"NAY!" Al yelled at the top of his lungs. Breathing in, he started to speak at his normal voice level again, "If we see this gift it won't be a gift. It'll either be purely an incentive or something to be ignored. You shouldn't go around showing off your magic gift unless someone's getting it. But that's just my opinion. Considering that I have pretty much no standing here, that's all it is. Though I must say, there's been a huge lack of Dark Signer talk here and that's good for me. The longer it takes to bother with the Signers, the happier I'll be. It's not like death by card games is a great fate."

Dorian looked at the girl and was thinking of a good way to explain this. "I know that I may seem crazy, but its the truth. I dueled a guy named Kurai. I don't know if he was using contact lenses or just because of the lighting of the street, but he had clouded pupils. He also had a strange presence. Somewhat dark if there was a right word for it. The whole thing seemed...unnatrual." he explained as he looked towards the ocean. "Like a living nightmare."

"well sorry if someone gave me the wrong impression of what we hope to achieve but I still think this gift reeks of a trap. Anyway we don't know anything abou this Rei and I don't like not knowing that sort of thing. Anyway, I don't really care what happens to this place after we beat the signers. Once that happens, the world can go to hell for all I care. I didn't want to be here in the first place and if it wasn't for the Earthbound Immortals than I wouldn't be here. If it wasn't for the Earthbound Immortals than I would be dead and glad of it." Renee went quiet again, annoyed at the other dark signers, at the world and at her brother, James, for leaving her in the satellite to die while he joined the pro circuit and became the 'King' of dueling.

"Hey, did any of you hear me?!" the officer yelled once more at the trio. Seeing Aiya flinch on his arrival, the officer sighed, shaking his head after presuming this to be a typical response.

"Look, you guys really shouldn't be here at this time of day," the officer lectured on, "Least of all right now. We're trying to look for an escapee with that dreaded silver mark, and we really need the space we can get. He should be here any..."

Out of nowhere Simonachi jumped back onto the dockside, appearing to surprise the officer. Immediately calling for backup, the officer shined a torch in his direction. He proved to be... unflinching. Simonachi brushed off the seaweed and stuff that must've clung onto his body while he was diving underwater. He then grabbed his deck of card, and performed various tricks whilst waiting, lingering for the officer to make a move.

"Simonachi Lervako!" the officer called, "This is Sector Security! Your are required to put your hands in the air! I repeat, put your hands in the air! We have you surrounded!" Simonachi smirked at this statement.

"You and what army?" he asked mockingly.

Meanwhile, Tovee had eventually found what she was looking for. There were a group of persons having a meeting, and because of her mark continuing to pulsate this dark aura, she correctly assumed them to be the Dark Signers. Getting off her Duel Runner and leaving it behind, Tovee approached the Dark Signers, grabbing what appeared to be the leader by the shirt and lifting him off his feet, digging her broken nails into his chest.

"I got your message, jackass!" Tovee spat, glaring at this person the whole time.

"Well, I think I'll just be leaving then." Al stood up and pushed his chair away. As he did so, another woman walked straight in and picked Blood up. "Well, I like her already. Give him a punch for me would you? I'll be outside for a while."

Leaving the brewing squabble behind, he left the reactor room and sat outside on a huge hunk of metal. Stretching his arm outwards and placing his palm face-up, he started playing around with the flames. He quickly put the flames out and headed over to is old Duel Runner. As he revved the engine, he engulfed himself in flames and when they had gone, he was in his normal clothes. No facial marks, no robes, no black eyes. As the engine droned on, he sat on the bike and waited for a moment.

Daisuke Looks wierd at Dorian. When he heard about the conversation of the guy he was confused, but look straight at Dorian.

-"That sounds interesting... Lately that presence has been all along town. And lately my arm has been killing me for some odd reason. The presence of Undead and darkness..."

He says holding his arm. He felt the arm beating. Could it mean something? He looked at the osean, but he turned to look back at the two individuals. this was an interesting conversation they were having.

Aiya shivvered slightly at the story, the idea of a blind duellist was already wierd enough without the 'nightmare' addition the boy added.

"I...I see," she replied, clearly unnerved "W-well I guess I'll just be..."

"Hey, did any of you hear me?!"

