Something was up with this guy, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He had to ignore it and start his turn. "My turn then." He drew his card and thought out his plan carefully. [i]"This could work."[/i] "I'll start by activating the Field Spell Magnetic Carrier!" As he placed the field spell, the area turned into a giant ship. Small sprites surrounded by electricity pushed metal objects into the carrier, which stuck onto it instantly. Floral Android looked at Dorian and he gave a nod. "Time for it. I activate my face down card, Polymerization! I'll fuse Floral Android from my field and Celestial Gearton from my hand!" An angel-like machine appeared onto the field. It carried a sword as feathers flew around the field. Floral Android suddenly broke apart, as did Celestial Gearton. The parts started to form together to suddenly make a new monster. "In order to summon Saber Gearton!" The new machine was taller than Celestial Gearton. Its color scheme was bright and it sported two swords with four missile capsules on the hilt. Giant gusts of wind surrounded him. "Now when he is Fusion Summoned, I get to destroy 1 Spell card. And I choose your Blood Absorption." A giant missle sprang out from one of the swords and whizzed past Blood Sorceress and fully blew it up. "Now Gearton attack Blood Sorceress." Saber Gearton launched towards Blood Sorceress and gave a quick cut to take her down. "I'll end my turn." Saber Gearton was about to break apart since he can't stay on the field for more than one turn. "Hold it Gearton. I pay 800 Life Points to keep him onto the field." The sprites pushed the robot onto the carrier where it got stuck onto it. If it weren't for my New Recrute, my field would of been wide open. But now it's my turn, Draw[/color]!" Drawing his new card, Ivan looks at his hand for a new strategy. A small smile appeared on his face as he said, "[color="#0000FF"]Alright then, First I'm going to summon my Ancient Sorcerer Nicole The Dragon Trainer in face up attack mode on my field[/color]." Another girl like monster appeared with dragons hovering all around her. Ivan continued, "[color="#0000FF"]When this monster comes into play, she gains 3 spell counters in which I can remove to special summon monsters from my deck, either a Lv 4 or lower Spellcaster or a Lv 6 or lower Dragon. I'll remove one to Special summon another Spellcaster, I summon Ancient Sorcerer Meeth the Magical Knight in attack mode[/color]!" A girl like warrior with a magical sword appeared ready to fight. "[color="#0000FF"]Once she is summon, she gains 2 Spell counters along with 500 atk and def for each counter[/color]." Looking back at his hand, Ivan continues "[color="#0000FF"]I'll reactivate the field spell Chaos Circle! Now by activating a spell card, I can destroy a card on your side of the field because of my knights effect and she gains another Spell counter, I destroy your Cyber Dragon[/color]!" His magical Knight removed a gem from her Sword and threw it at the target monster, once it touched it, the monster exploded. "[color="#0000FF"]I now move to attack! My Knight will take on your other machine and my dragon trainer will attack you directly[/color]!" "When you declare an attack I can remove from play your attacking monster," he continued with his counter. "So say good bye to your Magical Knight," he said as a vortex came and claimed the Magical Knight and removed the card from the game, "And since your monster is removed from play you I wont take damage thanks to it's ability." Having to remove his monster, he continues to say, "[color="#0000FF"]You not only stopped one of my favorite monsters, but stopped her effect on top of that. I'm impressed. But now is not the time for me to let up! Lets continue, I'll move into my second main phase and activate the effect of my field spell, I discard one card from my hand and gain 2 mage tokens in defense mode once more. Now I place 2 cards face down, sacrifice a token and I'll pass the turn along to you[/color]." But that's not what's important Rei," Albus drank most of the bottle before continuing, "Making gold? What's up with that? You creating or pulling off some alchemy? You're totally messing up the laws of nature and whatnot." Finishing the bottle, Al gave Rei an appraising look and started talking again, "Look, ignore that question, I don't want to know nor do I care. What I do want to know, however, is where you're from. [color=#FF1493]"Not alchemy. Matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed. I am simply changing the location of this gold bar from a pocket dimension filled with enough gold bars to make a golden Earth to a point in space and time right above my hand. It's rather simple if you have enough energy to create a controlled, localized spatial distortion for a gold bar to travel between the two points. I think if you gave the Large Hadron Collider, you know, from the early 21st Century, enough energy to power every developed nation from the same time period for a month, you might be able to replicate what I have done several times now."