Tokyo Duel
(OOC: For those who have Dark Signers and Signers, please wait to post your Dark Signer character. If you only have a Dark Signer, then feel free to post whenever. Just don't challenge a Signer or began a Shadow Duel right off the bat.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Alright!" Arashi said, lowering his duel disk. "I win! Thanks for the duel, uh...what's your name?" A boy, probably the same age as Arashi said nothing. Instead, he just walked away. "I'll be here tomorrow!" Arashi shouted at the boy. "What's his problem?" Arashi began to head home. It was getting a little late. Seven in the evening. He headed back to his apartment. "Sheesh...everytime I walk in here it just gets smaller and smaller," Arashi thought. It certainly seemed that way. EVERYTHING was a mess. Papers upon papers laid upon eachother like stacked cups. Books were scattered around the floor, despite there was a book case. "Yeah...I'll clean this up later." With that, Arashi walked back outside, regretting his choice to head home. Of course, he armed himself with his duel disk, just waiting to get in a duel...again. TotalObelisk
Aiya heaved a sigh as she wandered down the street, taking her phone out every five minutes to check her inbox and looking slightly more depressed each time she saw it was empty. She’d called Rika at least five times, texted her about seven and she still hadn’t received a reply. Rika hadn’t been at school today either, nor was she at the arcade when Aiya went to look for her. “This isn’t like her,” she muttered out loud “She’d been that way ever since she had that accident. But she’s fine now, so what’s wrong?” She decided to try and distract herself and turned a corner, walking into the card shop on the way back to her house. She spent a good ten minutes browsing the shelves but barely paid any attention to them as her thoughts kept going back to Rika. “Was it something I did?” She wondered “Oh man, I seriously hope not.” She shook herself mentally, reasoning that there was no way Rika could be mad at her for whatever reason; she may be a bit of a klutz but Rika wasn’t the sort of person to overreact like that. “Maybe she’s just depressed or something,” Aiya tried to reassure herself. Premier Alexander Romanov
Out at sea, on an overgrown island where the Kaiba Corporation used to manufacture weapons, things seemed calm until a beam of energy erupted out of the center of the island. The area around the island trembled and shook as the uninhabited island slowly collapsed into the ocean, a strange structure erupting out of the ground in its place. The giant temple-like complex looked like a pyramid, but it was made out of massive metal beams and was a mile on either side. The beam in the center of the structure continued to fire straight up, ending several hundred miles above the Earth's surface. Every few seconds, a pulse would travel down the beam to the center of the structure. However, there was no way for the enormous building to be accessed until a series of pylons burst from the ocean and formed a bridge made of bluish-green energy, which connected the huge structure to the island that, centuries ago, used to be "Satellite". Magnet Soldier
"YAAAAWN. Twilight Blood Lord, Moons Blood Katana Combo!" Life Points ZERO. Winner, KURAI. Simulation.....Complete. "I win again. Gotta get some more decks for this program." Kurai said, yawning again as he shut down the Simulation Program. He folded his dueldisk to it's sleep setting, it compacting itself into a small gauntlet on his wrist. Kurai walked over to the door of the training room, flicking the light switch on his way out. As he was exiting he bumped into a large tanned man with a large scar across his bare chest. "Get a top Jim. It's un-hygenic." Kurai said to the Maintenance guy, who'd come to repair the broken Deck downloader. "It better be fixed by tomorrow!" Kurai called over his shoulder. "Y-yes Sir." Jim stammered in Reply. To anyone who'd witnessed this, it would have seemed very strange. A blind teenager, bossing a large, battle-worn man, and scaring him without realising. Of course, not many people who actually knew who Kurai was would be surprised, but they were few and far between. Kurai sighed as he lefted the building, grabbing his backpack one the way out. He flicked a card out of his pocket and started twisting it between his fingers, imagining the colours and shapes on the card. He couldn't. After all, he didn't know what a colour really was, or what a shape really looked like. He could imagine what a shape might look like, but he would never be able to really see them. He sighed as his mood decreased. It increased slightly when he heard the satifising cry of "I Win!" from a duel nearby, and smiled as the loser walked away, obviously in a foul mood. Kurai decided he'd act normal for today, and walked up to the winner. "Nice duel. From what I heard you're quite good. That other guy seemed really down about it." Kurai said, walking over to Arashi. "I'm Kurai." He said, outstretching his arm. "You are?" Kurai asked, 'looking' at Arashi, the piece of cloth covering his eyes.

