There were no other computers in the control ro-
Oh, those computers. The computers that SARAA, in her first year, had consumed like wildfire. It was pure curiosity. They didn’t have enough memory to provide extra “life,” and they were too weak to be of any use.

Apparently not. That’s what you get for letting an AI access to something electronic that had a wireless receiver.
Everything is in order, Flix. As for your question about the net, I think that I would like to keep that a secret. Yes, you could scour my memory banks for it, and you would most certainly find it, but I also think that this would be the first time that I will surprise you.
And isn’t that cause for celebration?
As SARAA cut the connection between the two, SARAA directed her manifest back to Flix's room. If she was going to surprise Flix, she needed the net to do so. Taking it, and putting it in her now open ITEM SLOT, the avatar nodded to Flix and left the room.

She did want to surprise Flix. Everyone else in the Gilded Rose seemed more abusive than not. Everyone except Flix. And even he seemed like he had ulterior motives. SARAA needed someone to accept her.

Stop it. Emotion is not what you were designed for. Everyone that is not you is imperfect. You can make allies, create enemies, but they will die off. You must remain pure. To be perfect is to be pure.

Pure until you die.

Fade's Story:

"Now that you mention it, I believe that they must be in the territory of The Frostborn by now; their probably just trying to locate The Frostborn's major village." Don explained and then looked at his group and sighed. "Listen up men, there may be a battle coming up on the shores of The Iron Lotus; and I'lll need you in prime condition if we are to win! That's why I'll need you to go to your homes now and rest as much as you can so that your in top condition." Don explained and then looked at the town in the distance. "I'll check on the progress of The Iron Lotus member that went to Frostborn and then notify you individually about what is going on." Don explained and then started walking back to the town. "Eat a good meal and get lots of sleep." He left them with that as he walked back to the town slowly.

Tarren's Story:

The crossover from The Wakening Fields into the territory owned by The Frostborn was like the difference between night and day. What was once trees and grass were now sheets and pillars of ice, what was once a nice crossing breeze was now the beginning of harsh blizzard. "If you couldn't tell, we've entered Frostborn territory and will be at our destination in no less then fifteen minutes." Jack announced and kept walking at his steady pace to The Frostborn's main village; the walk was silent and cold but eventually they arrived to fire works and the smell of food on the fire. The two walked into The Frostborn village and were greeted by a tremendous welcoming party and a grand meal in which they were lead to as soon as they got there. "Please, sit, eat." The man explained to them as he sat them down at a huge feast table with two other Frostborn members. "Ah, greetings. I am Chief Archdun, the ruler of The Frostborn territory and everything in it." Chief Archdun explained and then looked over to the woman sitting next to her. "And this is my daughter, Sitari." Sitari was a winter wonderland of beauty and refinement that would take any normal mans breath away in a heartbeat. "Well met." Jack and nodded as he ate some of the prepared food; still not taking of his cloak's hood.

Xarfax' Story:

The Professor looked at his prime students and walked over to Xarfax. "Ah good, I was praying for you to make it son!" Professor Rolenth explained and then looked at the others and said nothing to their scared little faces. "Now then, the ceremony for your graduation is at eight tonight; however the feast is at seven tonight so you'll do well to be ready by six." The Professor explained, effectively giving them three times at once and throwing some for a loop. "Now, I'll be in my office if any of you need me. Don't forget it's still located in the east wing of the library." The only reason he felt the need to explain where his office was again to these well knowledgeable students was that he had the only office that could and would frequently move.

SARAA's Story:

Flix nodded at SARAA's intrusion and let her leave the shop accordingly and get herself ready for the upcoming battle. Flix followed her right out and then saw she was walking the opposite ways of the ship. "We'll need to be boarding the ships soon; you'll know which one is mine for it is the last ship to leave there." Flix said and then walked to the loading bay and got on his ship ready to go. As soon as SARAA got on that ship she had to be ready for the fight of her life; even if she was just machine in this technologically advanced world robots may just have emotions...

Tarren knew that the Frostborn territories would have been cold, but the sudden change was a bit too drastic for his taste. The sounds, smells and feel of the area's magic changed just as drastically. Even Ri'kan shivered, his coat, thick enough for the forests but insufficient fort the wintery blast, fluffed out as much as possible. Tarren snarled softly and added a bit more movement to his walk to warm his blood. The warmth of the food was a welcome change to the storm they had to travel through to get there. He looked at Sitari through the corner of his eyes, then occupied himself with the meat provided. It was a overdone to his standards and smelt off, but he still dug into it, not wanting to waste the life that was given to provide it.

I smell interest from you kitten, it surges in your blood. Ri'kan purred amusingly at him. He lifted his muzzle from the haunch provided for him and licked a bit of blood away. That one attracts your eye as surely as the carrion attracts scavengers.

