Rika drew her cards casually as Simon made his move, looking through her hand and pondering what to pick.

[i]3 face downs and a defense huh?[/i] She thought [i]He could at least try to be subtle in trying baitme, ah well.[/i]

[b]"I'll start by playing my Pot of Greed spell card,"[/b] Rika said [b]"And if you don't know what this does then you officially fail at life."[/b]

She sent the card to her grave and drew twice more.

[b]"Next I summon Spell Witch - Felicia,"[/b] she said, taking another card and placing it on the field.

A girl in pink and red robes with flaming red hair and a fire sword emerged in front of Rika.

[b]"And now, by removing Pot of Greed from play I can inflict 900 points of damage to you,"[/b] Rika said, her spell card sliding back out of her graveyard [b]"And as an added bonus Felicia gains 100 extra points for each spell card I remove from play."[/b]

Felicia grinned wickedly and swung her sword through the air, sending a wave of flame towards Rika's opponent.

Simonachi took the blow willingly, and brushed the flames off him like they were nothing. He then went ahead and activated one of his 3 face-downs, revealing it to be a Trap Card.

"I activate Demonic Heresy!" Simonachi declared, "If I receive damage from a monster effect, I can take control of the monster responsible, and that leaves you wide open for a direct attack next turn!"

A dark priest appeared with a book in one hand, and held an eye-shaped artefact in the other. This artefact sent dark pulses that eventually sent Spell Witch - Felicia over to Simon's side of the field.

Dorian looked at Aiya as he turned to Daisuke and the new guy, whom he slighty remember is James. "Hey at least you're lucky enough not to have these God forsaken marks. You can just sleep it off and take it as a crazy dream." He then looked at his arm, which was still glowing and then at Daisuke and James. "But if Simon and James is right, which could be impossible since there's possibly less than one-billionth of a chance of all of us being Singers and even less of a chance of all of them forming in one place. But, if they are right, then we are supposed to save the world from these Dark Signers. We're gonna need all the help we can get." he then looked at James. "Will the director give us all the information we need to know?"

"Yes, he will and, by the way, these marks all appearing in the same place has happened before, the last time the signers and dark signers fought. Anyway, it does kinda make sense that they would appear in the same place, after all it isn't some random occurrence but instead it is the Crimson Dragon choosing us and marking us. Anyway, the Signers generally appear when the King of the Underworld starts to try to escape underground prison it is in and uses the Dark Signers to help it do that." He then looked at Aiya and said "You are very lucky, you know, not to have to deal with this but, in a way I was lucky too in that I got the infomation about the marks fairly quickly and wasn't kept in the dark about them for too long.

Tovee finally managed to find both Simonachi and Rika. She then thought about trying to get a hold of Blood, who she was expecting to be all the way back where everyone had the meeting, but decided against it, instead watching the duel wondering how Rika would fear after all. Tovee saw that Rika was wide open for a direct attack at the moment, but instead of portraying a worried look, she smirked, feeling that she deserved it for stealing her opponent.

Meanwhile, a Sector Security officer arrived at Akio's mansion, knocking on the door and waiting for an answer. She checked her pocket for a piece of paper and re-examined it. It was a printed out map of Neo Domino City, and it had bright dots on various locations. To the side of each dot were hand written notes, especially containing the names of all the signers except Simonachi's name. The officer then returned the map to her pocket.

Aiya frowned and bit her lip, looking both puzzled and worried.

[b]"Uh...Not to be rude, but I really don't understand a word you're saying,"[/b] she said [b]"Just what the heck is this crimson dragon you keep going on about?"[/b]

Rika looked to be on the verge of bursting out laughing.

[b]"What, you serious?"[/b] She giggled [b]"I haven't even ended my turn yet and I still have a full hand, but you think I'm wide open just because you took 1 monster from me? Wow, you really are as dumb as you look!"[/b]

She took another card from her hand, placing it in her spell/trap zone.

