[IC] Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Diares

Tokyo Duel

Recommended Posts

((Forgot to say that mystical Space Typhoon is also in the grave.))

Kurai sighed, and drew his card. He smiled a little at the card, but was still slightly disappointed. At the moment, all that card was was a line of defence. He needed a different card, and didn't know if he'd draw it in time. At the moment, things were looking good for him, but Kurai doubted it would last. Although it didn't show well, Kurai could tell this boy had talent, and would have to take precautions. "I'll play this card face down, and end my turn." Kurai said, placing the single card on his field. He shrugged. "I guess that's all I can do for now. Your turn."

"What!? My dragon! No!" Ivan shouted out. For a while, Ivan stood there staring at his graveyard where he had put his Ancient Sorcerer Dragon. Then he finally spoke, "Your the first person to ever destroy my dragon." A smile appeared on his face while looking at Adien, "Your good! I mean, REALLY good. I have to admit, I didn't think there was anyone who could destroy my monster with such ease but I guess I was proven wrong today. Looking back at his deck, Ivan continues, "Now then, shall we continue? At the End phase of your Turn, I get to return my Unstable Aura back to my hand. Now, My Draw!" Looking at his hand carefully, Ivan says, "I think I'm going to summon this monster in defense mode, arise my Dark Magician Kid!" A tiny kid like version of the once known powerful Spellcaster monster appeared on the battlefield. "I'll place 1 card face down and End my turn."

(Edited)

Dorian started his turn. "Okay then. I'll draw." He drew a card and sighed. This was definantly not going well for him. Not even close, but this card could do soemthing, but not now. "Again this isn't getting me anywhere." he said. "I'll set one card face down. The card shined right behind Saber Gearton. "Then I'll attack Twilight Blood Lord with Saber Gearton." Saber Gearton launched towards Twilight Blood Lord ready to strike it. Both of its blades suddenly had giant gusts of wind swirling around it, like a tornado. "I hope this works out. This is all I have for the time being"

Kurai: 6250-750= 5500 (If not countered)

"Those who are like me come join me and open the gates of the Netherworld!

Rika heard the voice and sat up in her bed, staring ahead of her with the same dark expression she'd been wearing the past few days.

"You head that, did you not," the voice of the Earthbound Immortal spoke to her.

"I did," she replied cynically "What of it?"

"You will not heed his call?"

"Why should I?" Rika jumped out of bed and wandered over to her window "They can do what they like, but I have only one thing in mind."

"She is not even a signer, she is no threat to you,"

"Exactly!" Rika snapped back "She's not special at all, I don't see why she always gets the special treatment when I'm a far better duelist than she is, and now..." She reached into the pouch on her belt, pulling out a deck of cards "...Now I'm stronger than ever."

"Yes, but thanks to me!" The Earthbound Immortal's voice grew impatient "You OWE me, child, and you will swear feilty to me and the rest of the Dark Signers. You should know I can take your powers away just as easily as I gave them!"

Rika glared at nothing in particular and stowed her deck away again.

"Fine," she said "If it means I get what I want."

She left the room, walking out onto the street, black mist swirling around her as the whites of her eyes became black, a pair of dark purple marks forming on either side of her face and looking like curved claws running down her cheeks. Her clothes morphed, becoming a dark hood and cloak with a sleeveless black shirt, detached sleeves, a mini-skirt and boots with a white trim before she vanished from sight completely, materilaizing within the BAD area near enough to the Dark Signer hideout. She looked about the immediate area, casting a cynical glare at their surroundings before walking inside the hideout, descending the long set of stairs and entering the dark room at the bottom. She cast a lazy glane around the room before setting her sights on the red-haired boy at the end of the room.

"This is it?" She asked, sounding sceptical "I was expecting more."

(OOC: I'm assuimg the hideout is the same, or at least similar, to the original)

(OOC: @The True Ace Attorney - Did I mention before in the IC RP that I have the Old Signer Dragons?)

"For someone who had such strong mind and will to suppress his Earthbound God is kind of remarkable I should say, however it's kinda pity to say that little did you much know of the new Signers do you?" said Blood in an annoyed tone, "If only you have listen to 'Cclochuaha' more, you would have known that it has been a thousand years since the last war between the Signers and the Dark Signers. The Crimson Dragon had to eliminate the other Signer Dragons, as they all were forgotten about. In fact right now, those old lizards are pretty much pieces of crap that aren't worth to be standing in the duel."

Blood stood up from his sit, "If you have any more questions to ask, I hope you could save them for later till all our fellow allies are here. Right now there's a fellow ally who I like to fetch, you guys might want to meet him too or search for the others."