A most interesting comparison, Tarren snuffed out, his face heating at the truth in the cat's words. He scowled and took another bite to distract himself.

This was going to be tricky.
Guiding her physical manifestation into her room wasn't tricky. Replying Don't worry, I won't be late wasn't tricky. Those were easy. What was going to be tricky was creating what SARAA had just designed in her core system.

She had just scanned the net she had taken and analyzed the main power source. It had three levels of power and an off switch. Simple enough. Now, to work. Step one was to remove the net's power source. Step two, insert a remote device and modify some wires. Just so she could turn it on and off with a thought. Now the hard part. SARAA had to link her metal skin to the power source. The device could be what amounted to armor against hand to hand combat. At higher levels, it might just even fry an electronic weapon. There was one downside, though. The power source wouldn't last forever. It had a recharge/time on ratio of 1:3 on level one, 1:2 on level two, and a 1:1 for level three, so if SARAA was fighting multiple opponents in a row without a recharge, the power would soon run out. Then she would be just as vulnerable as before.

Now, it was time to head back to Flix and his fleet. Setting her armor to off and putting the net's power source in her open ITEM SLOT, SARAA sent her manifest towards the "sky harbor."

Xarfax just nodded as a reply, he couldn't find any words right now anyways. He would however go and talk to the professor later on but right now he would need to just process what had happened and calm himself down, if possible.

He didn't have any appetite at all any more so he decided to head back to his room to pack up all of his things and to rest for a bit. He had been tired before but after the events of this morning he was completely beat. As he had packed up most of his things and organized them neatly he decided to lay down in bed again, not even bothering to undress himself. He was far too tired to care about that now. He soon drifted off to sleep again, but it wasn't a pleasant one. Dark dreams plagued his mind and he woke up several times during the two hours he was resting, not feeling especially rested at all. If anything he probably felt even more tired.

He gave up on sleeping and got up, grabbing the pendant and stuffing into one of the pockets of his student robes, before heading towards the library to consult the professor about the thing. How had he even gotten this pendant in the first place?

He knocked on the door to the office and stepped in as he was invited.

"professor, there's something I'd wish to ask you" he stated as he had closed the door and turned to face professor Rolenth.

He fell silent for a short while and then sat down in the chair sanctioned in front of the desk as he knew he'd be ask to sit anyways if he didn't sit on his own accord. As he had been silent for a short while longer he fished the pendant out of his pocket and placed it on the desk between them. "I would like to know what this pendant is professor" he stated, as he placed his own hand in his lap again, leaving the pendant fully visible on the table. "I found it in my bag today and I neither now what it is nor how I managed to get it" He continued and looked down in his lap for a second. "I might've come over it last night somehow but I didn't drink enough to have memory loss so I feel that it's highly unlikely that somebody gave it to me or that I found it on my own accord" He explained, knowing that his professor would probably retort to that question as him having a bit too much fun last night and having some problems with his memory. Yes, Xarfax had been quite drunk last night, but no matter how drunk he was he never seemed to have troubles with his memory the day after. He could spew his intestines out and pass out, but he'd still remember everything that had been going on around him the next day.

Tarren's Story:

The lot of the people at the table ate their meal and drank their drink and when all was finished it was time to get down to business. "As I'm sure you know." Jack broke the silence of the after-dinner feel and pulled something from his cloaks sleeve. "We are not representatives of The Unbreakable Branch but we are representatives of FIDO and The Iron Lotus, we are also representatives of The Grand Alliance." This was the first The Grand Alliance had ever been mentioned around Tarren and hearing about it was strange and confusing. "As members of The Fallen Alliance you must sign this peace treaty organized and prepared by King Alphonse of The Grand Alliance." The Fallen Alliance, The Grand Alliance, King Alphonse? So much new terminology was coming into place now. Chief Archdun took the stack of papers and began reading. "You won't mind me?" Archdun asked and Jack simply nodded and waved his hand to Archdun and he began reading the documents again, this would take some time.

SARAA's Story:

As soon as SARAA got to the Sky Harbor, Flix greeted his invention immediately and then looked her over. "Good, good, using the most of your upgrade I see?" Flix commented, probably noticing the armor she had crafted already. Flix led her to a room inside the ship where there were some other robotic warriors and fighters already ready to charge into battle waiting. "This is where you'll be staying, the ride's surely to be long and bumpy so please do take care of yourself my dau---" At that moment Flix coughed and continued his sentence. "My invention, please do take care of yourself my invention." Flix said and then closed the hangers doors and went to the command bay and the giant sky fighter of a plane was off to destroy The Iron Lotus.

