Premier Alexander Romanov
Rei chuckled and shook her head, snapping her fingers. Nearby, a large mechanical vehicle about the size of a tractor-trailer, most of it engines, however the machine didn't have a single wheel on it, and it appeared to be floating several inches off of the floor. The machine ejected several mechanical parts out, which floated over to Rika, attaching themselves to the Dark Signer, eventually forming armor around her. A silver go then flowed across her body as more parts connected to her and a helmet formed around her head. Finally, the silver suit had finished uplinking all of the parts, and Rika now appeared to be some sort of mech and was also hovering. "Where I come from, as duels got faster and faster, Duel Runners had to get bigger and bigger to compensate, and eventually, an ejection system was needed for the duelists. Over time, these primitive self-propelled cockpits gained limbs, eventually becoming Duel Arms, a mechanical suit of powered armor around the duelist built for high-speed duels. The Duel Runners, now called Duel Frames, are used to accelerate the Duel Arms to above Mach 2 and then launch the Duel Arms into combat, as well as mobile maintenance depots and bases for the duelists, since where I come from, you have to travel. A lot. This was just the logical evolution for dueling in my world."
galesonic
Dorian arrived at the docks. It was very quiet for one, as well as dark. Nearly a perfect site for dueling. He checked through different parts of the docks. He has seen various crates carrying useless things, like new barrings for Duel Runners, which was useless, since the newer models don't need ball barrings. As he was about to give up, he noticed a girl at the docks by herself. He must've came to the wrong place if she was the only one here. "Oh. I'm sorry to disturb you." he said. "I was looking for some duels. I guess they weren't in the docks."
TotalObelisk
Rika took a second to admire the armour now covering her body, it was a damn sight better than her Dark Signer robes, which were chilly at best. "Okay, I admit it. I'm impressed," she said, a smile curling about her lips "But still, the lengths people will go just to make a card game more exciting amaze me." She let out a low chuckle, turning back to Rei. "So how do I work this thing anyway?" She asked "I mean it's not like there's a 'go' button in here anywhere." **** Aiya quickly stood up when she realized there was in fact someone else there, dusting off her skirt from where she'd been sitting. "Uuh..." she began hesitantly "I...I'm sorry but not so far as I know." She replied "You....You weren't expecting anyone here, were you?" She bit her lip as she asked what was clearly a stupid question. "N-nevermind," she said, attempting not to make eye contact.
Premier Alexander Romanov
<I can help!> A much more cheery version of Rei's voice called out in Rei's head. In the corner of her field of vision, a cute 3D chibi of the strange woman popped up, along with several displays, including a radar and a counter that registered 0 of some measurement of distance related to time. An auto-targeting feature popped up, focused on Rei, and started displaying information in some sort of strange script. <Hello! You must be a first-time user of a Duel Arms! Now, what language would you like to use?> A language selection popped up, showing such options as "English", "Japanese", "French"", and so on and so forth, but it also listed some very strange languages, like "High Kugenan", "Mo'atou", "Atlantean", and "Sangheili". galesonic
Dorian chuckled a bit. "No. No. Its okay. I wasn't expecting anyone here really." he said as he took off his Duel Disk. "But its nice to see some people around, duelists or not." he took the deck out of its holster and placed it in his pocket. "Its actually been pretty quiet in my section of town. Since new dueling groups showed up, nobody really wants to go out at night there." he said as he scratched the back of his head. "I think I'm talking too much about this." The True Ace Attorney
"Metal is dull... Not that I care, I've got magic. The only problem I have is, speed. Do those things go faster than standard Duel Runners by default or what? Though I can't really say anything about the speed of a Duel Runner that was summoned from flames. Might be just as fast. Hell, it may go faster. Magic's awesome..." Al mused out loud while waiting for Rika to finish with whatever she needed to de to get the hulk of machinery working. (OOC: Sangheili... WORT WORT WORT!) Daisuke28
Daisuke continued walking without an specifique route, because he was really lost. He walked so much that he ended in the docks. He had no idea how he ended there, but he wasnt the one to argue, atleast he knew this place was usually full of people -"There should be a lot of people..." Sad while walking into the docks. At the beginning, he saw no one, he was really getting desperate. He lost himself walking. He was way to distracted. -"UMMMMMM... HELLOOOO?!" Shouts Daisuke, hoping people around would hear him
TotalObelisk
Rika was taken aback as the small figure popped up on her visor, accompanied by any number of random readouts that Rika couldn't begin to understand. She waved her hand in front of her face, around where the chibi girl would be if she where real, still with a perplexed look on her face. "Err..." She began "Let's just stick with Japanese and....What the hell is Sangheili?" She said aloud. Okay, cool armour and all, she thought But this is a bit more than your standard acid trip. **** "Oh, right," Aiya replied, suddenly feeling stupid for asking, feeling a tad akward when the guy mentioned 'dueling groups' around his hometown. Aiya had heard a few news broadcasts about the subject, and they had hardly been positive. She unconsciousely took a step away from the boy, turning away to look out at the ocean again. "Well...It's not that I don't duel or anything," she began, trying to break the akward silence "I just...Haven't really been in the mood lately."
