I am sure everyone knows how when a topic is bumped to the top of a section in the forum, it appears when using an overhead search. When you click on that thread, it takes you to the first new post since you left that topic (Everyone knows that as well). My suggestion comes here: Every other thread that isn't first of the section should also be able to bring you to the first new post since you left the topic (along with the Page Number). It does get annoying that every time you leave a thread overnight and in the morning, there are about 2-5 new pages filled with posts. You want to know where the first new post is immediately before going to the last post. With this feature added on the forums, members would not be as annoyed with searching through pages just to find the first new post since you left.

You'll have to direct anything of this sort of functionality to IPS, but that is exactly what you want. It's in progress.