[/color] She paused to let that fact sink in. "You see, although I have nothing to defend my cauldron, my life points - well some of them - are safe." Kurai said, tapping a trap card on his duel disk. "I wouldn't say that attack was a total success if I were you. My Blood Oath Sacrifice makes sure of that." Kurai said, as a card on the field lifted itself up and a man covered in blood appeared out of it. Above him was a large ceremonial blade without a hilt. "Now, by paying 1000 life points, the attack is negated and you lose life points equal to half the damage I would have taken." Kurai explained, as the blade lowered it's self and stabbed the man. The scream of pain from the man was echoed as a grunt from Kurai. He isn't immortal y'now. Anyway, the body of the man vanished from its' previous spot and reappeared infront of Blood Sorceress, taking the attack for her and saving her. Kurai smiled again, though painfully. "And now..." The sentence didn't need finishing, as the body of the man exploded, causing Gearton to tumble backwards into Dorian, inflicting 825 points of Damage. Kurai smiled as he heard the words 'your turn'. He drew his card, and grinned again, even more wildly now. "I think I just beat you. I think at any rate." Kurai said, flicking the card he'd just drawn into the spot that Blood Absorbtion had been in. "Blood Oath Awakening: Twlight." Kurai stated, the area turning dark and a moon appearing above them. "Now, with the sacrifice of my Blood Mistress and My Blood Sorceress, I can summon this!" Kurai shouted, the named monsters disappearing and floating upwards to the moon. As they 'entered' the moon, it turned blood red. "Awaken in the Dark shadows. Take this Sacrifices to empower yourself futher. Ritual Summon, Twilight Blood Lord!" Kurai cried, slamming the card down onto the table. From a pit that had appeared on the field arose a boy with bright white hair and a large blade down his back. "With the effect of his Ritual card, I can add it to my deck and inflict 300 points of damage to you." With that, a large beam of light rammed into Dorian. "Now Twilight Blood Lord's turn. With his effect, all spell and Trap cards on the field are destroyed, and you lose 100 Life points for each card destroyed. I count four, three on your side, one on mine, which mean 400 life points." Kurai said, as the Mystical Space Typhoon on his side of the field was sent to the grave. "However, with that I cant attack with him this turn, and because Blood Mistress cant possibly hold her own against Saber Gearton, I'll leave her in Defence Position, and lay a single face down. Now, because I'm out of cards for the moment, I guess I'll leave you with the little resources you have." Kurai said, shrugging. There's a difference between creating and moving and, to be honest, if you're using enough energy to power that much, you're clearly not using it right. There are much more productive things to do. Like, for example, fighting terrrorists or something. It seems kind of pathetic if all you're doing with your dimension-tearing abilities is paying waitresses with solid gold bars. Just a suggestion." After finishing, he gave the bartender a gesture and caught another bottle that was thrown at him soon after. Al finished the second bottle and, after giving his head a little shake, continued, "What do you know about them? To be honest, I'm somewhat interested in what they're meant to be up to. You can get him Big Brother Ivan[/color]!" "[color="#0000FF"]Alright then, I activate one of my face downs, Shift! This trap cards allows me to change your attack to another monster I control and I change it to my Dragon Trainer[/color]." The Opponents monsters attack changed course heading straight for Ivan's other monster. "[color="#0000FF"]But I'm not finished yet, I activate my second Trap card, Energy Barrier! This card cancels an attack that targets a monster I have with Spell counters on it[/color]." A large ring like barrier stood in the way of Cyber End Dragons attack and absorbed it. Then the ring floated above Ivan and shards of light sprinkled over him as he explained, "[color="#0000FF"]This trap card not only stops your attack but I gain life points equal to your monsters attack points[/color]." Drawing 2 more cards from his deck Ivan continues, "[color="#0000FF"]I think it's time to show you my decks key monster. First off, I activate the effect of my Dragon Trainer to Special Summon my Tuner monster Level Altener[/color]!" A priestess appeared with 2 Star like orbs circling around her. Ivan continued, "[color="#0000FF"]Once she enters the field, she gains 2 Spell counters. Then I can remove those counters to increase a monsters level by the amount I remove. So in short, I remove her 2 