Aiya flinched as she was cut off by a security officer and looked about, having not noticed him before.

Oh great, now what? She thought.

She was about to reply when another person jumped out of the water, causing Aiya to flinch once more and take a step behind Dorian.

What the hell is going on? She moeaned inwardly I just wanted to come here to be alone and now fish-people are popping out of the water or something.

Rei dismissed the armor around Rika and the massive vehicle in the room, her arms and legs returning to normal as well. "It seems like you would prefer not to see the gift until I have made my decision. I respect that, and will gladly oblige. However, I do not understand why you would think I would have any malicious intentions towards you or your allies. I have been nothing but helpful and cooperative. Sure, I refuse to get involved in your conflict with the Signers, but that doesn't mean I am your enemy. If I was, I assure you I would have defeated you by now. Trickery is not my forte."

Dorian was quite alarmed when Sector Security came around the get the group. "Oh great. This can't be much worse." he said as a man in seaweed popped out of the water. "Spoke too soon... This is turning into a cheesy horror movie." The Security told the man to stop what he was doing and give up peacefully. It was then that Dorian knew who it was by the amount of Security. "Wait a minute. Thats Simonachi Lervako. He's on the run by Sector Security and somehow escaped from the Facility. He's been on the news. Now this is truely worse."

"Sector Security," Tovee declared, smirking and holding her badge for the other Dark Signers to see, "You can always expect us to make a scene." Tovee turned to the man named Blood and dropped him onto the ground, expecting him to land on his feet. She then aimed a punch at his left eye, her nails that would be digging into his eyelid if it were to connect.

"That's for nearly blowing my cover!" she growled, "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a fugitive Signer to track down. But first, I believe you owe me a handful of cards..."

Tovee handed over her standard Pursuit Deck for Blood to take off her, hanging on to only one card: Earthbound Immortal Ruina Occasus. It was unknown as to how Tovee received it; perhaps it suddenly appeared in her Pursuit Deck at some stage. But each time she left this card elsewhere, it would always reappear in her deck at one stage or another. Tovee had since figured that she was destined to keep the card, but badly needed a better deck that was to support it.

(OOC Note: Edited to reduce suspicion of power-play).

"He's...Wait he's a criminal?" Aiya replied in response, looking between Dorian and the man trying (and probably succeeding) to intimidate the security officer "Sh-shouldn't we get out of here or something?" She added, dropping her voice lest this Simonachi person overheard her "I mean, he looks dangerous!"

However, despite her own advice she remained rooted to the spot; partly by fear, partly by her own overpowering curiosity.

****

Rika raised an eyebrow and looked up at Rei.

"So this isn't a one-time gift kind of deal then?" She asked "And what exactly makes a world 'worthy' of this thing anyway cause it sure doesn't seem to be 'world peace and happiness' if you're hanging out with us."

She would have continued had it not been for the new person barging in and outright assaulting Blood for whatever reason. Rika didn't life a finger in response or even yell out for that matter.

"Anyways," she continued addressing Rei, ignoring what else was happening "You should probably know I don't give a dingo's kidneys about these 'signers' (hell only know why an Earthbound Immortal chose me in that case) so I wouldn't lump me together with these guys if I were you, just thought I'd point that out."

Dorian tried to move, since he was scared to be face to face with a crominal, but something was wrong. His brain kept telling his body to move, but the body didn't respond. "This is really weird." he whispered back to the Aiya. "I do want to run. I'm dead scared of him. But something inside me. I don't know what is telling me to overcome it and take him on. I feel like he's...sort of like me." Dorian explained. "I don't know how exactly. But it feels like somethings stopping me from running."

Daisuke was looking at Dorian, when out of no where, he noticed the police, and the person jumping out of the water.

-"I Think that shouldnt even be possible... "

He said while looking at the guy that came out of the water. When he noticed the person who came out, Daisuke rapidly looked his surrounding and pulled his duel disk out.

-"This guy is dangerous."

He said while he got a serious face. This transformed into a giant mess, and Daisuke didnt want to duel, but if he had to defend those people, he would duel.

