The Warden
Not having the pot might disadvantage Octomon, what with losing those Fujitsumon.

The Warden
You know, right now I think that Arachnimon IS trying to get us killed.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Does seem that way, doesn't it? Although, you'd be able to deal much more damage if Molten Collision works
The Warden
Yes, if we happen to be attacking the back of its neck, which happens to be under water, coated by acidic ink. It's a big and obvious target y'know?
Admiral_Stalfos19
Yeah, but around front wise, our enemy would see what I was doing and probably swipe me off before I could perform it...
The Warden
I just question how he survived the acidic water.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Heavy resistance to acidic attacks, perhaps?
Hydra of Ages
You have no idea if it has a neck, or even a head. All that was mentioned was a darker patch at the center of the tentacles, under water, with yellow eyes. The dark patch moved a bit when a tentacle got cut off and it started going crazy, but it still hasn't revealed any sort of neck or such. In order to land the attack, Arachnimon would need to submerge himself into the dark patch (which is not smart, I'll tell you that now. The multiple Gizumon trying to enter it and not coming back out? That was a 'subtle' warning,) and attack blindly, since he can't see his target. Not only that, but even if we assume there actually is a head down there, they can't hit behind it; the eyes are facing upward from the water, so you'd need to get underneath it to strike like that. Admiral_Stalfos19
Changed so I strike the back instead.
Hydra of Ages
...The back of what? Please find for me, where you would locate the 'back' of an octopus- while it not being the head.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Um... somewhere behind where it seems to be facing, perhaps?
Hydra of Ages
It's facing forward. Imagine a flower blossom for me. The petals are the tentacles. The bit in the center? That's it's head, facing upward. To get behind it, you'd need to go around the tentacles and approach, underwater, from below it. Recently, it just angled itself a little to the side- imagine putting that blossom on its side, so the petals all faced in one direction. To get to the back of its head, you'd still need to go around a significant distance and head under water, a distance you can't do without either swimming or being knocked back by any of the numerous thrashing tentacles. Spartan919
Either way, we need to find something that will hurt it significantly, or we're screwed.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Well I did have Arachnimon allow the tentacles to catapult him overhead...
Hydra of Ages
...Fair enough. Maybe that earlier 'drag it out of its element' plan wasn't so bad after all.
The Warden
Yes, and right now I need to leech energy from another leash in order to power up Gizumon enough to actually punch a hole through this rubbery monster. If I can shot it in the face, a number of things may occur, either: it strikes the face and destabilizes it, forcing it to surface and be attacked from the front. Or it can bore straight through it and kill it.

Hydra of Ages
I'm going to pull Executive Authority on that and say that shattering into data instantly removes all additional downloaded components, like viruses. Being able to infect over half of the strongest Adult-level DABO currently known in a relatively short time is overpowered enough without it also pulling a Wutai Theft on the main experience component. Plus, declaring how corrupted the digimon is on your own merits is dangerously close to Metagaming, especially since Arachnimon has ludicrous physical capacity even without the overpowered 'virus' move. By the way, it didn't actually leave behind squid arms. That was a joke. Anyway, now that we're past the tutorial...

I'll just go on ahead and redo my post EDIT: Anyway, redid my post and decided to change my EGL's evolution line. Ditched Golirachnimon and demoted his evos, and introduced a now Mega/Ultimate form in Fusiorachnimon. Also, I suggest the next 'wild DABOs' should address each EGL personally and fight them one on one (well, at least initially, before the rest of the team shows up)