The True Ace Attorney
Pushing open the cellar doors inside a high-end bar, Albus and two other boys around the same age climbed out and headed towards a stage. Climbing up and grabbing a guitar, Al gave the string a few plucks and when he was satisfied took hold of the microphone and, after clearing his throat, announced clearly, "Hey, I'm Albus Eckhart, but you guys can call me Aleck. We here are the Smart Alecks and we're here to give your evening a little more music." As the other two began starting up their first song of the evening, Al set his hand in position and cleared his throat again. While the band played, Al kept his eye out for anything of interest. Tonight was going to be a long one.
Premier Alexander Romanov
In the back corner of the bar sat a very strange-looking woman, appearing to be about 20. She had maroon hair, golden eyes behind glasses, and a peculiar black bodysuit with pink circuitry. She also had matching boots and gloves. Even more interesting was the fact that she had the symbol for Infinity tattooed on her back. A waitress came over to the woman. "Anything for you, this evening?" "Yes. I would like some green tea with honey and mint." The waitress's eyebrow twitched. "Ma'am, this is a bar. We do not have green tea." The woman grinned and pushed up her glasses. She reached her hand out as if to give the waitress some money, but a bar of gold materialized in the astonished waitress' hands. She tried to speak up, but the same hand that created the gold reached up and pushed a finger to her lips. "That is not an illusion." She whispered. "That is a 1kg 24-carat bar of gold bullion. If you promise to be quiet and not tell anyone, I will give you another. You will be rewarded with a third upon the delivery of my tea within the next 10 minutes. Nod if you understand." The waitress nodded. "Now, nod if you promise to not tell anyone." The waitress nodded a second time, and another bar appeared in her hand as the odd woman's finger left the waitress's lips. "Now, my tea, if you would be so kind." The shellshocked waitress quickly departed to fetch the woman her tea. The woman resumed watching the Smart Alecks play, especially since they were the only ones who could have seen the event. She hoped they would continue playing and not create a scene. Her mission was too critical for such a thing to occur.
The True Ace Attorney
Partway through the chorus of one of their slower songs, Al noticed a rather oddly dressed woman. Though, to be fair, it was only odd given the setting. Some of the other clubs he'd played in had people dressed like her most of the time, but this was place was more... Refined. Her outfit just didn't, well, fit. Worse still, the woman gave a waitress what appeared to be a gold bar. This wasn't what could ever be considered normal. Giving a little hand wave to his band-mates, he skipped over a couple of verses and headed straight into the outro. After they finished and they got a dull amount of applause, Al gave the mic a coupe of taps and said, "We're gonna take a few minutes break and we'll be right back." As his band-mates went to their own table, Al told them he was going to talk to someone else and, as they gave him some acknowledgement, Al headed over to the barman. After getting "the usual", he took his bottle and headed over to the woman in the corner. "I saw that, you know, with the gold. D'you mind if I sit down?" he asked, but didn't wait, and sat down beside the woman, though he took a large gulp of his bottle first. "What's with the gold, anyway? I mean, it's not like she can really do anything with it. You can't really trade gold blocks for cash. Anyway, you got a name? Oh, rum?" Al offered his bottle to the woman, giving it a little swirl. Premier Alexander Romanov
The woman smiled at Albus as the waitress returned with a porcelain cup of green tea. The woman nodded to the waitress and made a motion like she was pulling the bar of gold out of a pocket, but Albus could see what was really going on, and the bar had just materialized in her hand. One moment, her hand was empty, but the next, gold bullion. The waitress accepted the bar and ran off, at which point the woman turned back to Albus. "I am Rei Tousen, and, as you can see, I am not from around here. But your comment shows you how little you know about economics. Money is based, or at least it is supposed to be based, on how much weight in precious metals you put behind it. In my opinion, a body that produces money that cannot give you an amount of bullion equal to the legal tender you want to exchange, and vice-versa, is economically flawed."