[b]"I activate the Spell Card Terraforming!"[/b] She said [b]"And since you seem to be a few brain cells short I'll tell you what this does; it moves 1 field spell from my deck to my hand."[/b]

A card slid out of Rika's deck and she retrieved it, grinning broadly as the field spell zone of her duel disk flipped open.

[b]"And now I activate my field spell, Black Magic Temple!"[/b]

An enlarged holographic version of Rika's card appeared beside her and the scenery mophed, a set of transparent dark pillars erupting from the ground around them, the floor turning a checkered black and white and a set of black windows set in an arc appearing behind Rika.

[b]"Thanks to this card, I'm allowed to summon a Spellcaster-type monster from my hand once per turn,"[/b] Rika explained [b]"So I choose Spell Witch - Galia!"[/b]

A knife wielding witch with short silver hair emerged in front of Rika, her ATK raising to 1700 instantly.

[b]"I'm not done yet,"[/b] Rika said [b]"Next I activate my Mystical Space Typhoon!"[/b]

She placed her card into her Spell and Trap zone, a powerful wind beginning to blow around the field as soon as she did so.

[b]"And I'll use it to destroy my field spell!"[/b] Rika declared.

The walls around them shattered and the wind died down. A grin spead across Rika's face.

[b]"Now if you don't mind, I'll be taking my monster back,"[/b] she said calmly [b]"So I remove Temple of Black Magic from my graveyard to activate Galia's effect!"[/b]

Rika's field spell slid out of her graveyard and and her monster drew her weapons, tossing them at Felicia and destroying her.

[b]"And since that's another spell card out of play my monsters gain another power boost,"[/b] Rika explained as her monster's ATK rose [b]"Next I remove Terraforming from play and summon Spell Witch - Shura!"[/b]

Rika removed terraforming from her grave and another monster emerged onto her field, this one dressed in black ceramonial robes with bright white hair.

[b]"And since she's a Dark Tuner monster...Well, you can probably guess,"[/b] Rika chuckled.

Shura began chanting a spell and summoned eight orbs of black light before vanishing. The orbs circled around Galia and shot straight into her, combining together before her body shattered and four orbs emerged and began circling around one another, creating a pillar of black light.

[b][i]"Dark energies gather at the center of the universe!"[/b][/i] Rika recited [b][i]"Black clouds will swallow the sun as something wicked this way comes! Dark Synchro, Witch Knight - Ariana!"[/b][/i]

A witch in red and black robes with blue hair and a huge charm cirlce on her back emerged from the black pillar, laughing softly.

[b]"And thanks to my out of play spell cards, she gains a power boost,"[/b] Rika explained as her monster's ATK rose from 2100 to 2400 [b]"Now I'll remove Shura from play and have Ariana attack!"[/b]

Rika's monster slid out from her graveyard and she retrieved it, holding it up for her opponent.

[b]"Just so you know, when in the graveyard and out of play, Shura becomes a spell card,"[/b] Rika said [b]"A spell card that inflicts 1000 damage to you whenever it's removed from my grave. And since I also used it to activate Ariana's effect, you can't activate you face down cards until my monsters done with yours. Ariana destroy his monster!"[/b]

Rika's monster lifted both hands to the mirror around her neck, chanting softly as a beam of black light shot from it and struck Simon's face down monster.

"Please, and you say I'm stupid," scoffed Simonachi, pointing to the Shadow Imprisoning Mirror that he activated BEFORE Rika tried to remove Shura from play, "Since you also seem to be lacking a few brain cells, I'll explain what it does: None of either player's DARK Monsters effect can be activated from the field OR the Graveyard. That's all means that Ariana loses the few Attack Points it doesn't need!"

Simonachi then flipped up Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World. It had more than enough DEF to survive Ariana's weakened attack. Now if only Rika paid any form of attention, she would've seen this coming.

She grinned and picked up another card from her hand.

