Well, it's Monday now, so... can we start now?

 

(Insert stuttering of indignation) Maybe for you, it's 8:25 in the morning here, I've only just got up (don't worry I did at least shower and dress before coming on YCM, although my breakfast is in my lap as I type).

 

But yes, I now declare 'The YCM Top Gear Cheap Car(d) Turbo Duelling Cup Contest Chall...' open.

 

Recieves golden envelope with first challenge. Straightforward enough...

 

R1 - Your car(d)s are old, battered, and have lost much of their early powerrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! They could really do with some new engines to get them up to speed.

Make an Equip card for your monster.

 

Note: It does not have to read 'this card can only be equipped to Rogue Doll.' But the range of targets should be specific enough and obviously, your monster needs to fall under them.

Equip only to a WATER Spellcaster-Type or Warrior-Type monster. If the equipped monster is targeted by a card effect, you must return this card to your hand to negate the effect of that card and destroy it. When the monster equipped with this card battles, return the monster it battles and this card to their owner's hand before damage calculation.

This card can only be equipped to a Spellcaster monster with 2000 or more ATK. The equipped monster's effects regarding Life Points are reversed. The equipped monster gains ATK equal to the number of monsters in your opponent's Graveyard. (x50) If the equipped monster is destroyed, gain 1000 Life Points.

Equip only to a "Headless Knight", "Warrior Dai Grepher" or "Warrior of Zera" you control. Increase its ATK by 1000. Activate 1 of the following effects: - The Equipped monster is now treated as a DARK Fiend-Type monster. Each time the equipped monster destroyes a monster by battle, you can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard to inflict 800 damage to your opponent. - The Equipped monster is now treated as a LIGHT Warrior-Type monster. Once per turn, when a card you control would be destroyed, you can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard to negate its destruction.

 

I chose to make this work with the storylines of the named card, as both Warriors could either choose a path of Justice and Light while also being able to choose from a path of Darkness. Imo "Headless Knight" has the same option, as his flavor text says that he's "in search of truth and justice" but we all know that those things are all to easy too fake. Giving it the choice, will it become a DARK monster that's only able to hurt, or a LIGHT monster that protects others.

Lore: Equip only to a FIRE Effect Monster whose ATK and DEF are equal to 2500 or less when added together. Each time the equipped monster activates its effect; inflict damage to your opponent equal to the sum of the equipped monster's ATK and DEF. Your opponent then discards his or her entire hand, and can pay Life Points equal to the equipped Monster's Level x 200 to draw the same number of cards that were previously in his or her hand. If the equipped monster is removed from the field, remove this card from play. You then take damage equal to the sum of monster's ATK and DEF x2.

When the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can Special Summon up to 2 "Silver Fang" from your Deck or Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. During your Main Phase, you can send this face-up card to the Graveyard and select 1 "Silver Fang" you control. If you activate this effect, the selected monster gains 1000 ATK.

Reason?

 

Try 'because I can'.

 

I do not score heavily on pictures (you won't be penalised for absence of) but I do like the effort of finding a picture that 'suits' the card, more than just a good picture. I also do award a point for people taking the time/putting in the detail that make the card look as authentic as possible (Serial Number, etc).

 

Plus it's the most commonly used format.

The trip will be long and hard, and your car(d)s must be reliable and able to endure the road ahead. So that you are not killed to death.

Activate only if a face-up WATER Spellcaster-Type or Warrior-Type monster you control is selected as an attack target or as a target for an opponent's card effect. Tribute that monster and Special Summon 1 "Aqua Madoor" or "Neo Aqua Madoor" from your hand or Deck in face-up Defense Position. If you do, the ATK of all face-up monsters your opponent controls are halved. Also, their effects are negated until the End Phase of your next turn.

If you control a Fiend-Type Normal Monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Fiend-Type Normal Monster you control, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, that equipped monster gains 500 ATK and DEF. When the equipped monster is attacked, it gains ATK equal to the attacking monster's DEF, during damage calculation only. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)

 

No explanetion needed.