King of Nothing
Akio stared across the baren landscape that would serve as his new dueling ground. He smiled at an abandoned factory. It used to be an oil company, then it became an electric power plant, then a clothing outlet. After a while, it just shut down as it was nowhere near any new energy source. He knew a lot about the building as the design plan and history of the company that owned it were both inside. "Well, then, they should be here shortly." He walked inside of the building and grabbed two things. His deck, and his disk. Then he walked out. From behind him he saw some police officers pulling in. One yelled in a megaphone. It bugged Akio that he couldn't duel them but, for some odd reason, he felt like he wasn't supposed to. Still, the opportunity presented itself rather bluntly. He turned around when the officer started to yell at him. "If you have any weapons, dispose of them now!" The man said. "Hands in the air, no funny business!" Akio sighed and stared right in the officer. "I can't get rid of the weapons I have, but I can easily get rid of you!" He smiled as he put his deck in his duel disk. "Shall we begin?" The officer was scared and began walking backwards, but he stopped when Akio began to stare at the other officers. "Pitty, there aren't enough sacrifices to make this interesting. Well a normal duel should be fine anyways. If you win, I'll plead guilty to whatever I'm charged with. But if I win, I get your car. Deal?" The officer laughed and put on his duel disk. "You'll be sorry for this!" -5 minutes later- "And now I'll finish this off! Go, Slate Warrior, direct attack!" A blue humanoid creature with a brown chestplate and a staff charged the officer. In one strike, the officers lifepoints fell to zero. "That's a shame. Well, give me your keys." Akio held out his hand, but the officer just laughed. He pulled out a gun and pointed it at Akio. "Hey now, lower your arms. I won fair and square." Again Akio looked at the officer's friends. The officer pulled the trigger, but the shot missed. Akio slowly walked to the officer. "I'm afraid that your little gun won't work against me. You see, I'm already dead." The officer stared upwards with fear painted on his face. Akio walked passed the head officer and towards one of the lackeys. He grabbed the keys from the lackey's pocket and headed towards the car. "Thanks for the car, Butch." Akio turned on the car and drove straight towards the head officer. The officer looked at him like a deer in headlights. It was the mistake that ended the officer's life. The other police men looked crushed as they stared at their leader. Akio just smiled, he had no idea what happened after that. Serves him right.
Tokyo Duel
Realizing that he wasn't going to find any opponent's Arashi headed back to his home. "Dang it...," Arashi thought. He turned on his television to the news. "In further news, a local security has been sentenced to a mental instution. ♫♪GoldenBoy♪♫
It was dark outside and Aiden knew he should be heading home soon. "Well if you don't mind I'll be ending this duel," he said to his opponent. His standard Duel Disk shined in the moon light. He looked at his hand as knowing his victory was assured. "I activate Power Bond," he said, "Fusing my two Proto-Cyber Dragons on the field with the Cyber Dragon in my hand." "Now come forth my mighty beast," he continued quite bored with his opponent, "Cyber End Dragon!" His Dragon had a lot of mechanical parts and its extreme power seemed to form electric sparks around it and its master. "Now finish this with Eternal Evolution Burst!" Aiden commanded. His dragon's three heads veered back and shot out three beams of white energy at his opponents monster. Life Points > 0 Aiden's Life Points > 3700 "Thanks come back if you want another butt kicking," he chided his unnamed opponent. He began to walk home when he saw his favorite band playing at a high end restaurant. He walked up towards the window to see his favorite musician Albus talking with some stranger. "Weird," he said to himself catching the word "Economy" from that conversation. After almost half a hour walking home he walked in his front door. His mother asleep on the couch after a long day of work he decided to just retire to his room and work on his deck.