Shutting the engine of his Duel Runner off, Al sighed and stepped away. Changing into his robes, he headed back inside. Taking his seat again, he acted as though he hadn't left and started playing around with the fire. While doing so, he contemplated the future. The lack of one, anyway. No matter what happened, it wasn't as if he'd 'live' for much longer. The next few whatevers of his life would be spent playing card games that could leave him dead if he lost or leave him dead if the other Dark Signers won.

Simonachi completely overheard Dorian's words of information, paying little attention to the Sector Security Officers that were now surrounding him.

"I escaped for a reason, kid," he warned, "You can deny it all you want, but the truth is this: The world is peril right now. As we speak, the Dark Signers are amassing a plot to send everything to The Netherworld. And they vow that nothing, not even we Signers, shall stop them. But I beg to differ..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah..." a random officer called back, "You say this all the time, Simon. Seriously, no-one believes this bull..."

"Silence!" Simonachi spat, "You yourselves are nothing more than the twisted puppets of a hidden hand! Pah, why don't you ask Miss Tovee Coma herself? She's a Dark Signer, surely she'd be able to fill you all in."

"I have a better idea, Simon," the officer that was first to the scene responded, "You're under arrest breaking outside the Facility, in addition to your original charges. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be..."

"Or perhaps I can have someone pound it into your thick skulls!" scoffed Simonachi, "I summon Puressim, Demigod of Dark World!" Demonic clouds filled the sky, and merged into a serpentine form. Bones lined the clouds' body, with a dragonic skull at one end and various arm bones on each side.

"Puressim, teach them a lesson not to mess with us!" Simonachi commanded, "Infernal Maelstrom! NOW!!"

The being shot a stream of indigo flames at the officers' feet. As this happened, a mark on Simonachi's chest glowed, brightly enough too blind anyone that drew to close. A few seconds later, it faded, as the officers scrambled to evade the stream of fire. Somewhere in the distance, Tovee's mark glowed too.

"Renee let him be, for a Dark Signer who choose to defied the Gods' voices aren't worth..." and before Blood finish what he said, he was soon pounced by a white hair female and assaulted by her.

Blood kicked her in the belly so that he could break free from her. "What are trying to do? Did played too much zombie games till it brainwashed your mind," said blood as he tried to stand, " couldn't you see that we are having some conversation in here?"

Blood turns to Rei. " Thanks for your offer. You can bring Rika and Al with you, but just so you know I wouldn't like wait too long. Now finally when things finally gets to settle, another one came in"

Blood walk towards the new guest, only to realised that she's part of the sector security, but also an owner of an Earthbound God. " what nonsense are you spouting? I don't remember to have any deck for you in the first place" siad Blood in a disgusted tone. Man another Dark Signer with an attitude problem...

"Oh really," Tovee scoffed, before attempting to fill Blood some details about a conversation she had with a voice in her head, "I know what I heard!"

Tovee was fully aware of the blow she must've suffered to her stomach. But for unknown reasoning, she felt much more pain from the burning sensation from her mark. Something must've happened that caused it to trigger off, but she didn't know what. Perhaps it was due to the attack from Puressim, Demigod of Dark World, that Simonachi summoned to the real world.

"That zombie thing..." Tovee smirked, "I get that a lot too. Now, let's try this more civilly. These spirits told me that you can help me with my deck. You are the leader of this domain, are you not?"

Dorian ntoticed the blaze coming right for the three of them and tried to shield himself from it. But something was off. He turned around and noticed it. The flames didn't go in their direction. It went to the Sector Security, who started scattering and some even running. He looked at Simonachi, whose mark was fading at the time. Was what he is saying true? That he escaped from the Facility because of a Dark Signer. He activated his Duel Disk and looked at Simonachi. "It seems that we have something to prove Simon." Dorian said as his deck was being auto-shuffled. "Although I do somehow beleive you with this Dark Signer deal, I want to be proven how much you really wanted to break out of The Facility for."

Akio's eyes shifted towards the newly entered Tovee. "Hm, interesting, another security. I hope you weren't in the squad where that one leader had a horrible accident." He stared at Blood, "I don't think she's going to be that much use to us. Controlling Sector Security, no matter how tempting, is just a game I don't want to play. Besides, the securites are probably better dead then alive. If she's willing to go against the securities," Akio leaned back in his chair, "Then she might go against us as well. But hey, I'm not the leader. Do what you feel is right."

