Alex stood in the town square of Sproutroot, observing the people who were setting up for the festivities and eating lunch with Deino.
"Say, Deino, why don't we find somewhere to train after we finish eating."
"Dei! Deino!"
Alex nodded.
--15 Minutes Later--
"Alright, Deino, now use Dragon Rage!"
"Dei....NO!" Deino's mouth was soon filled with sparking yellow energy, which he then fired in the form of a ball at the mountainside. There was a large explosion, but no visible damage to the mountain...Well, not immediately. Within seconds, part of the mountainside crumbled, widening the mouth of the cave cut into its face.
"Umm...Wow...Good job, Deino. Now, how about Head Smash?"
"Deideideideideideideidei...NO!"
Deino rushed forward and a blue aura surrounded his body. As he ran, though, the energy began to dissipate, until he was just running headfirst at a tree. Deino slammed his head into a hole in the trunk, getting stuck in the process. Eventually, an angry Sentret shoved him out, then hit Deino with a Hyper Voice, dazing him.
"Uh...Guess we gotta work on that...Well, here, have a RageCandyBar."
"Deino..." *MUNCHMUNCHMUNCHMUNCHMUNCH*
Alex returned Deino to his Poké Ball, then took a leisurely stroll through Lumiere Grove...

Ace and his Eevee were staring enviously at the grove around them, specifically the Lumiere Grove. The place had lit up from bio-luminescence, and the sight was amazing. He had pulled his Pokemon out simply so she could share the view with him. A sudden rustling caused the pair to turn their heads, and they saw a wild Pokemon, which Ace recognized as a Pidgey. He had no extra PokeBalls on him, but it would be good training for his Eevee. "Go, Eevee!" At his call, the small Pokemon darted towards the bird. "Use Tackle!" The Eevee rushed forward, and tackled the Pidgey full-on. The Pokemon was stunned, but quickly retaliated, pecking furiously at the Eevee. His Eevee dodged most of the pecks, and tackled it again. The Pidgey was knocked out. "Good job, Eevee." She rushed back to him, and the two lay down and stared at the tranquil scene around them.

Alex came to a small clearing in the woods. There was a large porous rock in the center that gave off a faint green glow. Alex decided, against his better judgement, to go and investigate the rock.
As he drew closer to the monolith, he came under the assumption that it was a meteorite. It appeared that the meteorite was about 6 meters long and 2 meters across.
Big enough for small Pokémon to reside in...
When Alex stood about a meter away from the meteorite, a faint ringing sound appeared.
"Beeeeee..."
"Gyeeeeee..."
"What...What's that sound...?" Alex cupped his hands over one ear and leaned in closer to the glowing space rock.
Suddenly, a Beheeyem and two Elgyem appeared out of nowhere, and they looked angry.
"You...Human...What purpose have for stand...?"
"Purpose..."
"...Stand...?"
Alex realized the Beheeyem and Elgyem were speaking to him telepathically.
"I am simply an...Adventurer. Yes, an adventurer. I wish to see the world, and so I came here."
"An..."
"...Adventurer...?"
"..."
"...Understanding. We go."
"We go..."
"..."
The Beheeyem and one of the Elgyem teleported away, but the other moved closer to Alex.
"Uh, hello."
"Hello...?"
"Yes, hello. Why are you still here?"
"Still...Here...?"
"Yes, why?"
"...Want...Learn...You...Help?"
"Oh, you want me to help you learn? Uh, okay...Umm..." Alex fished in his pack for a Poké Ball, eventually finding a Luxury Ball he received from his mother. He pressed the button and held it out to Elgyem.
Elgyem reached out toward the ball and tapped it, activating it and pulling himself inside.
The ball wiggled back and forth once...Twice...Thrice...BING!
"Uh...Did...I just catch a Pokémon?" He picked the ball up off the ground and placed it on the inside of his jacket. Then, he resumed his walk.