TotalObelisk
Aiya decided she's wasted enough time, and this wasn't doing anything to help her forget her problems. In any case, it looked like the shop was closing now anyway so she left, stepping outside and realizing with a start that it had already gotten dark. "Oh crap," she said aloud "Why did I have to spend so long in there?" She bit her lip and glanced down the street. Although it was lit by streetlamps it still looked foreboading to her, and not just because of the late hour. Okay, calm down, she told herself as she began walking home It's only a couple of blocks, it won't take long. She sped up, walking slightly faster than usual and kept looking all around her just in case. A sudden crash made her jump and she whirled about to see a cat running out of an alleyway, giving her a brief stare before it ran across the road. Aiya breathed a sigh of relief and tried to calm herself down as she resumed walking.
galesonic
Dorian was in his apartment, well not really. More like a bungalo. The part of New Domino City was kinda rundown. And more and more groups of duelist show up out of thin air. Just recently, a group known as The Mechanics, a group that duels with Machine-Type monsters showed up in the area. Dorian had a run-in with the group and lost miserably. He was now working on his deck, starting since he woke up first thing. Cards were scattered all over the floor. After hours of work, he finally got his deck ready. "Okay. I think I got it. Okay this is just a prototype. I may need more work into this, but I need to test it." he said to himself as he strected and looked out the window. "Its already dark? There goes my chance of dueling." He said as he relized something. "There are still underground duels in this area. I could try those." he then took his Duel Disk, which oddly looked like an exact copy of the ones used in Battle City. As he walked out, he slipped on a card and fell face first on the floor. "Ow. Gotta clean my room when I get back." he said as he got up and walked out the door to find some duelists.
Magnet Soldier
((That's very nice Arashi, Ignoring my character like that. Just because he's blind. )) Kurai extended his arm, and left it there for several moments. When he heard the boy brush past him, he sighed. "I guess he's just another one of 'them', discriminating for differences." Kurai muttered, turning around and shouting at the boy. "Nice to meet you too! Jerk." He added, quieter. He sighed and walked over to the parked they'd been having their duel in, feeling the remaining duel energy emitted from the duel. Perks of being blind No.1, weird powers. Kurai sighed as the images from the duel relayed themselves in his head. The animosity, the ferocity, the energy itself. It wasn't exactly an even duel, the winner was obvious from the start, but he could feel he still tryed a lot, and that it had been entertaining none the less. He smiled to himself as the images flooded away, lost forever, and turned to walk out of the dueling field. He decided he'd walk home...or atleast, the apartment he now called home. He sighed before starting off on the long hike, through the suburbs of Neo Domino City, towards his 'Home'. He heard a door close behind him, and the clink of a DuelDisk, as a duelist emerged from his home towards some underground duels. From the sound of the Dueldisk, Kurai could tell it was old, maybe even Battle City old...antiques like that still existed, if rare, but was unsure. In this part of town, he would have been sure someone would have sold it, as they were worth a lot. He touched his condensed dueldisk arm-thing, activating it and causing it to jump out into a full blown dueldisk, hoping he'd get challenged. The last time he'd duelled a human, one worth dueling, was longer than he could remember, and he hoped this guy could break that.