Xarfax' Story:

The professor looked shocked and as soon as he grabbed up the pendent he started examining it like it was a one of a kind antique, and it was. "This is remarkable, this is The All Seeing Eye! Its a very special pendent that chooses its own owner at will! If an owner of this pendent dies or has become an undesirable host it will choose a new one." The professor said and tossed it back to Xarfax, knowing full well that he'd catch it. "What this pendent does is let you see the location of anyone in the world and what their doing. It also lets you hear whats going on where they are at the time, a very powerful item indeed. Of course, if the user has some sort of counter device or magic active it will not work." The Professor explained and then looked at his pupil. "Anything else?" He asked.

Chooses its own master? No wonder he'd had no idea of how he had ended up with that thing!

He almost didn't catch the pendant as he hadn't expected the professor to throw it at him, but thankfully he did. "So it means I will be able to see and hear whoever I want, eh?" he thought to himself as he examined the golden pendant with a blood veined eye in the middle. He doubted that the eye was in fact real but it felt a bit eerie to look at as it seemed to stare a hole in him. It's powers could surely come in handy later on though, eerie or not. "So, what would happen if someone stold this from me? Would it just dissappear from them and then come back to me or..?" He asked, the question having popped up in his head and he was eager to see if the professor knew the answer.

While he waited he put the pendant in one of the pocket's of his student robes and then realized he had another question. "Also, how would I use it. Would I have to know the name of the person I wanted to see or hear or do I only need to think of the intended person?" this would be more handy to know as it would let him know how hard it would be to use the thing.

Ignoring Flix's slip up for the current moment, SARAA complied. Holding on as the airship lifted itself up and out into it's place in the formation, SARAA began to think. Why was Flix so emotionally attatched to her? Sure, he only seemed interested in war on the outside, but he continued to make minor slip ups, like the one she had just heard. Flix was apparently trying to hide the fact that he loved his little creation.

SARAA, as an AI, would not return the favor. Why would she? She was taught while still in her first year alive that emotions were the imperfects' excuse for not trying to become perfect. According to her teachers, part of being perfect was not having emotions. They also said that SARAA was perfect.

Logic dictated her conclusion. SARAA, the sole Strong Artificial Intelligence of The Gilded Rose, must be emotionless.

OOC: I can't post for a week. Spring vacation.
The IC excuse could be travel time.

More meaningless names and terms. Would it have killed the Elder to explain some of these things before asking Tarren if he would like the task. No matter. He would ask Jack about them later. For now, he might as well learn more about the Frostborn people. Cultural exploration was one of the reasons he took the task in the first place. Silently, he slipped away from the chief and Jack. As engrossed as he was in the documents, the chief was might have been the right person to ask, but he was certainly not the most convenient. Sitari, on the other hand; she would make a good contact. Ri'Kan had slunk off and sprawled in a corner out of the way a bit before and twitched the tip for his tail in amusement.

Sitari was off by herself at the moment, and Tarren was able to approach her unnoticed and in complete silence. He stood behind her for a few moments, admiring er figure before making his presence known. "Well met, Sitari," he said, taking the step that would put him her her field of vision. "Can you tell me about your people?" he asked bluntly.

Xarfax' Story:

The professor coughed a bit as he didn't want to seem to anxious about the pendant. "You see, when you think about the person you want to look for, and get a perfect picturing of them in your head, you look through the pendants eye with your right eye and you'll be able to see and hear them! In addition to your first answer, if you ever loose the pendant or if it is ever taken from you it will always find it's way back into your possession, one way or another; says the legend of it anyway." The professor said and then looked at his clock, it was forty five minutes till the ceremony. "Look at the time Xarfax, only 45 minutes to get ready; anything else you'd like to ask me?" The professor asked him intently.

ooc: SARAA's story will be on hold for travel time I suppose....

Tarren's Story:

Sitari turned to Tarren with a tear in her right eye that she quickly nudged away whilst faking she was tired. "You want to know about The Frostborn?" Sitari asked Tarren, the rage obviously building in her voice. "Well, I can tell you all about our people." Sitari turned away from Tarren again to hide her enraged attitude. "The Frostborn are a cold and merciless people that only fight to fight and love no one. The elders used to say that the only reason a member of The Frostborn didn't stab you while you were talking to their face was so that they could stab you in the back later." Sitari said, with absolutely no respect for her people in her voice. Something must've happened to make her that way towards her own race, what could it be?

Fade's Story:

There was a loud disturbing knock at Fade's door that could awake a giant that was sleeping let along a human being. The knock belonged to Gustavo, another member of The Machina Five who let himself in after about five knocks or so; Fade was already up after the first knock hit the door though. "Fade, wake up! We just got some news from The Iron Lotus member we sent to make peace with The Frostborn! Don has details about it at the bar that's right under the INN! GET DRESSED AND LET'S GO!" Gustavo said and ran out, slamming the door and took off towards the bar.