[b]"I'll set one card face down and play Card of Demise,"[/b] she said, holding up the card [b]"So now I draw till I'm holding five cards, and in five turns I lose my entire hand. But don't worry, by the time that comes around you'll already be powerless to stop me."[/b]

She sent her spell card to the grave and drew five more cards, picking out two of them.

Dorian though for a moment about a good analogy for Aiya. "By what I can tell, the Crimson Dragon is what appears to be a being that sets the boundaries between the living and the netherworld. I guess he split up into seven pieces when there is no sign of danger and waits for it. When it does, it makes all the pieces of him fight once again to ustilize him. Like the pieces of Exodia, in a way. The Singer Dragon can return balance I guess, but it needs to be fully put together."

"I'll make sure that doesn't happen," Simonachi called, "DRAW!! And I'll start by activating Jar of Greed to draw 1 card. And then I activate Heavy Storm and wipe out everything on the back row!"

As Simonachi played the card, a huge gust of wind blasted its way through the field, threatening to lift all the trap cards in the air and destroy them.

Meanwhile, assuming Akio wasn't home, the officer slipped the piece of paper, which was essentially a map, under the door and drove off. At this stage, she was sipping a cup of coffee and performing her usual traffic patrol duties.

"[color="#0000FF"]It's my move now! I draw! And I think I'll start off by playing this card, Call Forth A Miracle[/color]!" When Ivan activated his Spell card, six Large like eggs appeared on both sides of the field. "[color="#0000FF"]This card gives both of us 3 Dragon egg Tokens and when one of them is destroyed, the owner gains 500 Life Points. Now I summon this card, Dragon Knight Synchron[/color]!" A dark knight with a large Dragon behind him emerged onto the field but then it started to take shape of another monster. Ivan explained, "[color="#0000FF"]When I summon this monster, it can become a copy of another tuner monster listed on a card in my extra deck. Can you guess who I selected? None other than my Ancient Sorcerer Dragon! Now! It's time to Tune up my monsters[/color]!" As all four of Ivans monsters began to merge together, he looked at his arm that was still glowing and started to think to himself, [b]I wonder what this is all about[/b]. The moment his Dragon appeared, Ivan continued, "[color="#0000FF"]Because I Synchro Summoned A Dragon-Type monster with Dragon Knight Synchron, I can't attack. But I can place 2 cards face down and then I'll end my turn[/color]."

"With this card I can reduce the level of 1 card on the field by up to 2," he said, "And I choose Hyper Synchron." "Now I'll Synchro Summon my own dragon," he said and then began to chant. [i]Watch as the future prepares and demises the futile efforts of Darkness! Shine Bright! Synchro Summon, Shining Cyber Dragoon![/i] his chant was powerful as his monsters combined to make his ace monster. A giant beige dragon took form on the field and it looked menacing as it had a long sword and a Gatling gun in stead of arms. "And since it was summoned by Hyper Synchron it gains 800 ATK!" he yelled, "But unfortunately I wont attack just yet." "I activate Giant Trunade," he said, "Which gives a Hack Counter to my Dragon, but I'll explain those in a second." "Next I activate Card destruction," he said removing the one card in his hand, "And we both discard cards in our hand and pick up the same amount." "And finally I activate the card Return of the Olden Days," he said smiling, "Here goes the mighty power of my card." "Now neither player can activate the effect of cards in our hand or graveyard," he continued, "And every face-up monster on the field has it's attack return to normal." "So if I'm correct your Dragon's attack goes back down to 500!" he yelled, "IT'S OVER FOR YOU!" "ATTACK SHINING CYBER DRAGOON, WITH HOLY DIGITIZED BLADE!" His monster attacked his opponent's weakened monster. And Ivan's Life Points finally hit zero. (Hopefully)

