VGVentus
OOC Thread: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/238962-medabot-x-acceptingnot-started/ The streets of Midnight City were filled with kids of all ages heading home for summer, the schools they went to became insignificant factors in their lives, and were drowned by conversation and happy faces. Among the wave of kids were Medabots of all different shapes and sizes, all following their masters and even they were caught up in the joyful mood and participating in conversation. There was only one kid that stood at the High School's main gates, and he was waiting for his friends; his name was Jonas Yumachi, and he was growing tired of waiting. Today was not only the last day before summer, but the day that Jonas and his friends get their first Medabot and to the group, this was a special occasion. "Where are they? Please don't tell me they left without me already, or worse..." Jonas sighed, looking up at the orange sky. "...If they forgot about this day...Nah, they wouldn't forget." Jonas dismissed the thought, he knew that his friends were looking forward to this more than himself.
The True Ace Attorney
"Hey, Jonas." Seb spoke just loud enough for Jonas to hear him. As he walked up to Jonas, he readjusted the guitar he was carrying over his back but, after deciding it was too much bother to keep wearing at the moment, set it down beside the gate. Looking at Jonas, Seb said, "Still nobody else?" then, after moving his hair out of his eyes, sat beside the gate and played his guitar quietly. Hydra of Ages
"Alright then, boys. I'll give you two options." Amina atop a stack of crates by the schoolhouse, staring down the five thugs that had surrounded it. They were barely a year or two older than her, but they had the chaotic grin of cruel mischief in their eyes that spelled danger for just about anyone. One held a bottle, and two others had sticks of varying sizes- none matching to the solid length of bamboo she held in her hand, brandishing like a blade, however. "Option ONE!" she called, raising her hand and putting up the index finger to eliminate any confusion. "We can do this the hard way," she said with a glare. One of the boys gave a snort. She ignored it for the moment. "Option TWO!" She added, putting up her next finger. "I can beat the ever living snot out of everyone here, right now. What's it going to be, boys?" It took them a second to think about that, and they may have seemed off guard- it was hard to tell really, though their obviously drug-addled daze. "...The hell do you think you are?" one of them said, shaking his hand before cracking his knuckles. "Freaking batman? C'mon guys, let's mess her up..." he started, climbing up the crates until a strong swat to the side of his head caused him to see stars, and a boot to his face sent him sprawling to the floor. "Who do I think I am? Listen closely, 'cuz I'm only gunna say this once!" she said, stamping her foot once. "I'm AMINA, the Guardian! When they talk about the famous defender of the week, the protector of the innocent children left in the darkness, they're talking about ME! If low dwellers like you think you can match me in a fight, just watch yourself, because the badass leader of the Daiguren Squad pulls no punches! This is my town, and If you don't like it, GET OUT!," she yelled as she leaped from her perch, fist finding the head of boy's leader and dropping him instantly. They sprang into action- the one with the bottle threw it at her head. She ducked, and in the same movement thrust her shoulder into the guy's stomach, blowing the air out of them. She moved quickly to elbow one of th stick holders before he could attack, but was cross checked from the side when one of the remaining members managed to punch her across the fact and send her stumbling a couple feet across. She drew her sword again with a grin as he approached, slamming it into his side with power a bamboo sword ought not to have and sweeping his leg. She stabbed into the gut of one of the recovering guys -she didn't notice if he had a weapon- doing negligable damage and allowing him to throw a couple punches back. She weaved in and out of it, taking a couple blows but looking none the worse for ware as they exchanged punches. Eventually, he overextended and left himself open to a trip and a throw. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a rock sailing towards her. Acting fast, she threw her sword at it, knocking it off course and clocking the enemy in the face- she dove after it, driving her elbow into his stomach as he went down and picking up her sword. She panted a little to herself as she got up, putting her sword across her shoulder. She glanced back at the groaning men, and grinned a little. "Nice fight. Stop by again next time you feel like getting your asses kicked," she said with a breathless grin and turned the corner onto the pain street again. As she walked, she winced and put a hand to her cheek- that was going to bruise, at the very least. After walking a couple streets, she noticed a pair of coats she'd recognized from elsewhere. She raised her hand and gave them a casual wave. "Yo Seb. Jonas. Something up?" she added, noticing they seemed to be waiting for something. She scanned her recent memory for a few seconds- sure, it was a little shook up due to that fight, but wasn't there something important scheduled for today? No? Ah, it'd come back to her eventually, she assumed.
Raine
Vincent sighed as he rode clinging to the back of Echo. Echo walked briskly up the hill unhindered by Vincent's weight. Vincent had a content grin on his face he always enjoyed casually hanging out with his medabot, so much so that he rarely shut her down. He liked to pretend she was human, a fantasy with possibility of being true. Vincent got back on his feet and walked beside Echo, they were roughly the height. Echo looked over to Vincent, "Vincent-sama where are we going?" Vincent did love how personalities were built into the metals, it served only to further fuel his illusion, "We need to meet with some friends of ours. Jonas got mad at me when I told him I didn't want to so I gave in. I'll be fine though I'm sure it'll be worth the time". Echo stopped and turn to face Vincent, "I know, the school is the other way". Vincent gave a dumb grin and stood silent, "..." Without a word they turn around at the same time and pressed on. Soon the school came into view. they wandered towards the main gate, "JONASSSSSSSSSSSSS!," screamed Vincent waving his hand now raising himself up on Echo, who was looking at him confused. VGVentus
Jonas nodded when Seb arrived and asked him a question, he then left him alone to play on the guitar, turning to see his friend waving at them. "Oh, hi Amina! What took you so long? We were meant to get our Medabots today y'know?" Jonas asked, hoping that she hadn't forgotten about the arrangement; the teen turned sharply in Vincent and Echo's direction as soon as he heard the Medafighter shouting his name, "Vincent and Echo are here? Well, that just leaves Alexander..."
Hydra of Ages
It took Amina a couple seconds for that to click. "Hm? OH, oh right, the bots..." she muttered to herself, thinking to the coins and bills she had in her pocket; whatever the Daigurren Squad could spare in spare change, lunch money and salvaged from the streets. They tried not to steal, of course, but they were a street gang of poor kids and Amina hardly doubted that a good chunk of the change she held wasn't taken entirely voluntarily... but those were the breaks, she supposed. Besides, soon they'd have a cool mascot Medabot too; all the major gangs had them in surplus, and a personal robot assistant was one of the few things that enough determination and clever planning couldn't really make up for. "Right, right, Alexander," she said after a few moments, before pausing. "Who's Alexander? Can't remember squat about the guy..." she muttered.
