Mehmani
Franz Liszt Chris Stock (BBC Wales percussionist and conductor, wrote some lovely Vibraphone solos along with orchestral works) Glenn Miller Scott Joplin (at the time of his death he was writing a Ragtime Symphony) Charles Mingus (Epitaph, his two hour long epic that was only published and fully performed after his death) John Barry (honourable mention following his death, he didn't actually write the Bond theme though. But he did write Goldfinger and You Only Live Twice's wonderful scores) Hans Zimmer (for his work on Kung Fu Panda)

Mehmani
YESH! But i like his work in Gladiator and The DaVinci Code
Ah, but Ugwe Ascends is absolutely awe-inspiring. He really knows how to incorporate the influences of cultural music, does Zimmer. Youtube it, it's a beautiful little Er-Hu concerto at first that rapidly yet subtly develops into a beautiful orchestral piece with a flourish. The piece is so simple yet so inspiring Truthishly it is really just increasing in tone but it has such an amazing feel to it...