Ivan watched as his cards were returned once more and a new monster appeared onto the battle field. He starred in awe as his dragon had been destroyed once more and his life points dropped to 0. The Mark upon his arm had disappeared the moment the duel was finished and Ivan just stood there with his eyes fixed upon Aiden. Then out of nowhere, He began to laugh like crazy. The moment he could breath, He walked over to Aiden and attempted to shake his hand while saying, "[color="#0000FF"]Man! That was intense! I was barely able to keep on my toes there[/color]." Behind Ivan, the Little kids started to ask, "[color="#FF0000"]Why are you so happy about losing? We thought you had to win to be happy. Right[/color]?" Ivan knelled down on the ground and replied, "[color="#0000FF"]It's not winning you have to aim for kids. It's having fun that matters. As long as you have that, you'll win even if you lose[/color]." The little girl started to scratch her head thinking, the said, "[color="#800080"]I don't get it[/color]." Ivan placed his hand on her head and said, "[color="#0000FF"]You will one day[/color]." Turning back at Aiden, he then remembered to ask, "[color="#0000FF"]By the way, what was with our arms??? Do you know anything[/color]?"

"No actually I don't," Aiden replied coldly, "It's really weird though," as he looked back at his arm the tattoo didn't disappear but it just stopped glowing. Then all of a sudden it started to glow again but this time pain came with it. "AHHH!" Aiden screamed in pain as he grabbed his arm in pain. He looked around and noticed a glowing purple hyroglyph of some kind of bird and wondered what it was. He pressed a button on his phone and a duel runner in a distance began humming and found it's way towards Aiden. "I might not know what's going on," he said to Ivan, "But if you want to find out lets get on and lets see what that bird is doing." He got on his black and red duel runner and motioned Ivan to the same.

Meanwhile, over at the duel, Tovee finally got sick off watching and reached for the intercom of her brand new uniform.

"Alright guys, let's cordon off this whole section of the city," she instructed through the intercom, "These strange flames'll probably be a major hazard to everyone here."

"Roger that, Tovee," responded a high ranking officer, through an intercom of his own, "We're setting up roadblocks now. Just make sure no-one gets anywhere near those flames!"

"Ten-four," called Tovee. Just then, Aiden, Ivan and co. arrived at the scene. Tovee rushed over there immediately.

"Hey!" Tovee shouted at the group, "Everyone get back right now! It's far too dangerous to be here!"

Rika looked down as her trap cards began to shake, threatening to be destroyed.

[b]"Well that's slightly annoying,"[/b] she said [b]"Oh well, I guess since you just blew up your own back row I can't exactly complain."[/b]

She stood by idly as her face down cards, Enchanted Mirror, Dark Magical Lightning and Mana Burn were sent to the graveyard.

[b]"Are you done posing yet?"[/b] Rika asked [b]"Because in case you've forgotten, with your trap card gone my monster regains all her ATK points."[/b]

Ariana showed off a wicked grin as a black aura surrounded her, raising her ATK once again.

[b]"And now you're back to square 1,"[/b] Rika grinned [b]"Oh well, feel free to try again. I'm a nice girl so I'll give you a second chance."[/b]

"[color="#0000FF"]Hey!! Are you okay[/color]?!" Ivan asked while trying to help in anyway. Then he heard him speak about following a bird, "[color="#0000FF"]What...a Bird? Where[/color]?" Ivan asked while looking around, then notices Aiden getting on his runner and Ivan shouted, "[color="#0000FF"]Wait! Hold on[/color]!" Running to his runner, Ivan jumps onto it and fires it up. Turning his head to the little kids once more, Ivan says, "[color="#0000FF"]Alright kids, I have to leave a little bit earlier but we'll meet up next week same time okay[/color]?" All four of them shouted, "[color="#FF0000"]Okay[/color]!!" Shaking his head, Ivan waves good bye and rides off along with Aiden. A few moments later, Ivan got up to asking, "[color="#0000FF"]By the way Aiden, where did you get your dragon card? I've never seen the likes of it before[/color]."

"Oh there must be some mistake officer," cried Aiden, "I was just wondering if that bird thing in the sky was important to me is all." The pain from earlier returned but this time it was much worse. [i]Danger[/i] he thought. "Who are you if I may ask officer," noticing she was wearing weird robes and such; her arm has a weird mark like mine does as he rolled up his sleeves to compare marks.

