Admiral_Stalfos19
Actually, after looking through the Digimon Wikia, I decided that I wanted to change Arachnimon's evolutionary line. But before I do, can I have a DNA Digivolution somewhere? And if I can, does it matter who exactly I have a DNA Digivolvution with?

The Warden
Wouldn't DNA require two operators perfectly in sync with each other? I mean, given the way that the partner relationship works, the humans do enforce a bit of their will onto the partner. So, wouldn't it break a digimon to have two partners?
Theoretically, yes. The human's mind keeps the digimon in check- two human's minds, each with contradictory commands, would at best render it completely immobile (because the implants would default to 'stop moving') and at worst, destroy it outright. DARTS probably wouldn't be inclined to research making it work it either, because for them it would be a net loss in manpower. Sure, you get a really powerful digimon, but you spent two soldiers in order to make one; it's just not economical. For now I'm ruling it out entirely, but of course, later plot development trumps anything I say here.
GreyCat
A fourty story tall gesomon? We are expected to beat a skyscraper with tentacles? Let me go write my obituary...
Hydra of Ages
Pity digimon turn into data when they die. That thing could probably feed all of Tokyo's calamari business for the better part of a year.
GreyCat
Just to make sure, we are supposed to survive this, right? Cause I'm really beginning to have doubts. And picking at the physics of this emergence: Should we be expecting [s]tidal[/s] huge waves? Cause a roughly 400 foot tall squid could cause that by twitching
Hydra of Ages
It's next to the shoreline. A 400 foot squid could pull up some big waves, but it's rather difficult to do so when there's barely enough water for it to craw up onto. Also, you're underestimating what's needed to make a tidal wave. Contrary to popular belief, it takes more than a large object to make a shockwave strong enough to pull up that much water. You might be underestimating your partners. The way I figure it, most Child-levels are capable of collapsing a cement parking garage themselves given about thirty minutes, and EGLs are even stronger than that- keep in mind that the Gizumon they fought earlier was saturated with a ridiculous amount of data, and that impregnating metal with data makes it proportionally more durable. GreyCat
Twitching was exaggerating, but it could kick up a good sized swell by swing it's tentacles, and waves hurt when they crash down. But I did underestimate the children. Here's hoping Leor isn't thrown into the water.
Admiral_Stalfos19
No. If I decide to add it to the plot, that might change, but I'd still need you to agree with the Jogress partner on what the fusion would be like. The Warden
We're fighting a 120 metre tall Gesomon? Well, with the data saturation, if someone gets greedy they'd be guaranteed champion after those two banquets.
Hydra of Ages
Digivolving takes more than just eating a bunch of data, (which DARTS found out for themselves- did you wonder why that Gizumon-AT prototype had so much data comparatively packed into it?), but yeah, eating everything there probably wouldn't hurt. For those who are wondering, imagine data as if it were RAM or memory on a computer drive- say, an operating system such as Windows 98. With a bunch more memory, you can hold a bunch more programs- much like digimon are able to use more and stronger abilities when they're saturated with a lot of data, and are typically larger and more powerful. On the other hand, advancing a level is like updating the base operating system- using the previous analogy, going from Windows 98 to Windows XP. You'd need more memory in order to upgrade, as the OS takes more to use, but having more memory in itself isn't a replacement for having Windows XP. Blackstone Dresden
At long last, the first of my four reserved applications is finally here. Woo and such
Name: Ivana (Last name unknown) Age: 11 Physical Description: Ivana is a slender, frail looking girl of mixed race, half Asian on her mother's side and half Russian on her father's. She speaks with a slight but noticeable Russian accent, if she ever speaks at all, and usually limits herself to two or three words at most in a day. She inherited most of her appearance from her mother, having pale skin and long hip length hair, though her face and jet black hair make her Japanese parentage blatantly obvious to the trained observer. She almost always has her nails painted black, matching with her hair, and typically has her arms folded around Wormmon, like he was a stuffed animal or a security blanket and rarely ever looks anyone in the eye, typically picking people out based on shoes and voices alone. Clothing: Ivana typically wears black, usually a short pleated skirt and knee socks or black jeans with a black tank top and a small jacket, covering only down to her second to last rib on either side. Her hip length hair is usually worn down and brushed straight but she always keeps a black hair tie around her left wrist in case she needs to put it up in a ponytail, with two chopsticks in her