Although I have more of a say about content than other members will, we aim to make this as fair as possible. This means that debating is encouraged and we will make content as broad as we can. We will only have restrictions when we really need to. This place should be fun and friendly with a healthy dose of scepticism and wit. We have no moderators. We have no law officers. This is a Communist Anarchy, but not a fragile one. We will only allow those we consider of right mind (i.e. intelligent enough to understand what the unspoken rules are) to be here. That way it is a clean yet equal society. Another thing - everyone here is equal. There are no authority figures. You should question everything, including stuff that I say. Although I set the ground rules and content, everything will be decided as a community. We will stifle your speaking, we will not kick-ban for disagreeing with us. That's the way it is. We will only accept certain submitters. If you are not fit to be a submitter, you can still join and duel. We'll let you submit cards. If they are good enough, we might let you be a submitter anyway!

Inspirational Freedom (INFD) 0/105

Link to comment

Mehmani
Of course you may join, I know from experience that you are an exquisite card maker. The CCCG is not "completely cut off" in the sense that [acronym='Leo's Corrupt Cardmaking Game/Ponzi Scheme']LCCG[/acronym] members are not allowed to join, but it is in a political sense. This place is different to [acronym='Leo's Corrupt Cardmaking Game/Ponzi Scheme']LCCG[/acronym] in that there is greater freedom of expression. I had a bad time there and I don't want others who just happen to like arguing their point rather than being docile kool-aid Jonestownians to go through what I did. This is the place for them. ~Nightshade~
Why, thank you, kind sir. Are there any limitations to the first set, and do you want anything to be focused on? dogfish44
Yo! I'm with you. I'm not holding anything against LCCG (Or any other, including the long dead NGD), but it'll be nice to start in a place where I can set base power levels and know what's balanced. Which brings me to question 1 - What sort of power levels will we be looking at? Link to comment

-Griffin
Will TCG card be included? It seems pretty silly to exclude them when we'll probably be making near-equivalents, and it makes them easier to remember if it's a name we're already used to. Link to comment

Will there be any limit to the number of cards that a person can submit?
The limit will only be what you think is acceptable. If you think that you should submit 55 cards, then by all means do, but if you think that you should only submit 20 or so so more members have a chance to submit, then do that. You have freedom. .Nu-13
How will we alter Veiler? Also, why "no" to Seer? Link to comment
-Griffin
I'm actually starting to dislike the idea of Jinzo, personally, since we don't know how consistent the trap count will be between Decks. So I'd rather it was introduced later, if at all, so it doesn't give uneven starting conditions if trap counts turn out to vary a lot. Could I ask for some explaination for Seer, Ice, and Android? The main reason I'd see for Seer is that it's a little clunky to use over YVD - Ice doesn't seem like a problem unless there's particularly good synchros or excess it can make. Android feels like practically a vanilla Synch, which is why it was chosen. Link to comment

-Griffin
I feel that if it's worth main-decking, the format might be too fast and hectic, so probably no. Certainly not for a first set. Link to comment

I'm not going to do the YVD format for an example because I feel that its hard to fully examine a *shot* Eco Giraffe Dark LV 3 Beast/Tuner When this monster is normal summoned, you may select one level 2 or lower plant-type monster from your graveyard and special summon it in attack mode on either-player's side of the field. Up to twice per turn, you can pay 500 lifepoints to increase the level of any number of plant-type monsters by one. 1400/1000 Little Dipper Continuous Spell When this card is activated, both players must sacrifice one monster. You can sacrifice this card in order to activate one "Big Dipper" from your deck, ignoring its activation requirements. This card is destroyed during the end phase of the turn it's activated. Big Dipper Field Spell When this card is activated, both players must return one spell or trap card from the field to their hand. This card can only be activated by destroying one "Little Dipper" on your side of the field. Whenever a monster attacks, that monster's controller must return a face down card on their side of the field to their hand. Whenever a monster is destroyed by battle and removed from play, that monster's controller gains 800 lifepoints. Hammer of Thor Trap Card Destroy all Thunder-type monsters on the field. Your opponent loses 600 life points for each monster destroyed by this ability. Once per turn, when this card resolves and is sent to the graveyard, you can send the top 3 cards of your deck to the graveyard to remove this card from play. You can discard one card from your hand to add this removed from play card to your hand. So that's a monster, 2 spells and a trap card I created. Link to comment