Matt leaned flat against the plane's wall, with a small, sleeping Eevee on his lap. Sadly for him, he had stayed up all night to make sure no one would see them. His body jerked forward unexpectedly, making the Eevee hit the ground with a thump. Matt grabbed the Pokémon and made little noise, hoping no one had heard the noise or they would ignore it. He then hopped inside one of the bags of luggage along with a pen he had found on the ride there. One of the Infinity Breakers made a remark about how much crap one should bring, for the fact that Matt had made a large bulge in the bag.
He waited a couple of minutes after being placed down and proceeded to stab the pen into the zipper, opening a hole big enough for him and Eevee to escape. He dashed off the second he had left that bag, leaving no evidence behind. Every once in a while he would look behind him to check if the Eevee was still there, it always was, but he did this until they reached a beautiful forest-like area. He then placed the pen in his pocket and looked around. Was this the Lumiere Grove he had heard about?

Kori sighed, stretching his arms and dropping his torso and head so he was horizontal on the ledge. He stroked Glaceon, who was stretched along his torso, with his left hand instinctively, looking up at the clouds passing by above him. He smiled, loving his holidays, and breathing in the fresh air. Of course, he couldn't ignore the world for ever, especially with so much danger in the world. The Infinity Breakers were on the loose, and it was only a matter of time until they reached Exflow, and he would probably need to be at Everloft tower soon, and he'd get another lecture on how lazy he was, and would probably just ignore them and listen to some music.
"Well, I'd better get moving Glaceon." Kori said, disturbing Glaceon as he sat up. However, they would have been disturbed anyway, as at that moment the ledge shook, and a piece not a metre away from them fell to the bottom of the mountain. "What the..." Kori started, before noticing the trainer at the bottom of the mountain training. "Stupid idiot." Kori said, returning Glaceon to her pokéball. Then he jumped off the ledge, skidding down the edge of the mountain, arriving at the bottom of the mountain quite soon. The trainer had vanished, presumably off to Lumiere Grove, and Kori decided to follow. He reached the kid just as the Beheeyem and Elgyem left, noticing the capture. "Oh, so you're a new trainer, eh." Kori said, walking up to the kid. "I'd keep hold of him. Very difficult to find, and even more difficult to catch, as they keep teleporting away." Kori sighed. "Next time, check there aren't people trying to relax before you attack a mountain. Nearly caused me and my Glaceon to go for a little tumble." Kori laughed, holding out his hand. "Kori Aruji, nice to meetcha." Kori explained, keeping the fact that he was a Heavenly King a secret, hoping to avoid Autograph signings.

Alex whirled around as the person introduced themself.
"Oh, sorry about that. Deino was a little stronger than I had once thought, eheheh..." Alex chuckled nervously. "Right, I'm Alexander Carlin, but you can call me Alex." Alex smiled and shook Kori's hand.
Alex opened up his Poké Balls, causing Deino and Elgyem to emerge in two bright, whitish-blue flashes.
"Deino!"
"...Kori...?"
"Right, these are my two Pokémon, Deino and Elgyem. And I'll take your advice on that matter, thanks." Alex paused for a brief moment. "Say, would you like to have a battle? I mean, don't feel like I'm pressuring you, but I've never had any battles with another trainer aside from my sparring sessions against Iris and Drayden back home in Opalucent."
"...Battle...?"
"Yes, Elgyem, a battle. That's when you use attacks against another Pokémon for training and fun."
"...Fun...Heard...Before...Never...Know...?"
"You...Don't know how to have fun?"
Deino chuckled.

"Sure. And I guess I'll go easy on you. You can use both your pokémon, while I'll just use my Weavile, the weakest of my group. However, I will warn you, I've been told I'm quite good." Kori said, tossing a Pokéball casually in the air, which opened to reveal a black creature with a large red fan around it's head and three sharp claws on each hand. "This is Alex, Weavile. You'll be battling his two pokémon, Deino and Elgyen." Kori explained. Weavile scoffed and turned away to face the trees, it's arms folded against it's chest. "Weavile's ready, so whenever you feel like it, attack." Kori explained, as Weavile seemed to occupy itself with the glowing trees around him, seemingly uninterested in the battle.

"Okay. Deino, use Dragon Rage! Elgyem, you just hang back for now. I want you to see how this is done."
Elgyem silently nodded.
"Dei-NO!" Deino's mouth filled with yellow-orange sparking energy, which he fired at Weavile in a compressed ball.
As the ball raced toward Weavile, Elgyem slowly worked his way around the side of the main area the battle was taking place and observed with the utmost focus, taking in every breath and step of Deino.
"Now, use Rock Smash and Earth Power!"
Deino's single-clawed front feet glowed white briefly before he slammed them into the ground, causing large cracks to form, which golden energy escaped out of. The cracks raced toward Weavile, intent on swallowing him up.
Hmph. I can do this. It's just a Weavile, what could he do to Deino?