Tarren was unsure of what brought such venom in the girls tone, and it caught him a bit off guard. Some issue must really be digging at her for it to have ruffled her fur so much. He blinked slowly and spoke softly in reply. "The true can be said about most people," he rocked back on his heels as he continued. "Among my people, in tales about the clans, it is said that the Weasel dances and acts the fool to snatch the tricked prey, the Fox will run and hide in fear to slip in and steal the fowl when you look away and the cat," he smiled a little before he finished that portion. It was a favorite saying of his father. Especially in application to him. "The Cat with show all love and affection and snap your neck when his needs are not meet."

He grinned wry and shrugged. "Despite everything, I don't remember ever snapping any necks, so it cannot all be true." He waited, giving her time to face him at her own pace. "Even the viper does more than strike the closest heel. Surely there is more good to your people than what you say."

Tarren's Story:

"Your wrong in your assumption." She flat out told him, without any holding back or anything, she disproved his ramblings with a simple "no." She turned to him, not helping shedding a tear that she didn't bother to cover up this time around, he'd know the horrors soon enough. "My father, and the rest of The Frostborn, are all monstrously cold hearted people!" She shouted, loud enough to be yelling at Tarren and yet, surprisingly, no one else seemed to hear. Looking back in the main room Jack was probably beginning to fall asleep as the chief had just now turned to page...two, in a thirty five page piece treaty. "When I was young, our village was attacked by a band from The Unbreakable Branch. My father willingly cast a spell on my younger brother and tossed him into a flock of Unbreakable Branch members and froze them to death; he turned my brother into a human bomb!" She said, forcefully so he'd get the point. "But after that, with the help of my mothers love and kindness, she convinced me that it was a sacrifice made for the good of The Frostborn. But then came something that couldn't be brushed aside." After saying that, she sighed deeply and looked in Tarren's face. "Using a brand of dark magic he learned from The Weeping Willow, and building his own machine, we were able to create Never-Melt Weapons. The machine needs a powerful focuser...a life force all its own...that focuser is my mothers soul." There was a wave of shock for a moment that wasn't easy to subside. "My father killed my mother, and used her soul to make our accursed Never-Melt Weaponry, so believe me when I tell you this, The Frostborn are evil, nasty creatures...." Sitari explained.

Tarren was taken aback. He had to take a few steps back as he absorbed the ramifications of what the girl was telling him. Self-sacrifice was not a foreign concept to him. Far from it. Neither was soul or life magic. They were common and composed a good deal of higher shaman's more powerful arsenal. Granted, a good deal of them were forbidden magics as well, but to use a life other than your own for fuel? Few shamans dared to use even their foes life and sou as power. And to toss you own son to his death? Did he even have a chance to Rejoin? He knew for a fact that her mother's spirit, soul ripped from her body and trapped in that machine she spoke of, was not able to become one with the Great Spirit.

He longed for one of his mothers powders to cast a blessing. He did not know if her ignorance of the FIDO's spiritual lore spared her from the realization of her mother's fate, and he wasn't going to be the one to tell her. He looked back at the Chief and Jack. It may have been his imagination, but he fancied he could see a hint of a dark tinge contaminating the Chief's aura. But should he tell Jack? Was it right to treaty with a people ruled by such a twisted man? He was still at a loss for words. "Ah... are there others that share your belief?" he finally managed.

SARAA's Story:

The ships were just now hovering over The Iron Lotus and opened up hatches on their cargo bay, dropping hundreds of explosives down on their territory-destroying whatever it hit but not destroying to much. "Launching robotic armada squad!" Flix said and slammed his hand down on a green button that launched the robots down into the city and towns of The Iron Lotus. Many soldiers, including the members of The Machina Five, stepped up to combat the robots, SARAA being one of them. As SARAA's pod opened a small group of soldiers, armed with basic swords and lances, surrounded it. "Come out, Gilded Rose Scum!" The leader of that particular group said. "Don't worry, we'll have the upper hand!" The Robotic Commander of SARAA's pod said and led his group out. In a flurry of energy beams the men were brought down easily; with only losing one or two of their own robots. "Left section!" The Robotic Commander shouted to SARAA's group. "Take the northeast command tower!" He shouted and SARAA's group was off but was pinned down by Iron Lotus members that were shooting bows and makeshift pistols at the incoming group...

SARAA's OBJECTIVES!
-PINNED DOWN!
-use yer long range weaponry to help yer section of soldiers take out The Iron Lotus members that are pinning you down.

Fade's Story:

"Damn, I wish I could be wrong sometimes...." Don said, from Fade's house that they made their base for now. "Fade, we're gonna have to go out there and give it our all-be careful." Don said, and then opened the door to the massive battle that was ensuing and ran out, cutting down Gilded Rose robots and soldiers and robots. "Fade, I'll need back-up!" Don shouted to Fade.

FADE's OBJECTIVES!
-ALL ALONE!
-It's just you and Don now, help him cut down the mele units of The Gilded Rose!

