird coincidence. Am I the only one that noticed Yusei Fudo in one of the panels?

Well it's a bit of sliceoflife manga and you'll see and read things that have or are currently in weekly jump.

Reading it because it sounds like Bakugan is a sin, and just about everyone noticed Yusei in that panel.

I'm glad the series will be dubbed, but I'm not all that familiar with the dubbers. I suppose we'll have to wait and see how the handle it. I only saw the first episode of the anime, so I need to get around to really watching the anime.

That reminds, how did I not talk about this here when I should have? A month ago, I went to a local anime convention, where EliteslayerX, co-creator of Ranma 1/2 The Abridged Chronicles, and xXNeokaXx from Negima Abridged, hosted a panel on how to create an Abridged Series. Ultimately, we made a Bakuman. Abridged oneshot. It's in four parts, and here is the first part. I should warn you that the people asking questions are rather hard to hear.

Judging by the reactions, I think Crow and PCP tied. I wonder what that means. Even if Eiji continues Crow instead of ending it, I have a feeling that the series will plummet in the ratings, due to anything occurring after Eiji's planned ending reeking of a postscript season. The thing is, Eiji put himself into a corner through this deal. If he wins, then he ends on the high note he wanted. If he loses, then Crow becomes a franchise zombie, and he'll have to continue the series to a point where his heart won't be in it anymore, and he'll just be writing it so because that's his job. Now I really want to know how the process of serialization actually works. This arc has finally made me want to see Crow become an actual manga.

On another note, reading this chapter made me wonder where Hiramaru first met Aoki. His obsession with her has been his defining character trait, so I'd like to know where that started. In fact, wasn't he a completely different person at first? I recall him being rather stoic. Oh well, I absolutely love watching Yoshida troll Hiramaru.

Hiramaru was more depressive at first...then again, he still is....just now, more comedic.

Either way

I want Hiramaru's manga to be first this time

It would explain the surprise.

And would be lulzy

My thoughts exactly.

So this is the Bakuman Abridged one-shot that was made at Fanime. I actually participated in this, starting at 3:49. Keep in mind that these are done on the spot, so when people say their lines, that's the only time they get them recorded.

I loled at Miura being rejected and Hattori getting worked up over the manga.
I thought the new villain was Nanamine, but that last panel makes me think otherwise.

You know, a friend of mine told me that it'd be epic if the new manga Ashirogi was working on was Death Note. Because this new approach definitely sounds like it, but they've referenced it twice already .-.

^Bold: I'm going to have to agree. Seeing them do Death Note would have been interesting but as said, it's been made clear that Death Note has already been made. Still no doubt what ever they're going to make will be mind blowing.

As for the chapter. It was okay. imo it didn't seem that interesting. This also applies to the manga within the manga.