Blood left his seat and as he walk past Rene, he stopped for a moment as he felt disgusted by what she had said. "And by the way, I hope all of you have some respect for your current position as Dark Signers. Be it that you are able to suppress the evil ones or you wish to die, you have a duty and a role to fulfill to serve the King of the Netherworld. Even so the Gods wouldn't let you do whatever you like with them, you can trust me on that," having said that Blood headed for the exit.
--------------------
Standing in the outskirts of the B.A.D., Blood was looking at something far beyond the horizon. "It's still the same after one thousand years since the very first Ener-D incident. Now that I think about it, I couldn't believe that the previous Earthbound Gods could actually lost. What a laughing stock," said the voice that resound in Blood's head, "You better not be like those previous Mark of the Shadows holders."

"You need not worry about that Xolotl, for I have a different and bigger ambition than those fools. Besides the person we are currently meeting right now holds great knowledge I suppose. He should know how we can bring life back to the Underworld. He should be here now any moment," said Blood, as he took out six white color frame cards under his robe, "For now these pieces of crap should be good enough for you stomach. We'll have have more when the war starts."

(OOC: the Dark Signer I'm going to fetch right now is Aiko if you guys didn't know.)

"I draw," Aiden said, "Now I discard my D.D. Crow to remove from play your Ancient Sorcerer Dragon." He said as his opponent silently took his dragon out the Graveyard and placed it in his pocket. "Now I attack your Dark Magician Kid," Aiden said as his mighty machine reared back for another attack, "Go Draconis Ascension." His monster's three main heads veered back and fired three red lasers at his opponent's monster.

"Sorry Adien, but thats not happening! I activate my face down card, Battle Binder!" Reveling his face down, Ivans trap card stopped his opponents monster in it's track. "This card stops your attack and Ends the Battle Phase all together. Plus, I can select one new trap and place it face down in it's place, down side is that I have to pay 3000 Life points but I believe it will be worth it. As his Life Points dropped, Ivan searched his deck for a new card for the replacement. Once selected, he continued, "I hope your finished, because I'm going to show you some new tricks." The little girl started to tug on his shirt and said, "But what about your dragon card? Aren't you sad?" Ivan looked down at her and smiled, "It's okay. I am sad but I know it's not over yet."

"Yes I am finished," Aiden said, "But if you plan to make a duel out of this you better next turn." "If you don't it'll be all over," Aiden said as his monster looked down his opponent. He began to think the many possible ways he could finish this duel. He thought for a couple of seconds and he easily found the best idea. "I end my turn," he stated waiting for his next move.

"Alright then, I draw!" Looking at his hand, Ivan smiled and said, "Sorry Adien, but your monster is going down this turn, I activate my face down Dark Mirror Reflection!" A large mirror appeared behind Dark Magician Kid and started to splilt him apart into three other creatures. Ivan explained, "By sacrificing my Dark Magician Kid, I gain three Dark Spellcaster Tokens as powerful as the Dark Magician himself. But now, I sacrifice my three new monsters to summon my ultimate Spellcaster card in this deck, Arise! Dark Remnus The Master Magician!" A Powerful black version of the Dark Magician emerged with it's power over flowing the field, "When this card is summoned, I get up to 2 Spell cards back from my Graveyard. I now activate Pot of Greed that I returned to draw 2 more cards! And the cool part is, now that my magician is in play, any Spell card I use is sent back to my deck instead of the Graveyard." Putting back the Pot of Greed Spell in his deck, Ivan continues, "I activate the Spell card Unstable Aura once again on my master Magician! Now I move to attack on your machine! Aiden began to laugh, "You had me worried for a second." "But now I'll get to brag when I defeat your second monster with five-thousand points," he boasted, "I activate from my hand the Trap Card, Cyber Blockade." He placed a card in his spell and trap card zone. "This special trap can only be activated from the hand and when you declare an attack on a Cyber monster," he stated. "I can now activate one spell or trap card from my deck without setting it," Aiden searched through his deck and placed another card in his Spell and Trap Card Zone, "Go Swords of Revealing Light." Many pillars of light fell from the sky and surrounded his opponents mighty magician. The Pillars took shape as blades as if daring his magician as to try and attack.

Ivan watched as his monster was stopped once again. Seeing Adien laughing at that achievement, he looked down at his hand and then back to the field. Then he said, "You may of stopped my monsters attack but that doesn't mean that this duel is finished just yet! It's still my move and I activate the effect of my Master Magician! I Special Summon Dark Magician from my deck in face up Attack mode!" This time the original Dark Magician appeared before Ivans Master Magician. "And to top things off, I'll activate Graceful Charity to draw 3 cards and discard 2. I'll discard 2 Spell cards in my hand but instead of the Graveyard, they return back to my deck because of my Master Magician. I'll then End my turn with 2 face downs. Your move."

