The more blending there is the less vector-styled it looks... this just looks like you slapped a render on a brushed background in a few minutes. Vector art is most importantly defined by the amount of time it takes; far more than other art when executed properly by hand. I suggest practicing your pentool skills. RickiMinaj Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 This needs a lot of work. The background is very simple, showing your lack of skills in the vector field. The render itself is not vectored, so this really can't be called a true Vector piece. You used brushes, so that too enforces the lack there of rendering skills, and your gradient map and toning skills need a lot of work.