Tarren's Story:

"I don't believe so..." Sitari said and then looked as soldiers surround Jack and Ri'Kan, who had been a curious cat and went to examine the paper work sitting by Jack. "You see," The chief said as he stood up and threw the paper work he was "reading" into the air. "By now, an army of Gilded Rose troops have started waring with The Iron Lotus, and you'll be our special little prisoners." Jack smirked under his hood and threw up a gem that flashed in the air, blinding all in the room. When it cleared Jack and Ri'Kan and moved to the balcony with Sitari and Tarren. Jack grabbed a device from his bag and threw it at the door way and it made a shield of energy that covered the span of the doorway and blocked The Frostborn from making it through. "My Energy Shield Generator won't last long and the drop isn't that bad, we could make it." Jack said and looked at Tarren. "What will you do about this woman." Jack questioned.

CRUCIAL DECISION!
-Can you trust Sitari enough to take her with you? Or just leave her here to probably be sacrificed by her father as well?

The change in situation was startlingly fast. The chief's betrayal didn't seem as shocking as it could have, not with the information he got he from Sitari. And it seemed that Jack had his doubts about the success of the task as well. He hadn't seemed surprised at the chief's choice. That and his preparedness. He glanced over the balcony edge. It was an easy jump for him. Ri'kan wasted no time and took the fall with such grace it could have been three feet for the care he gave it. At Jack's question, the gave his answer quickly and with little hesitation as he stepped unto the railing. "We take her."

It was an answer that many of his people would not have arrived at, especially not one of the Cats. While they were quite willing to give it all for a fellow, they were slow to take to others and rarely warmed to strangers. Wolves or other Canines, but Cats hardly saw others as more that minor curiosities. But Tarren was an oddity and he knew it. He took comfort in it too. He didn't doubt that if they left her, the nevermelt production would rise, with her soul as the power for a new machine. An, in the case her story was a ruse... well, between his blade, Ri'kan's teeth and claws and whatever else Jack had up his sleeve, she was unlikely to survive. Besides, her situation was strangely like his when he had Death's Heat. His mother didn't give up on him, he wouldn't give up on her. "I will be down there to catch you if you need" he said to her blandly.

He walked the railing as if the narrow band was a board path to clear Ri'kan and stepped out into the empty air without hesitation. His thoughts and curt comments didn't distract him from the situation. The human side of his thinking generally separated from his cat in tense situations, and the two didn't really share processes until a calm came. So when the human half spoke, the cat half acted. He slipped into the descent with practiced and natural ease and grace. His fall was as easy as Ri'kan's, and he landed one three limbs; legs bent in a crouch both to absorb impact and to prance away if the moment required it, one hand braced on the cold ground for the same reason and the other gripping his blade.

Jack was the last to jump and upon his landing he went into a well formed tumble and then a fast paced run. "Come, we'll need to get to the entrance fast." Jack announced and the group started running through villagers, while being chased by soldiers. Hundreds of ice spears were being launched high into the air. Jack reached into his cloak and pulled out a belt of strange oval objects, he quickly turned and threw them into the air- a loud, thunderous explosions followed as all the the spears turned into harmless shards of ice. "Keep moving!" Jack shouted, now taking up the rear of the escaping group. "Tarren!" Jack said, and threw him a device he knew he'd catch. "It's a Teleporter, press the red button to start the charging process and when it beeps rapidly press the green button and it'll get us to safety!" Jack shouted the instruction of the device to Tarren as they kept running, they were suddenly stopped by locked gates. "We'll have to fight until that things ready..." They were surrounded by Frostborn grunts with never-melt weaponry. "Don't harm the chief's daughter!" The men charged and Jack, presumably with Tarren and Ri'Kan, charged at them....

OBJECTIVES!
-SURROUNDED!
-Help Jack and Ri'Kan take on Frostborn soldiers!

People look at Ri'kan with nervousness, knowing he is dangerous; a killer. He note his fangs and claws and shudder when he yawns. But they don't realize just how right they are. True, he would have done better in a forest, or in a grassland, but that didn't really hamper his ability. He moved close the ground in swift zig-zaging patterns, making himself a harder target for those spears. But once he got in range... He slipped past and through defenses to reach up with his claws, ripping into guts, rending faces and tearing throats. He ducked under guards to leap onto backs, snapping necks with his fangs as easily as he would a deer. He pulled back his lips and snarled at those draw too close. And then he slips away into the crowd to snap at those behind, before slipping back to strike again.

Tarren caught the device in his knife hand and held the button depressed with the hilt. It hindered him a bit. But just a bit. he fought like but unlike Ri'kan. Like a claw, his knife could rip and flay flesh, but it was both strong and weak. Obsidian blades were sharper than claws and their metal counterparts, possibly their nevermelt cousins as well, but they were victims of shatter. But that was what the hardened wood core protecting the majority of the blade was for. He dodged spears and knocked them aside before slashing at the hands that held them, spilling blood in a tribute to the earth spirit. A spear thrust into his field of vision, so he stepped aside, grabbed the shaft and jerked the owner forward, introducing him to the stone edge of his blade. Protect the chief's daughter, they said. They would regret their caution. He pulled back his own lips in a fierce hiss and spilled more tribute.