Matt shook his head, escaping the daze he was in. He glanced down at his tired Eevee, and decided to lay by it. "Hey," he whispered, "I think it'd be best if we just rested right here. What about you?" The pokemon gave a nod before hopping onto his new owner's head. "Hey!" Matt said, quiet enough that no one could hear him besides Eevee, "there's a battle going on over there! Let's watch it!" Their attention shifted to the battle about to take place.

Atlas knocked the opponent floatzel's legs from under it. She followed it up with a kick that sent it tumbling. As it gasped for breath, she tunneled deep into the ground. Floatzel pushed itself upright, grit its teeth and shot glares around the field, wondering where she would pop up. The ground behind it erupted upwards and t whirled, shooting a water gun. Nothing. It was a decoy. Her head broke through the earthen floor of the gym and she clamped her jaw around its leg with crushing force before dragging it under. A few seconds later, it burst out of the ground, driven by the force of her kick. He landed heavily on its back, to dazed to continue. Atlas jumped out of the hole with a grin and pulled up her sagging pants as floatzel joined the other two pokemon she decimated.
"The winner by knock out is Atlas! Three victories to Tristan! Leader wins!" The referee annouced.
"Well done Atlas," Tristan commend the Scrafty. She grinned wider. Noticing the challenger on his knees, he walked over and patted his back. "Don't feel bad. Atlas is strong, even for a Scrafty. And she lives for battles' nothing was going to stop her once he knocked out your first pokemon." He smirked a little. "Besides, my job is to beat challengers, or at least give them the hardest battle they've had so far, not give a badge to every kid with a pokemon that walks in here. Train your pokemon a bit more and send me a message when you're ready to try again," he said as he walked out.

Once outside, he returned Atlas to her pokeball and whistled loudly. A shadow blocked the sun for an instant and Bran, his Honchkrow, descended before him and puffed out his chest defiantly and ruffled his feathers. "Sorry Bran, I know you are upset, but you got to fight the last challenger," Tristan said with a laugh. "How bout were take a trip to make up for it?" Bran settled and Tristan knew that was what he wanted. Leaving a message with the closest attendant, climb onto the large bird's back and took off.

Weavile smiled as he saw the Dragon rage and Earth Power Combination approaching, almost laughing as it closed in. Just When it seemed impossible to dodge the moves, Weavile blurred and vanished, appearing next to Deino, his arms still crossed. "Weaviiiiile." Weavile said, sighing. "Just so you know, Weavile's fast. Weavile, Shadow Claw." Kori said, Weavile nodding his acknowledgement at Kori, before lifting it's hand to his face. "Weav." Weavile muttered, staring intently at his claw until it started to glow with a ghostly energy. "Now." Kori ordered, swiping his hand. Weavile sighed and lifted his hand above the Deino's head, and swiped it downwards, aiming straight for Deino.
"Glaaaceon." Glaceon yawned, erupting from her Pokéball. Although Weavile took no notice, continuing with the attack, Kori looked at her confused. "What's up." Kori asked. Glaceon yawned again, nodding towards the bushes. Kori shrugged. "If you need a walk, feel free." He said, as Glaceon walked away. She walked in the bushes a while until she found a trainer watching the Battle with an Eevee. "Glace." She said, acknowledging the Eevee, before kneeling next to the Trainer.

"Huh?" Matt let out a little loud, but only noticible to those listening. "Hey," he began as Eevee leaped off of his head and by the Glaceon, "that's a Glaceon. Why would a pokemon like you be out here?" He wondered as his only pokemon studied the other pokemon, "Ee?" Eevee let out. The Glaceon wasn't of any harm, no, in-fact, it was the same species. In Eevee's eyes the pokemon could be trusted, in Matt's eyes, this was just strange. Okay, he thought, it's highly unlikely that an Eevee would evolve in the wild. That means this is another trainer's pokemon. Wait, didn't that guy let a pokemon walk over here? Of course! This is his Glaceon! Augh! I feel like an idiot now. Matt began to observe what the two pokemon would interact.