counters to make her a level 4 monster and tune her with my Dragon trainer[/color]!" As the Priestess started to merge with the Dragon Trainer, Ivan's arm felt kind of weird. Then a flash exploded as the merging completed reveling a new monster. Ivan shouted out, "[color="#0000FF"]Meet my trusted partner, Ancient Sorcerer Dragon[/color]!" The Dragon roared loudly as it's energy wings expanded, "[color="#0000FF"]My dragon comes into play with 5 Spell counters and with it 500 attack and defense for each counter. for a grand total of 3000 attack points[/color]." Going back to his hand, he says, "[color="#0000FF"]Now I activate the Spell card, Unstable Aura! Now my dragon has even more fire power than before! I now attack your Cyber Dragon Zwei! Al set his bottle down on the table and looked Rei straight in the face, "But, that's beside the point. What part are you going to play in this 'battle'? Do you have any bets placed on the winner you'd like to cash in? Figuratively speaking of course, you seem to have plenty of funds available. I personally, couldn't care how this goes. I think I'm making that blatantly obvious with my complete lack of publicity along with the fact that I have a real social life rather than actively seeking out some dragon obsessed morons. Okay, that may have been a little unwarranted aggression towards them but the point still stands. Oh, and I just realised, "among other things"? What are you saying? I don't think I smell that bad. Sure my breath's probably made up mostly of spirits at this point but it's not that bad." Thinking over what he just said, Al realised that he hadn't actually made a real point. Instead, he had asked a question then gone off on a tangent. As he sat still and silent, he hoped those last few sentences would be ignored and that Rei would just tell him what stakes she had in all this. You're basically saying that you're a pawn and you're out to find out if we don't mind your 'corporation' butting in and considering the context, it makes your 'corporation' extremely stupid and flawed when it comes to basic common sense and economics, which makes it even more awkward considering your comments on gold bullions earlier. Considering what has happened in the past, I can draw my own conclusions *cough*Yliaster*cough*. Considering your earlier explanation on Dark Signers as well, you're implying that your 'corporation' wishes to control the world. I personally, in the given context, would help the Signers. They don't exactly seem to want to be on the 'control the world' end of the spectrum which would result in an easier take-over, especially when you consider the Earthbound Immortals that the Dark Signers aren't using. I mean, why help the side you'll get the heaviest opposition from afterwards? It's a stupid 'business' move. Now, I'll be honest, I'm not really interested in this 'turf war' so I'll do what I want. What I want is totally up for debate. However, I've spoken for too long. Put simply, I'd help the Signers if I were you. Largest chance of a takeover afterwards is the side you'll want to be on." Al ended in a very matter-of-fact tone. He knew he wasn't exactly playing for his team, but he never really cared. As far as he was concerned, the Signers didn't exist. Getting up to leave, Al gave a wave to the bartender then headed out the door. The cool breeze was a welcome change. A sharp crack of pain ran through La's arm and, looking at it, he was slightly perturbed to see the twisted image of a tree glowing dully. Feeling a sense of attraction to the B.A.D area and a soft otherworldly voice in his head. Noting that it was probably because of some Dark Signer stuff, he also acknowledged that he didn't exactly have anything better to do. Climbing on to his Duel Runner, a totally not stolen or modified Securities Runner, he set off. Upon arriving, he engulfed himself in purple flame. As it died away, his eyes had become black and the traditional Dark Signer robes had appeared. Someone other than he and one the voice belonged to was there. man slightly younger than Al was also there and asking for Signer dragons upon their defeat. "You're asking for a little much aren't you? Besides, isn't the loser of a Signer versus a Dark Signer Duel supposed to fade away? How would you get their cards in the first place?" Anyway, there have never been a finished signer vs dark signer battle where the signer has lost so we don't know if they fade away to dust as well or not if they lose. When are we attacking anyway, cause the sooner we get this over with, the sooner I can fade away and die properly." "But you must not think that's all I have planed," he added, "Next I'll remove from play all light attribute machine type monsters on the field and in my graveyard to special summon Cyber Eltanin." "My monster gains 500 points for each monster removed from play when it's summoned," Aiden said smiling, "And I count six."
