Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Voted for Books 1 and 2. Felt Book 3 dragged out ridiculously pointless non-events to set up money spinning book 4. Tey are enjoyable fantasy adventures, not amazingly written or inventive, but very enjoyable. Tentacruel
Yeah, book 3 was rage bait. Serious rage bait.
Yang Xiao-Long
Paolini needs to publish his next book already. I was so excited for the third book, and upon reaching the end, I saw his little "letter" to his readers. I went complete RAEG. It's now at the point that I forget what I'm supposed to look forward to in his series.
DARKPLANT RISING
IMO they suck. I know most people in this thread will bash me, but IMO they suck.
valliant12
I hate how you read through a long book 3 just to stop IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLEFIELD! Book 4 better be good.
The Holly and the Ivy
Personally, I didn't like Eldest that much. I just found it incredibly dull.
Dr. Cakey
Waaaaaaaaaaaait...Brisingr wasn't the last book? I listened to it on audiobook, and got on about Disk 30 of 200 (he had just fought Murtagh again) and said f*** it (also it was due back at the library). Screw you, Paolini. Nobody cares about you anymore.
Mysterium Tremendum
Well, I found them interesting to read, they ate up quite a bit of my time. For some reason, I didn't really see the 3rd book as a disappointment. It had more points than I would've liked where I felt that it was furthering the romance of Arya and Eragon over the story but that is the only flaw I've found in Brisingr. I'm not fond of romance, but the book still holds quite a bit of charm over me, though I can't place my finger on the reason why. My only complaint about the series is that the movie....well..... Dr. Cakey
You know, I want them to come out with movies for Eldest, Brisingr, and the fourth book which apparently is going to be called Inheritance just so that people can paste trollfaces on the heads of all the characters. Chaos Number: Card Master
Na if they were to make movies of them they will need to redo the first one because it sucked
FTW (For The Wynn)
The movie didn't follow the book close enough. It was pathetic. Anyway, I consider the best of the story to be the first book. The second was good and the third was alright. It's an alright read thus far, but the 4th book will be the determining one for me. It could end up having the most predictable ending of all time, or it might be fantastic. I hope for the latter, but I won't expect anything. The hilarity of Book 3 was that it was as already noted Rage Bait. Overall, the series thus far is decent. Could be better, could be worse. There were times where I really enjoyed, and times where I felt the same as Darkplant.
Chaos Number: Card Master
Ye Brisingr was dragged out to far the only real interesting parts were Helgrind, Dwarfes and the End
FTW (For The Wynn)
It isn't so much the dragging out part that got to me for that, it was the dragging out without really continuing the story that got to me.
Chaos Number: Card Master
Ye though I don't think Inheritance will be dragged out because they have still got a bit to do like take Dras-Leona and Belatona before they go and attack Uru-bean

Chaos Number: Card Master
If you ask me Brisingr had a really boring point in it after Helgrind and before the Dwarves All that happened was Murtagh came