galesonic
Dorian walked out onto the street and notice a guy in front of him. He could obviously saw that there was a cloth in front of his face. He had two things going through his head: 1. The guy was using that as a costume. 2. the guy was a 'psychic'. He knew that the chance of him being a psychic was fairly low. He noticed the guy had an activated Duel Disk. "So, you want to face me, huh?" He said as he activated his Duel Disk. "Alright then. I accept your challenge." as his Duel Disk activated, he started to feel uneasy about his opponent. "If he is a psychic, I might be done for, consider my prototype. I got to stand my ground from beginning to end." he thought to himself as the Duel commenced. Dorian: 8000 Kurai: 8000
Spell Master
As an alarm clock started to go off, Ivan struggled to get out of bed but managed to make himself get up and get dressed. Looking back at the clock, he says, "Oh on! I'm going to be late! Better take the my runner for this one." Running out of his apartment, Ivan rushes down to the parking garage and jumps on his duel runner and fires it up. "Alright! Ready to go!" While going across New Domino City, many of the people waved their hands saying hello to him. Once across town, he stops in front of 4 kids, none older than 12, and says, "Sorry I'm late guys! Where you waiting long?" One of the kids was a girl and she smiled and answered, "you know it's bad manners to be late Big Brother Ivan! But well forgive you this time. Blood Yuchi
(3 months ago~) In a vast bedroom, a red hair duelist was lying on his bed with many thoughts running in his mind. When he gained the title of a Champion in the Pro league, he had been wondering what was there left for him to achieve. On his desk were piles and piles of documentation about the group that can summon the legendary Crimson Dragon, the Signers. Since he was young, he was inspired in becoming a great duelist just like them; however till now nothing much has change about him. He drew out his trusted card, Bloodriver Dragon, whose abilities could match up to the abilities of those legendary Signer Dragons. It had brought him many victories and carved him the path to become the Champion. “I don’t get it. Why am I still not selected as a legendary Signer? I have done so much research on them; become a strong duelist with a card whose ability is on par with any Signer Dragons. But still why didn’t I received the legendary mark which proves that I’m the chosen one?”he shouted as he kicked up a big fuss and walked towards the window with the only thoughts about becoming a Signer. “I see you have a strong desire inside you” The young duelist heard the strange voice and was shocked for a moment there. “You might be the one who I have been searching for all this while” This time, the young duelist was attentive to what it said. “Who are you? What do you want from me?” “You want to become a Signer that badly don’t you? I can grant your wish, as long as you follow what I say. Young duelist what is your name?” “My name,” said the young duelist “is Blood Crimson” (3 months later~ Now) A man in black coat with white outline markings on it was travelling down into the deepest part of B.A.D. Area. Blood still has his red-coloured hair, but with black sclera eyes and three claw like markings down his right eye. He drew out his “Bloodriver Dragon” from his deck, looking at it with disgust. The suicide case of the young duelist three months ago shocked everyone in New Domino City, but to Blood he was glad that he did it and gain his new powers. He set up a base deep inside the B.A. D. Area, waiting and searching for those "legendary Signers" just like him. The white colour frame starts to burn in a strange purple flame, slowly changing it into a black colour frame card. “I am Blood Crimson, a Dark Signer. Those who are like me come join me and open the gates of the Netherworld!”