Premier Alexander Romanov
Rei nodded. "Under certain circumstances, a Duel Arms can obtain speeds of Mach 3 and higher, but normally duels are restricted to around Mach 2." She replied nonchalantly, though she just said that a "normal duel" for her was 5 times as fast as a regular duel on Duel Runners for Albus and Rika. <Dialect of the Sangheili.> The chibi replied, unfazed by the waving. Apparently, this icon was being displayed on the visor of her suit. <And Japanese will work perfectly!> The symbols changed to Japanese characters as the speed indicator read "km/h". <Here is some information about the Sangheili.> Several windows opened up, displaying text on the Sangheili, which were some sort of humanoid aliens about 8 feet tall with four mandibles for a mouth, and how they fit into the cultures of something called the "Ringworld". galesonic
Dorian lookedt at the girl with some concern. "Let me guess. You have a sister who suddenly turns up missing. You've been trying to contact her for days, maybe weeks. But still you have no feedback from her?" he asked as he took his Battle City replica Duel Disk. "I don't know exactly how it feels since I'm an only child, but I know she'll come back. But I'm not sure if I'm spot on. For all I know, it could be your cat ending up missing." he said as he put on his Duel Disk. He turned towards the crates as he heard the voice of someone calling out. "Someone's here." Blood Yuchi
Blood walked down the stairways entered the meeting where there were three Dark Signers waiting for him. he noticed that there's another female person who had no presence of Dark Signer or Signer in her, and she seem to got along with Al. "I see there that are still other Dark Signer that hasn't arrived, but it seems that Al has brought someone interesting in here today. Aiko take a seat" said Blood as he headed for his seat which located at the end of the large table, " She's neither one of us, nor is she near human either. Speak what business do you have with us." TotalObelisk
Rika was having a bit of a culture shock what with the myriad of information the tiny chibified character was presenting her with. At least she could understand it now. "Yeah, never mind," she said, giving the alien things a funny look "Forget I asked." She lifted the helmet up to get a view without chibis or information splayed across her vision and gave Rei a funny look. "You seriously duel with these things?" She asked "I love a bit of tech and all but this is a bit much, isn't it?" Her gaze shifted as two others entered the room, noting the red hair on one and presuming him to be the 'redheaded prat' Al had mentioned earlier. *** Aiya was slightly surprised at how accurate his guess was, albiet it was a tad off. "Err," she began "Well not that exactly but close enough, I guess." She bit her lip again and frowned when he noticed the yelling from somewhere else along the docks. And to think I came here to be alone for a while, Aiya thought to herself.
King of Nothing
Akio nodded and walked towards where the others were, taking a seat. He looked at the others in the room. From what he had previously seen, he had a brief analasys of each one already. None of them really had his interest. He just gave out a sigh as he stared at one person in particular, someone who didn't seem to be a dark signer. He leaned a bit back in his chair, looking at the ceiling. Let's just get this whole war thing over with already. It's not like the signers are going to be much of a threat anyways. He then shifted his eyes towards Blood, as if asking 'Now what?' The True Ace Attorney
"Damn, it's bloody, bloody, Blood, Blood. I'll be honest," Al looked at Rei a jabbed a thumb towards Blood, "He creeps me out. The fact that I don't know why just makes it worse. Well, we may as well put our little trip on hold for the moment." Al pulled out a cigarette, held it high in the air and stamped hard on the ground. The huge note he had left on the wall burst out violently and lit the end of the cigarette and immediately put itself out, leaving Al with alit cigarette. Pulling out a chair, Al, still amused with the extent of control he had over the fire, said excitedly, "I still love this stuff." (It's getting late here so I'm swapping over to my iPod. Premier Alexander Romanov
Rei went up to Blood and bowed to him. "Hello. I am Rei Tousen, and I wish to grant your world a wonderful gift, but only if it proves itself worthy. I am here to evaluate this world to determine whether it can handle my gift. I was going to go take some of your companions to the Annex to show them the gift I plan on giving this Earth." She then turned back to Rika. "If your civilization proves worthy, this technology might become much more commonplace. And would you rather duel on a clunky, slow Duel Runner or inside of a sleek, comfortable Duel Arms, which is truly an extension of yourself?"
Daisuke28
Daisuke continued walking aimlessly, since he really had no idea where to go. He was shouting once more. -"WELL... IF YOU WANT TO KILL ME, ILL BE HERE..." After this he laughs a little bit. It was like a nervious laugh since he could hear no one. and it was kind of dark and there was no one around. He decided to go to the dock and as soon as he passed the creates, he saw two people. One girl and one man. -"Well... Hello there...." He said while he was running while he was there. -"Sorry to bother you, But I got lost and I have noo idea where to go." He said kinda nervious and he looked at both individuals. Daisuke had his Elemental Dragon in his hand, he didnt even notice it.
galesonic
Dorian sighed a bit. "It must be me. Somehow I always attract the crazies. Just around half an hour ago, I dueled a blind guy who can apparently see by a mark that was glowing under his eye. And to add insult to injury, he inflicted pain in the duel too." he then scratched the back of his neck. "I get the feeling you came here to be alone. By the way, my name is Dorian." he said as he took his deck back out and placed it in the Duel Disk. He then looked at the man with some confusion. "You're at the docks. To get to town just go north. You'll be there pretty fast."
