Here is Beast King Barbaros as a kid.

Beast Prince Barbaros
Earth
Level 4
ATK 2000
DEF 1200
Beast-Warrior
If this card is Normal Summoned or Set, it's effect(s) is negated. You can remove 1 ''Beast King Barbaros'' in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. If this card is Special Summoned, you can activate the following effect:
You can tribute 3 face-up monsters you control to have this card gain 1000 ATK. You can halve this card's ATK to destroy up to 2 cards on the field. If your opponent controls no cards, this card is returned to you hand and you take 600 damage.

lol
how is it?

I'm not entirely sure about this effect.
The "cost" almost seems to make it not OP'd, but not quite.

Bouncing it back to your hand actually seems like a beneficial effect rather than detrimental. Because if it stayed on the field your opponent could have destroyed it, but now he can't because it's in your hand and your free to summon it again and destroy 2 more cards next turn.

also, while nothing's wrong with the actual effect, it seems weird that Beast King Barbaros would be used to summon a younger version of himself

Yeah the fact that barbaros can summon a younger version had me baffled as well

but it was just something thatcame to my head

And there is no garuntee that the person who used this would resummon it right awaw
they would probably need another beast king barbaros in your graveyard
but if they normal summon it will just be a vanilla
unless they have something that negates that effect and lets it use the other effect (lol what a mouth full)

and thnx for the fb
i'll give you a rep whenever im on my cpu
i can't do it now because im mobile
