Hiromi's riding experience with Kongou
Kongou offered his hand to Hiromi which she softly took, and clunged her arms around his neck, "Are you scared?" he muttered. Hiromi nodded nervously as Kongou slowly started to run at the speed of a sports car. Hiromi was amazed as the world became to elongate. Sunlight bent over them. Kongou shot away from the plaza and sped through downtown Seattle. Hiromi glanced back and saw a line of smoking pavement where Kongou's feet had touched the ground. He thundered toward the docks, leaping over cars, barreling through intersections. Kongou reached the water and leaped straight off the docks. "Hold on reall tight now!" Kongou shouted. Hiromi got the message as Kongou's feet touched the water. Then Hiromi's ears. She heard a roar that she later realized was a sonic boom, and Kongou tore over Puget Sound, seawater turning to steam in his wake as the skyline of Seattle receded behind them. Kongou and Hiromi was moving so fast that everything around them frozen in place. A few minutes later, Hiromi was getting a bit dizzy, so she clunged harder on Kongou, and closed her eyes. Kongou noticed her uncomfort, and slowed to subsonic as they finished crossing the Pacific Ocean. At last, Kongou stopped at a place bit outside of Tokyo. Hiromi slid off his back, grinning with pleasure, "That was fun!" Then Kongou stumbled to his feet. He tried to blink the yellow spots out of his eyes. "That was fun, but since I was using my human form, my abilities were lessen to a quarter of its original limit." He groaned, and continued. "I probably burned about six million calories taking you, and almost three million taking Takeshi," he laughed, leaning against a tree. "Why so little with Takeshi?" Hiromi asked. She stretched her arms, yawned, and relaxed next to Kongou. "It's a bit funny," he started, "about halfway crossing the Pacific Ocean to Washington, Takeshi started to freak out, and eventually cried out for his mom." Hiromi laughed a little, "That is funny," then she checked her watch, "Kongou, we're almost late to school!" she started to run toward the town just outside Tokyo. "Come one Kongou!" she called out. Kongou grinned and answered back, "The last one reaching the school have to pay for the other's lunch!" Kongou zipped off, leaving a trail of steam in his wake.