"Seriously now, do these Dark Signers pay you to be this retarded?" Simonachi asked mockingly, after shaking his head in disgust, "That was only the start of my assault, and I won't be done till I've pounded something into your thick skull! I summon Fabled Raven in Attack Position!" A blue-skinned humanoid being soared into the fray, his read cape and the feathers on his forearms, forelegs and stomach flailing behind him.

[b][center]Fiend-type/LIGHT/Level 2/1300 ATK/1000 DEF[/center][/b]

"Oh by the way, your monster can have its increased Attack Points. While she does that, I'll destroy it with Khakki, Guerilla of Dark World!" Simonachi held said card straight in the air. It then suddenly transformed into a silver dagger, blade pointing skywards as the transforming drew to a conclusion. Simonachi hurled the dagger at Ariana with all his might, having it pierce straight into her heart as she fell to her knees, before disintegrating into nothingness.

"Now, before you ask, I discarded it by the effect of Fabled Raven," Simonachi explained, "Not only does it now gain a Level, but it also increases its Attack by 400 points!"

"I'll also Summon Dark World Wisp from my Deck in Attack Position." A skull descended onto the field, levitating in the air thanks entirely to a dark aura that surrounded it. Its irises glowed a blindly bright white.

[i]"And so it comes to present that the Dark World,"[/i] Simonachi chanted, [i]"as a permanent outpost of the netherworld, arises to destroy all that are deemed weak and helpless. I call forth... Puressim, Demigod of Dark World!"[/i]

All 3 monsters on Simonachi's side of the side vanished in their entirety. In their place hovered a familiar-looking skeletal dragon, that roared in intimidation as it gazed at Rika's empty field.

"And that's not all, I activate my own Cards of Demise," Simonachi continued, "and since I no longer have a single hand, I draw 5 cards. And look at this: I Summon Dark Armed Dragon in Attack Position, and then I remove from play all monsters in my grave except Renge to Summon Dark Necrofear! That I'll also place in Attack Position!"

A second familiar dragon appeared alongside Puressim, along with a new monster, a second blue-skinned humanoid being. This one was bald and had pointy eyes, and was holding a broken statuette of clay, cradling it as if it were a baby.

"Now, everyone attack that stupid woman's Life Points directly!" Simonachi commanded. All three monsters charged straight into Rika without a moment's hesitation. Assuming her reflexes weren't superhuman, she'd hardly have any time to brace herself.

Ivan watched as the Sector Security women made her first move and past it to Aiden. He clenched his fist and mumbled to himself, "[color="#0000FF"]Watch your self Aiden. This one might be difficult[/color]."

"I draw," Aiden said as he viewed his opponent; he looked at his hand and saw his draw was to be desired. "I place three cards face-down and I set one monster," Aiden said, "The I'll activate Different Dimension Capsule." "By removing from play 1 card now in my deck," he stated, "I'll be able to add that card to my deck in just two turns." He said removing from play one card in his deck not revealing it to his opponent. "Your move," he finished.

"Going on the defensive, are we?" asked Tovee after she drew her next, "Well, I don't think its going to work. Cold Wave, activate!" A blast of ice immediately shot its way across the field, freezing both opponents' face-down cards.

"I'll also Special Summon Gilasaurus in Attack Position, and then sacrifice it immediately to Summon Dark Driceratops in Attack Position!" A small brown dinosaur hopped onto the stage, but it was immediately pushed aside a large green Triceratops with purple claws. This monster sunk its head down, pointing its sharp black horns towards Aiden.

"Now its time for my first attack," Tovee declared, "Dark Driceratops, destroy that monster and send it to the Graveyard!"

Dark Driceratops charged at full speed towards the face down monster. At this rate, it seemed sure to hit with enough force to send the monster flying back towards Aiden.
