So, I was watching my first episode of Glee ever, and it is safe to say I hated it. It's High School Musical-esque except the actual story and whatnot is pretty bad.

But while their covers can't beat the originals (ever), I found some of their covers to be pretty decent. Bad show, decent covers, probably something to watch on TV. Most everything else sucks anyways.

So discuss Glee, whether you like it or not, and their covers.

I enjoy the show.

Maybe it is because it is the only thing my family does together (watch this show). And maybe that has brought back that old charm of everyone enjoying the same thing. As you've said the story isn't that well-written, and it really does get repetitive. But there are times that they do a cover of a song, and though it obviously will never top that of the original, I like to see the different ways they go about approaching them.

It's like High School Musical...in that it has music and is in a high school. I don't think Vanessa Hudgens would lace cupcakes with pot. Also, the average Glee viewer is 34. It's not a kids show. Maybe in Britain we would bill it as one, but America is so damn conservative that kids wouldn't be let near it.

I like it (my love of Show Tunes is my weakness, admittedly), I find that the writing is good, the acting is brilliant at times and it is very well directed. It's very compulsive.

I like the show since it is more realistic example of a high schoolers life with the parting, drugs, alcohol, relationships, bullying. All except for everybody singing to make friendships. It does drop some of the subplots during the time, but some covers they do well. They put their own style on it. I am not a Gleek, but I do like the show.

Which totally explains why everyone in my school talks about Jershey Shore and Glee all day.

Or maybe they are just retarded.

BUT WE ARE MORE LIBERAL THAN YOU THINK WE HAVE A BLACK MAN AS PRESIDENT YOU DO NOT.

You are a far, far more racist, sexist and right-wing country than us (even though we have a toff for a Prime Minister). Barack Obama is not very Liberal by any standards. He's as Liberal as America will allow, but that's not much.

So explain why you haven't elected an African-American as President.

But I will agree, in terms of the world political system, we aren't liberal whatsoever. But we aren't super-conservative, our policies are still very moderate in the grand scheme of things. Conservative would be radical Middle-Eastern countries that do bad things.

Self explanatory.