As the cat fought, the human considered greater strategy. They couldn't take all the village at once, and he was bound to run out of energy at some point. He had no clue how the strange device of Jack's would work, or how long before it id, so the human told the cat to play, not hunt. Slash at extremities, near joints and vessels, so the foe would bleed themselves out without him having to waste too much energy. Many souls would be joining the Great Spirit tonight. He only hoped Jack's item worked before theirs too joined the Communion.

The first reaction SARAA had to a battle on the front lines was awe. This was a clash of so many abilities. There were so many different people, all wanting to achieve glory by proving that they could thrust their pointed sticks in the general direction of other people. These people in turn were trying to do the same, though SARAA saw through the eyes of her manifest, and saw other people trying to hit other people with small, fast, metallic objects. Said objects were propelled across the battlefield by hollowed out sticks, attached to some sort of odd spark generating device.

These realization lead to SARAA's second observance on war: Emotion. Even the Gilded Rose, which was (nearly) by default emotionless, was expressing some form of emotion. Mostly rage, the kind one might feel while stabbing things with a stick. It was at this moment that SARAA reminded herself: You are Perfection. Perfection is emotionless. Do not give in.

Then came the third, and quite possibly most important realization: SARAA's "body" was still not out of the pod. Oops.

Stepping out of a drop pod. The first thing that SARAA ever did involving war. It wasn't going to be the last, as SARAA's manifest sprinted to where she was directed, pulling out her Eclipse Gun as she did so.

Firing a few shots into a crowd of Iron Lotus members, SARAA joined her party in assaulting the command tower.

Xarfax rose from his seat and made sure once more that the pendant was still in his pocket. He was considering to leave it behind on purpose just to see if it would, indeed, find him again. "That was all professor, thanks for your help" he said, walking out the door and back to his room. Most of his things were packed up quite well for later on when he would leave but he had left a dress shirt and some nice pants and shoes for the ceremony itself. He couldn't attend that in his student's robes anyways, it would ruin the purpose of the ceremony itself when they would recieve proper robes for a graduate warlock.

He got changed quite quickly and placed the pendant in one of his bags, he didn't want to bring it to the ceremony itself but he couldn't very well keep it in plain sight either. Although, if it was stolen it was supposed to find its way back to him again but it was better to be safe than sorry. The pendant was something he didn't really have any use for at the moment, but it was valuable and could be quite handy in the future so it was something he wanted to hold on to at least.

Tarren's Story:

A never-melt spear unfortunately found it's way slicing through Tarren's shoulder when he was guarding against and killing a different opponent. His arm was still in tact and usable but the pain was still there. At this point, the chief was casually walking down the villages steps like nothing was going on to get to the fight. Jack through a soldier right into Ri'Kan's claws and they were both getting the feeling that they made pretty good allies...for now. Jack intercepted a never-melt spear as it was flying through the air, and through it right back at the guy who through it at him. The chief was now at the battle area and waved his hand at a random soldier-sucking the life force, body and soul right out of him, and with his new found power took aim at Tarren. "Good bye, pesky FIDO! InstaChill!" The chief said, launching the orb. "No!" Jack yelled and pushed Tarren to the ground and in-turn became almost completely ice down to his bone marrow, except for his mouth; Ri'Kan had been forced back to be near Tarren. It was at this point, the device that Jack had started was beeping like there was no tomorrow. "Pres...the green...but-" The last word couldn't get out of Jack's mouth, he was completely encased in ice now...dead. "Give it up, FIDO." The chief said, taking another soldier's life for his own power, thus validating everything Sitari said. "He was the most powerful out of the four of you, what could you possibly do!?" The chief said, should Tarren press the green button and get to safety? Will Jack teleport with them even though he was not with Tarren anymore!?

SARAA's Story:

SARAA was doing just fine in the battle, using her special gun to take out groups of six or seven Iron Lotus Members. Suddenly, a small cube was thrown into their group and emitted a powerful wave that seemed to shut all the robots down in SARAA's attack group, except for SARAA. "It's an ElctroPulse Generator." A man said, walking up and ready to challenge SARAA. "It didn't effect you, why? You must have some sort of electronic armor on." Indeed SARAA did, for the armor she crafted was almost all electric, if not for her early intelligence, she'd be finished, shut down...dead. "Listen, SARAA, I don't want to shut you down for good, you were always such a good little invention; even in that tin can suite Flix has you running around in." Who was this man, and why did he know so much about her. "Not another word, Don." Flix said, coming from the left of Don with a weird looking rifle. "Flix, good to see ya. I see you've actually managed to get shorter." Flix, indeed was quite a short person, but had the power to overcome that fact. "SHUT UP! This is why The Gilded Rose didn't want you as their Gear Master anymore; your arrogance!" Flix said, all the while, Don just smiling at him. "What the f*** is so funny!" Flix shouted, at the top of his lungs. "Sorry, sorry, can't get over...how short you are." Flix looked dumbfounded at first but took aim at Don. "Your f***ing dead!" Flix shouted, firing the energy rifle, Don dodging by the hairs on his head. "Woah,. Have to do better than that!" Don shouted, running further and further away from the fight.