"What's that guys problem?" Al pulled up a chair and took a seat and looked around him, "Now, do we have any game plans or should I just play the air guitar? I'm serious guys, I'll do it. I'm a psycho!" Al pulled a twisted face and positionedhis hands at the ready. He hoped they knew he was joking, no matter how much of scrappy joke it was.

Akio found the whereabouts of Blood by listening to his own Earthbound Immortal. Unlike Blood, however, Akio wasn't as obedient. He still saw the Earthbound Immortal as a tool, and the darkness that radiated from it as his master. "Who are you?" Akio stared at Blood, wondering how the rest of the conversation would play out. He figured Blood must have either been a signer or a dark signer. If he wasn't, he'd have no significance. Akio remained silent, even his breathing seemed dead. He didn't like company, so he was hoping that this would be quick.

"Who am I?" Blood chuckled as he revealed his right arm, "You got to be kidding me, I'm a Dark SIgner just like you.Are you trying to make this kinda disppointing, or are you that cautious about me? Seriously, what are the other Earthbound Gods doing choosing all these people with problematic issues, asking me questions here and there. But at least you're cautious, it shows that how serious you are unlike those three goofers down inside the meeting room right now."

Having said that, Blood headed towards the direction of the center of B.A.D. Area. "Let's go, the others are waiting for us in the meeting room where the tragedy of the Zero Reverse took place, the first Enerdy Reactor..."

Akio raised an eyebrow. "Look, I know you feel like you have a position of power, but I want to get one thing straight between the two of us before I even think about helping you out." Akio stared at Blood, then gave a smile, "Nevermind." He followed Blood. There was one thing Akio needed in order to assert authority within the dark signer community, just like any community. He needed something that the others didn't. For now, he'd play off curiosity until it became something a bit more. Still, Akio hated the idea of teaming up with anyone in this war. He just wanted to know where and who the signers were so he could end it.

In the old Ener-D reactor, a complex hidden underground for a thousand years, yet was still intact, a familiar figure was walking around inside of the control room. Rei went up to the console and stroked a keyboard gingerly, imagining what it must have been like to work here in its glory days. She looked up at the roof of the giant room. "Itsu...I wish you were here." She asked...someone... "You would have known what to do. You understood humans, because that was what you did best. Me, I'm nothing more than a shell, a pretty little doll. I just..." She curled her hands into fists. "I just I don't understand why these humans have to be so stubborn!" She pounded her fist on the console. "Can't they understand that this war between the Signers and Dark Signers will prove nothing, that their world is headed down a path of destruction and despair once again?!?"" Her eyes started watering. "Can't they just stop fighting and work together to save this world?!?" She collapsed to her knees and doubled over, sobbing. "Why can't they see that history has a nasty habit of repeating itself?"

Rika gave the boy with the 'air guitar' a strange look. Wish granted, she hadn't expected the Dark Signers to be exactly sane (hell, she was a few cards short a deck herself) but she hadn't really expected them to be quite so....Odd?

"Do what you like," she shrugged, pulling up a seat and dropping lazily into it "Just don't try singing as well."

She reached into a pocket on her skirt and pulled out a bag of sweets, popping one into her mouth and chewing as she glanced about the room.

"You guys actually have a plan for world domination or whatever, right?" She asked, pausing only to swallow "Or is this just another overhyped clubhouse?"

"Yes there is a plan for domination, defeat the signers and destroy the world, unless that changed since the last time I was told it. This lot is fairly insane though but I guess that is part of being a dark signer, however unlike the rest of them, I am sane, if a little suicidal at times. I'm Renee by the way, the least enthusiastic of the dark signers." Renee then stood back again, not having said that much at once for a long time.

James stood watching the shore of the sea, wondering yet again why his sister Renee had commuted suicide and remembering the pain he had felt at her death, the pain that had nearly convinced him to give up on life and left him dueling without any purpose or any determination, with only his pride keeping him as the current 'King' of dueling. He turned around and left abruptly, too cold to stay there any longer, and rode off to his penthouse on hs duel runner, thinking about fate and destiny as he did so.

"Wait, let's back up for a second, what's this about 'no singing'?" Al pulled a slightly hurt face, "I'll have you know that I am a perfectly decent vocalist. Hell, I have a band. It's a good one as well... But that's a matter of opinion. And anyway, whoever your name is, why would you have a problem with my singing? But that can wait."