King of Nothing
((OOC: Guess I'll tell my story too)) When Akio heard the term 'dark signer', he remembered what gave him the power he held within. It was in a concentration camp that Akio had previously lost his life. There were two sides, a side of those who died and a side of those who faught to the death. Akio was in the side that was supposed to fight to the death. The camp was created to feed the shadows as an altar so that its leader could become a dark signer. However, Akio won every duel and the leader's rage began to increase. Eventually the leader had decided to duel Akio himself, and won on the first turn by bringing out Exodia in a specialized "gusta" deck. After Akio lost, a bullet was shot at him, grazing his shoulder. He began to bleed a little, as more and more bullets came at him, each one grazing him. Then Akio realized something, the bullets had hit, but somehow he managed to survive. A voice appeared in his head, "Every pawn needs a king. If I can use you, if I can become your king, you will ressurect into a much stronger piece. But first, you must show a display of trust, and stop holding on to your will. Let my will replace yours, remove your freedom and replace it with life! You are the signer of the cosmos, the signer of knowledge, and to gain the full power you have to remove your knowledge and replace it with mine!" Needless to say, Akio agreed without any hesitation. He got rid of his will to survive, he removed his primitive instinct, and allowed the voice to take control. He was soon shot, and killed. However, Akio was ressurected as a dark signer, and the leader's life fell to feed the flames that he himself had created. Akio had defeated the leader in a shadow duel using a new Earthbound he had obtained. "Remove the cosmos, leave nothing in the abyss we call life! Go, my Earthbound, and remove his free will! Replace his knowledge with your own!" After the shadow duel, the leader's soul was removed and he became nothing more then a slave. Akio had him commit suicide to feed his curiosity at the extent of the control he had. He smiled as the leader's body fell. --------- Akio decided it was best to do what the voice instructed him to do. He headed towards the voice, and spoke with his own. "I am Akio Nyuhara, the Dark Signer of the Cosmos. You have my support." He saw the man known as Blood Crimson. "On one condition." He looked up, "When I beat a signer, I want their dragon." ♫♪GoldenBoy♪♫
Aiden eyes opened with a start and he then grabbed his right arm in pain. He looked down on his bare skin and saw a red tattoo glowing on his skin. What the...? he thought to himself. He ran to his bathroom and tried everything to make the mark go away. He washed it vigorously he even used soap!! He soon gave up and walked into his room. "At least the shining stopped," he said unenthusiastically. He tried to hide the mark. He thought it kind of resembled a tail, but he just ended up letting the matter go until later. He wasn't planning on telling his mom either because she wouldn't believe it just appeared and he would be interrogated to no end by her. He walked into the living room after his normal shower and dressing routine. He tied his read head band around his head and went into the kitchen to eat some breakfast. He ate some cereal and was wondering where his mom was. She never leaves for work this early Aiden thought. He didn't mind it he liked the quietness for once. It let him think about the duel last night. "That guy was really weird," he thought aloud. When he finished his breakfast, he walked into the living room again and picked up his standard duel disk which had a place for his removed from play cards and had blue trim instead of the normal red-orange. He looked at his cards and noticed a card that hadn't been in his Extra Deck yesterday. I must've added last night he thought. He walked out after grabbing his bag and was walking towards nowhere for a while; he then noticed a guy about his age or older talking with some kids. He then heard the stranger ask who wants to duel him first. He walked up to the small group and asked "How about me?" He quickly added "The names Aiden Shuuryou, your's?" He then activated his duelist hoping the stranger would say yes.

♫♪GoldenBoy♪♫
"Nice move," Aiden complemented, "But sadly not good in enough!" Aiden drew his sixth card from his deck. He began to survey his hand Nice! he thought. "I activate the Special Ability of my Cyber Dragon in my hand," he stated, "Which allows me to Special Summon it in Attack Position as long as you have 1 or more monster on the field and I have none." He placed a card on his duel disk and then came a dragon out of a crack of lightning. This wasn't a Dragon but a very life like machine which more resembled a snake than a dragon. "Now I activate Giant Trunade," he continued his turn, "Which returns all Spell and Traps on the field back to the owners hand." When Aiden placed the card on the field of play all of the face-downs Ivan had placed on the field and his field spell flew in to a tornado and back into their owner's hand. "Now I'll Normal Summon my Cyber Dragon Zwei," he said, "I'll finish things off by attacking your Ancient Sorcerer New Recruit with Cyber Dragon and your Mage Token with Cyber Dragon Zwei." "Go Evolution Burst and Evolved Second Burst," he said while both dragons reared there head back and fired to beams of white lightning at his opponent's two monsters. A large explosion ensued but his feeble spell caster was still on the field. "My Dragon Zwei gains a power boost when it battles a monster and thats a smacking 300 points. "Well it looks like your sorcerer cant be destroyed by battle," Aiden complemented his opponent for using a move he didn't know. "I place one card face-down your move," Aiden finished his move with a smile already in the lead. Magnet Soldier