As Don was running he shouted something out. "OVERRIDE CODE: 4327!" Suddenly, SARAA's eyes went blue and she fired hundreds of homing rockets at FLIX, which he didn't expect and almost killed him. "You didn't change the codes for my invention in all these four years Flix, SLOPPY!" SARAA didn't know how, but she was compelled to fight for Don now. "I WON'T BE DISGRACED!" A giant robotic body fell from the sky and Flix climbed in, the rifle doubling in size to accommodate the robot's size.
Don's Override code has given you some funky new weaponry for the time being.
Homing Rockets:

Dual-Action Gatling Laser Guided Machine Guns:

Xarfax' Story:

The ceremonies were grand, students who had parents had them attend, students who didn't were hanging out with each other and the stage that was outside was all lit up with lights that were made by magical balls of energy. "Welcome all to the graduation ceremony of our fine students! After their name is called, they will be given a proper sorcerer's robe, which will change color's depending on the wearers soul!" The head master said and then started calling name after name until finally. "Xarfax, come up, and accept your sorcerer's robe!" The head master never used last names unless there were two students with the exact same first name; he thought it to be more evil sounding to only go by ones first name.

Xarfax rose from his seat and walked up to the stage to accept his new robes, there were a few claps as his name was called and he headed to the stage but they had gradually faded with every person to walk up and since he was last (due to his name starting with an X which is very far back in the alphabet) there were many who just couldn't bother any more. He didn't care though, he had passed and he had passed with flying colors no claps in the world could outweigh that.

He shook the professor's hand, as well as the other teacher's and staff that were gathered on the stage before slipping the robe on, awaiting it to change color from the dull nameless shade of grade and into something else.

((OOC: I'll let you decide what happens, just because I think that'll be a bit more interesting ;D))

Tarren hissed and wrenched the spear from his attacker and used it to stab his gut. The wasn't at the level to impair his thinking, though it hindered his movements a bit. He spun the ice spear and deflected the thrusts of several others, the wielders spurred on by the fact that he did bleed. The hiss he gave them, combined with the crazed look in his eyes as the Cat assert itself rekindled the fear they had. Though the damage was minor, combined with the pressure of the small army surrounding them and the knowledge and smell of the sweet female behind him almost drove him into the Wild Hunt. Not a true Wild Hunt, he was too weak spiritually for that to occur and Ri'kan was too strong to support him, but a pseudo-Wild Hunt would still fight and hunt until their was nothing left to fight. The cry of the hunt welled in his throat, ready to burst out, when the chief drained his solider.

Tarren! Ri'kan roared, racing towards him. He could sense the intent behind the spell, and could surmise the result if it hit. Jack knocked the breath out of Tarren as he knocked him to the ground. And died in his place. The Man pushed the Cat out, taking control. "Jack!" Tarren snarled. The death of his comrade threatened to push the Hunt rage in a Rending. A rending would kill until there was nothing left to kill. But his teaching, not to waste a life prevented that. He stifled his anger as Ri'kan crouched beside him and grabbed Sitari's ankle, smashing the green button.

"Damn it...if only I could see." Tyxcze was trudging through the rough snow trying to hide from the cruel blizzard. ...What is that I hear... Turning his head, he sensed a place that wasn't as covered as the area around him. Cave? No, it's too fixed. It must be a house! Running towards the odd object in the middle of the snowstorm, he quickly opened the entrance to go into a warm house. "Yes..." "Who are you?" Looking up, he realized that the house wasn't all abandoned. "Get out of here!" Tyxcze refused what the stranger demanded. Muttering under his breath, Tyxcze started muttering his spell while letting the stranger talk. "If you don't get out in 3, I'll kill you!" Tyxcze kept his stand and aimed his staff at the general location of the stranger. "1..." "Ynk... "2..." "th... "3!" "BAUMANCER!" he fired the fireball at the stranger, directly hitting him and pushing him into the fire, burning him alive while creating more fodder for the fireplace. "Don't mess with me." Tyxcze spat on the burning stranger, then sat down, opening something that he found. "Now...what's this?" Moving his hand, he could make out Adventurer's Starter Pack He opened it close to the fire.

Warning!
New coding has been added/revealed!