Admiral_Stalfos19
Simonachi opened up the Duel Runner, and took off down the long and loathsome road ahead of him. It eventually lead to the Satellite, a desolate city that was mostly made up of slums. Seeing the officer still pursuing him, he turned into a dockside, and grinded to a halt. It turned that there were Sector Security officers all over the place. Maybe they were expecting Simonachi there the whole time. He killed the engine, seeing no way of escape. Meanwhile, Tovee Coma was wandering the streets near the dockside. But something was different about her. Her hair had turned white instead of the usual blonde. Her eyes had taken on a vastly redder colour than her usual brown. Tovee's arms and legs were nothing more than machinery from the elbows and knees down. And her Sector Security uniform, which had a much darker tinge than usual, was in shreds. It appeared bound to peel off at any stage, yet barely managed to stay on. Tovee also had a mark on her back, of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. This was edged into her back, which was completely bear otherwise. It was pulsating a dark aura every so often, but Tovee paid little attention to it. Instead, she turned to a nearby Sector Security Office, who was having a slight coffee break. "I better get going," she told him, "I need to prepare for a briefing." "A briefing, really?" the officer asked in return, "We already had the only one we're going to get today." "Not for today, you moron, for tomorrow!" Tovee snapped back, before turning to her Duel Runner, "I'll see you then." Tovee moved on, attempting to look for the other Dark Signers. The last thing she knew was that they were supposed to have a meeting about this time, but they didn't reveal the location.
Daisuke28
Daisuke Listened to what the kid said. He smiled. -"Thank you so much. I am really lost... By the way, My name is Daisuke. You can Call me Dai." He said happy. He noticed that he still had the elemetal dragon on his hand, he quickly put the card back in his extra deck and was kind of nervious afterwards. he smiled and looked at the guy. -"Whats your name?" He said looking at him and at the woman next to him. Out of no where, Daisuke started to have a pain in his right arm out of no where, but he decided to ignore it. Admiral_Stalfos19
Simonachi spread his arms wide open and to the side, almost if he wanted the officers to embrace him. But as they drew near, he smirked. Before doing a back flip, lunging off from an officer's shoulder with his foot and landing into the sea. The officers then swam after him, a helicopter following them overhead. Back at the dockside, the officer that was previously speaking to Tovee decided to enter the dockside where the rest of them were now pursuing Simonachi. At this time he received an update. "Damn it, we lost him," a voice came from the officer's intercom, "Must've taken a dive somewhere along here." "Roger that," the officer replied from the intercom, "Should I go inside the docks in case he doubles back?" "Yeah, you do that, and call for back-up while you're at it!" the voice commanded, "The last thing we need is for him to escape again!" With that, the officer went in. After hours passed the officer decided to patrol the docks. Eventually he found three persons. Unfortunately for him, none of them were Simonachi. "Hey, you guys can't be here," the officer informed all three persons.
TotalObelisk
Rika frowned slightly at Rei's response, wondering if she was being sarcastic or not. "Well I don't know the first thing about motobikes and I don't really care to," she replied "So it looks like that's settled." She sat back down again, taking a seat near the far end of the table and staring over at Blood. So guessing he's the leader or whatever, she thought Well could be worse I guess, we could have got some freaky old guy obsessed with spiders. **** Oh great, more people, Aiya thought. "Wait, blind guy?" She replied "How...How the heck would a blind guy be able to duel?" Aiya took another nervous step away from the pair, now feeling completely unnerved by the guy that had first arrived. Reinforce
"About time you got back Blood, these fools were getting ready to go off and see some gift that a this Rei is offering, probably a trap in my opinion." Renee said to Blood. "Anyway, isn't the whole point of us dark signers to summon the king of the underworld to destroy this world, a gift that would help the world and the people in it would be rather pointless and useless when we win and it is destroyed." Confident that she had made her point, Renee sat back and started to create some of the purple fire and experiment with different shades and colours of it, switching the colour to a light green, then to a pale red before switching it back to the original purple. The True Ace Attorney
"Are you retarded or something, Renee? What would be the point of destroying the world? If they wanted to destroy the world, there'd be no reason to go after the Signers. Now, conquering is a much different thing. I totally get conquering but not destroying. If we're going after Signers just so the Earthbound Immortals can destroy this planet, I'm out. That's like sending a team of elite agents to kill the guards of some high end facility and leaving them in there while you nuke it, something you could've done while the guards were alive." Al said all of this while leaning back on his chair and looking straight up. He wasn't joking much either. If they were just going to blow everything up, he was out. Hell, he might not do anything anyway, it just seemed like a waste of time. Nothing was really going to be achieved if they won.
Blood Yuchi
"Rei Tousen...," said Blood as he gazed at her. I have seen many Earths from many different time periods and with different histories. However, I am always thorough with my evaluations. I have been traveling around this world for a few months, but now I have decided to observe the conflict that will decide the fate of this world. I hope you don't mind.