As soon as Simonachi Mark Lightened up, Daisukes arms started hurting alot,. up to one point that his signer mark started showing.

"... What is this....?"

Daisuke said while he looked at his arm with this strange thing shining in it. It was like a heart in shape. When Simonachi mark faded, Daisuke also did, but his arm continued hurting. When he saw that Dorian was going to duel him, Daisuke was next to him with his deck shuffling too.

"I am not gonna let you this alone, ya know."

He said smiling at Dorian.

"That's just fine by me..." Simonachi whispered, unsummoning Puressim, shuffling his Deck, drawing 5 cards and allowing Dorian to do the same, "You know the rules, challenger goes last. DRAW!!" Simonachi drew a sixth card and smirked with glee.

"I place one card face down and activate Card Destruction, sending both of our hands to the Graveyard in exchange for new ones. But first, read 'em and weep!"

Simonachi revealed his now 4-carded hand. It contained Quickdraw Synchron, Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World, Sillva, Warlord of Dark World and Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World. This could only mean one thing: Dorian was to expect 4 monsters to oppose.

"See the tuner? See the Dark World monsters? See all their levels? It allows me to Special Summon Puressim, Demigod of Dark World, and I place it in Attack Position! And don't forget the other three monsters: I'll also summon them in Attack Position."

Dragon-type/DARK/Level 9/2900 ATK/2600DEF
Fiend-type/DARK/Level 5/2300 ATK/1400DEF
Fiend-type/DARK/Level 5/2300 ATK/1400DEF
Fiend-type/DARK/Level 4/1600 ATK/1300DEF

"I then place the remaining cards in my hand face-down," Simonachi declared, "Your move..."

Back at the Dark Signer meeting, Tovee turned to Akio, glaring at him.

"I presume you don't know of Simonachi Lervako?" she asked, "Sector Security's after his blood, and he just happens to be a Signer. True, they prove to be useless outside of scouting purposes, but that's the only thing I need now..." Tovee cleared her throat, "Also my deck."

Tovee's eye's shifted to Blood.

Droian looked at Daisuke. "Just hold up Daisuke. This isn't a duel to mean something. This is totally the opposite. Its just between me and Simon." he said as he discarded his five cards, which were less than he expected and drew 5 new ones. this one was better. "My turn." He drew a card from his deck and had a scowl. "I'll summon a monster in Defense Position. I'll set two cards face down and end my turn."

Dorian: 8000
Hand: 3
Field: 1 face down monster, 2 f/d
Grave: 5

Simon: 8000
Hand: 0
Field: Goldd, Silva, Beiige, Puressim

Daisuke backs off a little bit. And stands Behind Dorian. He understood what he meant when he said those words. Even though Daisuke didnt understand the mark in his own arm. He was not going to ask, but he knew there was something going on here that he did not understand just yet. It might explain that unexplainable Dragon card that appeared in his deck.

-"Ok, As you say Dorian, you better win this one, ya know?"

He said while smiling and cheering for Dorian. Even though he didnt know him very well, he felt that they had something in common. He would cheer for him until he won.

In the town, James started to feel his arm burn and looked down to see his signer mark light up. Once he had control over the pain, he focused on the mark and felt where it was comming from, the dock that he was near until just recently. As he rode his duel runner over, one of the cards in his synchro deck lit up and pulling it out, he saw the his ace card, Ancient Dragon shining and glowing as if recognising another signer dragon. He reached the docks that were cordoned off by sector security and, as they came to stop him, revved his engine and jumped over the barrier to come down near a duel with one signer and a second signer watching. Deciding to stay out of the duel, he waited next to the non-dueling signer to watch the duel.

Blood could see lots of hatred in her eyes. "Well I can say that I'm the one who could called everyone, but I can't say that I'm the leader who everyone likes," said Blood as he glance at Al for a moment who is playing aound with his fire, "If you want a deck to defeat the Signer that badly, this deck should be able to bring out the full potential of that Eathbound God of yours."

Blood listened to the warnings given by Akio, but still he took out a deck of cards under his robe, "However on one condition, you will help me from now on as a Dark Signer should be. I believe there should be some use of you since you are part of the Sector Security..."