Al turned to Renee and gave a little thought before he spoke. Deciding it would be a bad idea to try and point out that she used suicidal and sane in the same sentence, he spoke directly to her, "You think that's a plan? That's an outline. A plan would be, oh I don't know, something along the lines of luring one of them to an abandoned warehouse then dropping a crate on their head. It's crude and violent and I have absolutely no idea would would happen if we just outright killed a Signer but it's more of a plan than yours. But let's put that aside until that redheaded prat comes back. What I really want to know is, what's everyone's problem with me? In these past few minutes I've had my singing insulted and been called insane. Just trying to lighten the mood, and with your suicidal tendencies I guess that should be a good thing..." Al just realised what he had said. In a much more apologetic tone, he said, "Should I be sorry for that?"

Rika let out a slight giggle at the Renee's reply.

"If it where that easy you'd have done it by now," she joked "You probably don't even know who they are. In any case..." She leaned back in her seat, propping both feet up on the table "I don't give a crap about these 'signers' of yours. You can do what you like with them but I've got other ideas."

On second thoughts, Rika thought as Al voiced his complaints about 'no singing' I could get used to this.

She sat back as Al went on with a rather lengthy comment, resulting in a rather pointless apology towards the apparently sane yet suicidal girl. Rika, however, couldn't really care less.

"You kidding?" She replied "Crates are way to quick. What you wanna do is nail them to the floor and if they don't cut their own legs of in five minutes then they get the crate. Even if they survive they're not gonna be much of a problem without any legs."

She let out another childish giggle, popping another sweet into her mouth.

"Anyway, name's Rika," she said, partly in response to Renee's greeting, partly towards Al's comment of 'whoever you are' "Don't tick me off and I won't cut you, we clear?"

"I'm Al so's you know. I'm also not a great fan of nailing people down. Gets kinda dull once you realise they can't move because you've nailed their hands and feet down. I, personally, prefer something overly complicated. Think, Mouse Trap and killing people. But that's all hypothetical since I haven't actually done any of that. Either way, what's with the cutting? Are you into that sort of thing? Does it," Al formed a small ball of the purple flame Dark Signers seemed so keen on and presented it to Kira, "You know, light your fire?" Al pulled a goofy smile and waited for a reaction.

"That's the point, dumbass," Rika replied, sucking on her sweet "They can't move unless they willingly mutilate themselves. It's watching them squirm that's the fun part."

She finished her current sweet and picked out another one, shaking the packet a bit to see how many she had left.

"Besides, that elaborate trap setup of yours will just take too long," she replied nonchalanttely "That and it'll most likely break or they'll escape. Keep it simple and you don't have any screw-ups."

She tossed another jelly-bean into her mouth.

"Oh, and as for the 'cutting' thing," she took a sour glance over at Al "If you're really that keen to find out I can give you your answer first hand, you just gotta ask."

She swallowed and let out another gleeful chuckle.

"Anyway, who's this 'redheaded prat' you mentioned?" She asked.

"Oh you know, whatshisface. Blood or whatever it was. But let's forget him, about the cutting. You never really answered." Al gave another smile and continued, "Is that how you start your business? A little cutting?" His smile grew slightly but a dull thud overhead took it away. Looking up, he saw the room that overlooked the one he was in and curiosity got the better of him. "We'll discuss your knife fetish later, Kira. At the moment I'm going to go and search for treasure."

With that odd end, he tore away and sped up the stairway that allowed access. At the mouth of the exit into the control room, Al saw a familiar sight. A sobbing Rei was doubled over by a console. "Hey," Al spoke softly so as not to startle her and walked over carefully, "Are you okay?"

Rei didn't respond to Al, but instead kept whispering very softly the name "Itsu" over and over again. However, it was rather weird how she had popped up here, when the Dark Signers were gathering. What if she was some sort of spy for the Signers? I mean, the gold-generating thing was solid proof she wasn't human, but the Signers had Bruno on their team, who turned out to be a powerful cyborg. Or maybe the Dark Signers could ransom her for the gift her organization is going to give to this world? Who knows what that gift might be? However, she also mentioned something about a temple at the end of a highway made of auroras. That could be a place close by, a place with power that the Dark Signers could use against the Signers.

Al walked closer and sat beside Rei. "You don't have to actually talk to me, you know. You can just nod or something. Damn, I sound like a terrible counsellor or something. And, to be fair, I doubt you'd warm up to me what with me being a Dark Signer and whatnot. Look, I honestly understand if you don't want to talk, you look quite a bit too upset to want to. But could you just answer me this, do you want me to leave?" Al propped himself up to get ready to leave.