Kurai smiled as the boy shouted after him. He lifted his head, still facing forwards. "You know, I'm actually surprised that you challenged me. Normally people dont expect a Blind person to be a good duelist." Kurai said, turning to face the boy. "Oh, and if you thought I was psychic or something, and not blind, then here's proof." Kurai said, lifting his bandana to show totally blank eye's, with a thin black circle outlining where his pupil should be. However, it was hard to notice this line as it was moving around so rapidly, it seemed to disappear entirely. He smiled, as he knew the boy probably wasn't expecting the sight, although Kurai didn't know exactly what it looked like anyway. "So, still want to duel me? Fine." Kurai said, resisting a smile. "It'll be good to do a little excercise." "Seen as though you haven't drawn, I'll go first." Kurai stated, drawing five cards from his deck and then another a few seconds afterwards. Without looking at his cards, he grabbed two and set them in the Spell & Trap card zones. "I'll play two face downs." He said, before grabbing another card from his hands, again without looking. "That's a very old dueldisk, or atleast, it sounds like an Old one." Kurai stated, placing his card on his DuelDisk. "I'll set this monster. Your turn." Kurai said, smiling. "Lets see what ya got." galesonic
Dorian was surprised that his opponent was blind. He probably can tell what his cards is by feeling them. Either way he still thought he would lose to this guy, but give it his best. "Your very perceptive. It is an old Duel Disk and it isn't at the same time. This is an exact replica of the Battle City Duel Disks. Okay. My turn!" he took his five cards and drew his sixth. "I'll start by placing 2 face downs and summoning Floral Android in Attack Position!" Out of the ground stood a human-sized robot. It had in its hand a small bouquet of flowers, hence its name. It stood in a very arrogant-like pose as he held the flowers like a sword. "I'll end my turn there." Magnet Soldier
"Ahh. Now it makes sense. If it was an original Battle City DuelDisk, I'm sure you would have sold it by now. A replica though...worthless." Kurai said, grinning. He placed his hand on his deck, about to draw his next card, while somehow getting the knowledge of the opponents side of the field(No, he cannot see your facedowns. I'll explain the real reason at the bottom.) He drew his next card and flipped it straight onto the field. "I'll activate Blood Absorbtion, which is a Continuous spell card that Halves life point damage to me that is not inflicted through battle." Kurai explained, as a large pot full to the brim with blood appeared next to him. "Now I'll flip my face down Monster face up, to reveal to marvelous Blood mistress!" Kurai Exclaimed, as he flipped the monster face up to reveal a beautiful woman with a sword on her waist. "And because of her effect, we each take 1000 points of Damage." Kurai smiled while wincing at the small amount of pain he felt from the attack. Dorian was right, partially. Kurai was sort of Psychic, but in a different way. One thing Dorian couldn't miss was the fact that as they each took the damage, the small templar-cross shaped scar under his eye glowed slightly. Anyway, as Kurai smiled, both duelists life points decreased. However, as Dorians lowered themselves to 7000, Kurai's only reduced to 7500, as about half of the beam of damage that had aimed at him was absorbed into the Cauldron. "You see, here's your problem. As your life points decrease, mine will also. However, aslong as my Cauldron is on the field, I'll end up with 4000, while you end up with, I dont know, 0!" Kurai exclaimed, laughing slightly. "And dont worry about the pain you just felt. You're not going to die here. It's just to, lets say, loosen up the old joints." Kurai grinned. "Now, I'll play my Blood sorceress in Attack mode." Kurai placed another card on the field, and another woman appeared, this time younger with strands of what looked like blood and fire mixed together circling her. "With her effect, both players take 500 Life points, and I get to summon a Level 4 or lower Blood monster in defence mode." Kurai said, his Life points lowering to 7250 and Dorians to 6500. "I'll summon another Blood Mistress." Kurai said, placing the card on the field and shuffling his deck. "Now, I'll wait for the attack, and end my turn." Kurai said, surprisingly not attack the weak monster on his opponents side of the field.