inside jacket pocket if she needs to do it up in a bun as well. Around her neck she wears two necklaces, a gold star and a silver circle with an inset ruby, though she only ever has one out at any given time, usually the circle, though the star can be seen when she's combating an enemy DABO or sufficiently stressed. Abridged Bio: Ivana's childhood was... different. Since she and her mother were the only two people in the area that weren't as Russian as Medvedev drinking Smirnoff out of Lenin's favorite coffee mug, she was teased and picked on by almost everyone growing up and thus developed a highly introverted personality. When the hate escalated from playground bullying to outright discrimination and blatant racism against Ivana's family, not coincidentally around the same time when her father was forced to leave his job thanks to an illness that she never learned the name of, they were forced to move further east in order to be closer to the "Oriental" part of the continent and hopefully be less prone to having their car "accidentally" backed into every time the neighbor pulls out of the driveway. Leash Description: Ivana's Leash is a fairly simple combination of a classic "brick" base and an Ouroborus bracelet on her wrist that draws some of her blood every time she uses her Leash for any reason. This is due to the frailty of her mind in comparison to the rest of DARTS, she's literally not strong enough to have her mind linked to a DABO, but since the scientists in charge didn't feel like wasting a test subject, they designed the blood control after watching an episode of a British science fiction program. ---EGL Partner Species: Wormmon ---EGL Partner Description: Ivana's Wormmon is the size of a purse or a stuffed animal and is usually held by Ivana as the latter. Unlike most of his species, his black and green colorings have been reversed and his green markings are much darker than they should be. The tips of his legs are also rounder and slightly shinier than normal. In order to pacify him and link him up to Ivana, he has a long metal line going down his back in all of his forms (Or backs, as the case may be) that only gets thicker and more covering as he evolves, forming around Quetzalmon's visor, giving all of Orochimon's heads a silver helmet, and giving Tactimon a single silver arm that extends all the way up his sword. ---EGL Partner Evolutionary Line: Wormmon -> Quetzalmon -> Orochimon -> Tactimon ---EGL Partner Personality: Wormmon acts as a sort of guardian angel and foil for Ivana, encouraging the girl to come out of her shell, but still allowing her to stay withdrawn, usually speaking in her stead at DARTS meetings, a practice which, while unusual at first, has since become common practice and is generally not brought up except by new recruits.
The narrow hallway echoed with each step as the young shy Russian girl made her way down it, her flats clacking against the tiled floor alerting the occupant of the forbidden room at the end of what seemed like a twenty kilometer hallway of her approach, so that the door opened just as she was about to knock. "Yes, come in. The whole floor heard you coming."The quiet girl said, "Damned building's built like a freaking echo chamber." "Y... yeah...." Ivana agreed, her voice shaking even more than usual, "I... is there something you wanted?" "You've been adopted." The head of the orphanage said with a smile, "I know it's been rough on you these past months since your accident, but that's all behind you now." He momentarily clasped the girl on the shoulder, removing his hand at her instinctive flinch, "Don't worry, every background check and interview I've done with Mr. Bisham checks out. He's a highly paid Japanese civil service employee in a stable relationship with his wife. You don't need to worry, they've adopted another girl a couple years ago and are very respectable members of their community." "I... I guess." Ivana said as she greeted her new parents, who were waiting to be formally introduced. As she was leaving, Ivana overheard the owner of the orphanage on the phone with someone "Yeah, she just left. I feel really sorry about lying to her about them. Hope everything works out better than I think it will."

Hydra of Ages
Excellent; accepted. You just start by hanging around DARTS while the others finish fighting, or you could just drop into combat if you can think of a good reason. I'm willing to believe Bisham would keep one Inverse member behind just in case there actually was a Total Party Wipe due to Giant Enemy Squid. Hydra of Ages
Yes, the water made of acid ink. The other one is indeed Octomon. I'm not giving you a fancy writeup on him because this is the first time DARTS has observed an Octomon. Keep in mind these guys aren't necessarily identical to the digimon you know. In particular, this Octomon doesn't seem to have that shell-head piece that normal ones do- in fact, whatever it has for a head hasn't been seen yet, though it does have horns. You'll find out what's up with Octomon/Gesomon in a little bit. Do keep in mind that both of Gesomon's arms are still there, attacking, even if they are a little distracted now.