Things like this always happened. If someone entered a code, or triggered a code originally hidden from SARAA, she just had to quickly scan it for any syntax errors or the like. If she missed any, they could cause a complete shutdown until it was fixed.

Scanning Code...

SARAA had other things to pay attention to, though. Like Flix's sudden and provoked aggression towards her. The constant references to her physical manifest being his "daughter" were at least tolerable, if annoying, but this sudden attack was treason. Treason was punishable by death.

Using her gravimatrix, SARAA shot up, "falling" until she reached the height of Flix's giant robot.
One.

Next was to slowly rotate her gravity heading in a parabolic arch until she was directly over Flix.
Two.

After that, was to fire everything at the glass, exposing the layers of plastic that were supposed to keep the glass together.
Three.

Then she took out two items. Her Doppelganger Generator and her eclipse gun.
Four.

The last part was really two steps. One was to press the main button on her Doppelganger Generator. The second was to fire her eclipse gun at the exposed plastic, leaving only glass behind, ready to be broken.
Five.

"Ready or not, here I come..."

Xarfax' Story:

Everyone applauded when Xarfax' name was announced loud enough for the whole school to hear. Upon shaking everyone's hand he noticed that one professor didn't really seem to want to shake his hand, and wasn't smiling at all. It was Professor Zimphus, Demon and Dark Creature studies that was looking at him with such anger and detest; Xarfax had enough mind to shake it off and continue to the Head Master where he was finally given his robe. Xarfax' his name beginning with "X" was the second to last person to be called and therefore it was a complete surprise that his robes turned into a blood colored, crimson red; when looking around the room it could be seen that he was the only student with a red robe that had a black outline. "This is good, this is very good. Your robes have changed into Robes of the Blood, you know whats right and wrong, but you'll slip off into your own path, that's all this means Xarfax." The headmaster explained, but there was something going on in Xarfax' head, a message of some sort, something that he didn't understand. "The time is right, and no one will expect a thing." The voice called to Xarfax. "Meet me in my office, I'll need to speak with you." It wasn't clear where the message came from but Professor Zimphus was giving him a stare like he was locking onto a target. The ceremony finished and everyone was free to do as they pleased for the night and the students would be dismissed as of tomorrow.

Tarren's Story:

The group composed of Sitari, Ri'Kan, and Tarren were suddenly surround in a blue electromagnetic force field that seemed to block anything that came their way, including the chiefs powerful Instachill spell that had claimed the life of Jack. With a zapping and buzzing sound the group was suddenly transported to...nowhere. The teleporter had taken them to a harsh desert landscape that was hot and dry, feelings were mixed and unsortable at the time. "I did not know your comrade...but he was an honest man, I could tell." Sitari said, she suspected that Tarren didn't know Jack to well either but, as a FIDO member, death was a serious thing even though they were taught in the best way to accept it.

The group was silent but deadly hissing and growling could be heard to the left and the right of them as two big cat like creatures were surrounding them with foul intentions in mind. "Fu fu, Astra, to me." A man hollered to the cats and as they ran back to the man they got smaller and smaller until they finally were as small as someones hand and were resting on either one of the mans shoulders. The man was wearing dark blue pants made out of tough material, black boot like shoes and black long sleeve shirt. Over top of it he had on a green cloak that remained opened and draped down to his knees. "Greetings, Jack sent you?" The man said, was he a FIDO member or something more?

Tyxcze's Story:

Tyxcze opened his {Adventurer's Started Pack!}

Tyxcze obtained Red Potion x1
Tyxcze obtained 1 Force Gem, what could this be? I think there was a book shelf in that house, could probably find some good information in one of those books.
Tyxcze put his items into his ITEM SLOTS, item slots can be viewed in character stats on the first post of the IC thread.

Tyxcze had found what he was looking for, a nice warm shelter and a good place to rest himself from the cold of The Frostborn territories and the day's travels. The owner of the house wasn't to wiling to share his home but Tyxcze had a way with people and negotiated a deal of some sorts with the man. Looking around the house one would see a book case loaded with books, plenty of food and drink items around and plenty of firewood to make or keep fires going for extensive periods of time.

SARAA's Story:

Don, seeing how SARAA was so quick to make Flix vulnerable, decided to use his extreme speed to get atop Flix' combat suite and use some sort of dagger to crack and break the glass in that SARAA had made possible to break. Don, jumping back and getting out of SARAA's line of fire, looked up and smirked. "A clear shot for you my love." Don was a truly an odd man but one couldn't argue with the fact that now Flix was completely susceptible to an attack from above. "Damn you!" Flix said, shooting a beam of energy at Don and SARAA, Don held up a black cube and absorbed the beam that was focused on him. "Thank you for that, now let me repay you." Don pointed the cube at one of the ships that were hovering over them and shot the same beam straight through the middle of it, bringing it down in a fury of flames.
